#no selfless deed indeed#but it's such a rush gosh#i mean thanking for the priviledge of experiencing someone's art should in and of itself be enough of a reason to comment#and it is i swear it's always the reason i do it in the first place i promise i promise i promise#but add in the artist thanking you for thanking them and it becomes addicting in the best kind of way#and somehow i feel super guilty for getting such a rush for my comment being acknowledged lmao#i'm just a tiny praise-deprived art lover in a world full of interactable art your honour#me to fic authors: 'praise me for praising you pls thank you'#'its not like you already gifted the world with your absolute brilliance'#'here are some words so you can give me more of yours and this time direct them personally to me pls thank you'#all joking aside i do leave the comment primarily for the authors' benefit#to thank them for allowing me to be touched by them#and obviously i leave the comment with the hope that it touches them in return#and obviously i leave the comment with the full knowledge that they're under no obligation to read and/or respond to it#but hope for the unknown is where happiness lives and i think it's born whenever that hope blooms into reality#so yes your honour i also leave the comment with the hope that the way i intended to touch lands the right way and is acknowledged<3#ok gtg time to go write some of my WIPs or perhaps start a new one because my horoscope said i shouldn't hahha
