Okay like two hours have passed since I got the Pfizer booster and I have had like zero side effects. I think a lot of the things I thought were vaccine side effects were just that I was apparently very, very allergic to the Moderna vaccine, so that's...something lol

2021.10.27 Shinhwa’s Eric Instagram Update:
First Post:
I'm here for the second dose of Pfizer with my best friend #Vaccine #SecondDose #Pfizer #IAmHungry
👩🏻: What are you going to eat after you get vaccinated~~?? ERIC: Mandon or Popolo Pizza, nearby restaurants~ 👩🏻: If there are a lot of people at Popolo, Primi Piatti is also good! 👩🏻: Wow this is the place I recommended! It might hurt, so I recommend Mandon! Protein!!! 👩🏻: For a cafe, go to PO coffee nearby. It’s a really delicious spot ㅋㅋㅋ 🙌🙌
Second Post:
I heard Ibuprofen works better than Tylenol for the 2nd round of Pfizer, so I prepared this as well. Aja Aja Pfizer! They said it doesn't hurt if you say that. #NoHashtag
T/N: aja aja fighting (아자 아자 화이팅) is an expression to boost morale or encouragement. Pfizer in Korean = 화이자. He switched out 팅 for 아자 아자 화이자 (aja aja Pfizer) as a play on 아자 아자 화이팅
Comments and Replies:
🧑🏻: Hyung, I took one Tylenol every 4 - 5 hours and two when I slept. I don't catch a cold easily but without the medicine, I thought I was going to die when I got the 2nd dose. I hope you overcome it well. ERIC: Gosh, it must have hurt more when you're younge. I'm worried because I'm a baby, too. 👩🏻: ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ😂 👩🏻: Baby Eric 🙌🧡 👩🏻: He is baby Eric now ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
👩🏻: I hope it passes by without a problem! ERIC: Like Mutalisk 🔥 T/N: Mutalisk is a character in Starcraft
👩🏻: It’s not #nohashtag it’s #hashtag because even #nohashtag is a hashtag… I want to leave work ERIC: You’re sharp.
👩🏻: Wow, my husband and I were so excited because we were fine after getting the second dose of Moderna on Saturday. But at dawn, our fever rose to 39 degrees Celsius. We lived like zombies until Sunday. Now, we're finally living like humans. Even if you're not sick, take medicine in advance and keep water and food near your reach 😂 ERIC: People say Moderna hurts more. You worked hard.
👩🏻: Those who graduated from national school don't get sick. Only those who graduated from elementary school get sick ㅋㅋ I don’t think you’ll get sick ERIC: /Block love.yoon5115 👩🏻: Ah~~ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 👩🏻: Ah ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I’m laughingㅋㅋㅋㅋ
T/N: In the old days, Korean elementary school was called national school (국민학교). But in 1996, it's changed to elementary/primary school  (초등학교). These days it's used as a way to identify people who are older. If you say "I attended national school (국민학교)," it implies you're at least mid-30s. So the commenter jokingly sais that Eric won't get sick because he's old 😂  And that's why he joked back to block commenter 😆
👩🏻: I'm a nurse fan!! It's best to take only acetaminophen-based relievers! If it hurts too much, I recommend you to take the injections prescribed by the hospital.😍 ERIC: What are the acetaminophen-based products? 👩🏻: @muneric Tylenol 650mg pills. I buy it at pharmacy and take that!!😂 I hope you don't get sick and pass it safely.
👩🏻: Oppa, I need a booster shot, but I'm already scared to deathㅜㅠㅠ It hurt so much for a few days after the first and second dosesㅜㅠㅠ Thinking of getting a shot again ㅎㅎㅎㅎㅎ😢 ERIC: Does everyone must get a booster shot? The 3rd dose? 👩🏻: Booster shots are supposed to be for medical staffs first. I don't think there is any information for the general public yet.
👩🏻: At my current job, acetaminophen is used for headaches, body aches, and fever. We guide you to take ibuprofen only for heartaches and irregular heartbeats. Fighting! Fighting! ERIC: Aha~ Please share a lot of good information~ 👩🏻: ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Oh I just knew this. I'll prepare the medicine as you said when I get my second dose😆
👩🏻: You have to say aja aja Pfizer loudly ㅎㅎ ERIC: I said it while doing hand motions! 👩🏻: As expected from our leader oppa 👍👍
👩🏻: Which vaccine will be good for the 3rd dose...😢 ERIC: Does everyone must get the 3rd dose? 👩🏻: The 3rd dose is for senior citizens of 75 or older, hospital staffs, and COVID-19 vaccination hospitals^_ㅠ Nothing beyond that has been confirmed yet (from a hospital worker😃) 👩🏻: I got a call, so I’m getting the 3rd dose 😢 I had a hard time during the 2nd dose 😨 How am I going to get the 3rd dose ㅠ Which medicine will be good 😭 👩🏻: They said it's good to get the 3rd dose~ My hospital director told me~

Like I said yesterday I am trying to give myself grace. I slept a lot. Today was hard on my body. I am trying to not feel guilty for resting. I am assuming I will be resting most of the day tomorrow to.
