I abandoned all my plushies and pillows except for the main one when I changed to a folding bed that lacked the space for them, it was around six years ago I think. Worst decision of my life, I knew it was bad for my psyche to not even have a second pillow to hug but didn't pay much heed to it, I only came upon one stuffed animal yesterday and decided to hug it to sleep,,,,,,,,, I could feel the stress leaving me live time???????? Couldn't get rid of all of it as there's a lot, but man........................... I'm never going back
