for the zombie au, what are their weapons, and why did you pick that set

Hi anon I'm kissing you on the mouth right now because I love this question and have actually put too much thought into it

So, for weapons, I tried to go with:

A knife

A melee weapon

A gun

And a specialty weapon

I also tried to keep in mind specific combat styles

For BEN, they thrive in close combat. They actually have pretty shit aim with guns, but are STELLAR with a bow, so they have a dagger they tuck into their impractical thigh high socks for their knife, something bigger than your average pocket knife that can do a lot of damage, and a sawed off shotgun as their gun because they don't need to have good aim to do massive damage, they just need to be close enough to guarantee a hit. He's got a Master Sword replica because I know for a fact that there's 3 malls within a 30 mile radius of me that have an anime store with a replica that's actually carbon steel and capable of being used as a weapon, so there's no way his weeb ass didn't immediately hightail it there to be the Chosen Hero of Hyrule. And for the specialty weapon, she's very skilled at archery, and there's some fucking GNARLY arrow heads for hunting out there. My sketch doesn't show it well, but I actually incorporated archery gloves into her design.

For Toby, he's pretty decent up close, especially with melee weapons, where he doesn't have to be as precise and can use his sheer brute animal strength to his advantage, so he's got the Classic™ dual wielding hatchets, as well as dual wielding pistols. He's REALLY good at dual wielding weapons. He even has a chest holster for them because harnesses are better for working dogs than collars I thought it looked cool. I imagine his knife is just a typical hunting/survival knife from Walmart, nothing special. I didn't draw it because I would die if I actually had to draw a gun for real, but I imagine for his special weapon, it's maybe a concept stolen from Black Butler. I hc normally that he's actually got really bad eyesight because he's farsighted, and that's why he wears goggles, they have his glasses prescription in it, so for this AU, I think it's fitting that he'd be REALLY good with a sniper rifle