It wasn't a bad day, but I didn't feel great. It wasn't even that I slept bad. I just couldn't wake up. I woke up a few times this morning but the world was cold and the bed was warm and I just didn't want to get up. Even though I had the vaccine clinic. But it was only a couple minutes down the road so I dint need to rush.
I got up and got washed and dressed. I felt very very cool today.
I was really nervous about going to the clinic. Mostly because it was at a spot I have not been to before. And everyone told me to eat and drink before hand so I brought a snack with me and drank water on the drive there and I did my best.
I got to the college and I couldn't see a sign for the building or any posters or anything about the clinic so I was worried I was in the wrong place. I parked and walked over to where I saw a map. And it ended up being right there so it was all good.
While I was walking I was putting on my new phone case which is green leather and I love it. But was hard to put on and my hands were shaking because I was nervous so Im surprised I didn't break anything.
The two nurses I spoke to were really nice. They asked me which vaccine I wanted because they had both Pfizer and Moderna. I got Pfizer both times before so I went with the Modera for some spice. I have read a few times that mixing them could give some more protection maybe? Whatever its all good. They were really nice and I get the shot very quick. I had to wait a few minutes after and then I couldn't find them so I went next door where they were doing testing to let them know I was heading out.
I was in high spirits. I was trying to talk myself up. Things were good. Im all vaccinated. I would ride that high.
I headed back to the car and went to the place I was going to go yesterday but didn't because of the car stuff. I drove to the national parkway and went to look for cookie boxes.
That was my main goal. I went to Marshalls first but they only had large ones. I ended up getting that same hand lotion I got a few weeks ago but now its a mango instead of a banana so I was pretty pleased.
I went down the street next and went to the terrible goodwill. It is always so dark and dirty and empty in that one. Which s why I never go there. But I was in the area so I went and I found the silliest chirstmas sweater I am excited to wear. It was brand new!
There was a panaera in that shopping center so I got soup. I was starting to not feel 100%. I thought eating would help. And it did make me feel a little better but I wasn't that hungry in the end honestly. I ate it but I wasn't as thrilled as I thought I would be.
I went across the street to the dollar store and got my cookie boxes. I had a nice chat with the lady behind me. And then I went to the pet store and I got some new decore for the fish tank. Which I love and Im super excited about it. I will work on the frog tank next but for now at least this one tank is beautiful.
I went home after that. I was tired and started to not feeling great.i got a really bad nose bleed while I was driving. But I got home and James was leaving to go for a little bike ride. I don't exactly remember the order of things but I did some putting away. Cleaned the fish tank. James came home and we agreed on pizza for dinner. And I laid down.
I slept for a few hours. I felt pretty bad when I woke up. My arm hurts a lot but no fever. I cleaned the kitty litter and had pizza and me and James exchanged some gifts.
They got me one of those sunset lamps and I got them a train watch. I love my James. I hung out in their office with them for a bit. And then took a bath. I washed my hair and now I am waiting for my hair to dry a little. I am looking forward to sleep.
Tomorrow I am just going to let myself rest. I might do some cleaning. I might play animal crossing. But mostly I just want to rest.
Sleep well everyone. Take care of yourselves!!

So, I had my COVID booster shot on Friday, and just thought I would put my experience out there for anyone who is curious about side effects.
I figured it was going to hit me like my second shot (I had Moderna, and for the first shot, my only side effect was a sore arm, but the day after I had the second, I was running a mild fever, had bad chills and some body aches, and generally felt pretty shitty; this only lasted for a day, thankfully), so I decided to be proactive with Tylenol, which helped a lot when the second shot made me feel crappy.
I got the booster around 3:30 in the afternoon on Friday; that was about the time I had my second shot. I woke up feeling fine the morning after my second shot, but around 10:00, my immune system suddenly ran me over with a truck, so I knew not to trust getting through the first several hours ok. I took some Tylenol right before bed on the night of my booster in case my immune system went, “Hol up--THIS bitch again??” in the middle of the night. I figured a dose of Tylenol would see me through most of the night, and then I could take some in the morning if necessary. I woke up with a sore arm and really nothing else (although I will note my arm was pretty painful, which is typical for me with vaccines; I couldn’t lift it all the way, and even very light pressure on the injection site hurt a little). We had to go grocery shopping, so before we left, I took some Tylenol again for my arm and to try and stave off the worst of any side effects. I did feel a bit under the weather: I had a headache and that sort of achey, hot feeling that you get in your head when you’re feverish. I did not actually have a fever, though my temperature was a bit higher than normal (I tend to run on the colder side, like around 97 degrees, and I was right at 98 yesterday). I felt a bit run down all day, but functional, and a headache that kind of came and went. I just drank some water and sat around and read and played a bit of Tomb Raider. Even when the Tylenol wore off, I didn’t feel too terrible; much better than I had with the second shot.
