#So many little Barcus and Ilztaun post-game headcanons.#The thoughts have been coming since hanging around his desk in moonrise#sure Ilz is/was/is an apothacary he's not entirely useless considering they both similarly hav ehats on hats#and he certainly has had a habit of forming little bonds with others from the Underdark on the surface in general#and ironhand gnomes woldn't be allies he'd drop any time soon even if they didn't stay friends...probably go on little not quite adventures#into the underdark to get materials for their respective projects and somewhat just have a normal friendship in most ways#Even doing that he offers to come along because he thinks he'd make good company not manuvering allies for later or asked for protection#....it's nice...#(The ironhand gnomes do however end up being the first solid allies with the new knights of the sheild#to truly start developing influence and control again...A useful friend but a friend first :3)
