Studying with Abby. SFW
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You missed your best gf, Abby flipping Anderson. Of course you wanted to hang out with her.. but she was studying.. whatever. she can multitask ..Right??
☆Reader is hyperactive/neurodivergent in ways (?), Abby can get annoyed and angry..., slight angst, petnames, FEM reader, comfort at end.☆
For the girls and the gays, Men leave! (please)
☆My awesome friend Ara gave me this idea so Ilysm! <3 ☆
CORRECT ME ON MY MISTAKES PLEASE!!!
Tumblr media
"Sit still.." *Abby would groan placing her thick fingers on your hips, nudging you down into her hips. "You can't sit on my lap anymore if you keep moving peach, 'tis too distracting.." Abby would rub her nose and temples annoyed, not at you fully of course but the way you kept moving against her hips alone.
-This was probably your 4th time shifting on Abby's lap in just these past 10 minutes.
"Oh c'mon...you're hard to sit on when you study over the desk ..can't we just go lay down..? Get comfy..?"
"How the hell will I study when I'm laying down y/n." She was upset, something she never was with you.
"wh-"
"Please.. just- go sit down..I'll join you in a bit? Please let me study baby girl." Abby asked with a sigh.
As much as it hurt you, you still obliged to her command and sat down on the couch in her room. Of course you couldn't focus without being next to Abby, it made you nervous. Just sitting away from her made you anxious, that's when everything was louder and 10x intensified. The urge to bite your nails, sweat, click your tongue, crack knuckles, whatever you could fidget with was much more impulsive than usual.
Right as you decided to check your phone's time or mindlessly scroll online, it died. of course... time to do that fucking walk of shame up to Abby (who was now upset with you) and ask her if you can play piano tiles, candy crush or whatever games she let you download on her phone.
Getting up from the couch your bunny slippers shuffled across her mahogany floors with that airy "pfft" sound when the ears flipped up with each step.
"A-Abby..?" Fuck.. of course your voice was falling out. You got so nervous when Abby acted like this, which rarely happens.
Abby's office chair didn't move, instead Abby just replied short.
"Hm? what do you need."
"Can.. can I borrow your phone.. for- for games...?"
As much as Abby wanted to be angry at everything your stammering made her laugh.
"Such an Ipad kid..sure sure.." She sighed again, giving you mixed signals.
Abby handed you her Iphone, Abby had those clear cases with a little polaroid of you and her on the back encased by the plastic.
You smiled softly and ran off back to the couch bundling up under the blankets. Your fingers tapping at the screen and small sounds or music emitted from under the blankets. "Sweet!" "Tasty.." "Delicious."
As much as you were lost in Abby's screen you didn't even notice her calling your name...
"Y/n? Honey turn it down." "Y/n please, I need to finish studying.."
It was too late once you did hear her though, Abby was already on her feet marching to your place on the couch. She had pulled the blanket off of your head and gave you a small annoyed hand gesture.
"You gonna turn it down or do I have to take it from you?"
Embarrassment flushed out your cheeks into a bright red. How could you not hear her..?? You felt so stupid.
"I-I'm sorry Abs.. I- I'll turn it down.. I-.." Why were you stuttering now..? You felt so weak and little as Abby stood over you.
Abby could notice your mind rattling as you overthought the whole situation growing frustrated.
"Hey..Hey it's okay..i didn't mean to hurt your feelings love.. I'm so sorry." Abby frowned and held out her arms to you for a big hug.
With slight hesitation you still accepted Abby's hug and stuffed your face deep into her shoulders, the smell of her pine soap and hair washes filled your nose as you hugged her tightly.
"I'm almost done. Can you wait another 10 minutes?" Abby reassured you she would cuddle and chill with you as much as you wanted after. "Alright. I'm right here okay? Just wait a few." How was Abby so good at making you feel better. ughhhhhhhhh
After hearing Abby's keyboard click and her pencil dragging over her notebook for what seemed like forever, she finally got out of her office chair and looked at you with the warmest smile ever.
Abby walked over to you and draped the blanket over the two of you.
“I’m sorry Y/N. Movie night..?”
Fuck yes.?!?! Movie nights with Abby were the best. But then she hit the..
“I picked last time- what do you want to watch Pumpkin?”
God..you wanted to pick your favorite ofcourse..The muppets. (100% best movies…) but..you felt so bad for pestering her while studying so you put one of her favorite boring War movies on.
“Really..? You want to watch that..?”
Abby was kinda shocked you picked one of her favorites, but how you described it was..
“The Micheal Bay Film with the guns..and war-“
Abby put it on and kissed your forehead pulling you into her to cuddles.
“C’mon..I’m sorry about earlier..I love you..yknow that.?”
You nod and smile softly just emerging into her warmth and into the blankets because you just needed to sleep everything off,so did Abby.
“I love you princess..”
“I love you too…Abby..”

favorite place
w.c: 1.2 fluff, friends to lovers
You were on the bus on your way to the university. You had studied all night for a very important exam you were about to take. The journey was long; you managed to doze off at times, but you were startled by the bus's movements and ended up waking up.
Arriving at the university, you thought about looking for Johnny, your best friend, but since you were late, you preferred to go directly to the classroom. The exam was about to start, and the professor asked everyone to turn off and put away their cell phones. You were about to do what was asked when you saw a message from Johnny.
"I know you're nervous, but try not to be too much! You did your best studying and, regardless of the result, don't be sad. Good luck :)"
You smiled and felt a warm feeling in your heart as you read the message. It was amazing how he could calm you in any situation, and that was one of the reasons you were even more in love with him. Yes, you had fallen into the cliché of falling in love with your best friend. You composed yourself to take the exam.
After leaving the exam, you were in the university courtyard, upset because the test hadn't gone so well, when you saw Johnny walking towards you. It was incredible how handsome he was. You just gave him a weak smile.
"Looks like the exam didn't go so well."
"My face says it all, doesn't it?" You couldn't hide very well when you were upset about something.
"A little bit." You gave an awkward laugh and at that moment, Johnny had an idea. He couldn't let his best friend be so sad. "Follow me."
"What? Don't you have more classes today?"
"I only have one more, but I won't leave you like this. I'm going to take you to a place I really like."
Some time later, you were already in Johnny's car. He hadn't told you where you were going, but he was the person you trusted the most and you were happy that your friend was doing something to distract you.
You could already see the beach and just turned to Johnny, who was smiling. "I told you I'd take you to a place I really like."
As you got out of the car, Johnny was already running across the sand with his arms open. As soon as you saw him running, you pulled out your phone and started recording some videos of him and then took a few photos. Noticing this, Johnny started posing for the photos, making you laugh sincerely. It was amazing how he had this power to make you happier without even realizing it.
After a while, Johnny helped you climb the rocks on the beach. It was a perfect place to watch the sun beginning to set.
"This is amazing!" you said, marveling at the scenery in front of you.
"Yeah. I always wanted to bring you here, but I think this is the right time. This is the place I come to when I want to think, cheer up or just do nothing. This place calms me down." You gave a small smile, happy that Johnny was sharing that with you. "Don't you have a place that calms you?"
You made a thoughtful face. You were still looking at the setting sun and just responded with what came to your mind. "Well, I don't have a place. The only thing that really calms me down is you." Johnny wasn't expecting that answer; he just looked at you, who were still gazing at the horizon. "You always find a way to make me smile or feel comfortable. It seems like you always know when I'm a bit messed up and say something that makes my day a thousand times better. Sometimes, you don't even need to say or do anything; just your eyes bring me an inexplicable peace. They are my favorite thing in the world." After a shy laugh, you looked to the side. You didn't imagine Johnny would be looking at you so intently and so closely. He took off his sunglasses to look into your eyes, reminding you how much you were in love with them and the man in front of you. In all those years of friendship, Johnny had never heard such beautiful things and that only confirmed what he had felt for a long time. You were about to look away and try to change the subject when you felt Johnny's lips on yours. It was a quick peck but enough for both of you to feel a pleasant warmth in your hearts.
Johnny pulled away to look at you and saw that you were still looking at him without showing any reaction. I shouldn't have done that! She will hate me. That was all he thought.
"I shouldn't have done that! It's just that... I don't know, I'm sorry-" This time, Johnny was the one surprised by your lips. And it wasn't a simple peck; it was a kiss full of complicity and with the feeling that it should have happened a long time ago. Everything fit and made sense for both of you, who were surprised by the chemistry you had.
The kiss ended, you still kept your eyes closed and your forehead touching Johnny's. You were afraid to open your eyes and find that it was all a dream and just said "Please, don't apologize or regret what just happened."
Johnny pulled away a little and your heart tightened for a second. "Please, look at me." Even with fear, you opened your eyes and saw Johnny smiling. He caressed your cheek. "How could I regret something I liked and wanted to do for so long?"
Night had fallen and you were already in the car heading home. You were looking out the window when you felt Johnny hold and caress your hand while driving. You smiled, which Johnny noticed, making him even happier. Finally, you arrived at the building where you lived. You didn't really know what to do or how to say goodbye. "Thank you for today. It was wonderful."
"It was the least I could do."
"So... I better go inside. Bye, John." When you made a move to get out of the car, Johnny held your hand and gave you a confused look.
"After everything that happened today, do you think you're just going to leave like that?"
You just smiled, understanding what he meant and simply joined your lips to his. As you kissed, Johnny smiled. He could swear he would burst with happiness for kissing the woman he loved so much. The air began to run out and you both separated.
"Will we get used to this?" you commented.
"Well... if you like me as much as I like you, I'm sure we will. But I think I need another kiss to confirm that."
You laughed, throwing your head back at what he had just said. "Here's the deal: let's go to my apartment, order something to eat, and if you finally agree to watch High School Musical with me, then I'll think about whether you deserve another kiss... maybe two or even three."
"High School Musical? I think I can make that effort for you." Johnny stole a quick kiss from you and got out of the car, leaving you with a goofy smile on your face and thinking about how happy you were to finally discover that your first love was reciprocated.

NSFW MINORS AND MEN DNI!!
w/c: 4k
Ellie was your roommate, one you weren’t fond of either, due to how she was always up past midnight screaming down her mic at her video games, and how she basically never left her room, and if she did, she bothered you when you tried to study.
Tonight was another night she was playing games, eventually taking a break she walked past your room, before smirking to herself and leaning against the doorway, ready to get on your nerves as always.
“Do you ever not study?” She asked with a teasing and mocking tone in her voice.
“Do you ever study?” You said annoyed.
“Nah” She was just leaning there smiling at you now as you studied. “You’re just a massive dork is all.”
“Thanks, not in the mood to be called names.” You said to Ellie, still looking at your study books. She just shrugged.
“Well I don’t really care if you’re in a good mood or not, you’re boring.” She said as she smiled as if she was proud of herself for her comeback.
“Whatever Ellie, go back to your game.”
She scoffs. “Why? Just to have you complain about the noise??” She said as she leaned against the door, crossing her arms under her chest.
“Just so I can be alone without you here distracting me.” You said really upset.
“How am I distracting? I’m not even doing anything” Ellie scoffed, as if she was in the right and you were just complaining for nothing.
“Fine, stay there then.” You were so out of patience and didn't have energy to deal with Ellie.
“Wow, how kind of you.” She sarcastically said as she stayed there just smiling and being a distraction at this point.
“Stop staring, I can feel your eyes on the back of my head.” You really couldn't concentrate on your studies right now. Ellie was really getting on your nerves.
“Maybe I’m just admiring how much of a dork you are.” She said in a mocking voice as she let her arms fall to her side. “You’re just an easy target.”
“Or maybe I'm just too gorgeous.” You said sarcastically as you didn't really think you were that beautiful.
“Pfft, not even close. You’re not bad looking, but I’d say the most attractive thing about you is the fact you keep yourself to yourself most of the time.” Ellie rolled her eyes as she said this, the sarcasm just reeked off her tone.
“At least i dont bother other people.” You now looked at Ellie with an annoyed face.
“I'm not that annoying…” Ellie frowned and spoke quietly.
“Okay, if you’re so innocent, how is it that I have to listen to your video game playing every night? Hmm? Do you think I’m enjoying the sound of an 11 year old screaming at their microphone? I'm the one that has to hear it, you idiot.” You scoffed as you were full of rage.
“I’m the idiot?? The only idiot here is you. “ Ellie said defensively.
“You’re the one playing those damn shooting games! Why not turn it down or wear headphones? Or do you enjoy the sound of children screaming down your mic?” By this point Ellie was in your face, her arms crossed under her chest as she made a frown.
“Ellie, I'm not in the mood, leave me be.”
“Okay, fine I'll leave.” Her voice and expression softened at the end, she was genuinely being serious now.
“Sure, bye.”
She got off your door then, now it only being 7:30pm. “But if I come back at 9 and you’re still playing I’m turning your console off myself.”  You said with a huff, as she was walking back to her own room. As soon as she reached her room she slammed her door shut, now alone in her room, she sighed and threw herself onto her bed.
“Real mature!” You almost shouted so she could hear you through the walls. For a few minutes Ellie layed there, now feeling a little bad. She wanted to say sorry, but her pride was too strong. Eventually it was too much so she got up and walked to your room and she knocked on the door softly.
“Uhm.. Hey, I came to say sorry for being a dick earlier.” She smiled awkwardly, not knowing what else to say.
“Oh, did you now? Took you a long time to figure that one out…” You said clearly very annoyed. Ellie rolled her eyes. “Shut up, come on I’m trying to apologize…”
“Make me shut up then!” You spat at her, frowning your face and stuck your tongue out mockingly.
“Ohhh I’m so tempted too” Ellie muttered under her breath before she shook her head, it seemed her pride was still not gone.  “Uhm, so are you going to accept my apology?” She asked with a genuine tone in her voice.
“Fine.” You said that so Ellie would go away and not interrupt your study session anymore.
And suddenly Ellie’s pride was out in full force again, she smirked at you not wanting to show she was actually happy the apology was accepted. “Is that it? Fine? Giving up so soon?” She asked as she raised her eyebrow.
“I don't want to argue with you, I'm tired and trying to study for my exam.” You really just wanted to be alone at this point. Ellie’s eyes widened for a moment before she just laughed. “Oh my god you had me worried you were still pissed off at me for a moment! Well, maybe that’s my ego getting the better of me.” Ellie shrugged but her tone was friendly now. “Well, good luck on your exams.” She said as she turned to walk back to her own room.
“Bye! Don't come back!” You said as she closed your bedroom door.
Then Ellie left, before turning back around to tease you again.
“Wait, hey, what’s your name?”
“Are you really asking me that? You really are an asshole. You forget things fast, or maybe you just don't actually care about anyone but yourself!.”
“No, I’m not an idiot. Of course I know your name, I just wanted to hear you say it.” Ellie said, embarrassed for not remembering your name. You have been roommates for a week now.
“What's my name then?” You asked, getting very angry.
Ellie was now visibly irritated. “My god, you’re so annoying all the time…” She took a deep breath. “Y/N, right?”
“Good job you little baby, it wasn't so hard was it?” You sighed very angry because of Ellie's forgetfulness, you couldn't believe this. “You really are the best roommate in the world.” You said sarcastically looking at Ellie.
“Wow, now who sounds like an 11 year old?” Ellie said as she rolled her eyes.
“You do.”
All Ellie could do was laugh at this. “Ohhhh, now who’s acting like a child?”
Then she just smirked.
“Still you Ellie.”
“Oh shut up” Ellie said, knowing the conversation has come to a stalemate now. “You really are just like a kid, go to your room.”
“Whatever! At least I don’t look like a 12 year old boy!” Ellie’s voice was now filled with annoyance as she said that, you had officially got under her skin.
“Excuse me? At least I'm not the one playing with 12 year olds” You said loudly, really offended by Ellie's words. Ellie just went silent, then eventually she groaned and shook her head.