I took a little more Tylenol before bed, then slept almost ten hours straight through, and woke up this morning feeling pretty much back to normal, with only a mild headache (which tbh is probably due to sinus pressure); my arm feels much better as well.
Everyone is different, of course, and I can’t guarantee that my symptoms will be your symptoms, but I highly recommend keeping Tylenol on hand and just taking it easy for the day or two after your shot. This was actually quite a bit better than I expected, and I think being proactive with Tylenol, rather than smugly assuming I was going to get away with a sore arm for both shots, is what made this a better experience than my second dose.

My opinion on Covid19 and vaccination
Alright, I'll preface this by saying that this bill is about the vaccine for Covid19 (mostly Pfizer, as it's the one mostly administered in France, where I currently live ; this will be relevant a few paragraphs below). Also, this post is particularly focused on the vaccine, and I will ramble, just so you know.
Firstly, I know a lot of people are wary of the vaccines, which I can understand. I myself didn't want to be vaccinated. As for the reason why, I believe this will explain it :
Tumblr media
Source : https://www.bbc.com/news/health-54027269.amp
For those who want a little more detail, during those 5 first years, multiple things are tested, such as toxicology, adverse effects, whether or not its efficiency is working, and if there are other treatments, whether this one is actually an improvement or not. Even once it's approved, there is still a years long follow-up, in case of adverse effects, immediate and not.
This is a lot of work, and it takes years.
Now, I'm not saying the vaccines we have today against Covid19 are bad, but we did rush it through, and as such, there simply can't be as much of a broader view, so to speak. What about the adverse effects ?
Once again, if it was up to me, I wouldn't have gotten vaccinated.
Unfortunately, the government is pushing for 100% of the population vaccinated. They keep saying on the news that it's not mandatory, but then, they force you to vaccinate of you don’t want to be confined.
Now, I know some of you will think "Yeah, she won't vaccinate to protect her family, but she will to go to the restaurant or the theatre", but that's not it. I'm really introverted. But I'm also a student. If I want to continue my studies at the university, I have to vaccinate.
To put it in simpler terms : either you get vaccinated, or you can't live anymore, now and ever.
Now, there's another thing I want to speak about, the reason which finally pushed me into writing this : so there have been rumors that vaccines can affect your period. I know there's already been tons of "testimonies" of people who no longer have periods, have periods more painful than usual, etc.
Now, I know not to take everything that I read on the Internet as always true, and there has been no proof that those problems correlate with their vaccinations. According to the website of the newspaper Le Monde, there have been 310 reports in France (Pfizer and Moderna) and 450 in Spain (all vaccines), who began vaccinating around the same time. In the UK, who began earlier, there have been 28 943 reports.
Just wondering.
Now, my period can be weird about when it happens, as it can vary between two weeks. Nothing to be alarmed at. However, mine always last a long time ? And they are often painful. But last time, just after my first injection, I barely had two days and I didn't even feel it. I wasn't even taking painkillers or anything ! Now, tomorrow is my second injection, and I'm kind of apprehensive.
While we're at it, another reason why I'm apprehensive is how my mother reacted to the second dose. See, she was completely alright after the first one. Her arm hurt her a bit, she was running a slight fever, but nothing to be worried about. It was to be expected.
Now, her second injection left her completely bedridden for 3 days. Although, I don't want you to believe that everyone is the same ; my uncle felt absolutely fine after both times. But my mother was completely out of it with pain and feverish the first day, and the next two days were barely better. Unfortunately, I'm my mother's daughter and there is a chance I may be affected the same way she was. Which will be kinda bad since I'll be travelling to another country for a few days the day after.
Anyway, if you stayed and read the second part of this thing, thanks ! I'll feel less alone. While we're at it, does anyone know of any studies or articles about the effects of the vaccine ?
Have a good day !

I got the first dose of the covid vaccine yesterday (Jan 5th 2021)!! Sharing 2 days of my experiences so that when access has been expanded and doses are available more widely you’ll have my story regarding safety and side effects.
Some facts: I got it early because I’m a medical student seeing patients (lately a lot of covid pts!). I am otherwise mostly healthy without any serious chronic or autoimmune conditions. The reason healthcare workers are being prioritized is not because we’re going to get more sick, but because if we DO catch it, we might accidentally spread it to patients who might themselves become very ill. Our jobs mean we are exposed to and exposing many many people every day. No WFH here!
Once you register you get a little card with the vaccine company (in the US rn moderna or pfizer only) and today’s date and a date 28 days later which is the date of your next and (hopefully) final dose/appointment.
I got the first dose of the Moderna vaccine after answering some screening questions about history of severe allergic reactions, recent covid (+) test or quarantine, a temperature check, etc. The shot itself was delivered with a small gauge syringe 💉. It actually hurt WAY LESS than the flu shot I got several months ago!! I’m a big baby when it comes to needles (ironic! I know) but this was NOT BAD AT ALL. Genuinely barely felt it. 1/10 pain scale. The 1 is just because I knew the needle was going in
They had me sit for 15 min afterwards to make sure I didn’t pass out or suddenly get an allergic reaction. I was just fine! Left the hospital and got totally lost on my way home thanks to my goddamn gps which for some reason took me ACROSS STATE LINES I am going to kill google-
Two hours later my arm felt mostly normal. No pain! 0/10 pain scale. The area felt like it might be a little warm and maybe ever so slightly numb, but this might just be because I was mentally focusing on it very intently since receiving the shot.
