I hate that pov indie is a genre. It's just indie. Spotify wrapped got me fucked up
#and so much of what they're saying is pov indie isn't even pov indie#like??? its meant to be actual indie#like individual artists#but they've just put all indie ish music together#I was told that the reason its pov is because from the artists point of view they're indie#because either they don't have a label or their label doesn't heavily influence their sound#but that's so fucking dumb#is anything that sounds mildly different that pop suddenly pov indie#thats so fucking dumb#like? are you really gonna tell me that mother mother kikuou peachpit mxmtoon and grlwood are all the same genre??#and that's me pulling straight from a playlist for pov indie that spotify made for me#and jvke is on here too? that's pop tf are they on about?#like yeah it has real instruments but if I've heard it playing over a store radio then it's pop#and stressed out#like???? seriously?#idk im just annoyed#the genre doesn't make sense#spotify#spotify wrapped#wrapped
