Pet owners can have a little anthropomorphism. As a treat.
#it really doesn't hurt to asign a little character to moments as long as you're not using it to explain or excuse behavior#it helps build empathy#also what does it hurt to put a critter in clothes or buy it toys that look like baby toys#and most critters are resilient enough to tolerate a hug or face kisses#understand that your animal isn't human#but enjoy the company of your animal#we put up with some of their weird quirks so they can tolerate a few of ours and be okay#understand that your animal is an animal but there's also no need to suck the joy and empathy out of having a pet