Pain began maybe four hours after the shot. Gradual soreness that went from a 4/10 to maybe a 6/10 by bedtime (11 hours later). It’s not sharp or stinging, it feels like the same dull sore sensation one gets after a flu shot. Maybe slightly worse, like something between a flu and tetanus shot. I will survive it even though my mom accidentally bumped the spot no less than three times
Around 11pm or so I started getting a headache. This might have been secondary to personal stress or maybe the several hours I spent watching tv or the fact that I’ve been prone to bad headaches for several years now. But it’s also a known vaccine side effect. I took two ibuprofens at around 10:45pm because of the arm soreness
Okay so I didn’t sleep much over night. Part of it is stress but also my arm hurt. I’m used to sleeping on my left side buuut the shot was in my left arm :/
And in the morning about 22 hours after I got the vaccine the arm soreness is worse, maybe 7-8/10. I took another two ibuprofen so we’ll see how it goes. No other side effects though just the sore arm.
okay so it’s now about 6pm and fascists are taking over my country’s capitol building so i haven’t been focusing on my arm so much. the good news is that it hurts less now! still hurts to move it in abduction (which is medical for out away from the body like an airplane pose) but it’s way less severe. a steady 4-5/10
Everything is unhinged now so I’m just scheduling this post for Jan 7th and hoping there are no further historical events in the next 24 hours.
Jan 7th update is that it doesn’t hurt anymore!!

I think I’m kind of the tail end of vaccinated people, so most of you won’t be interested, but just for funsies, 24 hours out from my first Moderna shot:
Last night was rough, feeling really exhausted and feverish, and my arm hurt, although not to the point where I couldn’t use it. I fell asleep pretty early. It wasn’t really even pre-flu symptoms, just tired and gross. All I wanted to do was lie in bed and write or play stupid games on my phone. Showering felt good?
Still tired today, although I’m also kinda tired all the time, so who knows. My arm’s still a bit sore, but I can use it easily. Still feel off/feverish, and a tiny bit brain-foggy, but way better than last night. Excited to do all the chores I put off yesterday :/ (And to drink a lot of coffee.) My tummy’s a bit off, but again, it could have been spicy food I had for dinner last night. I definitely feel better than I did yesterday.
Stuff that worked for me:
DRINK WATER. No more water than that. MORE THAN THAT. Is your pee clear yet? DRINK MORE WATER.
Move your arm around as much as possible. I was literally setting 25-minute alarms to finish off my big cup of water and get up and weave an inch or two, because my loom requires me to really use my arms and especially my shoulders. If I couldn’t get up I moved my arm and stretched, and I think this helped more than anything.
Take tylenol/ibuprofen/whatever as soon as you feel meh. It’s fine, and I wish I’d taken it before I started running a fever.
If you have a morning appointment, eat something before you go. I don’t think the shot itself was what caused me feeling really sick, but I did have a nonzero number of Emotions, and it would have helped to have something other than coffee in my belly.
We as a capitalist society have decided that vaccine yuk justifies taking the night/day/next two days off. Take shameless advantage of this.

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
December 18, 2020
Heather Cox Richardson
A year ago today, the House of Representatives voted to impeach President Donald J. Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
In his plea to Senators to convict the president, Adam Schiff (D-CA), the lead impeachment manager for the House, warned “you know you can’t trust this president to do what’s right for this country.” Schiff asked: “How much damage can Donald Trump do between now and the next election?” and then answered his own question: “A lot. A lot of damage.” “Can you have the least bit of confidence that Donald Trump will… protect our national interest over his own personal interest?” Schiff asked the senators who were about to vote on Trump’s guilt. “You know you can’t, which makes him dangerous to this country.’’
Republicans took offense at Schiff’s passionate words, seeing them as criticism of themselves. They voted to acquit Trump of the charges the House had levied against him.
And a year later, here we are. A pandemic has killed more than 312,000 of us, and numbers of infections and deaths are spiking. Today we hit a new single-day record of reported coronavirus cases with 246,914, our third daily record in a row. The economy is in shambles, with more than 6 million Americans applying for unemployment benefits. And the government has been hobbled by a massive hack from foreign operatives, likely Russians, who have hit many of our key departments.
Today it began to feel as if the Trump administration was falling apart as journalists began digging into a number of troubling stories.
Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller, appointed by Trump after he fired Defense Secretary Mark Esper by tweet on November 9, this morning abruptly halted the transition briefings the Pentagon had been providing, as required by law, to the incoming Biden team. Observers were taken aback by this unprecedented halt to the transition process, as well as by the stated excuse: that Defense Department officials were overwhelmed by the number of meetings the transition required. Retired four-star general Barry R. McCaffrey, a military analyst for NBC and MSNBC, tweeted: “Pentagon abruptly halts Biden transition—MAKES NO SENSE. CLAIM THEY ARE OVERWHELMED. DOD GOES OPAQUE. TRUMP-MILLER UP TO NO GOOD. DANGER.”