“Oh god this is stupid. Fine, I'll go to my room okay?” She said as she walked away from your door.
“And stay there!” You shouted again through the walls.
Again, Ellie just groaned. Eventually she was in her room and shut the door behind her. Ellie was bored now that she wasn’t teasing you, she really liked getting under your skin.
“Finally, some peace…” You said to yourself. For a while now you had peace and quiet, but it was now 10:30pm, Ellie’s video game was going for a good couple of hours, and the noise wasn't going to stop, you knew Ellie would just keep doing it out of spite.
“For fucks sake!” You said to yourself as you were trying to go to sleep with all the shouting Ellie was doing. Soon, you could hear Ellie screaming down her mic in the other room. “Yeah! That's how it's done! That's how a pro wins!”
“Ellie shut the fuck up!”
“Make me!” She replied, and then you heard a bunch of screaming kids laughing.
“I'll punch you in the face with the kids hearing!”
“Okay fine” And just like that the screaming stopped, replaced by the sounds of footsteps from her room, heading to your door to knock on it again.
“What now? What could you possibly want from me? Let me sleep!”
“Uhm.. can I come in?” Ellie asked, her voice was quiet, she seemed serious now.
“Why? Are you scared of the dark?” You mocked Ellie.
“No.. I just. I wanna talk to you about something” Ellie was now standing there waiting for your permission. She was a bit nervous as she asked this.
“Fine, come in..” You said with an annoyed tone in your voice.  Ellie then walked into your room, closing the door once she was inside. “Can I sit down.. please?”
“Sure, why not?...” She saw your frustrated face but sat down on your bed anyway. “So I know we’re not.. like.. close or anything and you probably think I hate you or whatever.. but I genuinely wanted to tell you something.”
“What is it?” You said crossing your arms.  “It’s about why I’m always so mean to you..”
“Oh, why are you always so mean then?” You genuinely wanted to know the answer this time.
“I… I like you.” Ellie’s voice turned soft as she said that, the pride in her voice was completely gone. “I just don’t know how to show it properly..”  You freezed as you heard Ellie's words come out of her mouth. You expected a lot of excuses but this was not one of them. With how mean she treated you, you were really starting to get the impression that she hated you and you were starting to hate her. The past week was filled with mean and snarky comments everytime you got home or just got out of your room to get a simple glass of water.
“What do you mean you like me?” You asked, still not believing what she's just said. Ellie got really nervous and started to blush looking at her hands that she was fidgeting with. She didn't know what to say now. She just waited for your reaction.
“Ellie, what are you talking about?” You asked with a calmer and confused voice. “I thought you had a girlfriend.” You had seen her on campus with a girl almost all of the times you saw her during the day.
“No, me and her broke up a little while ago. I never told you?”
She said, it was true, you couldn’t have known about it because she never told you, she kept it to herself because of how she felt.
“No, you didn't tell me…” You were very confused right now. “I don't know what to say…” Ellie’s face turned to a frown now, then suddenly she started to get up. “Forget it, I shouldn’t have said anything.” She sounded sad now, like she wanted to cry.
“I just wasn't expecting this.” You said a bit seriously.
“No, I’m an idiot for even asking.” She said, then shook her head as if she was in denial of her feelings. “We should just carry on as we have been, maybe I can just forget about it.” Ellie then walked towards your door.
“Ellie!” You said as she closed the door to your room and went to her own not turning around. You were feeling a bit awkward now but it was late and you were tired. You had class in the morning so you ignored what happened just now and tried to sleep. “I'll talk to her tomorrow.” You said to yourself and laid back down and went to sleep.
In the other room Ellie was pacing back and forth as she couldn't believe what she just said. “I'm such an idiot… god…” She said to herself as she sat on her bed with her hands on her face and her elbows resting on her knees. She tried to shrug it away and got under the covers and tried to sleep. She wasn't very successful though. She stayed staring at the ceiling for a good while before finally falling asleep. She dreamt of you and all the things she should have said instead of being an asshole to you all this time. The truth is that she's very awkward at social interactions and didn't ever learn how to talk to people properly when she should've. The first time she saw you enter your dorm with your bags on your arms and hands, she thought you were beautiful and definitely out of her league. So she tried being a bit of a tease just to see you flustered and annoyed as she thought you looked the cutest like that.
You woke up at 8 am and got up and got ready for the day. As you left your room to have some breakfast you noticed that Ellie was nowhere to be seen and the door to her room was closed. You thought it was still too early to address the situation so you just ate your cereal and got out the door with your backpack and your books in hand. Ellie was awake and was waiting for the sound of the front door closing, meaning she was alone and didn't have to see you. She was very embarrassed by the previous night's events. As she heard the door close she was able to relax her body and let out a long sigh. She then got up still in her lounge wear, just a sleeveless shirt and gray sweatpants. Her hair was all messed up from just waking up and went to eat some breakfast. She saw that the door to your bedroom was slightly open and went inside. She looked around the room admiring all your decorations, pictures with friends and your sketches, and noticed one you had done of her face. It wasn't finished but her eyes went wide and started sparkling as she saw it. Maybe she had a chance if you thought she was worth drawing.
You got to class and sat on your usual seat listening to the professor. It was a bit boring but you liked your History classes. They calmed you down somehow. As if hearing about all of humanity's conquests and mistakes were a lullaby. As the class ended you got your things and came outside to sit on a bench and soak in some sunlight before your only other class for the day. You saw Ellie going into the building but she didn't seem to notice you. You were a bit relieved she didn't. You still didn't know what to make of things. Ellie was beautiful, there's no denying that. Taller than you and slender with gorgeous green eyes and the nicest smile you’ve ever seen. Her auburn hair was almost always in a half bun and it framed her face perfectly. She wasn't very feminine and obviously a lesbian, but her traces were soft and delicate. She had a tattoo on her right forearm and her hands were a bit calloused and her veins prominent. You had noticed she was muscular, she must attend a gym or something for sure, but it just made her more attractive.
Half an hour passed and it was time for your next class. As you entered the room you noticed Ellie in the last row. You didn't know you had classes together since she was not taking the same degree as yours but you tried to not look at her as if you never saw her in the first place. She only noticed you once you were sitting and with your back to her. She got a bit nervous for the rest of the class. As it ended she waited for you to leave first so she wouldn't bump into you. She was still very embarrassed, and wasn't ready to confront her feelings. She hated feeling so powerless.
Later that day you got home and went straight to your bedroom and closed the door. You were finally alone and could relax from your social anxiety. You sat on your bed and opened your pc. Maybe some youtube videos will help you calm down. That was what you hoped at least. Some time later you heard the front door open and heard laughs, one was Ellie's for sure, the other you didn't recognize, but definitely a girl.  You kept your attention on the sounds coming from outside your room, as they traveled to Ellie's room where the sounds from those damm games always came from. Suddenly the laughs stopped and you didn't know what was happening. Maybe Ellie brought a friend home for a study session or something but that didn't seem to be the case. A few minutes later you started hearing moans, at least it was what you thought. You couldn't be jealous because you and Ellie had nothing, but somehow you were filling up with rage at each moan the girl made. Ellie sure seemed to be having some fun. You on the other side not so much. You tried to put on your headphones and listen to music to muffle the noises but it didn't work as well as you thought it would. The two girls were getting louder by the minute. You couldn't hear those disgusting noises for one second more so you grabbed your phone and keys and bolted out of the front door and made sure to slam it so Ellie heard it.
Ellie had brought some girl that had a crush on her home, she wanted to forget what she said to you. Getting girls was never hard for her, she practically had them lining up for her, and this made her feel confident. Yes, Ellie was a bit of a playboy, her reputation on campus was almost legendary at this point. People even made bets on who would be the next girl Ellie would choose to fuck. She didn't think of herself like that though, she used this facade as a way to cope with how insecure she was about herself.
You went to the park to get some fresh air. It was getting a bit cold out and you got out of the house in such a hurry that you forgot to bring your jacket. Great. Just great. You headed to the library and picked up a random book to read as a form to pass the time. When you looked at the time it had passed 2 hours, it was 8 pm. You dicided to go back home as you figured they have had more than enough time to fuck all they wanted. When you were almost home, a girl passed by you from the direction of your place. She was pretty, you couldn't say she wasn't. As you opened the door you saw Ellie in the living room couch watching TV as if nothing happened. You walked past her without saying one word and went into your room. Ellie looked up at you as you passed in front of the tv. She then was met with what she hadn't thought for the past couple of hours: you. She immediately started looking remorseful. She got up and called your name as you closed the door. You locked the door, you didn't want to see or hear her. She knocked at your door a few seconds later.
“Hey?... You in there?...” She started. “Could we talk please…?” She blurted out but didn't really know what she was going to say if you opened the door. You just sat on the floor with your back against your bed and stayed quiet just listening to her. “Y/N?...” She called for you. “Please, can we talk about yesterday?” She pleaded. “I can hear you just fine. Talk from there if you really want to!” You said with a slight sad tone on your voice. “I’m sorry about earlier… I didn't know you were home..”  “You don't need to apologize, we have nothing, we’re just roommates.” You responded calmly. “Yes I do…” Ellie put her forehead to the door and closed her eyes. “I’m sorry you had to witness that.”
“Whatever Ellie.” You said, you were a bit annoyed this time. “Just leave me alone please.” Ellie didn't want to do that but she also didn't want to make things worse. “Okay…” She complied. “I'll be in my room if you need anything…” She said very sad and disappointed in herself. You didn't respond and she walked to her room and laid in her bed sad. You also got up from the floor and layed down on your bed . You were both feeling miserable. But you didn't talk to Ellie right now. You really didn't have the right to be mad at her but how could you not do that when she admitted her feelings for you and was nice for once?
You came out of your room and headed to the bathroom you and Ellie shared, to take a shower. It was messy because Ellie always left towels and her stuff everywhere. You ignored it and just got in the tub and let the hot water from the shower fall over you. You were crying, not sure why. You didn't have the right to be mad. You and her had nothing, you never even kissed each other. You just let the tears fall and mix with the water running down your body. You came out of the bathroom wrapped in your towel and were met with a very sad Ellie. You only looked at her for a few moments before going back to your room to get your pajamas on. Ellie followed you to your room. “Hey, please can we talk…?” Ellie said softly. “What do you want?” You asked dryly. “I want to get dressed if you don't mind closing the door.” You said signaling for Ellie to close the door. “Oh… Of course.. right…” She closed the door almost all the way, leaving just a sleether for her to peek in. She didn't want to be a perv but she couldn't help herself. She watched you get dressed as she couldn't take her eyes off of you and your body. You didn't notice though. When you finished she knocked on the door asking for permission to get in, “Hey… can i come in?...” You said nothing and Ellie got in anyway, closing the door behind her. You were now dressed in some comfy clothes, a t-shirt and some shorts. You didn't bother putting on a bra as you were planning on going to sleep anyway, so Ellie could make out your nipples and got a bit flustered but said nothing about it. “So… about earlier, I'm sorry. I wouldn't have done it if I knew you were home.” Ellie tried explaining. “Sure Ellie, sure you wouldn't. It's fine. Whatever…” You said unamused, looking at the auburn-haired girl. She was looking back at you with a sad look on her face. “Who was it anyway? Another new girlfriend?” You asked annoyed. “Hum, no.. She's just a friend…”   “I didnt know friends fucked.” You said sitting on your bed crossing your arms. “I guess it's my bad then.” Ellie was a bit flustered and ashamed now. “It won't happen again, I promise…” She said looking at the floor holding her arms behind her back. “Sure Ellie, I'm going to sleep now, good night.” You said getting into bed. “Oh.. Okay…Good night…” She said as she got out of your room and went into her own. She layed in her bed staring at the ceiling thinking of you, and ways to make things okay again. She couldn’t sleep that night. She was just feeling so guilty for making you sad.

i'd like to hang out with you for my whole life
Y/N was sure she was gonna lose her driving license the moment the police ran the plates based on how many accidents she'd almost gotten into and how many speeding limits she'd crossed, but it didn't matter. It didn't matter that she was gonna lose her license because she was also gonna lose her freedom as Y/N was very close to murdering the receptionist of the paediatrics department if she told her once more she couldn't tell her anything. She sighed angrily once more before continuing on to try and argue her soul about why she should know more about Sadie. What were all the years of debate club presidency if she couldn't argue with a receptionist?
      - What's going on? - Bucky came from the entry, joining Y/N and looking equally frazzled.
      - They won't tell us anything about Sadie. - Y/N pointed at the nurse in a way that reminded her of the way her mother used to argue with the baker whenever he tried to swindle her with stale bread.
      - What do you mean? - now he turned to the nurse and God bless her, because upsetting Bucky was not something someone should ever want. - She's our kid, since when do your staff keep us in the goddamn dark?
      - The doctor is still running some tests and when we have any news we'll let you know. As I've told your wife, please take a seat and we will let you know.
Bucky punched the desk a bit before grabbing Y/N and leading her towards the waiting area. Y/N crossed her arms, her gaze burning the receptionist as she wondered if when she was distracted she could steal and break her mug. Sadie is two, how come they're doing anything to her without talking to Bucky, the father, the parent. Bucky, himself, was shaking which stole her attention from the hellish receptionist.
      - Hey, what's going on? - she put her hand on his arm, hoping it would calm him down.
      - I don't like hospitals. - he looked up at the ceiling. - Reminds me of when they I lost my arm. I don't like it.
      - Uhm ... - she tried to distract him, looking around before she noticed Sadie's toy box. He'd brought the toy box. - Buck, is that Sadie's toy box?
      - Yes.
      - I said bring her cuddly toy not every single one she ever had. - how had he even managed to carry that so effortlessly? She'd once got her shirt stuck under it and it took her a while to get it off. It was a handmade wooden box Bucky had made for her with little flowers and her name carved in.
      - Well, Sadie sleeps with Bingo which is her favourite but what if she has a new favourite or her favourite needs a friend?
      - Point taken. - she shrugged. - You know, what's the point of me even studying and paying Columbia if they won't tell Columbia students anything?
      - I'm gonna make a call. Look after the toy box.
Y/N didn't like hospitals too much either, specially paediatrician aisles. It saddened herself and sometimes it gave her baby fever which was never good. Bucky yapped in the phone for a few seconds and as he was about to sit down, a doctor came through the doors and walked in their direction.
      - Sergeant Barnes. - he extended his hand to shake Bucky's. - I am so sorry, I didn't know you were here.
      - How's Sadie? We tried speaking to your receptionist but she wouldn't tell us anything.
      - I will absolutely check on your girl and I'll let you know. Give me five minutes.
The doctor left and Bucky sat down looking visibly upset once more. Y/N didn't know what to do or how to comfort him but she could distract him.
      - You could rule the world with your little phone there.
      - I know some people.
      - Honestly, can you call someone and make me pass my PhD?
      - Maybe I can sleep with Professor Anderson. - he said getting a chuckle out of Y/N for the first time since they fought. - She has a cute ass, I could do it.
      - She has a husband.
      - Married ladies, my favourite. - he joked before settling down, looking at the wall in front of him. - That's Doctor Tinsdale, he's on the board and he's ... Anna's dad.
      - Anna, your Anna?
      - Yeah. He doesn't know Anna's the mother. Not that it would matter anyway. - he shrugged. - Anna used to say she had a brother in New Haven she barely saw. Anyway, he can get information.
Y/N didn't say anything, instead leaning her head against his shoulder, her hand holding his until the doctor came back holding a medical board. Y/N got up, pulling Bucky up with her as he walked towards them.
      - So, the school guessed appendicitis and they were right. Because Sadie is so young and the risk of perforation is so high, we're wheeling her in for an appendectomy. You should be able to see her in an hour.
      - Can we see her before she goes into surgery?
