Roevember Day #18: Comrades

"But first... I must deal with you. The question of who is mightier remains. Come, adventurers! Let us find the answer together!"

...I don't think I've ever been more terrified. What even just happened with Lahabrea, with Hydaelyn? And now it's down to this monstrosity, this superweapon, versus...us.

We're in this together. The three of us, all blessed by Hydaelyn, thrown together under inauspicious circumstance, unable to stand each other, yet capable of slaying gods when we bother to stop arguing. These comrades... are not who I would've chosen.

I can't imagine who else I would have chosen, who else I'd prefer to have at my side in this moment.
