Agatha All Along is really scratching an itch in Television right now and even in its own camp it feels like it's breaking ground. It's a Marvel show but they're using practical effects and not relying heavily on CGI. The set designs and props are fantastic and immersive. There is a musical element but it isn't a musical (but there is Patti Lupone!). Kathryn Hahn is infectiously charming and her physicality in this role is almost TOO natural - her witchy mannerisms feel so authentic. It's queer. It's chaos. It's witches being witches and one potentially lethal fruity Teen committing multiple crimes (breaking and entering, blackmailing, probably perjury, etc.). It's a comedy but it's also a horror movie. This show feels like a genuine treat after a year of generally disappointing television - a palate cleanser for media - I can't wait to see how it wraps up and I'm so glad it's a week-by-week release. All of these actors are delivering in show and as cast members, their press junket has been nothing shy of delightful. The chemistry is really palpable with this group and of course Jac Schaeffer being so invested in this project really shines through on and off screen. I couldn't be more excited for the rest of this series, I need it to sweep because costume design and set design are already leagues above what I've seen this year from other series. The music is perfection and the Lopez's need their flowers NOW. It really is a show that is reveling in what it is and that's magic.

This is Rio Vidal aka Lady Death who's quietly checking on her wife. Like everyone was focus on Alice and worried about Teen but not Rio. Who actually should bc someone just died and she's going to have to collect her body/soul to take her to the other side.

And what is she doing? She was only looking at Agatha and checking on her as good as she could in that moment. Because she knew Agatha probably won't let her and she had to do her job afterwards so there won't be time for it.

The Wandavision finale had 1.4 millon viewers, loki season 1 finale had 1.9mil & got a season 2. Variety just reported AAA finale had 4.6 million up 10% from episode 7. The ballad of the witches road debuted #22 on the billboard hot 100 charts and is definitely coming for that Grammy nomination. Agatha's impact and reach is so real. Marvel we needed that season two announcement like yesterday stop playing with us.

i love nonlinear storytelling i love billy having complicated feelings about being wanda’s son and rebecca’s son i love agatha trying so so hard to pretend she doesn’t care about him and still teaching him every step of the way i love lilia being constantly out of step with time and her warnings falling on deaf ears because they’re either too early or too late i love how everyone has been a tarot card the whole time i love how i knew about the death reveal and it still gagged me i love overt jokes about queer sexuality in marvel i love this show!! i will admit i was prepared to be a hater after all the dogshit marvel has put out recently but i am so obsessed!! give jac schaeffer the keys to the kingdom never let a male writer touch mcu wanda again god bless agatha all along and wandavision for being the light in the long dark tunnel that is the post endgame mcu!!

It's so brilliant and devastating and brilliant that when Agatha asks "how much time?" she gets no answer because such is life you never know how much time you have with someone and when Alice dies even though her death was heroic she's not all zen and accepting she's angry at how little time she was given because it is tragic and it's life and it sucks even if it makes sense and when Lilia talks to her maestra about their deaths she doesn't let her panic she only asks her "what will you do with the time you have left?" because death does come for us all you can panic you can run but the only thing you can control is what you do until then Jac Schaeffer is so good at exploring grief and the cycle of life and death I'm so glad she was the one to introduce Lady Death to the mcu because she was the only one who could have done her justice
