Bell*rke and Z*tara shippers who hate on Reylo and Reylo shippers (not the ones who go "oh not my cup of tea" but the ones who go on and on about Reylo being abuse and strawmanning shippers' morality) are so fucking frustrating. Especially Bell*rke, because literally all my friends there became Reylo antis. Like you cowards, don't you remember, Bell*rke is an enemies-to-friends-to-lovers ship that's just spending a lot of time as 'friends'. You have forgotten where you come from

that was my experience in that fandom too and exactly why I totally withdrew from all of them. like that was what finally shed a light for me on the fact that for some reason that fandom attracts a lot of really unpleasant, negative, and self-righteous people, which is absolutely wild considering it’s a post-apocalyptic show where everyone does super fucked up stuff, and I thought they were my friends but I actually didn’t even like most of them and had very little in common with them. (and yeah they have ABSOLUTELY forgotten. I guess it’s because bell/arke stalled out in the friends portion for too long but everyone I knew was always pretending they were the friends to lovers trope. despite also loudly declaiming how s1 was the best. and I was like ?????? if they weren’t an enemies to lovers ship I never would have started shipping them–I hate the friends to lovers trope lmao)
