if i were to make a bg3 verse viktor would be a human artificer, originally born in lantan and raised by gnome artificers. having immigrated to baldur's gate at some point he would be one of the gondians ( although, whilst he inherited his love of engineering and craftmanship from the people who raised him, he's hardly a devout ).
