a/n: it's drabble time!! thought i'm not gonna post tonight but oh well 💀 dropping a little shorter one but i hope you guys like it just as much <3

What Jungwon has learnt throughout the entire two years you've been together is that you turn into a light sleeper whenever he's not around. So the turned off lights are enough for him to know that he needs to keep quiet and walk around on his toes. He quietly closes the door behind him, then sets his suitcase right next to the staircase.

Unpacking can wait couple hours more. All that he needs right now is to finally fall asleep with your body curled up next to his – the beloved feeling that he's been deprived of for two months as he's been away on a tour.

He walks up the stairs and pushes the tilted door of your shared bedroom open only to be met with a sight of you asleep. The dim moonlight peaking through the curtains lets him distinguish the way that your face gets smothered by a pillow in the dark, and he feels a smile creeping up on his face almost in an instant.

One look at you is enough to make him feel at home.

Stirring in your sleep, you feel a pair of all too familiar arms wrapping around your middle. The scent, your favorite scent in the entire world, of your boyfriend's cologne engulfs you warmly and you feel a sting of giddiness waking you out of your sleep.

"Won?" You ask groggily, turning around in his tight hold. The second that your eyes meet his sparkly ones, you let a tired grin spread your lips widely and you throw yourself on his neck, pulling him closely to your body. "You're home!"

Your breath tickles his neck but he would rather die than to find it in himself to complain about any of that that – not after he's been missing you like crazy for such a long time. So he nuzzles his head in your shoulder instead.

"Hi, love. Sorry, didn't mean to wake you up."

You smack his arm lightly before going back to squeezing the life out of him. "I'm glad you did. Wanna greet you properly," you mumble in his neck, fingers playing with the hair on the back of his head. He hums before pressing his warm lips to your temple. "You're early, though. Thought you were supposed to come in the evening?"

"We took an earlier flight. Couldn't wait to get home to you. See your pretty face again."

His hands caress your skin ever so gently, the touch nearly lulling you back to sleep. So before your eyes close back again, you tighten your arms around him and whisper a small "I've missed you" with a voice full of emotion.

Jungwon runs his fingers through your hair, carefully untangling whatever knots have created at the ends of your locks. He's well aware you're seconds away from drifting away again but he doesn't mind that at all. Because now he has you in his arms again – his love, his sunshine, and he relishes in the relief as his heart full of longing finally feels almost hundred pounds lighter.

"I've missed you too. So fucking much," he whispers back, letting his lips linger over your cheek after he places a kiss upon it. His nose gently nudges yours before he pulls you impossibly close to his chest and eventually allows his heavy eyelids to flutter shut.

With your body flush to his and the faint sound of your breathing soothing him as well as a lullaby, Jungwon knows he'll finally get a good night's sleep after two months of tossing restlessly in the hotel beds.

"I'm taking you with me the next time," he mumbles into your hair, not even sure if you're listening or if you're already fast asleep but he keeps talking, "I don't care, from now on I'm taking you anywhere I go. Couldn't deal without you for so long again."

Changbin had been on tour for 2 months now. It was so difficult for both of you to deal with. What he didn’t know though, was that you had a surprise visit planned. All the guys were in on it.

They had been texting you non stop about how changbin had been pouting constantly, scrolling through pictures of you and complaining about how lonely he was. It felt like there was a thunder cloud hovering over him and anytime he smiled it was for a show or because you called.

You were packing your stuff as you got a call from him. You panicked for unknown reasons because unless you pointed your camera, specificaly at your suitcase, your room looked exactly the same.

You picked up the video call, ‘HEYYYY! YOU TOOK A WHOLE 5 RINGS TO PICK UP!! WHY?! HAVE I BEEN GONE TOO LONG? DO YOU NOT LOVE ME ANYMORE!?’ He threw out his wild theories and you couldn’t help but laugh.

‘It’s only been 2 months. Don’t worry, I still have faint memories of us together. Although… I think they’re fading…who are you?’ You said seriously and he gasped.

‘I KNEW IT! I’m gonna die alone oh my god…’

‘I’m the one losing memories, god, way to make your tour all about you.” You laughed.

He squinted at you, ‘you’re mean.’

‘I’m also one of your favourite people in the world. Did you call just to list off traits of mine?’

‘No. I miss you and your ungrateful ass,’ he pouted as he flopped back on his bed.

This seemed to distract him and you guys talked about what had been going on recently. You managed to not fall face first somewhere after that and everything went well.

Your flight was 3 days later and you were so excited. You had told the guys to make sure changbin was distracted so he didn’t text or call you. The poor baby would think you were ignoring him.

