important to note for this discussion that my dad correctly identifies L and Laios as autistic
something weird going on with how my dad mostly she/hers neferpitou yet mostly they/thems kurapika
#my dad is pretty decent on the subject of autism and neurodivergency#his dad (my grandpa) has a very stereotypical presentation of what would formerly be dx'd as asperger's syndrome#and my dad is likely on the spectrum as well altho he waffles back and forth on whether he self identifies with it#but just from things he has told me#there is a pretty direct line of autism in our family from grandpa -> dad -> me lol#he brought up L's autism unprompted but i think i couldn't help myself from bringing up laios first myself lol#also brief argument w my brother about whether laios is actually the leader of the group#i was like YES he is they all know he sucks at social stuff and rib him for that but they#rely on his expertise and respect his leadership in the actual dungeon and combat situations !!!!!#not that my brother is generally ableist lol he's quite well educated on the topic and has like turbo adhd himself#autism things#aphelion.txt