      - She's already in surgery, Sergeant Barnes. Why don't you and your wife go and get some food and some coffee? I promise you, I'll tell you the second she's out of the block. She's with our best surgeons, she will be taken care of until you can see her.
Y/N nodded still holding Bucky's hand. At least the school had taken action and Sadie was going to be fine and see the two of them when she woke up. Until then, Y/N and Bucky were stuck with lovingly awful hospital cafeteria food. It was some kind of stew served with a bowl of carrot and squash soup. The two sat down in a table looking at the food with disgust.
      - Do you want some salt?
      - Hm? - Bucky looked up at Y/N.
      - Salt. I have salt.
      - How do you have salt?
      - I carry salt in my purse. They're always out at Columbia so I usually have some and you know how unflavoured and unsalted hospital food is. - she shrugged rummaging through her purse. - What are you thinking about?
      - Hm?
      - Earth to James Barnes. - she waved her hand in front of his face. - Hey what's on your mind?
      - Nothing's on my mind. - he went back to his soup, tasting it before grunting and putting the spoon back. He'd rather go hungry for the remaining of his time here.
      - C'mon, the TV has no sound and we have crappy food. We need entertainment so tell me what are you thinking about?
      - I'm thinking about Anna. - he finally said, looking at her as if he expected her to say the exact same things Steve said. He just stayed there, waiting to hear an earful, but she instead placed her hand over his. He looked at her for a few seconds before pulling his hand away, clearing his throat and getting up from his chair. - I'm gonna get some cake. You want some?
      - Huh ... sure. - she smiled, stretching the corner of her lips in a comprehensive smile. - Hey ... can I use your phone? Mine is out of charge and I need to make a call.
      - Sure. - he fished the phone from his trousers' pocket and handed it to her before going to grab themselves some cake or something with a bit of flavour.
(...)
A few hours passed down and Y/N had fallen asleep horizontally in the line of seats next to Bucky. He'd placed his jacket over her, himself also slightly between the states of awake and asleep. All Bucky could do was stare at the lights on the ceiling, the blinding yellow light reminding him of things he didn't wish to be reminded off.
      - Don't think about that. - a voice surprised him as he turned to the side, seeing who he least expected. - It's was in Switzerland for starters, not here.
      - Anna. - he got up staring at the woman in front of him. - What are you doing here?
      - Seems like you need some company. Shall we get some coffee?
Bucky looked at Y/N and Anna read his mind.
      - Let her sleep. It'll be quick.
He took a last look at Y/N before following Anna back to the cafeteria. He followed her with a mix of both confusion and distrust. He didn't know why she was here, maybe Steve told her since they're apparently such great friends. Judas. She sat down on a small table, it was blatant she was still wearing her work clothes - those matching suits which now only annoyed him.
      - Were you gonna tell me Sadie was in the hospital?
      - I'm sorry, I must've forgotten to call the woman who is not her parent.
      - What if she needed something from me?
      - I have my ways. What are you doing here, Anna? Steve call you since you two are so close?
      - Nice to know you're still hateful. Is that what you're gonna teach Sadie?
      - Absolutely and then we'll have daddy-daughter hate sessions. - he said sarcastically. How dare she act all upset when she hadn't been here before.
      - I'm actually here for you, Jimmy.
Jimmy. Bucky hated being called Jimmy and out of everyone, it was only Anna who did it. He used to put up with him because he used to believe she was a good person. Not anymore. He didn't even understand why she was here. To make his life a living hell probably.
      - You look like shit. - she said putting a bag on the table. - When was the last time you actually ate?
      - Gee, Anna, I don't know. I've been too busy worrying about my daughter's well being to eat.
      - I thought maybe it was because you were distracted with the girl on your lap just a few minutes ago. Steve said she was a postdoc, how did you trick someone smart into sleeping with you?
      - She's not sleeping with me.
      - Why not? She's cute. You have my blessing.
      - I don't need your blessing, Anna.
      - Hey, I'm sorry, James. I'm sorry I am not the mother you want me to be, I'm sorry I left Sadie by your door, I'm sorry. - she got up from her seat. - Just because I'm not cut out to be a mother, doesn't mean I don't care about you. C'mon, we've known each other since we were 7.
      - My daughter comes first, Anna, and you hurt her. When you hurt my kid, you hurt me.
      - Tell my dad I said hi. - she grabbed her jacket. - Eat something and brush your hair or the staff will think you kidnapped that girl.
      - Don't forget your bag.
      - It's for you. Looks like you need it. - she waved him goodbye, leaving him to stare at a white label-less bag and a terrible cup of coffee.
The day couldn't get any worse. He had his shitty cup of coffee and grabbed the bag which had a bottle of whiskey. Well, at least Anna knew that she needed to give him alcohol whenever she came. As he started to make his way down the stairs to join a sleeping Y/N, his phone started ringing like crazy.
      - Bucky, Sadie is out of surgery. Where are you? - Y/N's voice came through before he even had the time to say Hello.
      - Y/N? How are you calling me? I thought your phone was out of ch ...
      - Seriously? That's what you're gonna ask? If your daughter wakes up and you're not there so help me god Bucky Barnes you'll be lucky you're in a hospital because I'll kill you with my own hands.

--
Cyrus lay down beside me, his presence comforting and reassuring. He pulled me into his arms, holding me close. I nestled against him, my head resting on his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. we just lay there in silence, our breathing slowly synchronizing. When the realisation hit me.
What have I done...
--
When I woke up, I noticed Cyrus had already left. The pillow and sheets still carried his scent, a lingering reminder of the night before. As I lay there, my thoughts drifted back to the intimacy we had shared. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced before, both physically and emotionally.
But as the memories replayed in my mind, a wave of guilt washed over me. I had used Cyrus because I was angry and upset about the idea of Ezra dating someone else. The realization made me feel horrible. I used him to distract myself from my own turmoil. Wondering what would have happened if he didn't hold back when he did?
Would I have gone all the way? The idea both thrilling and scared at the same time I sat up in bed, hugging my knees to my chest. I needed to sort through my feelings and figure out what I truly wanted. I couldn't continue to do this without understanding my own emotions and what Cyrus wanted from me.
He had said this was a business deal, but last night had felt like so much more than that. Determined to talk to Cyrus honestly, I got dressed and searched for him in the castle. As I walked through the halls, I passed by a window overlooking the garden and noticed Ezra walking with a woman.
She was beautiful, with blonde hair and a petite, graceful figure. It had to be Lady Sara. Seeing them together sent a pang of emotion through me. I caught my own reflection in the window—greasy hair, no makeup—a stark contrast to the radiant beauty of Sara. She was lightness incarnate, just like Ezra, while I looked like a dark cloud against her sunshine.
Just then, Cyrus walked past me. He paused, concern in his eyes. "Are you okay?" he asked I forced a smile and looked up at him. "Why don't we invite her for dinner?" The words slipped out before I fully processed them. I didn't truly want to know her, but at the same time, I felt an overwhelming need to understand what Ezra saw in her, to know my competition.
Cyrus raised an eyebrow as he looked outside, clearly surprised by my suggestion. "Are you sure that's what you want?" I nodded, trying to appear more confident than I felt. "Yes, I think it would be a good idea. Besides, it might be nice to surround me with women more often, it feels like I have barely any girl friends."
He studied me for a moment, then nodded. As Cyrus walked away to make the arrangements, I felt a mixture of anticipation and anxiety. The dinner would be an opportunity to see Sara up close, to observe the dynamics between her and Ezra. It would also be a chance to show myself that I could face this situation head-on, no matter how uncomfortable it might be.
Later that evening, the dining hall was beautifully set for the dinner. I had taken extra care to freshen up, wanting to present myself as best as I could. I wore a long, fitted gown that embraced my curves. It was dark green with a touch of gold detail, a colour that complemented my complexion and brought out the warmth in my features.
I asked Marie to do my hair, and she skilfully styled it into soft curls that hung gracefully over my shoulders. I embraced the fact that I would never be a shining, ethereal beauty like Sara. Instead, I chose to highlight my own unique features, accentuating my big brown eyes and dark hair.
When I looked in the mirror, I felt a sense of confidence and acceptance. I was different, yes, but I was also beautiful in my own way. When I arrived at the dining hall, I saw Sara sitting next to Ezra, laughing and flirting effortlessly. She looked radiant, her blonde hair cascading in waves, and her dress light and cheerful, accentuating her perfect figure.
Cyrus and Ezra looked up as I entered, their eyes widening slightly as they took in my appearance. I had never dressed up like this for our usual dinners, and their reactions made me feel a bit more confident. A warm smile spread across Cyrus's face, and I felt a flutter of reassurance.
Ignoring Ezra, I walked straight to Cyrus, who was seated with an empty chair next to him. "My Prince," I whispered, giving him a small, genuine smile. He stood up slightly to pull out the chair for me, his eyes never leaving me. "You look absolutely stunning, Calista," he murmured in my ear, his voice filled with admiration.
"Thank you," I replied, feeling a blush creep up my cheeks as I took my seat beside him. Throughout the dinner, I could feel the tension and curiosity in the air. Sara continued to engage Ezra in conversation, her laughter ringing out like a melody. Despite my best efforts to be polite, I couldn't shake the feeling that she didn't like me, and I sensed she didn't like Ezra's reaction to me either.
Our eyes met frequently, and I could see a mixture of emotions in Ezra's gaze that only added to the complexity of the situation. Cyrus's hand rested on my thigh, his fingers gently kneading. The touch was both comforting and electrifying, grounding me in the present moment even as my mind swirled with thoughts and doubts.
When I looked at him, I saw a hunger in his eyes that he couldn't possibly put into words without making everyone blush. I wondered what he was thinking, what he wanted to say or do to me. As the meal continued, I found it increasingly difficult to concentrate on the conversation around me. My focus kept drifting back to Cyrus's touch and the intensity in his gaze.
He leaned in closer, his breath warm against my ear. "I wish we were alone now," Cyrus murmured, his voice low and intimate. I nodded, forcing a smile while biting my lip. Across the table, Ezra noticed and shifted in his chair, looking jealous and upset. He turned his attention back to Sara as she deftly took over the conversation once again.
Sara smiled politely, but her words carried a subtle sting. "I'm glad the brothers are finally getting along again," she said, her tone seemingly innocent. "Especially after the last time there was a girl living amongst them," Sara continued, her eyes glinting with a hint of malice.
I looked confused as I took a sip of the wine, trying to mask my reaction. Cyrus's grip on my thigh tightened, but I chose to ignore it for now. "What do you mean, Sara?" I asked, my voice steady but curious. Sara's smile remained polite, but there was an unmistakable edge to her tone.
"The last girlfriend of Cyrus broke both his and Ezra's hearts." The words hung in the air, and I felt a cold chill run down my spine. Cyrus's hand tightened further, almost possessively."That's enough, Sara," Cyrus said, his voice firm, a hint of warning in his eyes.
Ezra looked visibly uncomfortable, his jaw clenching as he avoided looking at me. "It's not a topic for tonight," he added quietly, glancing at Sara, seemingly unfazed, shrugged lightly. "I just meant that it's good to see the brothers happy again. That's all."
I swallowed hard, feeling the weight of Sara's words pressing down on me. She continued, her tone dripping with disdain. "At least now we don't need to worry they fall for the same girl," she said, her eyes glancing at me with contempt. "Because we are clearly nothing alike.”
“Tell me Calista, it must be nice coming from a poor village and living like a princess." Tears welled in my eyes as her words hit me. The contrast between Sara's elegant life and my own humble beginnings felt painfully sharp. I tried to maintain my composure, but the sting of her comments was overwhelming.
Cyrus noticed my sudden silence and the glisten of tears in my eyes. His face darkened with fury. Without raising his voice, he slammed his hand on the table, causing the silverware to clatter. "Sara, you need to show respect," he said, his voice icy but firm. "Calista will one day be your queen, and she deserves to be treated with dignity."
Sara’s eyes widened in shock, and she fell silent, her face flushed with embarrassment. The room was charged with tension as the conversation halted. Cyrus turned to me, his expression softening as he extended his hand. "Let's take a walk," he suggested, his voice gentler now. "I think we both need some fresh air." I nodded, gratefully accepting his offer.
As we stepped out into the cool night air, I felt a mix of relief and vulnerability. After a few moments of silence, I turned to Cyrus and asked, "Is it alright if I go to my room?" He looked at me with a mixture of concern and understanding. "Of course. Do you want me to accompany you?" I shook my head gently. "No, thank you. I think I need some time alone." Cyrus's expression turned sorrowful. "I understand. If you need anything, you know where to find me."
I nodded, appreciating his respect for my need for solitude. "Thank you, Cyrus. I will." With one last reassuring glance, he let me go, and I made my way back to my room. The quiet of the corridor and the soft glow of the moonlight outside helped to calm my racing thoughts.
As I entered my room and closed the door behind me, I sank onto the edge of my bed, letting out a deep, shuddering breath. I sat there for a while, letting the silence envelop me, until a gentle knock on the door broke the stillness. I opened it, expecting it to be Cyrus checking on me, but instead, I found Ezra standing there, his expression apologetic.
I straightened myself quickly, trying to wipe away the evidence of my tears. "What are you doing here?" I asked, my voice curter than I intended. Ezra shifted awkwardly. "I wanted to apologize for Sara’s behaviour. Her comments were out of line." I narrowed my eyes, feeling a mix of frustration and hurt.
"You could have chosen better, you know." Ezra looked taken aback. "I’m sorry?" he said, his tone earnest. "I never said I date her." I huffed "Does she know you’re not interested?" I asked, my voice tinged with scepticism. Ezra sighed. "It's difficult to tell her. She’s very persistent."
I laughed without warmth. "It wasn’t difficult for you to push me aside, though." Ezra’s gaze was steady. "It doesn’t seem like you minded all that much, especially with how you’ve been with Cyrus." I flared up, my frustration bubbling over. "It was you who said I needed to give Cyrus a chance, remember? You said I was PERFECT for him! Him... not you!"
Ezra's expression hardened. "You certainly used him to your advantages, since Cyrus's smell is still lingering in the room." I felt a surge of anger. "Well, Sara’s cheap perfume is all over you!" Ezra's eyes narrowed. "At least my bed doesn't smell like her!"
“You didn't push her away, did you, you never said you don’t want her." I shot back, my voice trembling with emotion. "You just let her hang on, like she had some claim on you." Ezra's jaw tightened. "You think it's that simple? You think I want her clinging to me? I'm trying to handle this without causing a scene."
I scoffed, crossing my arms over my chest. "So, it's easier to string her along than to be honest with her? Just like it's easier to push me away and pretend it doesn’t matter?" His face contorted with frustration.
"And what about you? Acting like you're so innocent when you're sharing a bed with Cyrus, flirting with him, practically eye fucking him in front of me tonight! Are you going to tell me that means nothing?" I felt a hot flush of anger rise up. "I didn’t ask for any of this! You made it clear you didn't want me, and now you’re mad because I turned to someone who does?"
Ezra stepped closer, his voice low and intense. "You think Cyrus really cares about you? He’s using you." I shook my head, tears welling up. "No, Ezra, that's not true. He might not love me, but at least he treats me like I matter. Unlike you, who just throws me aside and then reclaim me, when it suits you."
Ezra's expression softened slightly, but the hurt and anger were still there. "You don’t understand. I pushed you toward Cyrus because I still have a kingdom to think about. I didn’t want to hurt you. I thought it would be easier for you."
"Easier for me?" I repeated, my voice cracking. "You thought it would be easier for me to be with someone I don’t love? To watch you with someone else, while I made it very clear how I felt that night at the festival?! I'm just a pawn in both of your games. Only Cyrus told me the rules of the game before I got close to him, unlike others."
