#saw someone on there call scabbing a necessary evil#bc it means that soaps won't get cancelled??? and it will mean the union writers will still have jobs to come back to????#like. its specifically about soaps. i need to be clear this isn't me going 'oh boohoo ur trash tv has to pause' SHE MADE IT ABOUT SOAPS#and i'm like. why do you trust the studio execs not to keep the scab writers full time. and she's like. bc the scabs wont know the plot#she's like. nobody wants these writers to stay. there's a huge risk that it'll be terrible and contradictory#BESTIE!!!
