learning to read again after not reading for so long can be daunting and it doessss take a while to get used to esp if you stopped reading as a kid and now yr an adult (wheres tht post thts like reading as an adult takes longer coz yr brain is actually processing more) but like it is soooooo worth it and im so grateful to be at the point in my healing where i can do it

#almost done with my first book of the yr!!!!!! last yr around june i committed to finishing this book i had started in 2022 and i juuust #finally finished it in november. its legitimately the first book i’ve finished since highschool #and now its the beginning of february and im almost finished w another book!!!! sooooo exciting and i got more on my reading list to get to #and im in the process of reading this one other book as well tho tht one is like almost 600 pages lol so itll be a while before i get done w #her (just jumped the hurdle of the first 100 pages tho so 👍 making progress)#anyways. im very excited to read #told myself i cant get any new books until i finish some of the ones i already have and it is deffo a motivator but idk im also just #motivated to do it! adhd meds n regulating yr nervous system will do tht to you ig #LIFE IS BEAUTIFULLLLLLKLLLLL or whatever #also reading helps yr writing which ive known since forever but now tht i have the time n mental energy to dedicate to reading…….wowwwww
