#knitting #crochet #this was literlly me on my way to work yesterday #except the other way round #i was crocheting while talking to some coworkers who called it knitting #so i started explaining the difference #how crochet uses a single hooked needle (in the language we speak it is literally called “hooking” so it made sense to explain it that way)#and knitting uses two needles. to demonstrate i took out my knitting wip i also had on me and immediatley realised my mistake #my current wip is knit in the round using 6 needles #so needles to say it didn't do a great job at illustraiting my explanation