After Axios published the story and outrage was building, Miller issued a statement saying the two sides had decided on a “mutually-agreed upon holiday, which begins tomorrow.” Biden transition director Yohannes Abraham promptly told reporters: “Let me be clear: there was no mutually agreed upon holiday break. In fact, we think it’s important that briefings and other engagements continue during this period as there’s no time to spare, and that’s particularly true in the aftermath of ascertainment delay," a reference to the delay in the administration’s recognition of Biden’s election.
Later, the administration suggested the sudden end to the transition briefings was because Trump was angry that the Washington Post on Wednesday had published a story showing how much money Biden could save by stopping the construction of Trump’s border wall. Anger over a story from two days ago seems like a stretch, a justification after the briefings had been cancelled for other reasons. The big story of the day, and the week, and the month, and the year, and probably of this administration, is the sweeping hack of our government by a hostile foreign power. The abrupt end to the briefings might reflect that the administration isn’t keen on giving Biden access to the crime scene.
Republicans appear to be trying to cripple the Biden administration more broadly. The country has been thrilled by the arrival of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine that promises an end to the scourge under which we’re suffering. Just tonight, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) authorized a second vaccine, produced by Moderna, for emergency authorization use. This vaccine does not require ultracold temperatures for shipping the way the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine does. Two vaccines for the coronavirus are extraordinarily good news.
But this week, as the first Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines were being given, states learned that the doses the federal government had promised were not going to arrive, and no one is quite sure why. The government blamed Pfizer, which promptly blasted the government, saying it had plenty of vaccines in warehouses but had received no information about where to send them. Then the White House said there was confusion over scheduling.
Josh Kovensky at Talking Points Memo has been following this story, and concluded a day or so ago that the administration had made no plans for vaccine distribution beyond February 1, when the problem would be Biden’s. Kovensky also noted that it appears the administration promised vaccine distribution on an impossible timeline, deliberately raising hopes for vaccine availability that Biden couldn’t possibly fulfill. Today Kovensky noted that there are apparently doses missing and unaccounted for, but no one seems to know where they might be.
Today suggested yet another instance of Republican bad faith. With Americans hungry and increasingly homeless, the nation is desperate for another coronavirus relief bill. The House passed one last May, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell refused to take it up. Throughout the summer and fall, negotiations on a different bill failed as Republicans demanded liability protection for businesses whose employees got coronavirus after they reopened, and Democrats demanded federal aid to states and local governments, pinched as tax revenue has fallen off during the pandemic. Now, though, with many Americans at the end of their rope, McConnell indicated he would be willing to cut a deal because the lack of a relief package is hurting the Republican Senate candidates before the runoff election in Georgia on January 5. Both sides seemed on the verge of a deal.
That deal fell apart this afternoon after Senator Pat Toomey (R-PA) with the blessing of McConnell, suddenly insisted on limiting the ability of the Federal Reserve to lend money to help businesses and towns stay afloat. These were tools the Trump administration had and used, but Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin tried to kill them after Trump lost the election. The Federal Reserve’s ability to manage fiscal markets is key to addressing recessions. Removing that power would gravely hamper Biden’s ability to help the nation climb out of the recession during his administration.
It’s hard not to see this as a move by McConnell and Senate Republicans to take away Biden’s power—power enjoyed by presidents in general, and by Trump in particular—to combat the recession in order to hobble the economy and hurt the Democrats before the 2022 election.
Money was in the news in another way today, too. Business Insider broke the story that the Trump campaign used a shell company approved by Jared Kushner to pay campaign expenses without having to disclose them to federal election regulators. The company was called American Made Media Consultants LLC. Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, was president, and Vice President Mike Pence’s nephew, John Pence, was vice president until the two apparently stepped down in late 2019 to work on the campaign. The treasurer was the chief financial officer of the Trump campaign, Sean Dollman.
The Trump campaign spent more than $700 million of the $1.26 billion of campaign cash it raised in the 2020 cycle through AMMC, but to whom it paid that money is hidden. Former Republican Federal Election Commission Chairman Trevor Potter is trying to take up the slack left by the currently crippled Federal Elections Commission. His organization, the Campaign Legal Center, a nonpartisan clean election group, last July accused the Trump campaign of "disguising" campaign funding of about $170 million "by laundering the funds" through AMMC.
This news adds to our understanding that Trump is leaving the White House with a large amount of cash. He has raised more than $250 million since November 3, urging his supporters to donate to his election challenges, but much of the money has gone to his own new political action committee or to the Republican National Committee. Recently, he has begged supporters to give to a “Georgia Election Fund,” suggesting that the money will go to the runoff elections for Georgia’s two senators, but 75% of the money actually goes to Trump’s new political action committee and 25% to the Republican National Committee.
