#staying in my parents little guest room#remembering the last time i stayed here when i came out of sheer desperation over the summer#because things were so chaotic with Him that we decided we needed time apart#and i spent four days here crying and ruminating and begging the universe to fix whatever was going on with him#and now i'm here and it's cozy and safe and the pit of dread i always had about being away from him is gone#and i spent an evening laughing and reconnecting with my family#a family he was never gonna ever even try to get close to#or even meet#and i'm reading a weird sexy romance book because romance media doesnt make me#cataclysmically anxious and sad anymore#idk im a broken record here but. the loss was ultimately so so what needed to happen#and i keep being stunned into stillness by how good my life is#and today it's officially 4 months which feels so crazy short#thank u to everyone reading my breakup diaries
