I am so close to writing a second part to that fic. I have like two drafts of it going with @f1-birb. I just need to sit down and actually write it 👀

In that fic, when Lando is found with the ropes and the marks on his wrists and it's Max who sees him first, it definitely shifts their dynamic because Max never wants to hurt Lando and even when they engage in rough play and bandage, they have so many checks and they always discuss it beforehand.

Max is the only one Lando has ever let tie him down or gag him or blindfold him. It's something he feels safe doing with Max, and something they're both interested in. He trusts Max with him being submissive and vulnerable and knows (like with all his partners) Max would never hurt him or cross his boundaries.

And when he shows up like that, they're both shaken.

Lando doesn't really want any type of sexual touch for a while after that. He's still wrapping his head around it. He's dealing with it in therapy, and he's learning slowly to differentiate between good touches and bad touches again because the first time he tried to do something a little sexual with a partner, he froze and panicked and couldn't tell who was touching him.

Even when he gets better, he notices that Max hangs back. Their time together is more cuddling and soft making out and more frottage than sex and while Lando likes that, he's worried he's fucked up and eventually asks Max about it.

"I don't want to remind you of Him" is all Max manages to get out before Lando would be hugging him tight and planting himself in Max's lap because he knew Max was struggling with seeing Lando like that, but he hadn't realised Max was scared Lando would see him differently.

There would be a lot of talking and measuring each other. Lots of Lando promising that this hasn't changed anything about how he sees Max or feels about him because Max would never have done that to him. He knows that like he knows his own body.

It would still take a while before Max and Lando were comfortable doing anything with restraints again. Max even hesitates to pin Lando down when they eventually start having sex again but they make it fun. Lots of teasing words and soft kisses and colour checks and sweet kisses.

Max definetly gets rid of the rope he had and used before. He can't stand the sight of it after seeing Lando so distressed and hurt and he doesn't want something that's meant to be about trust tinged with bad memories so I can see him moving to something different.

The first time he breaks out the padded fluffy handcuffs, Lando laughs so hard he cries but he also smothers Max in kisses because he knows why he has those and he's reminded again of how much his boys love him and care for him.

After that, I can see them using a mix of silks and soft items and maybe padded cuffs that Lando can let himself out of if he wants. It's trail and error, and takes a long time to get back to that space but Max and Lando get there eventually with lots of talking and reassurances from both sides 🥹

astarion has taken a year or four off from school at this point. i hinted at substance abuse being the main reason that it's taken him so long to graduate from the law program? when he was the same age as his classmates, i think he partied A Lot and ended up having to retake some classes during his undergrad. i think i landed on coke being his chosen vice? idk it's vague for a reason. he's trying to get his life back on track

wyll and gale share an office space.

now here's what i left on the cutting room floor:

astarion is Still older than wyll, but not by more than six years

mizora is head of the english department. wyll has to play nice bc he's waiting to defend his dissertation and she'll be on the panel. she uses this to push her work or responsibilities onto wyll

lae'zel is doing her doctorate in anthropology/paleoanthropology. she's researching ancient war strategies and how social norms impacted them.

minthara is lae'zel's advisor because they'd have a Great dynamic. she specializes in biological anthropology. she can ball park which century any given human skull comes from.

shadowheart is working on her doctorate of psychology and specifically writing her dissertation profiling the susceptibility of cult victims mixed with religious studies to compile information about modern worship

minsc is literally just a coach. he does not teach Any classes and hangs out with the university's mascot Constantly. he coaches rugby and crew in the summer, basketball in the winter.

gale is a double discipline professor for history and cultural anthropology. So Close to getting tenure. his rate my professor score is mid as hell bc students either love or hate him because boy does this man drone onnnnnnnnnn

Seriously tho, one of the few ships i have on this blog xDD but omg i love it so much. And of course have lots of thoughts about it!!

As for whether she's canon to the games or just the movie, i would honestly love to incorporate her into my hcs for my game verse somehow! At the moment though i've only thought about her in the movie context. Though now that you mention it... 👀 i'm getting images of her in the game verse, and i gotta say, i love it LOL. If that somehow develops more on this blog, i would be so up to developing it with someone! But for now i'll gush about my thoughts on her in the movie verse!!

But yeah lmao, my ideas xD— So these two were total nerds and partners together for the longest time. She's like one of the only people Nef's felt he could actually open up to. He has a very hard time making friends lmaao (omg what a surprise, right)—but she was always someone that he felt he could talk to. Which was so nice! I have HCs that he was basically a lonely nerd most of his life until he met her LOL. Also idk why, but I have this image of them meeting when they were in like university and studying together or something, and actually hitting it off well, and finding they had a lot in common! And got along!

Then they got hired together into the rangers and were both still total nerds, and they'd just hang out in their tiny lil office together all day long and work on things. And share ideas lmao! They appreciated each other, and had the same hobbies, and i can so picture them meeting up outside of work, just to have gaming sessions or like this D&D campaign that they've had going for years or something LMAO! They were best friends, and he was totally crushing on her super hard 😭 he's never told her his true feelings, and I HC he still has that crush even to this day (though it's a lot more complicated now). He still wishes that he could somehow bring her to his side, and feels like her talents are wasted with the rangers. He feels that he would appreciate her far more than they ever would.