Shane Goldmacher and Maggie Haberman at the New York Times note that are very few limits to how Trump can spend the money from his new PAC.

I’ve got post vaccine (moderna gang) shivers so I need to express fluff headcanons to spread good vibes
When Ecto was planning to propose, he had to keep it so hush hush because Higari can easily find things out. He didn’t tell anyone but higaris mother and his own parents. He was very happy that Higari was actually surprised with the proposal. Higari wears the rings on a necklace- his quirk doesn’t exactly make wedding rings easy to find.
As much as Higari prefers being a support hero, search and rescue jobs that go smoothly it’s very rewarding. He often checks up on those he’s managed to rescue, keeps in touch with some too. There’s this lovely older woman who he rescued from a crumbling retirement home who sends him baked goods every holiday. He visits her every month for tea.
When Ecto is sick, Higari cares for him easily. Even when Ecto acts like he isn’t sick. He’ll make him soup, make sure he’s resting, cold compress on his forehead. As stubborn as he is, ecto appreciates it.
Higaris favorite memory with his dad is digging around in the yard with him. Since they had the same quirks, it worked out. He showed him how to carve tunnels without the ground crumbling, or just played around in the dirt. There’s a picture of Higari when he was three, covered in dirt with his head peaking out of a hole. His dad was grinning, sitting near by like he was cheering him on. Sometimes, especially on days where thinking about his dad is hard, he’ll tell Ecto stories.
As someone who also got shivers after getting a vaccine I know the feeling, how you’re doing well!
Ecto proposing, Yes! I love the idea of Ecto proposing to Higari, and his rugged flirting smirking self just crumbles in the face of Ecto holding a ring to him. Ecto’s eyes are so full of love and he has such a soft grin on his face that Higari can’t help but tearing up, he tries to think of something flirty to say back, but he just can’t. He’s overwhelmed - probably ended up tackling Ecto in a hug with a big kiss, which threw Ecto off guard, thinking at first maybe he’d overwhelmed Higari when he started crying.
Higari wearing is around his neck, also yes. Higari’s wedding ring is the only thing that he will spend careful hours cleaning and polishing at the end of each day to make sure it stays in good condition, wears is around UA proudly - though I imagine for interviews outside of UA or when he’s called out for hero work he leaves it at home in a special box on his dresser or safely tucks it away in a drawer in the design studio, as much as he loves wearing the rink around his neck he dreads the thought of loosing it in a rescue, or having some nosy reports pester him for answers if they catch sight of it.
With Higari’s gear I’m a firm believer he’d be a great rescue hero in say like natural disasters or if a building collapsed. With his giant robotic suit and his know how on construction he could easily map a safe route to evacuate citizens from an unstable building, or quickly find a way to clean up after a land slide. Need to move a giant tree? No problem he’ll move it no prob. Citizen can’t move because they’re leg hurts? He can carry em out to safety. Kids they rescued are bored while they’re waiting for parents to pick them up? Higari tolerates them clambering about on his hero suit like it’s a jungle gym
Anything with Higari caring for Ecto or vise versa is so wholesome! In my NGAU I imagine Higari prolly knows all the tricks to help when someone is sick, he grew up in a big house with tones of little siblings, as kids they got sick a lot with how often they played in the garden and mud, they’ve all got very strong immune systems so it’s rare Higari or his siblings get sick - but Higari still knows all the tricks to help nursing someone back to health. He remembers to give Ecto some medicine, make him some soup, hot water bottle if he’d cold, flannel if he’s too hot and plenty of liquids. A teenie tiny part of Ecto might even enjoy all the attention, appreciating Higari’s concern. Too bad Higari is too stubborn to actually treat himself when he’s sick, with how little he gets sick he doesn’t take it all that seriously - thankfully Ecto is a patient man with many clones, so is willing to drag Higari back to bed if needed XD
And the last one with his dad...
Anon: Are you trying to make me cry-
In my NGAU Powerloader’s dad was all over him, spoiled Higari so so much. Spent many lazy afternoons slacking off work when the missus wasn’t looking to play around with Higari (bragged for like a week straight that he got his quirk, proud dad moment). Higari’s mother came out into the garden to see how the boys where doing, she finds her husband and toddler son covered head to toe in dirt and mud. She gets angry at them, insisting the two need a bath if they want to have dinner. Toddler Higari hated baths from the day he was born apparently, and it’s only until dear old papa gives him a bath is he willing to get clean. His dad puts bubbles in Higari’s hair, and Higari splashes bubbles onto his dads beard, who then makes a silly face to make Higari laugh. Too bad only one hour after tea the two got dirty again-
The first time Higari used his quirk was when he was outside with his dad. His dad was working on fixing up the shed, Higari sitting in a small play pen outside with some toys while his dad stood close by, able to work while also keeping an eye on Higari. Higari, bored of playing with his building blocks, begins to drag his little hands at the ground, and before he knows it he’s tunneling his way to freedome beyond the bounds of his baby playpen. This kind of scneario probably ensued:
Kaigo (PL’s dad): Phew *picks up tool box and turns around* Alright sweetpea, time to go back insi- *freezes when he sees the playpen is empty, and no baby in sight* W-WHAT?! *drops tool box, and rapidly looks around* Uh- H-Higari?! Sweetpea?! Where’d you go?? Come to dad, this isn’t funny! *rushes around a bit*
Higari: *tunnles his way up to the surface in his mothers flowerbed, a small pile of dirt with a flower sticking out the top sitting on his head*
Kaigo: *searching in the bushes* H-Higari?! Higari! Where are you?! *mumbles* Shit I took my eyes off him for two minutes! Where the hell could he-
Higari: BAPA!