Ezra took another step closer, his voice softening. "Calista, I..."
"No, Ezra," I interrupted, shaking my head. "You don't get to do this. You don't get to push me away and then act like you care. It's not fair." His eyes flashed with a mix of anger and desperation.
"And it's fair to Cyrus? You think he doesn't see what's going on? He knows you're not fully with him." I took a step too, “At least he knows my intentions just like I know his.” Ezra's face twisted with anger, and he took a step, his voice rising. "And what are Cyrus's intentions? To fuck you like a whore, show you off to the public like a new toy, and dump you back in the castle when the people aren't watching?"
I felt a surge of rage and pain. "You're no better!" I yelled back. "I've heard the stories about you and Sara... the rumours of how she screamed and moaned your name in the night. You're just recycling her to make me jealous." Ezra's eyes blazed with fury. "Those stories mean nothing! Sara means nothing to me!"
"Then why is she here, Ezra?" I demanded, my voice breaking. "Why do you let her cling to you if she means nothing? Is she so good in bed?” He shook his head, his voice dropping to a harsh whisper. "It's not like that. You don't understand the pressure, the expectations."
"You think I don’t?" I shot back, my heart pounding. "You think I don't feel the weight of being caught between you and Cyrus, of not knowing where I stand, making a deal to marry someone who I don't love, just to make sure my family get's a proper meal? One minute you take me to meet your brother, the next you push me away, then you get upset when I listen to you. That's not what I need from you."
Ezra tugged at his hair in frustration. "What do you want from me?"
"I wanted you to be honest with me!" I shouted, my voice echoing in the room. "I can't!" Ezra yelled back, his voice raw with emotion. "Then leave," I answered, my voice dropping to a whisper.
Ezra's face fell, the anger dissipating and leaving behind only pain. He stared at me for a long moment, his eyes searching mine for something he couldn't find. “Leave.” I whispered again. Slowly, he turned and walked toward the door, each step heavy with unspoken words. As he reached the door, he paused, his hand resting on the handle.
"Calista," he began, his voice barely audible. "I... I'm sorry." Without waiting for a response, he opened the door and walked out, closing it quietly behind him. I stood there for a moment, trying to catch my breath, the adrenaline still coursing through my veins.
A knock on my door startled me, and I opened it, yelling, "What do you want?!" expecting it to be Ezra. Tears streamed down my face. Cyrus stood there, his expression angry until he saw my tears. His face softened with concern. "What did he do?"
"Who?" I asked, wiping at my eyes. "Ezra," he said, his voice tight with anger. I needed to lie. "It wasn't Ezra," I said quickly, trying to steady my voice. "It was just... everything. I'm overwhelmed." Cyrus stepped inside, closing the door behind him. "Calista, you don't have to lie to me. I saw him leave your room. I heard you yelling."
I shook my head, trying to compose myself. "We just argued, that's all. It wasn't anything serious." His eyes searched mine, clearly not convinced. "Are you sure? Because if he hurt you in any way..." "He didn't," I interrupted, my voice firm despite the trembling in my hands.
"It was just a misunderstanding. I need to be alone,” I said, my voice cracking. “No,” his tone firm but gentle. I looked up at him, tears blurring my vision. “I need to be alone, Cyrus, please.” I repeated, more desperately. He shook his head. “I’m not leaving you like this.”
Frustration and heartbreak bubbled over, and I started hitting his chest, my fists weak against his solid frame. “Why won’t you just listen to me?” I cried, my voice raw with emotion. Fighting a god was foolish, but I couldn't stop myself. Cyrus remained calm, his grip gentle but firm as he grabbed my arms, holding me steady. I kept sobbing, my cries turning into ugly, uncontrolled sobs.
Slowly, he sank to the floor, pulling me down with him. He wrapped his arms around me, holding me tightly while I continued to cry. We stayed there, in a tangled mess of emotions and exhaustion. I listened to the steady rhythm of his heart, the sound soothing in its constancy.
My sobs gradually quieted, and my breathing slowed as fatigue took over. The warmth of his embrace and the sound of his heartbeat became a lullaby, and I felt myself drifting into sleep. Cyrus held me close, his presence a silent promise of support. As I slipped into unconsciousness, I felt a strange sense of peace, knowing that despite everything, I wasn’t alone.
That night, I dreamed horrible, vivid dreams. Their father, the god king, lay dead, and I found him, his body lifeless and cold. As I tried to run, I stumbled upon Cyrus, holding a sword dripping with the purple divine and blood, a haunting glow in the night. Ezra knelt before him, and with a wicked smile, Cyrus turned to me and said, "This is for lying to me," before he decapitated Ezra in one swift, merciless motion.
I sprang up from the dream, drenched in sweat, my heart pounding wildly. The room was dimly lit by the early morning light, and I realized I was alone. Cyrus must have placed me in bed last night, but now he was gone. The terror of the dream clung to me, and I struggled to shake off the lingering fear.
I sat up, trying to steady my breathing, and looked around the room. Everything seemed normal, but the weight of the nightmare pressed heavily on my chest. Marie walked into the room, her expression somber and eyes filled with a haunted look. I was in the middle of getting ready, still trying to shake off the lingering dread from my nightmare. I noticed her demeanour immediately. "Marie," I said, turning to her. "What’s wrong?" Her voice trembled as she spoke, "The king... he's dead."
The words hit me like a physical blow, and for a moment, I could only stare at her in shock. My nightmare from the previous night came rushing back with vivid clarity, the images of the god king lying dead, and Cyrus with the bloodied sword. "How?" I managed to ask, my voice barely more than a whisper. "They found him in his chambers this morning," Marie replied, tears brimming in her eyes. "There's talk of murder."
My heart pounded in my chest. "Where are Cyrus and Ezra?" "They're in the throne room, with the council," Marie said. "You should go to them." I nodded, still trying to process the news. The king was dead, and if my dream held any truth... No, I couldn't think like that. I had to find Cyrus and Ezra, to see what was happening.
As I hurried through the corridors, my mind raced. The palace was in chaos, servants and guards moving frantically, the atmosphere heavy with tension. When I reached the throne room, I found the doors guarded by two stern-looking soldiers. "I need to see Cyrus and Ezra," I said, my voice urgent. One of the guards nodded and opened the door just enough for me to slip through. Inside, the room was filled with council members, all talking in hushed, frantic tones.
At the centre, I saw Cyrus and Ezra standing side by side, their expressions grim. Cyrus looked up as I entered, his eyes meeting mine with a mixture of relief and concern. "Calista," he said, his voice steady despite the turmoil around us. Ezra turned to look at me, his face a mask of controlled emotion. "We have a lot to discuss, go back to your room" he said quietly. I ignored him, moving closer to them.
"I heard about the king. What happened?" Cyrus sighed, running a hand through his hair. "We're not entirely sure yet. There are signs of a struggle, and the council believes it was an assassination." Ezra’s gaze was intense. "We need to find out who did this and why. The kingdom is on the brink of chaos."
The council chamber was filled with tension, each word and accusation adding to the mounting pressure. One of the council members, an older man with a sharp gaze, pointed a finger at Cyrus. "You couldn't get your hands on the throne fast enough, could you?" he sneered. "The marks on the king's body, they show ice burns. Who else here wields such power?"
A murmur of agreement spread through the room. Cyrus's face darkened, his composure slipping. "How dare you," he growled, his voice trembling with barely contained rage. The council members continued to press, their voices growing louder, more accusatory. Cyrus's temper reached its breaking point, and with a sudden, violent gesture, a blast of purple force erupted from him.
The shockwave shattered windows, splintered furniture, and sent people sprawling to the ground. The room fell into stunned silence as Cyrus stormed out, the purple fire in his eyes blazing. Ezra and I exchanged a quick glance before hurrying after him. We found him in his chambers, pacing furiously, his anger palpable.
"I can't believe they're trying to push me aside," he muttered, his voice raw with emotion. "After everything..." The purple fire swirled in his eyes, casting an eerie glow around the room. "Get out," he snapped, his anger directed at us now. "Leave before I hurt you."
I refused to back down, stepping closer to him. "No, Cyrus," I said firmly, grabbing his face with both hands. "You won't hurt me." For a moment, his anger faltered, replaced by confusion and something softer. But the fire was still there, simmering just beneath the surface.
Ezra, sensing the volatility in the room, turned to leave. "I'll talk to the council," he said, his voice strained. "Try to calm them down." As Ezra left, the room seemed to shrink around us, the tension thick and oppressive.
Cyrus's eyes met mine, the purple flames flickering. "Calista," he said, his voice a mixture of anger and desperation. "You shouldn't be here." "I'm not going anywhere," I replied, my voice steady despite my racing heart. He looked away, his shoulders sagging as the weight of the situation pressed down on him. "They think I killed him," he whispered, the admission hanging heavy in the air.
"We'll prove them wrong," I said, my determination unwavering. "But you need to stay calm. Losing your temper won't help." He took a deep breath, the fire in his eyes dimming slightly. "I don't know if I can," he admitted, his voice barely audible. "You can," I insisted.
Before I could say anything more, Cyrus pulled me into a kiss that was both freezing cold and burning hot, a whirlwind of conflicting sensations. His hands roamed over my body, kneading and groping with an urgency that left me breathless. It took a moment for me to fully register what was happening.
He pushed me against the wall, his lips trailing down to my neck, where he kissed and bit with a force that made it hard to think. "Cyrus," I managed to gasp, "is this really the best time?" His response was a low growl, his breath hot against my skin. "I need this," he murmured, his voice rough and desperate. "I need you... I need to let off some steam."
I struggled to keep my thoughts clear, the intensity of his touch making it difficult. "But... the council..." "Forget them," he whispered fiercely, his hands moving with a determination that left no room for argument. It took me everything to push him off me. “I say stop!”
He took a step back angry, "So what Ezra gave you enough dick last night, you don't need me anymore?” I hit his face, it was a stupid move against a god. “Don't you dare talk to me like that!” I yelled back. Cyrus pulled back slightly, his breathing heavy, his eyes searching mine. "I can't lose you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "Not now. Not even to him."
"You won't," I replied, my own voice trembling with emotion.
"I’m sorry," he whispered, his voice breaking. "I shouldn’t have said that." I nodded, still reeling from the intensity of the moment. "We’re all under a lot of pressure," I said softly, my voice barely steady. "But we can’t let it tear us apart." He took a deep breath, his hands trembling slightly as he reached out to gently touch my cheek. "You’re right. I just… I don’t know how to handle all of this. My father’s death, the accusations, marriage… It’s too much"
"I’m here," I promised. "Marriage can wait... Let's just prove you didn't do it."
--
The next days brought a whirlwind of activity to the castle as preparations were made to welcome Aunt Lillian and her three sons. Lillian, a formidable woman with divine powers like her nephews, was the only remaining member of their family who shared their abilities. Her sons, Tiberius, Orion, and Castor, were strikingly handsome and appeared slightly younger than Cyrus, though they were in fact several hundred years younger.
The castle buzzed with activity, a stark contrast to the somber reason for their visit. Despite the mourning, there was an air of festivity as the council continued to refuse Cyrus’s ascension to the throne. This had forced both Cyrus and Ezra to relentlessly search for the real killer, but so far, their efforts had been in vain.
That evening at dinner, the atmosphere was tense. The long table was filled with a mixture of mourners and council members, their expressions ranging from sorrowful to suspicious. Aunt Lillian, with her regal bearing and piercing eyes, sat at the head of the table beside Ezra and Cyrus.
Her sons flanked her, each one radiating an air of quiet power. As I took my seat beside Cyrus, I felt Lillian’s gaze on me, cold and appraising. She leaned slightly toward Cyrus, her voice just loud enough for me to hear. "Is this the girl you’ve chosen to entertain yourself with, Cyrus?" she asked, her tone dripping with disdain. "She looks... ordinary." I felt a flush of anger and embarrassment, but Cyrus’s hand on mine under the table calmed me slightly.
He met his aunt’s gaze with a steely resolve. "Calista is not to be spoken of in such a manner, Aunt Lillian," he said firmly. "She is my fiancée and has to be treated with utmost respect." Lillian raised an eyebrow, a small, mocking smile playing on her lips. "Fiancée, you say? Interesting choice, considering the circumstances." Ezra, sitting across from us, interjected, his voice calm but with an edge.
"Aunt Lillian, Calista has been a great support to both of us during these trying times. I would appreciate it if you treated her with the respect she deserves." Lillian’s eyes flicked to Ezra, her expression unreadable. "Very well," she said, her tone dismissive. "But I do hope you both know what you’re doing.
The council is already divided, and bringing an outsider into the fold will only complicate matters, they might even think you waited for the world to see her before you killed my brother." I felt the weight of her words and the eyes of everyone at the table. Dinner continued in a strained silence, broken only by occasional murmurs and the clinking of cutlery.
Tiberius, Orion, and Castor seemed content to let their mother speak for them, their expressions neutral but attentive. After dinner, as we retired to library. Lillian approached me as we stood by the fireplace, her sons lingering nearby. "Do you know what you’re getting into, girl?" she asked, her voice low and threatening. "This is not a place for the faint-hearted."
I met her gaze, trying to summon all the courage I could. "I know it won’t be easy, but I’m here to support Cyrus and Ezra. I won’t back down." She studied me for a moment, then nodded curtly. "We shall see," she said, turning away. That night, before the darkness fully settled over the castle, I found Cyrus still in the throne room. The grand space was dimly lit, casting long shadows across the floor. His expression was one of deep concern, his usually confident demeanour replaced by a brooding intensity. I hesitated for a moment before approaching him.
“Cyrus,” I began softly, my voice echoing slightly in the vast room. He looked up, his eyes cold and hard. “What do you want to do next?” I asked, trying to break through his icy exterior. He sighed, his gaze drifting to the empty throne. “We need to find the killer, prove my innocence, and secure my place on the throne,” he replied, his tone devoid of emotion.
I took a deep breath, gathering my courage. “Has our deal changed?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. He frowned, clearly confused. “What do you mean?” I looked away, gathering my thoughts before meeting his gaze again. “Since we’ve been somewhat intimate, I’m confused about your goals. Are we still proceeding with the fake marriage?”
His confusion melted into a slow smile, a hint of warmth returning to his eyes. “Ah, I see. Even if we do this arrangement, people will expect an heir to the throne one day.” My heart skipped a beat at his words. “And what does that mean for us?” Cyrus stepped closer, his eyes locking onto mine. “It means we need to maintain the facade, but we also need to be realistic about what’s expected of us.”
I nodded slowly, understanding the gravity of the situation. “So, our deal remains the same, but with added complexities.” “Calista, I need you by my side, I need you to keep your end of the deal. That's it. Now leave me." His words hurt me, just tried to convince Ezra his brother was kind to you but now... he looked like the same men I met at the beginning. I bowed and walked out the door, my heart heavy with the weight of our conversation.
As I stepped into the hallway, I spotted Ezra talking to Sara. The sight of them together sent a fresh wave of pain through me, and I blinked rapidly, trying to keep my tears from falling. But the emotion was too strong. As I passed by, the tears began to spill, and I hastily wiped them away, not wanting anyone to see my weakness. Ezra must have noticed because he excused himself from Sara and walked briskly towards me.
"Calista," he called softly, concern etched on his face. "What’s wrong?" I tried to brush past him, but he gently caught my arm, pulling me to the side where we could talk in private. "Calista, please talk to me," he insisted, his voice low and urgent. "It's nothing," I said, my voice shaky as I tried to pull myself together.
"Just everything happening... it’s overwhelming." I pulled my arm free, my anger and hurt bubbling to the surface. "Then why are you with her, Ezra? Why do you keep hurting me like this?" He looked taken aback, his mouth opening and closing as if searching for the right words. "It’s not what you think. I’m trying to manage things, keep her at bay. But you... you’re all I think about." I shook my head, the tears falling freely now.