Of course those are just his own beliefs, but he's convinced lol

Their split to different paths happened slowly while they were both working for the Rangers 😭 Nef began to snap because he cared too much about getting recognition and respect (and hated that Qwark took credit for things Elaris and him created, again and again lmao, which kicked off his whole grudge against Qwark in this verse). But unlike Nef, Elaris didn't mind working in the background and not getting credit (or like, even acknowledgement tbh, if the way she's treated in the movie is any indication)—not that they were intentionally malevolent, they just didn't think to acknowledge her contributions often lolol. But they do genuinely like her!

But yeah, i hc that they worked together for years 👀 She was nef's closest and only real friend, and he was (and still is honestly) in love with her.

And now they're enemies 😭

And oop—that's not even mentioning the whole 'is a robot' thing now, bc that's a whole other can o' worms LOL. ☆ 𝐂𝐡𝐥𝐨𝐞 - This mf. She's always been interested in piercings, just not sure which ones she'd get. Then she met you, first she seen your tongue piercing. You had a sparkly colored one in and it caught her eye. Yes, she asks questions because she's genuinely interested. And of course you answer them.

She loves when you stick your tongue out in photos. Or in general, she'll buy those cool looking toppers for it. Like those fake pill ones and anarchy symbols. Your favorite is the melting smiley face one, it just looks cool.

Now the nipple piercings, she seen them when you were changing in front of her. No shame between you two, and she nearly dropped dead at the sight. Not sure whether to jump your bones or ask questions. Does a bit of both. Loves when you wear tight shirts so you can see them. And when they're her shirts, she stops functioning.

It's probably one of the multiple times you've seen Chole genuinely get flustered. You're one of the only people that have that affect on her.

Onto the spicier of the two, nipple piercings. Seen the indents through your shirt and teased about it. But was genuinely interested in them. You felt comfortable enough to show, and she thinks they're so cool. Likes buying you different ones.

She's just in awe honestly, thinks they're pretty cool even if she wouldn't get them. She thinks you're fucking awesome in general. And a trooper for getting those as she'd be freaked.

☆ 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 - He actually went with you to get your tongue pierced since you two had been friends for a while. What he didn't know is that you had *other* piercings. He'll even pick out a few toppers for you and pay for them himself. And he'll deny that he actually he actually cares because he's Nathan.

He likes when you match it to your outfits. Or when you stick your tongue out at him and he sees it. Now that gets him going.

Then one day you were talking to someone about your piercings. And you mentioned your nipple piercings and he just O_O like he for real did not think he was hearing right. Then he asks you why you didn't tell him and you just say it's because you never thought about it.

Definetely keeps a few photos in his private portfolio of you. He'll also buy you different ones and loves when you wear tight shirts that show them off. And when their his, he absolutely loses it.

☆ 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐞 - She's very innocent when it comes to those things. Never in her life would she get a piercing, maybe her ears if she's talked into it enough. She doesn't like pain, so when she sees your tongue piercing holy mother. She asks if it hurt, it's the first question that she asks. And then she'll ask if it still hurts.

She's very taken aback when you begin moving it by moving your tongue. And you'll of course answer her questions about it because it's honestly adorably how she gets when asking. Then she realized you don't care what questions she asks, because you answer.

She likes when you wear ones that are simple, or the one that you specifically got because of her that was shaped like a cat head. When Kate seen it she literally smiled so big, it was so cute, especially when you said it reminded you of her, she nearly turned into a tomato.

Now she accidentally seen your nipple piercings when your dorm room door was locked and you forgot your keys. And your keys were at a friends how, and judging by the storm outside, you weren't about to walk across town to get them.

Your shirt had gotten soaked so Kate was sweet enough to let you borrow one of her big sweaters she didn't wear often. It was like a blanket on her because it was too big. So you change and what you didn't realize is she seen the piercings, on accident of course she wasn't meaning to look.

You could just tell, and so you ask her if she wants to ask you anything. That you didn't mind answering them. And she does, just if they hurt or when you got them. She gets very flustered. It doesn't stay on topic for long because she blushes and stutters so hard that you change the subject to get her to calm down.

•Knowing that Roach was freshly out selection, he has a tendency to be a bit fidgety. He wants to do his best and for his team to see that he’s trying, which they do. Which is also one of the many reasons soap took him under his wing, besides realizing how much roach was like his unger self when he was picked for the task force

•Isn’t much of a talker. He’ll try to chip in and give ideas which are always brilliant to ghosts and soaps opinion. They honestly wish Roach would talk more considering he’s always on top of things and thinks easier and less complicated

•Gary isn’t really the best when it comes to people he’s interested in. He’s a ball of anxiety toward somebody who he finds beautiful and is just a fumbling mess around them. He doesn’t want to seem skittish to them and would rather try to be the cool, calm, and collected person he is

•He tends to clear his throat a bit or maybe even scratch the back of his neck because of how worried he is of messing up. He just wants you to like him for who he is

•Although he isn’t deprived of touch, being away from his s/o does make him feel lonely and wish that they were snuggled up next to him rather than lay alone where the other side of the bed is empty
