thinking about languages and I may have forgotten most of my high school Latin, but I will never forget “Caecilius est in horto”.
#i joke but i CAN still read all the basic baby beginners latin from the year 1 textbook my high school used#and since it's just ye olde cambridge latin i can probably just pirate the textbooks pretty easily if i ever wanted to relearn it#i would probably never be able to speak it or construct my own sentences because oh no grammar#but it'd be nice to be able to relearn how to read it given how relevant it is to my interests