"You say that, but your actions say otherwise." Ezra stepped closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Calista, I’ve been trying to protect you. Everything I’ve done... it’s for you." "Then show me," I demanded, my voice barely more than a whisper. "Show me that you care. Because right now, I don’t know what to believe."
Lillian interrupted us, her eyes sharp and knowing as she approached. There was a calculating look in her gaze that told me she had picked up on the tension between Ezra and me. "Ezra," she said, her tone measured, "has Calista received her education yet?" I looked at her, confused. "What do you mean?" Ezra's expression turned serious.
"No, Aunt Lillian. She hasn't." Lillian nodded, a faint smile on her lips. "There are certain things, traditions, that need to be followed for you to become the queen and earn immortality. It's part of the process, Calista, something every future queen must go through." I felt a knot of apprehension form in my stomach. "What kind of education?" Lillian's smile widened, though it didn't reach her eyes. "It's nothing to worry about, dear. Just a series of lessons and rituals to prepare you for your role. I can help you with them while Ezra and Cyrus continue their search for the killer. By the time they catch him, you'll be ready for marriage."
Ezra glanced at me, concern evident in his eyes. "Calista, you don’t have to do anything you’re uncomfortable with." But I knew I had to take this step if I wanted to secure my place and help Cyrus and Ezra focus on finding the truth. "I'll do it," I said, trying to sound confident. Lillian’s smile became more genuine. "Good. We’ll start tomorrow." Ezra looked troubled, but he nodded. "If you’re sure, Calista." I squeezed his hand, trying to reassure him. "I’m sure. You need to find the killer and bring peace back to the kingdom. If this is what I have to do to help, then I will."
Every day, Lillian guided me through a rigorous schedule of lessons. We delved deep into politics, learning the intricate workings of the kingdom and the delicate balance of power between realms. The teachings about the divine were the most intense and crucial, as they were the foundation of my future role. Lillian explained the significance of the divine powers, how they flowed through the royal bloodline, and the responsibilities that came with wielding such power.
She taught me about the ancient rituals and ceremonies that maintained the balance between the mortal and divine worlds. Her knowledge was vast, and her teaching methods were both demanding and precise. As part of my preparation, Lillian brewed special teas for me to drink each day. These concoctions were meant to cleanse my body and ready it to receive the divine power that I would share with Cyrus upon our union. The teas had a bitter taste, but I drank them without complaint, understanding their importance.
"You must be purified," Lillian would say as she handed me the cup. "The divine power is not something to be taken lightly. It requires a vessel that is pure and strong." The cleansing process was rigorous. I often felt light-headed and drained, but Lillian assured me that this was normal and a necessary part of the preparation. Despite the physical toll, I could feel myself growing stronger. asked how exactly I would receive it the power Lillian’s smile was knowing. "The consummation of your marriage is not just a formality; it is a sacred act that binds you to Cyrus and allows the divine power to be shared between you." I nodded, trying to absorb the gravity of what she was saying. The blush on my cheeks deepened. As I continued my lessons with Lillian, the reality of my future role as queen became more tangible. The divine power was a gift, but it was also a responsibility that I had to embrace fully. And part of that responsibility was accepting my bond with Cyrus, not just in the public eye but in the most private and sacred of ways.
Each day, as I drank the cleansing teas and absorbed the knowledge Lillian imparted, I felt myself becoming more and more ill and weak. My head often pounded, and my stomach churned with a constant sense of unease. Despite this, I pushed through, determined to prepare myself for the role I was destined to play. One morning, I walked into the dining room, the familiar feeling of nausea stronger than ever. I heard Ezra talking to his nephews and Cyrus about needing to fin
d the murderer. Their voices blurred together as my vision started to dim, and a sharp pain shot through my head. I tried to excuse myself, to make it to the door before I collapsed, but my legs gave way beneath me. The world spun, and the last thing I saw was the panicked faces of Ezra and Cyrus rushing toward me before everything went black.
When I came to, I was lying in a bed, the room dimly lit by candles. Cyrus and Ezra were by my side, their expressions a mix of concern and fear. "Calista," Ezra's voice was soft but urgent. "What happened? You've been getting worse every day." I tried to sit up, but a wave of dizziness forced me back down. "I don't know," I whispered. "The teas, the lessons... I thought they were supposed to help me."
Ezra took the old teapot on my nightstand and smelled it, passing it to Cyrus. Cyrus exchanged a look with Ezra, his eyes narrowing. "Lillian," he muttered under his breath. Both got up without a word. Cyrus turned to Ezra. "You need to stay with her. If this means what we think, she is in danger." Ezra nodded. I was confused, asking, "What's wrong?" Ezra's expression was grim.
"Lillian has been poisoning you. There is no tea in the preparation." My mind raced, struggling to process what he had just said. "Poisoning me? But why?" "To weaken you, to control you, perhaps even to kill you. without you there is no wedding, no wedding Cyrus can't be king no king... she could demand the throne by vote through the council."
Cyrus ran off, and Ezra, seeing my fear, climbed into bed behind me. He held me close, my head resting on his chest. Hours passed, and eventually, exhaustion took over, and I fell asleep against him. I woke up when Cyrus entered the room, his voice breaking the silence. "She admitted it," he said, his tone heavy with weariness. "She even admitted to killing our father."
He looked terrible, like he had been through a brutal fight. His clothes were torn, and there were visible scratches and bruises on his skin. I sat up, still feeling weak but filled with concern. "What happened?" I asked. Ezra, his voice tense, asked, "Her sons?"Cyrus nodded, his expression grim. "I had to kill them too. They fought back when I confronted Lillian. They were all in on it."
A mix of relief and sorrow washed over me. While Lillian's threat had been neutralized, the cost had been high. I could see the toll it had taken on Cyrus, and it broke my heart. Ezra tightened his hold on me, his presence reassuring. "You did what you had to do," he said quietly. "You need to keep Calista safe now." Cyrus nodded, his gaze softening as he looked at me. "We will."
The three of us stayed together that night.
Cyrus had changed clothes and washed up before he switched places with Ezra, who now sat on the chair a crossed the room. I caught his glance when I lay in Cyrus his arms, a whirl of emotions showing, pain and sadness but also relieved and caring, maybe a hint of jealousy?
I was too tired too ill to decipher. Their protective presence a comfort amidst the turmoil made me feel at ease, knowing I'd be save. As I drifted back into sleep, I knew what soon would follow.
Marriage.

quick n silly violinist!chuuya idea
so i lied and i think i actually do want to post some writing here because twitter honestly is a nightmare in so many ways...
anyway, here's some skk au where chuuya is a violinist and dazai is just fucking around in college or something (idk not important). for anyone that doesn't know, it's not uncommon for violinists/violists to have a small bruise around the left jawline area as a result of playing for a long time. the funny thing is they can look like hickeys, so that's what people sometimes call them (violin/viola hickeys). i was just thinking about it after seeing some online (ray chen's 'play with ray' reel) and this scenario came to me -- this was only supposed to be like 200-300 words max but here we are with 1k LOL. will probably touch up and upload to ao3 a bit later but for now:
the first time dazai noticed the small bruise by chuuya's lower jaw, he thought oh. well. good for him and whoever got to give him that very visible mark. maybe it was just a one-night stand, in which case again, good for chuuya for getting some. did not upset dazai at all. no, he was not experiencing odd twinges in his gut each time he made accidental eye-contact with the hickey.
the next day chuuya was still sporting it, in the exact same spot and just as vivid as the previous day. dazai didn't want to say he was curious, but he couldn't help his mind going into overdrive trying to figure out the individual behind the hickeys. if chuuya noticed a layer of distraction lining dazai's usual childish comebacks, he didn't comment.
a week later chuuya still had that damn hickey, and at this point dazai was more scoffing at this evidently enthusiastic hickey-giver than anything else because yeah, we get it, you love to kiss and suck and bite on the incredibly attractive area below the stupid chibi's jawline and leave a mark for everyone to see, but honestly couldn't you be a little more creative on where you leave them each time? like he has a whole neck free for access, not to mention collarbones too, how could one possibly refrain from— and dazai had the horrible realisation that he was. very jealous. and possibly in love.
the only solution was to avoid chuuya, of course. the alternative would be dazai struggling not to blush and stumble over his words when he made eye contact with the redhead, so dazai would just simply not see him. yes, this was fine. this was great! no chuuya, no annoying feelings or unwanted physiological reactions.
(lie. not seeing chuuya did not stop the images of the hickey from haunting dazai, or causing his face to heat up.)
it came as a relief disappointment when chuuya finally confronted him, around two weeks later. dazai had burrowed himself into a nook in the university library, content to play a mindless game on his laptop while surrounded by piles of unopened books, realising too late the sound of familiar purposeful footsteps. he was seized by the arm and tugged out the library door, whines of "ow, oww chuuya," gone unheard.
chuuya let go of him once they were in a secluded corner, then whirled around with hands on his hips.
"why are you avoiding me?" he asked. his expression was expectant, mouth set to curl into a scowl.
dazai discreetly flicked his eyes towards the underside of chuuya's jaw. it was still fucking there. he turned his chin away in a display of haughtiness. "i have to get back to studying. i don't have time for chatting with slugs."
he made to leave, but chuuya grabbed his arm again.
"no, you dick, you are not slipping your way out of this. i bet you weren't even studying, anyway. why are you avoiding me?" then a slight pause. "did i do something?"
oh. no scowl, then. instead chuuya's lips were pursed, brows knitted in something like... worry?
dazai panicked. "no," he said quickly. "well, you didn't do anything, it's more like the doing of one such thing unto you that, you know, has rendered me-"
"what the fuck are you talking about?"
now chuuya was peering at him suspiciously and dazai just knew he had to look away, away from the piercing blue or else he would be an embarrassing red — yes, good, away from the eyes and past the chin and the jaw and oh fuck, there's the fucking hickey i need to stop looking at it oh god why can't i look away-
"why are you staring at-" chuuya looked down at himself in confusion. "what are you looking at?"
dazai snapped his eyes up, guilty as if he had just been caught stealing from the cookie jar. chuuya looked more concerned than ever.
"dazai," he said slowly, eyes narrowed, "are you going to tell me what's wrong?"
defeated, dazai sighed. he squeezed his eyes shut and took a deep breath through his nose. then, fixing chuuya with what he hoped was a look of nonchalance, dazai asked the million-dollar question: "who gave you that?"
"... gave me what?"
he gestured vaguely towards the chuuya's neck. "the... hickey," he finished sullenly.
chuuya looked bewildered. he blinked for a few seconds. then, like he was gradually reaching the solution to a puzzle, "are you asking about my violin hickey?"
dazai blinked back. "huh?"
he pointed at it directly. "this?"
"... yes?"
"ah." the redhead seemed to be biting back a grin. "i see now."
chuuya inched forward and laid a hand on dazai's shoulder. the latter tried to pretend he wasn't having trouble regulating his breathing. "dazai," chuuya said. "this is a bruise that resulted from practising violin. not from... somebody's mouth."
"oh," dazai said dumbly.
"you'll see that quite a few violinists and violists will have it."
"oh," he said again.
chuuya was definitely smiling now. and dazai's face was definitely red.
"is this why you've been avoiding me?" chuuya asked, voice wavering on a laugh.
dazai scowled. "fine, chibikko. yes, i was avoiding you because i couldn't stand seeing that bruise on full display every day, and— don't laugh, you're being mean!"
chuuya had tipped forward, head shaking against dazai's chest as he failed to contain his giggles. "you were so disturbed by a hickey that you couldn't even talk to me?"
"chuuuyaa, you don't understand! it was excruciating seeing the thing because my brain kept telling me i should be the one to administer it!"
the laughter died down. chuuya looked up, eyes widening with the realisation of dazai's words. his hand was still clutching the taller's shoulder, leaving their faces just a breadth apart. dazai watched in fascination (and maybe a little satisfaction at having the upper hand again) as a healthy blush began to spread across chuuya's cheeks. "o-oh," he echoed.
"yeah," dazai breathed. "so what does chuuya say?" he leaned down slightly, a hand straying by the other's waist. "can i have a taste?"
after a second, wherein chuuya's gaze shifted from brown eyes to lips to eyes again, he dipped his head back down to rest against dazai's chest with a huff. "not here, you idiot. i'm not having you kiss me for the first time in the middle of this damn building."
"gasp, chuuya, my kiss is that special to you?"
"shut up and get your things, shitty mackerel."
dazai beamed.

Surprise
Hello guys, how are you today? If you have any questions or requests just hit me up! Also if you are underage please do not read my work that has mature things in it please as I will not take responsibility for your actions! 🦖🦖🦖. ✨Yesyes✨ ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)
Leona didn't like to follow peoples rules and orders but when it came to you he couldn't help it and would bring down the moon for you if you asked for him. Like a dog to its master, which would be a complete insult to him. It was a surprise to him when you bought him an interesting pair of clothes to wear. well actually an interesting pair of string. You bought him lingerie. A beautiful sunset colour made from the best cloth you could use, and a heart shaped hole at the back where his hole would be on display if he bent over. though the fabric that would meant to be holding everything together was replaced by string as the only cloth that was on the under wear was a tiny piece to hide his massive cock and some at the back where his royal hole was. and the top for his sensitive nipples was mostly string till you got to the nipple bit  which was covered by two love hearts. And being the little slut he was, he put them on for you in the comfort of his room with you on the bed still fully clothed looking at him shivering in nothing but the lingerie. “Come here” you said as you pointed to the ground. He avoided eye contact as he kneeled by your feet and let his eyes drop to the floor as is hands tried to cover his massive cock the was being tightly restrained by the cloth. After all, you needed cloth that was fit for a king so how could you simply just buy a pair that didn't have cloth that would restrain even a monsters erection. It would be enjoyable to see Leona confused as he couldn't let his painful erection bounce out of the underwear. The cloth was special it would keep his erection in until someone pulled it out and you definitely wouldn't let Leona do that.
“Herbivore, what the fuck”
you raised your eyebrow as you looked down at his shivering state but your eyes got distracted at the site of a massive bulge under the cloth on his undies then your eyes flew to his back where you could distinctively could see his tail trying to cover something.
“Ass up “ you said not bothering to amuse leona today as you unzipped your bottoms and let them drop with Leona going wide eyes as he saw your cock bonce right out. “Now, Leona” your voice made him jump out of his little fantasies as you saw him scrambled to follow your orders. it was truly a pleasant site to see his pretty ass in your face with his tail trying to hide the missing cloth. You violently grabbed Leonas tail and pulled it away and you didn't miss the little shriek that went through leona only to be caught in his mouth. You lined up your cock teasingly poking at his hole a couple of times, just narrowly missing the entrance. “W-wait what about preparation?” he stuttered out, realisation slowly hitting him as he wished he could go back to the past and take back any thong that had upset you.
You gripped at his thighs holding him in place as you say your dick by his entrance. "N-no that's way too big, herbivore..." You didn't waste any time in shoving half the dick in as you snapped right back at him. "Well for your information, Leona, I eat meat too. So maybe you should study your choice if words again since you clearly are using the wrong vocab to address your master with."

