got any tips for drawing hayden's face? it's so oddly... square? but also soft. but also built like a wooden box? but also weirdly smooth. you get what i mean?

ooh good question ... admittedly, i add a lot of personal touches when i draw hayden - but if i had to describe my own process, i draw his head shape as very boxy/rectangular, and save most of the softness for his facial features!!

my thoughts when drawing his head are:

wide, square jaw

notable cheekbones

expressive with his whole face

i also notice i give him soft, round features during my rough drafts, and then define the angles a bit more in the cleaned sketches - i wonder if that helps build a softer foundation? LOL