When you landed, you rested up at the hotel you would be at temporary before their next concert. Your plan was to appear in the audience and he would look so surprised to see you. Then you would duck and make him think he imagined it.

It was mean but you would appear backstage so… no harm no foul.

Everything was going to plan and now you had seungmin walking you to a safe place to get some food before you went to the floor.

You met them all except changbin and it was so refreshing. You were just aching to hug changbin again. Although your wish came true when he walked past the room. He looked in, saw you and carried on walking because obviously he wasn’t expecting you to be there.

Jisung pushed you behind the sofa and sat in your place.

Changbin came charging back in, ‘Y/N???’

‘All these years together and I thought you knew my name,’ jisung fake cried. ‘After everything we’ve been through.’

Jeongin laughed, ‘he’s hallucinating again. God, you really can’t be away from them, can you?’

‘Codependency be like,’ hyunjin tacked on with a giggle.

Changbin sighed and side eyed the members as he left the room. ‘I’m not codependent… I just love them a lot. All your single, lonely asses can’t talk,’ he mumbled with a pout.

When he was definitely gone, Chan let you know the coast was clear. You stepped out with laughs, ‘shots fired! Damn.’

Hyunjin scowled at you, ‘Y/N shut up or so help me, I’ll call him back.’

You immediately stopped smiling and sobered up. You were about to say something but then you pretended to zip your mouth shut and gave him an overly big smile.

You spent a little more time eating then moved to go to the floor. With their help obviously, you didn’t want to accidentally run into changbin.

You were having fun, all the songs on this album were SO good. You made eye contact with changbin then he looked away but he looked back, frantically scanning the audience. You had ducked and he couldn’t find you again, he blinked a bunch, took a breath and moved away from that area.

You did this 2 more times and every time, he looked more and more confused. When the concert ended, you made your way to the security guard who would help you get backstage. It took you a little while to sift through the crowd but eventually, you made it.

As you got closer to their changing rooms, you could hear changbin talking.

‘I have no idea what’s wrong with me. I thought it was a wierd moment before but now… I actually keep seeing them everywhere. Like I could’ve sworn they were in the audience,’ you could hear him sniffling, ‘I wish I could go home… atleast for a bit.’

You knocked on the door and he opened the door. His jaw dropped as he stood there, staring at you.

‘Mail for a… ‘Changbin’? We have a package for a ‘Seo Changbin’,’ you said casually.

He turned and looked at everyone else, ‘you’re seeing this too right? They’re here? I’m not about to hug a mail man to death?’

Everyone laughed and yelled surprise. He turned around so fast and within a second, you were in a soul crushing hug.

‘I missed you too baby but I do need my ribs after this so…’ you wheezed as you lightly hugged him back. He loosened the hug with a quiet sorry.

After you had all calmed down, everyone laughed at how absolutely confused changbin looked on stage. He also apologised for calling them all lonely asses when jeongin reminded him.

It was a good day. You spent the next 2 weeks with them and loved every moment of it.

dear diary,

1. my husband and i couldn’t sit together on the flight, i was so sad. all because of staying up late last night and the late arrival at the airport this morning, so we couldn't check-in in time. luckily, when i got on the plane, i changed seats with another girl, and i got to sit with my husband!!!

2. i had to admit that the girl was kind and pretty. she had such a cute smile, i asked her name only to find out that her name was hinami fueguchi, going back to new york to continue her studies.

3. after about two hours of flying, i was so bored, the movie i was watching with my husband sucked, but he was still watching it intently, so i decided to sleep, but before i slept, i saw a very romantic scene, just like in a movie! the girl hinami i just met was sleeping with her head on the shoulder of the person next to her. he seemed confused at first, but he probably didn't have the heart to wake her up so he continued to sit like that. oh so romantic.

4. when hinami woke up, she realized what happened and hurriedly apologized to the person next to her. he said it was okay, but he smiled brightly. so i overheard their conversation. i dragged my husband in to listen to it too.

5. the boy next to her was ayato kirishima, also a japanese exchange student. the two of them talked a lot, mainly about their hobbies and studying etc. heh, i could feel love budding. was it because of boz me here to match you two? kkkk.

6. my husband told me i was crazy, i didn’t care. so unromantic of him. i continued to observe the two sitting above. the distance between the two was getting closer and closer. their elbows touched.

7. ayato started showing hinami pictures on his phone. i didn't know which picture they were talking about? family photos? ayato's picture? i was so curious.