This is one of the more incredible things I've ever seen is not true it seems to be down on the character at the end but he's not really he understands our son is in trouble like his brother and has a momentary relapse and realizes he's doing something wrong so yeah I was happy he felt too many times to say and they are in trouble falling for things he gets the analogy any understands who's playing his character and he sees the cross the x chromosome or different genetically and he says it couldn't have worked better unless we planned it so those symbols are made by the max and it's not too hard to figure out cuz you can't find out who did it nobody did it and it worked it's a big win for all of us here on Earth we are going to celebrate tonight let's hope you guys don't try and attack us too much we're already having problems but this is great and who said it too when I have is an empire of darts and it's very scary and he's saying Logan if I don't make it you to take over and it says that too you can use time. So our son says this is the perfect example of why Cheyenne is not really it and he says why part of it is them having you to the character they're calling out some things are going to do and what happens on the in the movies I'm helping to make happen and he looks miss his uh-oh they have horse room stuck in it too I'm 3 years old kind of and he knows what maybe not even so he kind of got upset then said you're picking on a baby and then said he's the ruler and it's your plan to follow his plan so well we'll go to The institute I think it's a Vanderbilt house and you would think on it from the perspective of the max and what other people would see and that's what he did and went in so let's see how you use your power and it's greatness I have to think of it in my own of course it's an idea but it's my character and it's happening to me and you would be in character and Charles can walk around he uses a second energy and our son said wait a minute you have to sign it that's all he did so he shined his head I didn't know why but or something so funny and it's the set of character that Comic-Con they saw a lot of Xavier with shiny heads and they said it's like Excalibur the shiner the better. Our son's okay but the daily stress is huge and Trump's injuries are massive and it's scary for people and money is to distract them and stuff and he's getting through it he says he's going to do it we're helping and the pseudo empire makes a lot of rude comments the empire I mean geez so this is the idea here is for people to polish your heads and go as Xavier then it's about Saint John's and educating yourself
Thor Freya
It's an exhausting study but really it's right in our laps it's real easy to see it's easy to read he figured it out with us helping a lot of it was him and it's frustrated and is searching things over and over very repetitive and finally he broke the code I've never seen a kid work so hard on this I've never seen a kid break this code and I've never seen one do it a little bit more than us this stuff is rich he says he thinks his brother left him stuff and it doesn't think the computers can do it they don't have enough diversity and the signal is in the air it's like having your brain stretched out and it's really weird but that's what it is they said it too I don't think I'm going to win but I'm going to do something to them try to toughen you up it was very tough but I got this stuff this is all code and the weeks to come you're going to see things happening to me that happened in the past they put me on trial as Nathan Hale and it's a different character I know what I was doing and it's the pseudo empire they're going to do gross things and hang me I don't think it's over because we haven't reached 76 yet. I am reminded of something I was hung as a rebel and I was entombed and then broken up and he says that might be it meaning my people will be attuned and conquered and then try and get me there Concord Massachusetts and if I make it there they'll get me out there but I know where it was and now I can get ready we're avoiding what the max plan to do to us and as a result it goes right on the money and it weakens our situation

Here are the Datables! I hope you enjoy reading this!
Brothers Masterlist | Dateables Masterlist
Datables Reactions to a Ticklish MC Refusing to be Near Them
👑 Diavolo -
MC has had enough of stepping on Diavolo's toes because he tickles them.
It is making look like a fool at balls so they start to keep their distance.
Even at RAD (he likes to poke them in the hallways).
Diavolo notices this, but just thinks that MC is being studious and busy with their schoolwork.
Until he goes up to poke them and they skirt away from him.
"MC, I think you and I need to have a meeting..."
He waits in the meeting hall and MC shows up.
You know one of those giant dinner tables that can hold like 40 people, Diavolo is sitting at the head of one of those.
He gestures for MC to sit next to them.
They sit at the other end like 10 feet away from him.
"There is no need to be so far away MC. I won't hurt you."
MC refuses to move and they talk about the tickling problem while screaming over the table.
🛎 Barbatos -
They have had enough of Barbatos' "accidental" touches.
They can see his smirk. They know it is on purpose.
So MC tries to be smart and go around to different entrances of RAD, takes different hallways to classes.
But they can't shake him. He is always waiting for them wherever they go!
"Hello MC, taking the scenic route I see?"
This continues for a week and MC is exhausted.
One day they actually ran into a wall of lockers to try to get away from Barbatos.
Eventually MC caves and just tells him. They can't keep trying to run away.
"I didn't know it was such a problem for you. I will stop immediately."
And he actually does. There is peace in the RAD hallways once again!
😇 Simeon -
He wouldn't stop tickling them during their last study session, and MC is mad becuase they failed that test (because they couldn't study due to laughing do much)
MC started keeping their distance in the hallway and at lunch for the past week.
Simeon thought it was just due to them being busy, but when he would walk up to them, MC would step away.
"MC have I done something to upset you?"
MC tells him that he is the reason they failed their test.
He tries to plan another study date to make it up to them.
MC reluctantly agrees (his face looked so sad, how could they say no?)
But instead of studying, he made them a nice dinner and made sure to treat them like royalty.
"I didn't mean to distract you last week. I hope you can accept this dinner as an apology."
MC failed their test the day after that dinner because they were too distracted by Simeon again.
🐕 Luke -
He is actually the one that put up a rule because MC kept tickling him too much!
He is a big scary angel don't you know!
So MC decided to ignore him too. See how he feels.
It actually got so bad that neither of them would talk when they were at RAD.
"Why would I talk to a person who keeps trying to tickle me?"
Eventually, Simeon invites MC over to hang out (and help them make up with Luke)
Luke hears them having fun and wants to join really bad...
He eventually caves, hugging MC near tears.
"MC! I'm sorry. I missed talking to you. Will you forgive me."
Of course they do, but they put up some more boundaries in the tickle war to make him feel better.
🔮 Solomon -
MC found all the enchanted tickle objects and was not happy.
They took the objects and put them in a box.
They did a lot of research (with Satan's help) and found a spell to make the objects tickle anyone who opened the box.
MC wrapped the box and left it in their bag.
Then when at RAD, they ignored him.
Solomon let MC ignore his questions and pokes for the week, but by the end he was desperate.
"MC, I understand that you are mad at me and I am sorry for whatever I did, please just talk to me."
He was pleading and had big puppy dog eyes.
MC told him what the problem wrong and he promised he would never violate their backpack with his enchanted items again.
As a thank you, MC gives him a present :)
"Hahahaha. That's-aha. That's cruel MC-ehehehehe!"
The objects chased and tickled him for an hour.

You came to love the smell of parchment and books. The sound of pages being turned, the feeling of a new book in your hands. You loved them because it made you think of Hermione.
Merlin, you were infatuated with everything about her. The excitement in her voice when she talked about her favorite books, the small paper cuts on her fingers from turning the pages – she didn't mind them as it was normal for her – and the look on her face when she received praise from professors.
She was all you thought about and you wanted to go to the top of the Astronomy Tower and yell out "I LOVE HERMIONE JEAN GRANGER" for the whole school to hear. And you were positive she felt the same. Hermione would refuse to let go of your hands when you walked together from class and on some occasions, you'd catch her staring at you during study sessions. Just like she was doing now.
"Miss Granger, for the last time, I am asking you what are the contents of polyjuice potion?" Snape was hovered over her desk. Hermione jumped in her seat and turned to face the brooding professor. Your Slytherin housemates who sat at the back of class laughed at her startled state as she named the contents. You looked back and glared at them all. When Snape left your table and continued his lecture, you leaned closer to Hermione and whispered as low as you could, “Are you okay? You seem kind of distracted,” you noticed.
“Y-yes, I'm fine,” Hermione stuttered. Snape excused the class and Hermione waited for you to be done packing your things just so she could hold your hand to the Great Hall. “Are we still going to Hogsmeade on Saturday?” you asked.
“Harry’s got detention with McGonagall for ‘ accidentally’ turning Crabbe into a water goblet in class,” Hermione used her free hand to make air quotations, “and Ron’s busy with Lavender that day.” She had a sad look on her face, thinking that they wouldn't be able to go to Hogsmeade after all. You picked up on it and had an idea. “So, just the two of us then?”
Hermione’s chest became warm, “Okay. It's a date.” Your eyes slightly bulged out and to Hermione, you had an indistinguishable smile, “I mean, not like a date date, but a girls date.” You weren't sure if she meant it like that, but you laughed at her stumbling her words. The always composed girl becoming a cute, blubbering mess for you. Not that you knew for sure it was because for you but you’d given it a lot of thought.
She never held Harry’s hand like she did yours unless he was upset about something and she was comforting him. And she certainly never held Ron’s hand. Nor does she ever hug him knowing Lavender would go ballistic. Not that she’d ever want to. He was her best friend, yeah but she had never gotten used to it. They both had an unspoken thing to not hug.
“Sounds fun,” you chirped, “can’t wait for it.” You gave her a lingering hug before going to your table. You sat in between your best friends Pansy and Daphne. Pansy had a smirk on her lips once you were in her line of sight, “Did you finally tell Granger?” You knew what she was talking about and nudged her arm with your elbow, “Shut it.” The two girls chuckled and gave each other knowing looks. “I might tell her on Saturday,” you disclosed.
They had matching shocked faces; for nearly a year, they’ve watched you pace around their shared dorm debate with yourself whether or not to tell her about how you feel. You’d have a sparkle in your eyes every time you talked about her and nearly spent every day with her. They weren't upset about it. In fact, they couldn't wait to see you two together. But you were unexpectedly insecure by thinking of the worst case scenario in which she’d reject you.
“That’s great, Y/N/N. I’m so happy for you. I know everything will turn out well,” Daphne supported. Pansy nodded and pointed to Daphne as to say ‘Me too’. You grabbed the hands of both girls and held them tightly, “Thanks, girls. I love you guys.” You wrapped an arm around both of them and brought them in for a hug. Daphne returned it while Pansy made a fake coughing sound. “I can’t b-breathe,” she exaggerates. You held on for a couple seconds more before letting go and started eating. “Okay, so how is this happening?” Pansy asked.
“We’re going to Hogsmeade together on Saturday,” you inquired. “So the whole lot is going as well?” Pansy was talking about Harry and Ron of course.
“No, just the two of us alone,” you replied, taking a bite of the chicken on your plate.
“You mean, this is a date?” Daphne exclaimed. “We’re going to help pick an outfit, no questions asked.” She had a stern look that dared you to talk back. As sweet as Daphne is, once her mind is set to something, she doesn't budge. You accepted it and was met with her usual warm smile. Inside, you were ecstatic and couldn't wait for Saturday. Your crush has gone on for too long, and you were tired of waiting.
:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆
Your dorm mates got you up at the crack of dawn. And by crack of dawn, it was actually 10 am at most. They made you change into every outfit they picked out which totaled in 8. You appreciated everything they were doing, but some of the outfits were too much for a day in Hogsmeade. Daphne picked out tennis skirts with cropped argyle sweaters. Pansy picked short dresses that stopped at your mid-thigh and black wool turtlenecks to go over them. They had completely different aesthetics which is what probably made them perfect friends.
You settled on something casual; a thick striped long sleeve polo with light blue jeans and white trainers. It was going to be a nice spring day and you didn't want to wear something that would be too short and you get cold later. Daphne did your hair in two French plaits and Pansy did your makeup modestly. Once you were done, it was noon and you rushed to meet Hermione for your ‘girl date’.
She took the air straight from your lungs. She looked more breathtaking than the night of the Yule Ball. You distinctly remember being incredibly jealous of Viktor Krum and beat yourself up for not asking her before he did. But now, if he was here, you were sure that the famous Quidditch athlete would be jealous of you.
Hermione’s usually wild hair was tamed into smooth wavy curls that framed her delicate face. She wore a floral print button up that was definitely new as you’ve never seen it before. Or did she save it just for you? Her navy jeans hugged her ankles and she donned light pink flats. And probably for the first time since the Yule Ball, she had mascara and lipgloss on. Casual, but perfect.
Your face was flushed, and you weren't sure if she was also blushing or if maybe she was just wearing blush. “Shall we?” You reached out to grab her hands – her soft hands – and waited for her response. She didn't say anything when she laced her fingers with yours and started walking on the path to Hogsmeade. Hermione was about to say that you looked pretty when she tripped over a small rock on the pathway. “Are you okay?” you expressed concern. She was still holding onto your hand as she steadied herself up, “Yeah, I’m fine.”
:。・:*:・゚’★,。・:*:・゚’☆
You snorted and had to hold the butterbeer in your mouth, “Ron did what?” Hermione laughed as she told you how Lavender exploded on Ron for forgetting their anniversary and when he tried to make it up by giving her chocolates that he got from his older brothers, Lavender instantly grew a huge chin that drooped over her neck. Ron had gotten so mad at them and in unison, they told him ‘Why’d you think we’d ever give you real ones?’
“So that’s why no one has seen her for a couple days!” you noted. She was nodding as she laughed. You could only imagine what it was like to see it in person. Poor Lav. You went back and forth talking about whatever went on since the last time you were together.
Hermione went on talking about a new book she read about over the winter holiday. The way she expressed her emotions and passion for it made you fall for the Gryffindor girl more. When you hadn't said anything, she stopped and lowered her head, “I’m boring you, aren't I?”
You sat straight in your chair and fumbled your words before reaching out to grab her hand from across the table, “No, no, no, of course not. I could never be bored of you, I love you.” Your eyes widened. You didn't exactly expect to let it slip out like that, but you studied her reaction to see if you could leave it at that or otherwise. She sat still with a poker face. “Y-you’re my best friend, Mione–”
“I love you, too,” she confessed. “Huh?” Please, please, please tell me I heard her right. You didn't get to fully process what she said because after a few seconds, she gathered all her courage and reached over the table to give you a quick peck on your lips. It would've been a sweet moment hadn't she accidentally knocked her glass over in the process. Everyone in the Three Broomsticks had their eyes on you, Hermione’s face beet red and lowered out of embarrassment. You tried cleaning the mess and out of nowhere, Hermione ran out. Fuck this you thought as you ran after her.
“Mione, wait!” She hadn't gone far and luckily for you, she listened. Her cheeks were rosy and her eyes averted from yours. “Where are you going? Aren’t we on a date?” Confidence had finally kicked in when you asked her. Hermione’s breath hitched. She couldn't see anything in your face that showed you were joking. Because you weren't. “Yes,” she grabbed your hands and started walking towards the other shops in the small village. Until once again, she nearly fell back when she nearly slipped over another rock on the ground. You supported her back up and giggled, “You’re so clumsy.”

Love and Monsters
Steve Harrington x Reader!Henderson
Oneshot
Tumblr media
Y/N Henderson's life was not like any other normal teenager's life, on a very young age her only friends was her brother, Dustin and his friends.. She was not popular in highschool, but she was not a nobody neither.. Y/N was just invisible, lost in the sea of students.. She was almost through highschool though, one day her life was turned upside down, literally and figuratively.. It's been months since the 'thing' happend, but she was still shaken up.
Y/N was laying in bed, My Generation blasting from her stereo.. She was home alone, her mother was out with some friends, her brother was hanging out with 'King Steve'.. Ever since Steve helped them about Dart, she grew closer to Steve but their short lived friendship ended when Dustin left for camp and Steve worked on their family business while she was stuck preparing herself for college.. Y/N misses Steve, his unfunny jokes and oh god--his laugh..
A loud knock startled her, she shot up from her bed, memories of what happend was flashing back to her.. Despite what she tells her friend, she was not okay.. She almost died twice and that opened up trauma's and issues within herself..
Another loud knock startled her, Y/N shakes her head and just ran to the door.. Reaching their front door, her icy hands made contact with the cold steel knob..
It revealed a disheveled Dustin and Steve, she could tell that there were excitement dripping all over them.. Steve was still wearing his sailor work uniform, he looked cute to Y/N but she once threw that thought in the back of her mind..
"What's up?" She questioned the two.
Dustin just smiled and pushed pass her, while Steve was reluctant to go in.. Steve avoided Y/N for almost the whole summer because of the daunting realization that he was catching feelings for her and that scared him.. Y/N was the kind of girl that likes to watch nerdy movies, spend hours playing games with a bunch of kids and save the world two times.. However, Steve was scared, he was still stuck in the unjustified rules of highschool and popularity. . He still wanted to be 'King Steve', but he also wanted to be Y/N's..
