saw a guy online saying "You shouldn't buy trdelník when you visit Czech cities; it's not a traditional food and we don't make it at home--it's a tourist scam."
which I'm sure is all true. but what amuses me is that when people see the word "trdelník," they think "Czechia." (maybe "Slovakia") where else could you imagine finding one?
so trdelníky may be a scam, but! they're a uniquely Czech scam.
