unpopular opinion but if you bring a bunch of food to work for a small celebration, you shouldn't scold coworkers who eat a little bit of it. at least write a fucking note that says it's for certain people before you go agro on folks

#supercasey ramblings #vent #venting #some of my coworkers brought in a ton of food for a going away party for two of our best employees #and i guess one girl uninvolved got into an argument with the girl in charge of it because she took food when she didn't bring any #which i personally think is fine. it's out in the open and there are no notes so i think people should be able to eat #especially because a lot of people can't always afford a lunch #but anyways i tried to mediate and now the lead girl is pissed at me because i encouraged people to eat #something i did right in front of her. to which she didn't object at any point #fml i hate the idea of excluding people especially when it comes to food #i was raised in a household where you fed everyone who visited. even plumbers and the like that were working on the house #if you don't want to share with everyone you need to voice it sooner/leave a note. not scold someone who ate because they were hungry
