I spent a little over half an hour today scourging the place I volunteer at looking for some crayons for a little girl and when I finally found them I went running to her and she was sitting with her mom and she got so so happy that I found the crayons and I was extremely happy too and then her mom was so puzzled and then she too got happy and yeah, peak highlight of my day...
#virus rambling#also all the adults there call me 'mami' or 'mamás' or they started calling me 'poquito' too XD#and before someone says anything about them calling me 'mami' its not used the way a lot of people know the word is used#their essentially calling me an endearment like 'babe/sweetie/sweetheart' etc... and the same for mamas too#and then the 'poquito' started because my spanish is terrible its awful and i only know a little so#everytime some came up to me i told them i speek very little spanish#and the word for little is 'poquito' and so that conbined with me being this very tiny person they started calling me poquito XD#but most of the women are calling me mami/mamas and the guys are having a blast calling me poquito#text post
