4. Does your OC consider themselves to be attractive? Do they put much effort into achieving this?

Hmmm.... I think Hawu'li would sliiightly side more with "doesn't think themselves to be attractive". He doesn't think he's like, ugly, tho - it's more of self esteem issues.

He's tinier and squishier than most male miqo'tes, who already are tiny compared to most races. He can't hunt, can't jump quite as well as other miqos, nor have the nice toned build most of the hunters he admired as a kid had. He honestly did not have a good self image before arriving in Gridania, and only slowly got better during his days there. Lots of squishy healers around him 24/7 kinda got him to appreciate it more: he's not a weird failure, just someone with different bodybuild. And some people seem to prefer him like that, so unless you catch Hawu'li during a bad day, he himself would probably say he's "okay looking".

Somewhere later down the line, with more confidence under his belt, Hawu'li did actually start putting a bit more effort into his looks. It's not like, suuuper much, but he does take great pride in keeping his tail as nice and fluffy as possible (spends lots of time grooming it every night, even while on road), his hair neat and dyed (turquoise part is dyed) and take the time to do his red eyeshadow on daily basis. It's both something he himself finds cute, as well as a small nod towards keeper tradition of bright warpaints. Somewhere around EW he also slooowly starts doing some training with the scions/whoever he's traveling with, to build up a bit more stamina and endurance.

6. Has your OC ever had their heart broken? Have they ever truly recovered?

Hummm.... I WAS about to say no, but then realized Haurche was a thing soooo, let's go with yes. Yes he's incredibly sad he never figured out Haurche liked him while he was still alive (yes, he is that blind lol). He's not actively thinking about it every moment (he'd like to keep smiling and living his life, both for Haurche and others he's lost), but I think Hawu'li still carries some of that with him: for example, it's one of the reasons he ended up making a move on Exarch before ShB patches (other being him missing his chance with him in the past).

You could argue Zenos too, but I'm not really sure if it should be called broken heart. Not sure what it should be called either tho, so... (￣▽￣)" In general he has very little messy breakups in his past, and isn't really the type to get too hung up on being rejected by errant crushes.