8. wow i've never seen a love story as sweet as this. i remember the time when i went through so many ups and downs with my husband to get married. at first, we were like cats and dogs. but these two, just on one flight, already matched well. maybe they should get married tomorrow 😂 ah, ayato told hinami to sleep, and let hinami rest on his shoulder to sleep.

9. i couldn’t sleep because i was afraid of missing 0.1 seconds of this sweet couple. when hinami was sleeping, ayato even covered her with a blanket. haha reminds me of a few times my husband did the same to me. only 1 hour left until the arrival, would the story end well or not?

10. FINALLY THE PLANE LANDED, AYATO AND HINAMI GOT OFF THE PLANE THEN WENT INSIDE THE AIRPORT TOGETHER. THEY EVEN HELD HANDS. my husband and i were like two stalkers who cling to them. the two of them took the bus together. so boz, the matchmaker, finally succeeded! HINAMI FUEGUCHI IS AYATO KIRISHIMA’S.

MY THOUGHTS ON TBB 2×12 "The Outpost"

I don't know how I'm going to articulate all the thoughts I have about this episode because my mind is still reeling. But I'll do my best. I absolutely ADORED it!! I think it became my favorite ever (despite all the emotional damage that inflicted on me). It's very satisfying regarding Crosshair's storyline, and DBB was right to consider it the best.

I love all the symbolism and parallels to previous episode, but it terrifies what will come next. But I'll talk about that later. Let's start at the beginning…

Final thoughts

This episode was full of call back, parallels and foreshadowing in a way that previous episodes have not.

Let's start with the poetry of Crosshair changing sides on a snow/ice planets. First on Kaller, and now here.

Crosshair watching the ice vultures, probably remembering what Mayday told him earlier about those things finding a way to survive before shooting Nolan.

And of course, Crosshair carrying injured Mayday back to camp instead of "not bothering to carry deadweight" as he said a few times before, not just in this episode. Mayday's comment of not wanting to die on Crosshair's watch is funny the first time you watch the episode, but it takes a whole new weight by the end of it.

I'm sure there are one or two more I'm missing, and I'll remember later, but you get the idea.

And I'm TERRIFIED, like shitting on my pants scared, of what will happen in the next 4 episodes!! I'm not sure if I'll survive the waiting.

When I flew to Korea. My biggest fear was starting my cycle right there on the plane🤣 cause it was due and a little late. Shout out to irregular cycles~ kidding kind of. Also mainly because the week before my flight I saw a video where the girl talked about how it suddenly happened mid flight the day she was traveling and it unlocked a new fear for me.

It waited til I entered my apartment in korea like within an hour I just was like oh no. Thank whoever was watching over me and was giving me good luck that day, and it also happened before the dinner I had to go to while I was still in the apartment. And also thankful @ myself that I packed like a 6 month supply for no reason other than just in case💀

Also sorry for the overshare I saw you got it in Japan while crouching to look at something lmao. And it activated that fear of it happening on a plane thought. I hope you got to handle that quickly or had something on you were close by so you didn’t have to tough it out. Also do you like pack let’s say your going somewhere for a week or two but you pack like 3 months of underwear you know incase you shit yourself 3 times a day every day for those two weeks and change your underwear 5 times a day for some unknown reason🤣 not that you would or that it’s ever happened but just incase that’s the one time it does. Or am I insane. It’ll be like 2 jeans 1 shorts and like 7 shirts. And pjs. But 3 months of undies and socks and period stuff)

whenever my cycle is coming up, i'll usually wear a panty liner at least two days before it's supposed to start... if the anxiety is bad (e.g. before a big flight or any event where i cant change undies) then i might even wear a whole ass pad a few days before it starts lol

lucky you that your period started before leaving your apartment HAKSDJKAS ive had experiences where im at lengthy dinner parties with no extra pads in my bag and just had to Suffer (hence why i wear dark pants most of the time... but have i started to bring pads in my bag? who can say...) but during my Squatting Incident™️, i was not close to my hotel so i was actually forced to Tough It Out for at least five more hours... it was pain, but i also got to buy an animal crossing cup for my troubles so i suppose it wasnt too bad... but the horrors... at least it didnt permanently stain my clothes 💀

i also do tend to pack a lot of pads when i travel around when my cycle starts because i do not trust international feminine products HKASDJKAS nothing against them but when youre at your lowest (i.e. your period), sometimes a little bit of home can help you a long way... I WILL SAY THO that my last period when i was in japan was unexpectedly stronger than usual... hence the whole squatting blood flood that triggered this entire conversation LMAO but yeah i ran out of pads and had to grab some from family mart... also i dont know japanese so i guess i grabbed the night time pads bc man those pads were like DIAPERS... covered my whole ass but it was thin enough that i didnt look like i was shitting my pants or smth lol

as for clothes... yes i do that thing too LMAOOO underwear is just touching WAY TOO MANY potentially disastrous areas that having extras is a necessity... i do admit though that in my past couple of travels, i have been packing more savvy than my usual anxious self... MINUS THE JAPAN TRIP BECAUSE AGAIN FOR SOME REASON I DECIDED TO PACK LIGHT??? so yeah i had to do my laundry once during the trip but that was my first time ever underpacking underwear (wow an assonance) and i had to google comprehensive steps on how to operate japanese washing machines because my social anxiety forbids me from Fumbling in Public because i think i'll be executed