Kaigo: *jumps and whirls around*..*heaves and sigh and rushes over* Oh thank god! *scoops him into his arms for a hug* You stupid lil’ ankle biter! Don’t you ever do that again! *holds him out at arms length* How in the world did you even get out??
Higari: *sneezes from the dirt, making the flower fall off his head*
Kaigo:..Wait. Did..D-Did you, DIG your way out?!
Higari: *incoherent baby noises*
Kaigo;...Ooooh you are in SO much trouble young man, you know how many years off my life you just took? Huh?...*scowls as Higari giggles* Oh so you think this is FUNNY?-
Higari: *grabs his nose* BA!
Kaigo:............*sighs* You’re damn lucky you’re cute, you know that?...Uh, how about we DON’T tell your Ma about this, okay?
Ever since then his dad had to watch him like a hawk, one minute Higari was sitting playing with his toys, the next he was trying to dig his way to the other side of the world. When he was old enough his dad did give him some lessons in how to dig safely so the ground wouldn’t become unstable. I imagine Higari may have madea  few tunnels as a kid that where too close to the surface, and his very unsuspecting mum and dad would just sink into the ground collapsing an old tunnel Higari made. And Higari having pictures?? YES. His mum probably has a whole stash of pictures of Higari as a baby playing outside with his dad and her. Including the embarrassing photos, the kind of photos Higari would never want Ecto to see, but his mum showed him anyway.
Now I wanna write angst with Powerloader and his dad aaaaa-

ALRIGHT YA’LL IT’S BEEN AN HOUR SINCE I GOT THE COVID VACCINE AND I’M GONNA START GIVING HOURLY UPDATES.
• I got the Pfizer vaccine so I don’t know anything about what the Moderna one’s like
• For me the shot itself actually hurt a lot less than a normal flu shot
• My arm currently hurts a bit but that’s all I’ve got so far thanks for listening

to the other anon if they're worried about their vaccine! i got moderna and while i didn't really get symptoms the first shot sans soreness (my fault really bc nothing hurt initially and then i decided it was proof i could fight god and did dumb things).
however for the second shot i got chills the day of like a few hours after and also had a headache when i woke up. my friend ended up getting a fever when she got hers and a fever reliever (and slept it off) for that but i took tylenol for my headache. it last for about two days but i bounced back after.
just make sure to drink water and if you need to as a precaution block out the day after the vaccine to rest!
^^ this is all pretty consistent with what my roommate & i went through! she was a bit more affected by the shots than i was, but we were both pretty okay after a day or two. stay hydrated, eat good food, and get lots of rest - you'll make it through 💪

So Thursday I got my first dose of vaccine.  I didn’t know it, but at some point my state expanded the eligibility to smokers of any age.  I don’t smoke cigarettes, but I do vape and I have medical marijuana, so it counts.  Anyway.
I got the Moderna.  My arm started to get sore ~3 hours after the shot.  All day today (Friday) it felt like it was going to fall off.  It just hurts from shoulder to wrist, as well as my armpit and up into my neck/ jaw.  For a while there I even had skin sensitivity on the whole arm that felt like a sunburn or even a windburn.  I was fatigued for most of the day; it’s possible that it was from yesterday’s Ativan, either totally or at least partially.  It happens sometimes.  I was cold all day.  I had two distinct bouts of malaise that lasted about 10 minutes each.  It was never bad enough that I felt I had to take anything for pain, though I probably should have.
So it’s been 35 hours and my arm still hurts but not as much as 12 hours ago.  Otherwise I feel fine.  I haven’t had covid afaik.  All in all, this isn’t bad.  I know the next one’s going to be worse, but man, I can’t imagine how bad the ‘rona is compared to this and I super don’t want to find out.
My mom also had the Moderna and got “covid arm” both times; with her second dose she had fatigue and a headache that went away with tylenol.  It lasted about two days, with her being almost back to normal by bedtime the second day.  She’s a lot tougher than I am though.
So anyway, that’s my vaccine experience so far.  I hope all you guys can get it soon, if you haven’t already.

My Vaccine Journey(So far)
Tumblr media
Even tho I went through all this, at least I know I'm gonna be healthy and happy.
