judith has always had such an awful, fraught relationship with connor and jeremiah is her golden child, yet jeremiah has been a man to her since he was like fifteen where connor will always be a boy. they should all go to therapy probably

#i have this very ambitious judith post i've always wanted to do but it's beyond my current skillset. sad!#i was on a walk thinking about how Blaming The Mother™ is a minor theme of blood sports with all these violent men #and i was like you know judith would actually flinch at connor being called a man. she just doesn't think of him that way #even at his first trial (where she refused to speak for or against him) or his second trial (where she was not asked)#even though she's thought he was a monster since he was a child. lot to unpack with her #blood sports #judith #connor #jeremiah
