just over a year ago all these people and public figures were criticizing the world cup being held in qatar...or all the players last summer selling out to go play in saudi arabia...all under the guise of 'human rights!! women's rights!!! queer rights!!'. I mean I definitely knew what it was about, but i didn't think it would be so soon that they'd be proven to be plain racist.

obvs i've been a certain way these past months but one thing that really got to me last year was that video of the mass evacuation to the south. Now I'm feeling the same thing about this Rafah invasion news. 1.5m people in tents being forced to move across the border into egypt as if egypt is gonna be able to welcome 1.5m refugees just like that. as if they even want to. as if they're not charging up to 10k to cross the border. as if Palestinians even want to leave their land. as if israriri has any right to fucking breathe.

and to top it off....more attacks on lebanon. just outside of beirut.
