If I could go back in time and experience one thing again it would be back to one of my summers when I was between 8 and 11 to a trip to my grandparents house so I could curl up on their brown 1980s carpet in front of the swamp cooler and take a nap.

It’s not common knowledge that Superheroes powers are linked to the number of their believers.

The constant battles, the flashy costumes, the secret identities to add mystery, the continual need to be in the public eye … it’s just trying to be an influencer, to engage the cosmic Patreon.

But it’s just as easy to be forgotten, to slip from public eye, to lose the important battle and sink into obscurity…

Taking on an apprentice, well that’s just an excuse for a season of renewal, a chance to to engage more of the punters, and if your sidekick gets too popular … not a problem if you’re getting your percentage … unless their stealing all the limelight … then they may need to have an unfortunate mishap with a super villain.

But, that was long past for me. I’d long been forgotten, consigned to the old superhero’s home; barely able to raise the energy most days to wander around the Rose garden telling stories of my glory days to the young nurses who smiled politely and nodded “Yes Grandpa, now let’s get you a nice cup of tea and a biscuit … just sit here in the sun, aren’t the roses looking good today”

I woke; bright, energetic and renewed; I’d been napping in the sun. Someone believed, I could feel their bright earnest belief flowing into my veins; strong vibrant … clearly a young potential … someone seeking a mentor … ha.

Now, if I could just mold them into “a someone”, someone the public adored … I could live vicariously through their fame, and be restored to my former glory …

Oh joyous day. Nurse, quickly, where are my things … I must away to care for my young fledgling …

Upon graduating the academy, each superhero in training is granted the choice of training under a full fledged superhero. If you select their name, they are secretly notified and will come and find you, to see if they want to train you. There’s always a massive rush and squabble over the best names, the recognisable ones, in the records office. When looking through the names, you find one hidden at the back, having slipped out of the case. Its dirty, slightly torn, in elegant old writing, and seemingly long forgotten. Something inside you says that this is the one for you.

MUN QUESTIONS.    Q1 :   if  you  could  write  your  character  your  way  in  their  own  movie ,   what  would  it  be  called ,  what  style  would  it  be  filmed  in ,  and  what  would  it  be  about ?        

  A1 :  I think if it would be anything from Ayla, it would just be her view on the event’s of @fangs-and-lace ‘s story. Get more of her emotions and thoughts. As for film and such, I have no idea    Q2 :   what  would  their  soundtrack / score  sound  like ?          

A2 : Love scores from movies, old jazz, and upbeat pop       Q3 :   why  did  you  start  writing  this  character ?          

A3 : I wish I could say that I just created her because I loved the thought of her, but I didn’t. An old rp partner had a ship with her mother muse and literally gave me a ton of kids to figure out how to write for. 

     Q4 :   what  first  attracted  you  to  this  character ?        

A4:   See above. But honestly, something about her just kept calling to me to develop her. And boy, did she go through a lot before we got to this point.       Q5 :   describe  the  biggest  thing  you  dislike  about  your  muse.      

 A5 :  I honestly love Ayla. She is such a sweet muse, an honestly caring muse. So much of her is so genuine. My only issue is getting in her headspace. She is someone who knows the future but does little to focus on it. She has been hurt just by the circumstances of her life, but still remains kind. It is so hard to slip into her perspective sometimes  Q6 :   what  do  you  have  in  common  with  your  muse ?          

A6 :   Unconditional love. If we love you, we truly love you. We will be ride or die.  Q7 :   how  does  your  muse  feel  about  you ?        

A7 :  She loves me, but is concerned about me. I’m not the best to myself and I often ignore my own health issues and such  Q8 :   what  characters  does  your  muse  have  interesting  interactions  with ?      

A8 :  Lord... of course, she adores any interactions with @fangs-and-lace. Positively loves @xviperinae, even enjoys talking to @shadowofawolfandman. @cupido-periculosa and @refusedtobow / @md-vampire-hunter are others she is excited to know better. She really does enjoy every interaction she’s had, and honestly loves talking to everyone

 Q9 :   what  gives  you  inspiration  to  write  your  muse ?        

A9 : Honestly? I like writing Ayla when I feel down or upset. She truly makes me feel better  Q10 :   how  long  did  this  take  you  to  complete ?
