it is underrated how straight up murderous felassan is in the masked empire. cannot stress enough - this guy threatens a random shopkeeper with torture and maiming in a way that implies he's done it before, then helps kill off an entire dalish clan in cold blood, all without even a hint of remorse or hesitation. and then in veilguard he's on the "but... solas... how could you let soldiers die in a war... aren't you going too far? 🥺😭" mindset. smh. let this guy be a menace to society.

#veilguard critical #i would argue if this is the case he would've been more likely to be sort of #egging solas on in terms of ruthlessness in the rebellion #for whatever his crimes solas does at least feel Terrible about them and seems to think it's important to maintain guilt about killing #felassan is actually just. vibing 😭#i'm at all times bewildered by veilguard's writing choices bc they didn't even like #make felassan funny #and at the very least weekes is pretty good at writing funny banter and dark humour?#and that's Blorbo From Their Novel... how did they make him so bland #i think actually the conflict between ''stone cold killer who does not want to end the world'' vs #''regretful and sentimental person who does want to end the world'' is fascinating if they had. used it.
