Additional info and job hunting frustrations, bc I'm just gonna try and keep them today all to this post via reblogs

This same job has an otherwise potentially perfect job description. Which I would love to believe is true.

However. They also (paraphrasing here) make clear that you essentially aren't considered eligible for raises by them until you've worked there for 2-3 years. For a part time clinic med records job.

I've also been trying to field off the companies that do ABA bullshit, by simply responding to their messages on Indeed (probably too honestly and openly but they piss me just by existing, and I have no other power in this job hunting equation so. taking it where I can get it) with some variation of:

'Thank you for reaching out! I really appreciate you considering me for this position. However, as an individual on the spectrum, I do not participate in nor would I ever seek work with a company of your kind. I wish you the best of luck in your continued search!'

They key here is that I'm not applying to these positions, they're just finding my searchable Indeed resume (necessary or I don't think I'd be getting any hits at all tbh) and then sliding into my messages with this bs. I know they can't know I'm autistic, but it feels so presumptive of them to send messages like this at all; not even the form messages Indeed writes for them, but actual, clearly written by a real human requests for another copy of my resume/a cover letter/anyone's first born children that I have laying around that they'd be willing to give up to get me a new job/etc.

Like. Maybe a few other companies have done this with such. shitty 'I just KNOW you're dying to work for us, so we've given you so much grace and kindness by reaching out to offer you maybe a chance to interview if we still like you after rereading your resume :) Aren't you grateful? Will you bark for us? Go on, bark! Beg! Beg for your 15/hr that won't keep up with the cost of living. DO IT.' sort of messages. But goddamn do the ABA companies/clinics feel like the boldest out of them.

No responses from the past few jobs I've applied to (one of which was a really lovely part time reception gig that tbh I really really wanted, but I'm guessing since they're a smaller more local business they found someone they know through staff and were never intending to hire outside of their main network) but! In between typing this annoyingly long post (kudos and sorry if you read this far, I'll try not to have too many updates to this post as I keep scrolling Indeed) I found a credit union job that I initially thought was terrible bc:

-responsible for opening and closing it, balancing all teller stations, sorting mail, sending out all reports to relevant industries re: credit union business including receipts, main phone system team member (I assume means one of the only ones answering the phone, teller task/services including all acct types and offered services, cross train in other depts, clean, and refill/remake all pamphlets

Until. I saw the hours, and realised that for the hours they're open (usually 9-5 or 10-5 w/no weekends!) this really isn't anything worse than I did for my old eye clinic job.

They really wanted someone w/financial institution experience, but I'm crossing my fingers my old clinic experience might cross over in an appealing way for them.

I need to record the stupidest requirement I've just seen for an OD tech position:

required military service, so that you 'know how to keep an office clean'

That's insulting to multiple groups of people; it would be funny if it wasn't infuriating

PSA RE: The Tutu I’m portraying

I’m gonna start off by saying that i’m not blaming/vagueing/etc. anybody in this post AT ALL even tho maybe it might seem like it!! I am autistic and thus Bad at Words sometimes, and this is probably gonna be one of those times!! But through no-one’s fault but my own for not providing enough information, it looks like some ppl are a little confused as to who exactly i’m writing here!!

In the anime Princess Tutu, the main character, Ahiru and/or Duck, turns into Princess Tutu via the use of a magic pendant, and is probably the character you’re thinking of when you first see my blog, which is understandable because the entire anime is about Ahiru and Ahiru-as-Tutu (it also probably doesn’t help that all my icons are Ahiru-as-Tutu except with pink hair and sometimes wings drawn over the arms lel;;) but Ahiru is not the Princess Tutu. 

(she might be actually or maybe not?? it might be a sailor moon reincarnation situation or like a yu-gi-oh pharaoh/yugi situation or a possession situation or any NUMBER of different situations but nobody’s really sure and everybody in the fandom has their own opinions/ideas so¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

There is also a Princess Tutu in the storybook The Prince & The Raven, which Mytho and the Monster Raven came out of and whose events precede the anime by?? what is probably a long time?? At least long enough for Fakir and Rue to grow into young teenagers- who is described as (and i’m paraphrasing here) “a princess blessed with beauty, cleverness and strength who confesses her love to the prince, turns into a speck of light and vanishes”. 

I am roleplaying as that one- the one who turned into light and, as I personally headcanon, was absorbed into Mytho’s heart shard of hope directly before, during, or after the act of shattering it. (I haven’t decided yet.) Even though I love her to death, Ahiru is not the muse of this blog and will not be present unless I am interacting directly with an Ahiru roleplayer. 

Basically, my Tutu is an entirely different person!!

Differences between Ahiru and my Tutu to keep in mind:

-Ahiru’s motif (when she’s not Ahiru-as-Tutu) is a duck; Tutu’s is a swan.

-Ahiru has a fully human form and a fully duck form that she can switch back and forth between; my Tutu is unfortunately stuck with one (unless in my spirit verse or some other experimental AUs i’m kicking around, like a basic Swan Lake-ish verse or a Ladyhawke-esque plot). 

-Tutu cannot pass as fully human- instead of arms, she has swan wings with weird little hands on the ends, like a harpy or a feathered dinosaur. She cannot fly with these since they’re too small and she lacks the proper bone structure or musculature.

-Unless she’s performing, practicing or in my spirit verse, my Tutu is usually not wearing an actual tutu. (Check my wardrobe tag for a sort of basic idea!!)

-My Tutu does not possess a pendant or other item of jewelry that grants her her powers- she just has them. (unless i can find some way to utilize the pendant motif in an au/plot; i.e. in a Treasure Planet-esque/crossover I’ve been working out, she has a pendant that is actually a space map to lead her to her father; or possibly a Steven Universe gem au, for example.)

-She is an actual princess- blood royal and all that. Her mother was queen of the island of Schwanensee, and her father is a spirit called the Swan King (the validity of that title is debatable, but it definitely counts on her mother’s side). 

Aaaand I think that’s pretty much it!! I know that my interpretation is SUPER specific, but I have lots of verses to make interaction easier, and am always open to plotting!! 

If you’ve read this, can you do me a favor and like the post?? It’s not that I’m being picky or anything- it’s just that for both my rp partner’s and my comfort and enjoyment, I would like to avoid confusion about this.
