#rewatched separate tides for eh. potential gifset related business#and it's a joy how evil and queercoded hunter is at the beginning#and honestly by now i've been thinking about how much hunter looks up to darius and just how organic that is#since hunter knows darius was the closest figure to the previous golden guards#like hunter has mad daddy issues obviously and darius is just another part of it#and seeing darius' behavior in eda's requiem... for the first time ever it just clicked#that hunter's sassy demeanor in ST is just him trying to replicate darius. whether it's intentional or not (most likely not)#which honestly closes all my thoughts about the winter soldierification of hunter. i've decided canon is Good in this aspect#but also there's the fact that darius' queerness is an aspect looked up and replicated by hunter. even taking into account how much respect-#-he has for belos#and i keep thinking how luz leans on the butchier side and you got me kicking my feet in the air <3 lunter real#i say this all the time but whoever says lunter is heteronormative. i hope you get well soon <3#bi4bi couples are the future