     Ayato probably bought part of the airport tbh. Anyways moving on, lines at the airport would just disappear, he would have first class and top of the line additions onto your trips. You would just walk into the airport and everything would just be open for you. Even then you can’t control the customers who would complain to customer service about this but Ayato would handle it. He would literally give them a refund and kick  them out of the airport on the spot. Security would be very easy, so with that out of the way now you.ve arrived at the gate. I think he would let you shop around and buy snacks for the trip. finally the plane has arrived and now it’s just the wait. The plane trip would be quite nice counting the top of the line seats and service. If you happen to fall asleep I think Ayato would you rest on his should while he reads a book. He’s probably the type of guy to read books about marriage “for educational reasons.” It’s his version of school to figure out how to propose to you. 10/10 trip would do it again as many times as I could.

CHILDE-- ★

oh boy.  💀  Childe would get you guys kicked out of the airport. no doubt about it. The moment you step into the airport there’s a problem. I have a small headcannon the Fatui and the harbingers are a well known mafia in the modern au so I’m going to apply that here as well. Anyways, everybody’s going to be staring at you guys, maybe not at you directly mostly at childe. Then when you finally are about to check your bags they ask the standard questions with a questionable amount of hesitation. “.. A-any weapons, cigarettes, alcohol, or illegal products in any of the bags?” And this man has the audacity to say a simple “no” with a smirk on his face. THERE IS A LITERAL SWITCH BLADE AND A PISTOL IN THERE. Don’t worry he says it’s for “educational and safety purposes” calm down everybody. Security is even worse though, the alarm goes off on his bag so your heading over there after putting your shoes on and you just see multiple police walking towards Childe. At this point you just grab your bag(s) and watch from a distance. Sadly as usual he see’s this as a challenge and fights his way out of it. At least he has the money (hopefully not stolen money) to get you a private jet to your destination. But it’s not going to be comfortable having to talk childe out of having a healthy, safe, and legal airport trips from now on. but I doubt it will work, sorry reader.

DILUC-- ★

Going on a trip with Diluc is quite peaceful actually. He’s already has everything prepared and he has payed transportation to get you guys there already. I think he would probably handle most of the bags for you, and checking in would be quite nice as well. Security is the only issue as the lines are quite long sadly. But either way you take advantage of the time talking and bonding with each other. Thankfully no red flags are raised going through security unlike other (Cough Childe Cough). Diluc probably already has small snacks and treats for you to eat at the airport while you’re waiting. for some reason he wouldn’t want to buy anything from the food court because he believes it’s “unsanitary.” Once you get on the plane I think you and Diluc would take for a little bit until he rest his head on your shoulder and tries to fall asleep. Diluc hates turbulence, so he always tries to sleep though plane flights so he doesn’t have to deal with it. If he wakes up before it’s time to land he might talk to you or try to do paper work for the tavern on a plane. Come on Diluc you should be relaxing please.

VENTI-- ★

Venti hates airports. Not because of the long lines to check in your bag and get through security. Or waiting long dreadful hours in the airport because your flight was delayed. No, he hates them because he’s petty. In the modern au I believe Venti gets a job as a pilot, so if you tell Venti you’re packing for the airport he gets all grumpy. Venti would try to rush and get everything done as quick as possible so he can just get the flight process over with. He probably gives disappointed looks to the employees out of full spite and jealousy. Once you make it to your gate, Venti going to quickly try to fine a food court to get some snacks for the trip. He would definitely share one large pretzel with you, but you have to buy it. he claims it’s to make up for taking him here. once you finally get on the plane, Venti would talk to you and play little fun games while you there. but once you get in the sky he’s fast asleep. Maybe you get some peace and time to yourself on plane rides.