"Nice outfit, sailor boy.." Y/N winked and laughs at Steve, he just shakes his head and went inside their house..
Steve made his way to Dustin's room with Y/N right behind him, but before reaching Dustin's room, he passed Y/N's room.. He unconsciously stopped as he looks around, observing every corner of her room.
There were posters plastered all over her walls, books were all around her room in her bed, shelves and even floors.. In the other side she had a small collection of music that made Steve smile.. Because they had the exact same taste, she is the perfect girl.
"If you want to go in, you're free to wander around my room, anytime.."
Steve turned around to face Y/N, he misses her.. How Y/N sarcastic remarks leave her sweet lips or how she rolls her eyes whenever she see something stupid.
"I might just take you up on that.."
"Hm-mm.. You didn't even talk to me when Dustin left, you broke my heart, Steviee.." She jokes, but it sounded a little bitter.
Y/N did get hurt, Steve stopped talking to her when Dustin left, it seems like Steve didn't really like her as much as she thinks he did. Y/N was bored and got stuck just studying and sometimes hanging out with the party.. It was fun but she was looking forward to hanging out with Steve.
"I'm sorry about that, I didn't want to see my old friends hanging out with someone like yo---" Steve stopped his sentence, he didn't mean that.. His mind was a mess, he said those things because he didn't want Y/N finding out his stupid feelings
"Right..Yeah, I get it.."
"Y/N that's not what I me--"
"Cause King Steve shouldn't be hanging out with people like me?Gotcha.."
Steve didn't even had the time to reply, he was met with Y/N's slamming door.. He didn't mean that.. Steve loved hanging out with Y/N, he want to give her something special.. Steve wanted something more from Y/N.. He knew exactly what and he didn't need a reason why but Steve wanted to give Y/N something more..
Y/N was hurt, she didn't know why but Steve words brought devastation to her.. She felt disappointed and upset, Y/N was expecting something special.. She didn't know what or why but she was expecting something more from Steve.
Y/N was dropping off Dustin to the mall where Steve was working, her lips were in a unsual frown.. Y/N wasn't usally like this, she was having a bad week, Steve just hurt her feelings and she was taking it much harder, it was very unsual.. The two Henderson was making their way to the Scoops Ahoy shop, Dustin was rambling about a message he picked up while contacting his girlfriend.
"Are you listening?" Her brother asked as they reach the store.
"Yepp, you should go in now.."
"Y/N, this could be a good thing!"
"I know..If you need my help, you can find me in the food court.."
"Y/N.."
"Yeah, Dus?"
"Are you okay?"
Y/N's mind went blank, she hated lying to her brother but she didn't want to worry anyone.  She laughs and messed Dustin's hair.
"Of course.. Now go, you know where to find me.." With that she left..
Y/N was not okay, the last time she slept was a month ago.. Nightmares kept crawling back to her, she was growing more paranoid by the day.. She was not okay, but she couldn't tell anyone that.. Everyone else is okay, even Wil who had it more rough than her. And to top that up, she was broken hearted by Steve's rejection of their friendship.. Y/N just massaged the bridge of her nose, when will she be fine?
Dustin and Steve was in the corner of the mall with binoculars in their eyes, Steve saw Y/N.. Sitting alone in the corner, a walkman in her ears and a book in hand.. Y/N was mouthing the word as her eyes read every word on that book and Steve couldn't help but feel all giddy and guilty inside.
"You see anything?" Dustin snapped Steve back to their current task.
"Uh, I guess I don't totally know what I'm looking for.'' Steve answered honestly, Y/N distracted him again.
"Evil Russians."
"Yeah, exactly. I don't know what an evil Russian looks like."
"All blond, not smiling."
"Mm-hmm?" Steve's eyes didn't looked for any Russians, his eyes drifted to Y/N spot but she was gone.. Where did she go? He couldn't help but worry, was she talking to someone else?
"Also, look for earpieces, camo, duffel bags, that sort of thing." Dustin added.
"Right, okay, duffel bags." Steve darts his eyes away from Y/N seat but it only fell on a girl he asked out earlier.
"Oh, you've gotta be kidding me." Steve mutters.
"What?" Dustin questioned.
"Anna Jacobi's talking with that meathead Mark Lewinsky."
"If you're not gonna focus, just gimme the binoculars."
Dustin got annoyed by his distracted partner, he should have brought his sister along.. But he knew that Y/N was not okay, she seemed distant and lost in her own mind.. Always spacing out and Dustin can hear her cries from his room, it killed him to see her loving and hyper sister transform into a walking corpse.
"Aw, Jesus Christ, whatever happened to standards?"
"I mean, Lewinsky never even came off the bench." Steve rambled on, annoying Dustin.
"Dude, you are the worst spy in history, you know that?"
The two fought for the binoculars, but they just looked stupid.. Dustin initially gave up and gave the binoculars to Steve.
"I don't get why you're looking at girls. You have the perfect one in front of you."
"Seriously, if you say Robin again..." Steve closes his eyes waiting for Robin's name to come up but it never did.
"No, Y/N.. My sister.."
Steve's heart clenched at the mention of her name, he wants Y/N too.. What can he do? Y/N hates his ass now, he was a jerk and he didn't deserve Y/N.
"No, man, she's not my type." Steve answered while he diverts his eyes away from Dustin.
"I saw you staring at her closed door for about 5 minutes."
Steve eyes grew wide at the realization that Dustin was watching the whole time.. Dustin just shakes his head, if he was asked he'd say that her sister felt the same way..
"She's not even... in the ballpark of what my type is, all right?"
"What's your type again? Not awesome?"
"Thank you."
"Hm."
"For you information, your sister is too sarcastic, she's too nerdy for me.."
"Also, she's too...boyish.."
Beautiful, that's what he wanted to say..
"Dude, that's my sister you're talking about, and besides she's not like that.. She's nerdy but so what? Y/N's also not boyish, she's just secured with her masculinity.."
Dustin's word echoed throughout Steve's system, he already knew that.. But somehow hearing it from another person's perspective made him like you more.
"Y/N's just not my type.." He lied..
Y/N was everything he ever wanted in a girl.
"Thanks for the clarification, Harrington." A voice surprised the two.
Y/N was standing behind them, her arms crossed..  Steve's eyes widen in surprise, did she hear everything? He didn't mean that, what did he mean?
"I didn't mean t--"
"Dustin, if you told me you'll stalk people in malls, I should've brought you to a psychiatrist.." Y/N ignored Steve and just focused on her brother.. Y/N would be lying if she haven't felt more hurt by the words Steve dropped.. She had been listening since the talk about girls came up, Y/N spotted the two doing eccentric things and she decided to eavesdrop.
"No, it's called spying.." Dustin rolled his eyes at her sister remarks while Steve was still frozen..
"What's the difference?" Y/N asked, her eyes still focused on he brother..
"It's just different, okay? Were looking for the--" Dustin stopped and looks around to see if anybody was near..
"Russians?" Y/N continued in a loud tone.
"Shh!" Both Steve and her brother shushed her. Y/N was surpised, she glares at the two and moved closer to them.
"Fine, can I tag along? I'm bored and it'll be nice to be a national hero."
The two looked at each other, Steve was nervous.. Y/N obviously didn't want him around, but this could be a chance for him to apologize to Y/N.
"Sure, you can help us look for russians with dufflebags and camo." Dustin pulled her sister to his side.
"That's kinda racis--"
"No, it's not!" Dustin cuts her sister off making Y/N laugh..
"Whatever you say Dus.."
And that's how she ended up inside a theater with two kids and two drugged teenagere.. Y/N's breathing was heavy, they were captured by Russians just moments ago.. Adrenaline was pumping through her veins, she thought this town was finally normal again, but turns out she was wrong.. Very very wrong..
They needed to get out of this hellish mall, Y/N need to find out if there's still russians lurking out, looking for them.
"The two of you need to stay here and take care of them." Y/N instructs to her brother, she pointed at a floopy Steve and Robin.
"Wait--Where are you going?!" Dustin stopped her by pulling her arm.
"I'm going to see if those fuckers are still looking for us.."
"No, we'll come with you.."
"Dustin, you need to stay here and keep a low profile.."
"Y/N don't be a hero.."
"Hey, Dipshit!I'm not trying to be a hero, what I'm doing is protecting you guys because our two friends are drugged and beaten while we brought a little kid into our mess! And I will do everything to keep you all safe, even if that means I get hurt or killed!"
Dustin knew that there's no talking Y/N out of this, her sister was right.. Taking a deep breath, he just nods and hugs her sister..
"Just please, stay safe.." Dustin was in the verge of tears but Y/N held him tight in her arms.. Dustin pulled back, Y/N gave her brother a comforting smile, she rubbed his cheeks and pat his head.
"I'll be okay, I'm a Henderson for god's sake.."
Dustin laughs as tears stroll in his face, she kissed his forehead and walked away, trying not to attract attention.. Taking a deep breath she left the theater, she'll do whatever it takes to keep her brother and her friends.. Y/N's mind flew to Steve, she was pissed off but she was not sure anymore.. The way he saved them and got beat up for them, she couldn't find a reason to be mad at him, all she can think about is his childlish look and how hot he is in his sailor uniform. Y/N just shakes those thoughts away and tried to focus on her task..
Russians..
Steve and Robin were throwing up in a seperate cubicles, they were getting the drugs out of their system.. Retching and puking can be heard all through out the theater bathroom, Steve groans and flushes the toilet.
"The ceiling stopped spinning for me. Is it still spinning for you?" Robin's voice can be heard from the other cubicle.
"Holy shit. No. You think we puked it all up?" Steve rested his back to the mini wall inside the cubicle..
"Maybe. Ask me something.."
"Interrogate me." Robin said in a mocking russian accent.
"Okay. Interrogate you. Sure. Um... When was the last time you, uh, peed your pants?"
"Today."
"What?"
"When the Russian doctor took out the bone saw."
"Oh... All right, my turn."
"Okay. Hit me."
"Have you... ever been in love?"
"Yep. Nancy Wheeler. First semester, senior year." Steve imitates a gunshot.
"Are you still in love with Nancy?"
"No."
"Why not?"
"I found someone else, she's a little bit better for me.It's crazy. Ever since Dustin got home, he's been saying, 'You know, you gotta find your Suzie. You gotta find your Suzie.' "
"Wait, who's Suzie?"
"It's some girl from camp, I guess his girlfriend. To be honest with you, I'm not 100% sure she's even real."
" But that's not- that's not really the point. That doesn't matter. The point is, this girl, you know, the one that I like, it's somebody that I... didn't even talk to in school. And I don't even know why."
"Maybe 'cause Tommy H. would've made fun of me or... I wouldn't be... prom king. It's stupid. I mean, Dustin's right, it's all just a bunch of bullshit anyways. Because, when I think about it, I should've been hanging out with this girl the whole time."
"First of all, she hates me now because of a stupid thing I said but when we hanged out, we were bonding and shit.. She was perfect for me, she's nerdy, hangs out with kids too much.. She likes the same things I like, her brother is my bestfriend.. Sometimes I wonder if she's real, because she's too perfect."
"Wait--You like Y/N?"
"Yeah, ever since last year.. I like her so damn much, I can't even believe that I said to her that I shouldn't be hanging out with someone like her."
"YOU SAID THAT?" Robin's voice boomed out all over the bathroom, Steve just sighs and slids out of the cubicle..
"Unfortunately, yes.."
Steve slid in to Robins cubicle, she was glaring at him.
"If you ask me, Y/N doesn't deserve someone like me.. She--She's too nice to be caught up in my miserable life.. And besides she would never like me.."
"I think you're still high.."
"No, I'm not.."
"Do you remember what I said about Click's class? About me being jealous and, like, obsessed?"
"Yeah?"
"It isn't because I had a crush on you. It's because... she wouldn't stop staring at you.."
"Mrs. Click?" Robin chuckles and just shakes her head.
"Y/N Henderson, I wanted her to look at me. But... she couldn't pull her eyes away from you and your stupid hair. And I didn't understand, because you would get bagel crumbs all over the floor. And you asked dumb questions. And you were a douchebag. And- And you didn't even like her then and... I would go home... and just scream into my pillow."
"But Y/N's a girl.."
"Steve.."
"Oh.."
"Yeah, now listen..Don't give me the 'she doesn't deserve me' and 'she doesn't like me back' crap.. Y/N was inlove with you since highschool, now you will tell her all about your mushy mushy feelings and you'll two will get married, have kids and you'll have me to thank for. "
"But what about you?"
"Please, I moved on.."
"Really?"
"Hell yeah, with my pretty face?I could find someone in a jiffy!"
The two were laughing when Dustin and Ericka burst into the bathroom.. Annoyance and frustration written all over their face..
"Okay. What the hell?!" Dustin asked very annoyed.
"Dude, we're normal again.."
"That's not the problem now, we need to find Y/N and go with the rest of the party."
"Y/N's not with you?"
"Do you see her?" Erica asked with the normal sass in her voice. Robin rolls her eyes at Erica who just glares at her.
"Where did she go?" Steve ignored Erica's sarcastic question
"She said she'll check the perimeter, but she hasn't come back since." Dustin answered, she was worried for her sister.. In their situation, who wouldn't?
"Shit." Steve and Robin both utter at the same time.
Y/N was changed into a much more inauspicious clothes, it was just some pants and a shirt tucked into it.. She fixed her disheveled hair and wiped her sweat.. She needed to blend in, her eyes wander around the mall.. There were Russians walking around, bviously looking for someone and that someone was them.. All the exits are heavily guarded by guards, there's no way out..
Taking a deep breath she walked back to the theater, praying that her brother and friends was safely still there but before she could even reached the theater, a russian man spotted her..
"I got eyes on one of the target!" The russian said into his earpiece, making Y/N run to the higher level of the mall, her heart racing and she was starting to feel tired.
Y/N just ran until she lost the russian, her breathing was getting shorter by the second..  Y/N's leg was starting to hurt but she ignored it and looked down to see if she can spot her brother..
And there they are, getting chased by guards.. Worries pumped into her brain as they run.. She needed to help them, if not they could get killed.
"Hey stupid spies!I'm right up here, morons!" Y/N screamed at the top of her lungs as she waves her hands around..
Steve and Dustin was horrified as they hide into the counters, Y/N was risking her life for theirs..
The guards that was chasing them made eye contact and targeted Y/N but before they could do anything a car honk.. The russians looked at each other, confused and dazed.. Eleven can be seen controlling the car, she throws it at the bad men and all they could hear were groans..
Y/N felt a surge of relief, she made her way to her brother.. Dustin, Robin, Erica and Steve pop out from behind the counter, steam hissing.. Y/N saw her brother and they all rushed up to hug her..
A tight hug welcomed Y/N, but this hug wasn't just from Dustin.. It was also from Robin, Erica and Steve.. Suddenly they all look up to see the rest of the party.. The hug was cut off by Dustin running to hug Mike and Eleven.
"Lucas?" Erica saw her brother and it made Lucas confuse..
"What are you doing here?"
Y/N who was just taking in deep breaths smiled to herself.. They were safe, but she knew this was not over.. Steve stayed in Y/N side, Robin's word replayed in his mind.. This is his chance to say his undying love to Y/N.
"Y/N?"
"Hmm?" Y/N saw Steve besides her, she was growing tired but Y/N needed to keep thriving for everyone.. Y/N saw that Steve was hesitant, he was nervous and it made her felt nervous too.
"I--I uhh.." Steve mumbles, his tongue was backing out.. Y/N had such a powerful effect on him, to the way she says his name, and everytime Y/N calls him, his heart skips a beat.. It sounds corny, but it was true..
