I feel like The Dirt movie would be better if the band wasn’t involved
#like the book is interesting precisely because it's their perspective on things#and the film is arguably what they /want/ to be true#but wish fullfillment isn't always good cinema#but I also feel like#there needs to be a certain objectivity heree#ultimately these are four very unpleasant and troubled people#enable and encouraged to be their worst selves#and maybe what i just want is a rockbio that's just wildly depressing and challenging#can you dig it [ooc]
