god etsy is such an on fire trash can but it has a bunch of shipping presets that are difficult to migrate so i guess we'll do it this way
so anyways there's a glitch where sometimes it forces you to buy a shipping label in order to close out DIGITAL purchases which is fucking insane to me.
So I've pulled the only other cross stitch pattern off of it and made it a pay-what-you-want on kofi
I've also uploaded the other MASSIVE pattern onto ko-fi bc why not
It's a fairly obscure monster road trip reference but I'll be real it holds it's own perfectly fine as a fun pattern to have around the house for your average weirdo
both of these are basically free since ko-fi allows you a pay what you like option
If they had canada post shipping label pre-sets and a robust dms-to-custom-commission-listing system I would migrate in a heartbeat but ALAS

I'm thinking abt that pretty fall leaves embroidery pattern post and about how like... it is categorically a repost, it's a reupload. right? a thing that is generally disliked. but because it's credited, it's genuinely boosting the artist in question. and it could ALWAYS be like this. reposting content could ALWAYS be a symbiotic relationship, but because sourcing back to the original creator of something is so uncommon, it's just easier to ask people not to repost it at all. and people still don't understand the difference. or they'll go to the effort of cropping out usernames/signatures to repost something, which is More Effort than literally crediting the creator of something you liked enough to want to repost. Like. I literally don't actually care if my own shit gets reposted, you have to understand. I just don't want it STOLEN. But "do not repost" is easier to write on my art than "you can repost this, but don't alter the image/remove my signature, don't you dare write 'credit goes to the artist' because that is not credit, please link back to my original post or someplace that you can actually find me. please use an actual link/url instead of writing a non-clickable link of my username, because making it text instead of a clickable link cuts the number of people who will go to the effort of visiting my own page in Half." All those aggregate themed accounts, those fuckin annoying as hell instagrams and facebook groups that are like "body positive art we love wamen 💕 hashtag feminism" and then MASS-STEAL plus sized art created by women, if pages like these that always go and steal my older self-portraits and other works... My cat, Ziggy, started doing something recently where she gets visibly upset when we have dinner late. (And we're talking 1-2 hours late, so not minutes late. And also a house of 3-4 people she gets upset about. Thats a lot for a little girl!)
MORE recently, however, she's started offering me her own dinner when this happens. Before that started I figured it was more a routine thing. Like, "why haven't you eaten all together yet?"
But now I'm thinking she might think we don't have enough food, and is trying to give us some of her share. She also gets pretty visibly stressed when we refuse to eat her food. Sometimes shell even threaten to go hunt down some dinner herself.
And then once she sees that we have eaten, she settles IMMEDIATELY. Like I cannot stress enough how immediate she begins to get up to mischief again. And only then will she eat her own dinner.
Idk what my original point was gonna be, but I am in tears at how much this cat loves us for such a little being.

well ackshually top gun (navy fighter weapons school) moved out to NAS Fallon in Nevada after the USMC took control of NAS Miramar in 1996 (2006 in my timeline) so i don’t think he would’ve seen it there

so i started this show and it just gets worse and worseeeee not only did it lift the romance subplot directly from twilight (and not well) but they also are trying to play the forbidden love angle hard in the fantasy racism vein except it's a "cross-species" relationship between the two whitest people i've ever seen in my life and there are three people of color in the whole (first season of the) show who aren't villains and it seems that every other episode (and sometimes ebery episode and sometimes twice an episode!) there is a man physically or magically subjugating a woman and i keep waiting for the big reveal at the end to be stolen from fucking rainbow rowell
