i just found out that my entire family has gone to the church's greek festival for the first time in many years. i'm a little sad to be missing out but also a little grateful because apparently my dad, who is irish catholic and divorced from my mom, is there at the same time which just sounds like so much drama. like my mom and dad don't get along, most of the church liked my dad better than my mom and she was the one that stayed in the community, not him, and approximately everyone hates my stepmom, who is presumably attending with my dad

#tbh i'd do anything for a good piece of tiropita or some kourabiedes rn so i'm honestly a little sad to be missing out #and i haven't spoken to my cousin or nouna since moving #and they're also at the festival #so honestly this is a massive L for me #i'm becoming less and less homesick as time goes on but i haven't found anywhere to get greek food #and i can't cook my favorites #so i always get them at the festival or at holiday dinners when my nouna cooks them for me #so #this is actually very sad :(#zip quips
