talking to my dad last night abt how botw/totk has so much potential but will always be excluded from interacting with the player in any meaningful way bc shes always relegated to cutscenes only. totk prologue i miss you

#i also just feel iffy abt her in age of calamity. dgmw i think her playstyles r unique and for her #but shes the only character that permenantly changes her neutral expression #and i dont feel its for the better! as soons as u unlock her 2nd playstyle her facial expression is no longer. Her. if that makes sense #and just in general as im playing totk. zelda could have had so much potential irt story and gameplay given her scientific background #and it only crumbles more when scientific research feels like the forefront of totk's world. and shes just not there!#not with purah! not with robbie! not with josha! not with impa! shes stuck with people she only knows from legend. idk #aonuma lit only knows how to write 2d characters. and it sucks.
