just saw the whole finale, thoughts: 

First things first: CONGRATULATIONS A&E on not screwing over all the main ships and leaving it pretty much open ended. much appreciated, muchachos. 

truth be told, i’ve lost my appetite for OUAT, and haven’t watched full episodes since 6x13, with the exception of the musical and the finale. the musical, as plotless as it was beautiful because the only true consequence of it was the wedding, which made me twenty shades of happy. this finale however, was bittersweet. 

things that stood out / me going huh howwwww: 

that absolute heartstopping moment when you’re yelling at emma to NOT burn the book, to believe in henry and whack Fiona with the damn book and run. (JMo and Jamie really sold that scene, I was shooketh)

Henry going to the edge of the water with the mirror for Drama (stilstkin boys are so extra is2g). in fact WHY ARE YOU WALKING AROUND WITH YOUR SWORD OUT, BOY

um how is emma still keeping her apartment AND job in boston? tbh, that’s the real magic this episode. 

henry and his true believer status. its hard to reconnect how a boy he grew up so loved and so staunch in his belief will grow into jaded adult!henry.  oh right he’s been memory wiped good lord how is everyone on this show still functioning

the little girl (Lucy) is so cute, but if her mom is white i’ll cut a bitch. on the other hand, im totally here for mom as Moana. 

the timeline on this show is well and truly fuCkEd. its impossible for only 2 years to have passed, jared’s growth not withstanding. i would LOVE for someone to actually sort out the clusterfuck that is the timeline.

how in the seven hells did they transport so many people?

why can regina just POOF everyone back from the Hat Foyer to her castle?

the EQ ‘stopping’ the crumbling makes no sense, since if things were dissolving, its like shinning light into a black hole, but whatever

I had to bite my fist when Emma goes up on the dais and remembers Killian and her wedding

for a finale episode, there wasn’t a cohesiveness of motion from the characters. their storylines barely intertwined

also dont get me wrong i totally awwww-ed and got the feels when BatB started playing because FEELS, but it felt really cheap to me because there is so much unresolved nonsense there, like dudes, my dudes, it you had spent at least FIVE FREAKING MINUTES of rumple truly repenting for all the times he has manipulated, hurt, and did noncon stuff to Belle, really giving up his powers etc, it would have felt real. i still got the feels, but i knew it was coz ya’ll just wanted to call it a day. sad.

TLK’s cant cure physical injuries what the fuck, david fell down the beanstalk, he is dying from hemorrhaging not a poisoned apple jfc i feel since it was the finale they didnt care about their own world building rules just wanted the aesthetic of it

Killian Jones calling Emma Swan his wife makes me weak in the knees

as a CS shipper, i was of course disappointed by their lack of screen time

i cannot believe this is the last time we see Emma Swan take center stage

please let Emma Swan-Jones be happy for 2kforever