I'M NOT FORCING OR ENCOURAGING ANYONE TO DO A VACCINE BY POSTING THIS, I AM JUST SHARING MY SIDE OF THE STORY! Here's answers to questions you may have; -Which one did you get? J&J -Why? Why not the Pfifzer or Moderna? We wanted to get the one and done shot instead of the one, then another in a month. -Arent you aware of the clot issues they had? Yes. And I've talked to a CDC employee on the phone. She said that when that happened, they recalled and reinstalled after fixing. And also I'll only get that issue if I have blood problems as is. And as far as I know, I don't have any thinned blood, thick blood, heart issues, or low blood platelets -Were you skeptical? Scared? Yes, because this whole thing with the vaccines and virus itself was new to me, and I'm exposed to it, so I was worried. But the nurse told me it's normal and that a lot of adults were worrying and crying, like I was. -Don't symptoms come in within 12hrs? Yes, but here's the thing, it can come early or late depending on people; it may never come at all for some! (Lucky bastards). But, here's the thing. I believe because I'm smaller and skinnier/unhealthy then most people as well as I was BAWLING HARD after the shot, my energy must've drained faster. Which to be fair, I'm glad, cuz we work on Wednesday, so if I were to get sick Tuesday(today), I may have not been able to work. So in a way I'm glad I got sick instantly. -Tips? So, no matter what vax you get, if you have questions on anything, the nurses will try their hardest to answer your questions, otherwise they will give you a packet that may show things you're curious of. Once you get the vax, if you immediately have the flu symptoms, stay in bed, drink water or Gatorade, take ibuprofen for your fever. In case you have SEVERE nausea, have a baggy or trash next you and sip room-temp gingerale or white soda. If your arm hurts or still hurts, move your arm, massage it, put heat or ice on it, and don't sleep on that arm ^^ THANKS FOR COMING TO MY TED TALK 💉😷

19/10/2021
Last week was tough. I hate it when my body makes me feel those bad thoughts and feelings. I managed to pull myself out of that black hole as always which usually seems impossible.
I took the time to have a meaningful conversation with my partner about working on our relationship more. He’s under a lot of stress and I’m struggling mentally and need the emotional support. It’s been going okay for the last couple of days and he’s been sharing some great energy with me lately which is making me happy.
I saw my psych on Monday which is always great. It was my 4th session and I’ve been throughly enjoying my time with her. I feel like I can totally express myself. She always makes me feel free and comfortable to express and explain anything going on in my life and reassures me that my feelings are true and real.
I wanted to explain to her how I felt about my fulfilment with loved ones. It goes like this:
I feel like my body is a glass and the water inside that glass represents my emotional fulfilment. A full glass representing emotional satisfaction and fulfilment. And an emptier glass representing unsatisfactory feelings or being unfulfilled.
Full = happiness, love, light, carefree.
Empty = sad, struggle, desperation, lost.
Depending on my experiences the water in the glass fluctuates according to those experiences. A pleasant experience can add a couple of teaspoons of water and as it fills…feelings of fulfilment change with it. Bad experiences causing the water to evaporate over time.
I feel like I’m at a constant state of being 1/4 full, and from there it can go up or it can go down. My interactions with others and the thoughts and feelings of myself cause these fluctuations. Fulfilment is very rare for me. I feel like there is always a struggle somewhere in my life whether it be work, relationships, family, friends, social interactions, weight loss, list goes on. I’m an extroverted introvert btw. If that helps you to gain a better understanding of who I am. I rely heavily on my partner to fill that glass regularly, and when I am in a time of struggle I need more. For the past 2 years he really hasn’t been giving me the support I need. I get trickles of water here and there a couple times a week. And that could be something as little as a positive interaction, a welcoming conversation or body language. I require a lot of affection and reassurance, this is what I long for, and it’s something that I have been deprived of all my life, and an issue on my list of problems for my psych to fix 😅. If I don’t get a consistent supply of it….my glass gets dries out. Then depression sets in, anxiety, self destructive thoughts and behaviour. It’ll take a few days to pull myself out but lately in the past couple of years it has seemed to be a regular affair. I’m so tired of it. I hate this. (Rhetorically) Why can’t I be stronger like others and not feel so attacked and hopeless. Why do I let these people get under my skin, why do I let it hurt.
I’m looking forward to spending more time with my psychologist. I’m already learning. We both agreed there’s a lot to touch on, we haven’t even gotten to the nitty gritty parts if my life where I talk about my childhood. Which was hell for me. I feel confident I suffered some kind of psychological or emotional trauma as a child. We just need to figure it all out. It will be interesting to see what she says. She gave me some homework to do over the next couple of days. 2 questionnaires. And to drop them off at the clinic once complete, which I’ll do when I attend my doctors appointment next door. And then my 2nd dose of Moderna. Knowing I have my appointment for vaccination tomorrow makes me feel good. I’m excited to finally get that done so I can enjoy some freedom. I’m also looking forward to my hair appointment Friday to get my hair cut and coloured, I’m going all out this time….I NEVER colour my hair. I deserve it after being stuck at home for 4 agonising months!
Anyway, feeling neutral in this moment of time with the teensy-est bit of anxiousness. I have no idea why though. But that’s anxiety for you 🙄
Until next time! 👋🏼
