ok so like.......i was watchin some key dance vids and like.......holy shit is that boy talented. like he goes on a show n they ask him to do a girl group dance or something and no matter what they fuckin choose he knows it. and he can do it. because hes watched it once or maybe twice. like literally??? thats such an amazing talent? i take dance right and to learn a full choreo to those kinds of songs would take most ppl weeks, and if youre GOOD maybe one week. but holy shit he does it from just seeing it ONCE and thats RIDICULOUS. and its annoying because on these shows hes just disregarded because his talent is shown in these girl group dances they ask him to do and so its seen as some kind of joke? like yea u see people going “woah” and just looking shocked because he does it perfect every time no matter what but nonetheless theres that aura of laughter and “haha this is funny because its a guy doing a girl group dance!” or even more so, “haha this is so diva! but god forbid anyone bring up the word gay. lets just laugh at the diva trope and pretend that its Not tied to anything “Risque” and just. silently think lower of this amazing talent because of that possibility and that trope.” like do ya feel me? kim kibum rly is such a multitalented person with so many different skills and hes always just being boiled down by these shows and whatnot to just that stupid lesser-than-a-man kinda trope. its rly sad. and i guess im just glad its dying down a little as compared to 2010-2012 i guess. and i rly am just waiting for the day where idols can act as stereotypically (or really at all) gay or feminine as they fuckin want to without being laughed at as a joke or boiled down to a lesser being with lesser talents. thats all
