#it's a little funny how mad it gets me considering it's just a let's play#but ehh i'm watching this let's play of the game detroit become human while i'm transferring my media onto a disc#the game is basically about a world with androids looking exactly like humans being sold and used etc etc#and they begin to develop feelings and fight for rights#and as the player ur making decisions on how to protest: violent or peaceful#this is the second let's player i'm watching it from both being white german men#and both keep and kept repeating how violence is never the answer and one of them was like i was raised a pacifist and#found my way around the world fine with it#and it makes me irrationally angry everytime bc theyre so obviously speaking from a place of privilege and NOT realizing it#it's just a game but then again shit like this happens in real life (people fighting for rights)#and it's always people who've never been oppressed critisizing violent protesting and shit ircks me#nesi rants
