#maybe this has everything to do with the fact that 1) I'm not good at relationships 2) haven't been in one in AGES#but oh man how I HATE that trope where in order to be together one side of th relationship has to change everything about themselves#like... you met someone and this person didn't like fish and now they HAVE to change and love fish so you can be together?#I mean... why don't you stop eating fish if it's that important that you're together?!!!!!!!!!!!!!#I know sacrifice blablabla but WHY?! if you meet someone and fall for them the way they are WHY DO YOU NEED TO CHANGE THEM THEN?!#ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh#I haven't been able to enjoy this show (among other things) because the idea that the woman (it's always the woman btw) has to change#(actually adopt) her beliefs so she can be with this man is constantly being hinted/in my head#and oh my GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD I hate it uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh#random#personal#my shitty English#also look at me watching shows before the year ends yay. I'm actually doing it because I had already downloaded it#and I need the space and I can't delete it without watching it. plus I want to get over with it soon so I can watch Squid Game 2 AND#Arcane 2 and MAYBE even finish The Bear 3?#who is this person and what did they do to 'I can't commit to a show' Iss?!