Xiao is also another person who hates airports. He doesn’t hate the actual airport himself, he just hates the people. It’s gets him frustrated having to be in a small place for up to many hours with so many people around you. He’s already grumpy the moment your driving there so I hope that’s a sign to you this might not be the best trip. I feel like he would scare other customer and employees? Not as much as Childe but enough for them to hurry up the process. Security takes longer though, with his appearance the guards are very hesitant to let him through. So you’re spending who knows how long at the security checkpoint waiting for Xiao. He would try to find somewhere to buy almond tofu from in the airport. He might use your credit card but at least he shares with you right? Once you make it on the plane, you’re going to have to ignore the passengers giving you both weird stares constantly. If you fall asleep at the plane he would literally just stare at you?? He feels as if he has nothing else to do so he either looks out the window or just stares at you. Fortunately, he finds a book he can read to distract himself for awhile. Lucky you, I guess.

ZHONGLI-- ★

Thankfully, you can actually have a normal flight with Zhongli. He’s the type of person who packs weeks in advance always thinking of any possibility that could happen. I believe he’s also somebody to buy first class in everything just for you guys to have a smooth flight to wherever you plan to go. Checking in your bags are fine and everything is below the weight limit as well. Security is very easy and everything just goes well in general. While he would let you buy things from the food court, he also hesitates like Diluc checking if everything is clean and sanitary. He would probably tell you stories from the past of modern Liyue if your flight was delayed. You might enjoy his stories but its the perfect thing to get you sleepy. Would bring you both to first class and let you rest upon his shoulder. Unlike Xiao he wont stare at you for to long, but he might stare at you once in a while. He’s mostly busy reading. He might fall asleep with you n the flight. At least he’ll wake you up once you arrive.

He hooks your trousers and panties, pulling both threadbare articles of clothing over your hips - where he attaches his mouth and leaves a quick yet nasty love bite - as he lifts your calves and rids your body of the offending garments.

kinda stopped daydreaming about interlagos 2021 since the new year is almost knocking at the door and this pandemic seems to be far from over. but let me talk about the effort and time (and obviously the money) needed for me to go there and then come back home...

I will need to take 4 flights total or 2 flights + 2 bus trips. going to the capital takes 7 hours by bus, which is long but I’ve grown used to it after doing this route many, many times back in 2017. you just need to take the midnight bus then fall asleep and you’ll wake up there. 

there are flights departing from here but uhhhh, do you know those small planes that are the most prominent to have crashes? yeah I’m not doing that, especially after being used to the long bus trips. also the price of 2 bus tickets combined is cheaper than one flight ticket.

arriving at the capital is awesome but I would still be 2700km (!!!) away from são paulo. a bus trip to there takes like 3 days. I experienced that once when I was a little child and trust me that’s definitely NOT the best idea. plus I would end up missing a lot of classes, I really can’t do that.

the flight lasts only 3 hours, which is great, but the tickets keep getting more expensive, especially with all the burocracy regarding luggage and stuff like that. I feel like that’s the biggest issue to me, since I’ll need to, you know, actually go back home and not stay there forever, so everything is a price you have to pay twice.

the f1 tickets are usually the biggest issues to most f1 fans here, because they’re expensive as fuck. I read somewhere that they’re converted from dollar, so jeez I don’t even wanna know how it’ll be in the future since the dollar price has skyrocketed here. you have to buy it months before the race, and there are many different sectors, the cheapest ones last year costed R$610 (roughly U$120). the most expensive sector is the paddock club that costed R$16600 last year (~U$3280), lmao.

in this case, I’m very lucky to be a student. I don’t think this is a thing outside brazil, and wikipedia tells me it’s not, but we have a right protected by law called “half-entry”. if you’re a student, you can issue a student card and with that you’re able to pay only half the price of certain concert/movie tickets and so on.

I haven’t even talked about stuff like hotel, food, taxi, etc. you might be asking, is all this money and effort put into a mere race weekend even worth it? well, everything is a case is of its own. I’ve been a f1 fan for 14 years, I’ve spent my entire life thinking if I would ever be able to experience a race weekend instead of watch it at home. I saw my current & former favourite drivers retire and that put this dream into a halt before I even turned 18. now that fernando is back, I need to actually do something and manage to go in 2021 or 2022.

I remember watching brazil 2016 (massa’s fake retirement home race, such a shame that I couldn’t go because it was a really iconic, chaotic wet race) with my parents and telling my mom how I was sad that I couldn’t be there. she told me I would be able to attend one day when I start working and have my own money, but I was so damn upset because I knew it would take forever (I was 15) and fernando wouldn’t be there anymore, so why would I go? I love this sport, but with the amount of money being spent I need a special reason.

(I talked about this - brazil 2016 - to a friend and ended up finding the messages years later, which is why it’s in detail 💀 but now I do remember it)
