I know they don’t exist.”  “How can you be so sure?”  “Because it’s never the dead that haunt you, is it? It’s always the living who have unfinished business and it’s not, like, Frankenstein or whatever that makes you feel like there’s something waiting to strike in the shadows. It’s the past. People aren’t scared of ghosts. They’re scared of memories.”
