when you watch a relatively good lil video essay about something you love, and they've got a lot of the details right but the very basic stuff is wrong... like bruh, how did you miss THIS?

#ftr it was about dub censorship in sailor moon #and not only did they pronounce 'DiC' as 'dee-eye-cee'#but they seemed to think DiC was the ONLY company that ever dubbed it?#despite the cloverway dub being a whole different monster of censorship and iwhat they censored and so forth #and the 'DiC vs. Cloverway' arguments were rampant #it doesn't matter but doesn't it tho?#when clearly you didn't bother to verify some basic #VERY easily checked information #just bc you thought for sure you were right?#*I* even double checked what season cloverway took over #and i LIVED through that transition when this show was the only thing i cared about #idk rubbed me the wrong way I guess.
