i can always tell when a dragon age fan has only ever played as a lavellan inquisitor and never bothered playing a qunari or dwarf inquisitor run based on how they talk about solas

#dragon age for ts.#we really needed a city elf option for inquisitor honestly maybe the elf supremacists of fandom would Understand.#the only city elf rep we get in the main cast is sera who is very divisive and lavellan players who love solas tend to hate her.#and nobody really tries to understand why she's bristly about the elven pantheon beyond 'she's racist'#while never seeing solas's racism despite his condescending attitude towards dwarfs & qunari.#MEANWHILE canon shows the ancient elves fucked over ancient dwarves and are the reason why their main society was driven underground.#but elves!!!!!.....right???