"What?Do you need a speak and spell?" Y/N joked, it didn't help a struggling Steve.. He started to grew more anxious, he needed to get this off his chest.. This could be the last time they all see each other alive, there's no telling what could happen to them.
Y/N was just staring at him
"I have something to confess---"
Steve was cut off by El who was in pain and grunting in the floor..  They all ran to her aid and helped her with the pain she was going through.. Steve slightly curses at himself, maybe this was not a great time for a love confession.. He needed to focus on surviving this hellish adventure.. Again
It finally ended.. Y/N was relieved, it was over.. They were safe, Y/N and Dustin were sitting in the back of an ambulance, a blanket around them as they hug each other..
"If this shit happens again, we're moving.." Y/N jokes.. Dustin chuckled, maybe they should.. However, the adventures were growing more fun and dangerous..
"Nah, we love being heroes.."
Y/N laughs as she held her brother tighter, she fixed his hair and wipe some dirt off his face.. Even if he's old now, he'll always be Y/N's baby brother.. She smiled at the memory of Suzie and Dustin singing in the middle of mayhem and chaos.
"Stooop, I'm all grown up now!" He stood up and made his way to his friends..
"Don't get too far, lover boy!" Y/N shouted causing Dustin's cheek to blush..
Y/N sighs at the sight of her brother walking away from her, this is the last time she'll save the world, she was tired of monsters.. Y/N was just enjoying the cold air of the night when someone cleared their throat.
"Hello to you Harrington.." Y/N smiled at Steve, he was just standing infront of her.. Y/N can't help but feel giddy when Steve's in his sailor outfit.. It saddens her that Steve was still stuck in his highschool mindset..
"I have something to tell you.." Steve mumbles incoherently, but Y/N understood it.. Steve was always nervous when Y/N's around, he remember the first time he saw Y/N..
Steve saw Dustin on the street asking for help, and he didn't believe at him first but he was soon convinced by how Dustin was nervous and scared.. They pulled up at the Henderson's residence, that's where he first saw--no that's not the right word..
That's where he first acknowledged Y/N..
She was sitting on the porch steps on her pajama's, there were dirt on her face and her hairs a mess.. Y/N's face lighten up when he saw Dustin getting out of the car..
"Hey Dus------What is he doing here?" Y/N's face dropped when he saw Steve also getting out of the car.
"He's our back up.." Her brother answered short and continue walking into the entrance of the basement.
"I'm back up..'' Steve said cocky at Y/N, she just scoffs and followed Dustin..
"For a guy with a black eye, you're awfully confident.."
"That's what seeing a pretty girl like you does to me.." Steve didn't know what he ate that time but he had this whole new confidence when he started talking to Y/N.. However, Y/N didn't seem impressed to his corny jokes and pick up lines, she was always scoffing and rolling her eyes..
"Yeah, you said that too when we were inside..That" Y/N's voice pulled him back to the present.. Y/N gestured at the burning mall infront of them.
"Yeah.." Steve cleared his throat, he opens his mouth, but the words won't come out he's chokin', how, everybody's jokin' now, the clocks run out, times up, over, blaow   .
"Are you gonna say something?" Y/N was starting to get nervous, did she do something to make Steve act strange? He was shaking, the sweat on his forehead is flowing like the Niagara Falls.. That's not attractive yet for some reason she found it hot..
"Oh--Yeah--Uhh.." He failed to say words again, why can't he just go straight to the point?
Robin who was with the rest of the party was staring at a stuttering and nervous Steve.. The rest started to notice even Jonathan and Nancy who was in each others arms..
"When is he gonna tell my sister that he likes her?" Dustin ponder as he stares at the two..
"I don't know, he's taking forever just uttering one sentence.." Lucas pitched in making the others laugh..
"I thought Steve was a suave and cool guy?" Mike jokes causing some of them to laugh, some was just quiet.. They were still having a hard time grasping all of this, especially Max..
"He's a nerd just like you guys.." Nancy answered, they all shake their heads as they watch Steve nervously fidgets..
"Alright, I finally had enough.." Robin whispers, the party turned to Robin, carefulky watching to what she had under her sleeves..
"HEY Y/N!" Robin shouts..
Y/N broke her gaze with Steve and brought it to a shouting Robin, not far from them.. Steve just froze to his place, panic started blaring out through his mind..
"WHAT STEVE'S TRYING TO SAY IS HE FREAKING LIKES YOU!" Robin shouted, and it all made them freeze.. Y/N blinked rapidly, did she hear that right? Steve l-likes her? What? When? How? Where?
Steve felt embarrased, he wanted the crawl in a hole and die.. Robin was dead to him, how could she do that? Now Y/N's gonna start to avoid him, she obviously doesn't like her back.
"I-Is that true?" Y/N finally asked the question she was dying to ask, she never really thought about Steve that way.. Fine, she's not gonna lie, there were some thoughts about Steve that kept her up at night..
"I can explain--If you don't feel the same it's totally fi----" Steve panicked and randomly said any excuses he can think off, not giving Y/N a chance to speak..
Y/N rolled her eyes at how Steve was rambling on, she smiled and stands up.. Pulling Steve sailor outfit, she kissed him..
Steve pressed his lips harder on Y/N, he wanted this kiss to happen since he first saw her.. And now it's happening, Y/N puts her arm around Steve's neck.. This was her first kiss and she was glad that it was to Steve.. They both kissed as the burning Star Court crumbles infront of them.  Y/N didn't knew that you can find love and monsters in this terrifying situation..
Dustin groaned at the sight of her sister and bestfriend kissing, he wanted to vomit and scoop his eyes out.. This was not a sight for sore eyes..
"Ugh!I don't want to watch my sister exchange salivas with Harrington!" Dustin sigh under his breath
"Get used to it, you'll be seeing a lot of him.." Robin teased making Dustin die inside.
"Dammit!"
Y/N was just thinking that some people lost someone special, Eleven lost Hopper.. Max lost Billy and the rest will wake up in the morning with terrible memories haunting them everyday, they can no longer feel the assurance that they're safe in the quiet town they grew up to. They knew everything that lies withing the depths of this ground, all the horrible things that Hawkin Labs brought.. Chief Hopper and Billy Hargrove died for them, they were heroes.. And the sad part is, no one will ever know.. Those who deserves to be recognized is no longer here, the heroine act they did save the world yet the world doesn't even know about them.. But Y/N and the rest knows that the sacrifices they made won't go to waste, they'll do everything in their power to keep whatever haunts this eerie town at bay.
I found this highly nice but cringey at the same time so bear with it, I also wanted to update my series about James Potter but I just can't seem to end it ughhhhh..Anyways, I hope you guys like this one..

Timothée Chalamet x Reader
𝑷𝒂𝒖𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔.
。・:*:・゚
Drizzles of water began coating your body as you rushed to your best friend's porch, hurriedly knocking on the wooden door.
The extra holiday break from school allowed you to spend more time with Pauline, meaning: chaotic sleepovers
“Hello?”
You looked up meeting a pair of green eyes you hadn't seen in a long while. “Timothée?”
Once the slender figure came to the realization of who was waiting at his front step, his mouth went agape mirroring yours.
You both had been close since you were little. You became friends with Pauline in middle school and met Timothée through her. From then on you were a trio and would do everything together, but that all changed.
Him, being three years older than you meant that he'd go to college first and in the end, there would simply not be any time for you both to be together. You did try to hang out once every two weeks but his college was way too far and he needed to spend his time focussing on his studies. It ended in a bad note, with many hurtful words shared.
Before you knew it, Timothée had you in bone-crushing embrace  “I haven't seen you in months, more than a year maybe! God, I missed you.”
“Why didn't you tell me you came back?” you couldn't hide the slight disappointment of him not thinking about letting you know. “I wanted to but I switched phone numbers and my sister wanted me to surprise you instead. I just didn't know I was going to see you this soon.”
Though you both shared your relief in seeing each, there was some strange tension in the air.
“I gotta visit my aunt right now but we should celebrate tomorrow or something.” He suggested, breaking the silence.
“Yeah totally. I'm sleeping over anyways so we'll probably see each other after dinner. Just be careful, the weather seems to be getting worse.”
“Oh yeah of course. If you need some clothes you can get some from my room, they're in a box on my bed. I know that Pauline's clothes are too small for any human being to wear.”
You giggled at his over-exaggeration nodding “Thanks. Stay safe.”
Once the door shut you felt your mood change. It's not like you weren't happy to see him, you were, but not being able to have the same connection you once had made your heartache.
“DJ Paulina in the house mother fuckers!”
You jumped at your best friend's sudden outburst but laughed nevertheless.
“Holy shit, you're wetter than the pacific ocean!”
You roller your eyes “Really? Damn, I wonder why. It's alright though, Timothée allowed me to borrow one of his shirts.”
“Wait you already saw Timothée?”
“Yeah, he just left.”
Paulina grimaced slightly knowing how hard it might've been for two introverts to reunite after a long period of time, let alone after they had a fight last time they were together. She quickly changed the subject not wanting to upset you.
That didn't mean she wouldn't plan on rebuilding your bond.
۵
The snaps of thunder kept you awake and the heavy drops of rain overtook your mind.
As the time pasted you began wondering what would happen if there was a monster under your bed, if a ghost yanked you by your leg, or if the shadow of the hanging coat was actually a person.
Full-on scaring yourself.
And Pauline's sleep talking was not helping the situation.
Both of you spent the day baking, eating and watching movies. Though it's not how most teenagers take up the opportunity of an empty house, it was more than enough for you two.
What was irritating you at this precise moment was the fact that you were exhausted during the day and still are, except you, can't bring yourself to actually fall asleep.
Creaking sounds were heard throughout the room as your feet made contact with the wooden floor.
You grumbled making your way to the kitchen for a cup of fresh cold water.
The bright electronic clock on the stove displayed the time. 2:23 A.M.
You were so dazed and distracted by the clock that before you could fill your glass with water, the cup fell on the counter.
You felt your heart stop the second the loud sound emitted throughout the quiet space, fearing you'd break your best friend's parent's glass. But once you realized that everything was still stable, you proceeded to finish your plan.
“What are you doing still awake?”
Your body jumped at those words. You turned to see Timothée with hooded eyes and slumped figure, clearly more than half asleep.
“Sorry, I'm a light sleeper and the thunder was keeping me awake.”
“Do you want to sleep with me?”
He smiled softly with a droopy gaze
Not gonna lie, initially some inappropriate thoughts crossed your mind, but vanished once you remembered how every time you had trouble falling asleep, you'd get in his bed and he'd make conversation until you fell asleep.
“Sure.”
Timothée was probably too out of it to understand why it had taken you so look to answer, which you were grateful for.
He lazily intertwined your fingers and led you to his room.
It looked the same as before, maybe some items we're missing so he'd be able to decorate his new apartment, but other than that, still the same.
You hesitantly laid down turning your body away from the curly-headed boy. You felt yourself heating up as last time you shared a bed you were a quite innocent 15-year-old, and to be fair you've always seen him as a bother figure.
But two years have passed and he was now 20, it felt like being with a stranger even though he wasn't.
“You alright?”
He mumbled quietly
“Can I ask you something?”
“Go ahead.” You chewed your lip anxiously. You've never been good at confronting people.
“Is there a reason why you got mad at me when you left. All I remember was you telling me how we couldn't be friends because of all the work you had and how you couldn't handle too many things at the same time. But in the end, you suddenly got mad at me and it ended in a huge fight.”
You could tell that Timothée was now fully awake, definitely not expecting you to mention the topic at this time of night.
“Well, in all honestly I knew you wouldn't want to give up on our friendship. I've always seen you as a loyal strong friend and I didn't want to disappoint you by continuously bailing out on our plans.”
Thought his solution was a stupid one, you understood what he meant. You would most definitely get let down many times and eventually get mad at him, even if it wasn't fully his fault.
“I understand. Just-- Just don't do that again. I'd rather have a relationship with you even if we rarely saw each other, instead of not seeing you at all. I miss being with you.”
Timothée's heavy arm hugged you closer to him. So close you could feel his gentle heartbeat against your back.
“I'm not as much of a mess I was back in the first year of college. I have more spare time, even if college is too far we can face time and meet once a month.”
It was nice to witness his change in attitude regarding the situation, he's now more open-minded and optimistic.
“Is that why you seemed so tense when you saw me today?”
You suddenly felt yourself redden from slight embarrassment “I mean yeah. I kinda overreact a lot, but you know that. I didn't even recognize you, you've changed and I didn't know how to feel.”
You felt chest shake from a deep chuckle as you played with his fingers “Is that a good thing?”
He was making you flustered and he knew it.
“I mean, yeah. You look mature for a 20-year-old. When you were 18 you still had your baby face- it's not a bad thing at all, but now you, um, okay I'm just going to stop talking.”
Once again, Timothée's body shook slightly from his laughter which eventually died down.
There was silence once again, the downpour was hitting the window aggressively but managed to make you feel calm. The heat that radiated from the man's body was wrapping you in a warm blanket, his cold breath tickling your neck.
“How do you see me?
The silence was halted by your simple question “What do you mean?” his raspy voice asked, not understanding the question very well.
“Before you said that you saw me as a loyal friend. How do you see me now?”
Timothée turned your body to face him “Well, you've changed as well. You don't look like a little kid anymore.”
You hummed in response staring into his eyes. The moonlight was shining through the window behind Timothée, illuminating his hair, making it look as though he was wearing a halo around his head.
“Has anything interesting happened while I was gone? House renovations, dead grandma, boyfriends..?”
You had to cover your mouth from bursting out laughing “How the hell do you go from dead grandma to boyfriends?”
The boy shrugged his shoulders waiting for an answer “I had a boyfriend for a little while but it didn't work out.”
Timothée nodded for you to keep going
“He treated me differently when we were around his friends, kinda like he didn't want me. We would get into a lot of arguments and I just wasn't happy. So I ended it.”
He took your hand caressing it carefully with his thumb. You knew he was trying to make you feel better though you weren't actually sad about the breakup. You decided not to say anything against it since his action-filled your heart with butterflies.
“He's an asshole for doing that.”
“Yeah well, most of them are.”
There was a small pause in the air before Timothée spoke up again
“I wouldn't do that to you.”
You were taken aback from his sudden confession. You expected him to joke around about some dumb stereotypes.
“If you were my boyfriend, or just in general?” you asked genuinely curious to which he answered:
“Both.”
You being the anxious human being you are, decided to play it off as a joke. Like always.
“Yeah right, you would never date me, you might as well be one of those extra frat boys that-”
“Why would you assume I wouldn't date you.”
You were becoming more and more agitated, not fully grasping the meaning of his words, and why he was now saying it.
“I've always adored you. The reason why I never said anything is because I'm three years older than you and didn't want to make you uncomfortable.”
“Why are you saying this now?” You shuttered out as he moved closer to your body.
“I didn't realize how much I loved you until we separated. Now I'm realizing how much time I wasted.”
Timothée began breathing heavily, his eyes focusing on the different features your face held.
“Would you date me now?”
He nodded, not trusting his voice to speak. “Even if we wouldn't see each other often?”
He nodded once again, this time speaking “I haven't seen you in two years and I still have feelings for you, they won't go away even if I tried.”
Timothée let his fingers gently brush against your lips studying them thoroughly making your mind hazy.
You were so focussed on each other that the background noise was now muffled.
Your mouths were agape wanting one thing and one thing only.
“Can I kiss you?”
He whispered breathlessly. If he wasn't studying you so closely he would have missed your little nod.
But he didn't miss it.
The second the small gesture was caught, was the second his lips made contact with yours.
The kiss was heated and desperate, your eyebrows furrowed hopelessly from the connection. Tongues soon intertwining as Timothée held himself on top of you for better control of the situation. Not giving you room to escape.
You sighed through your nose not being able to break from the kiss, not wanting to break from the kiss.
His front pressed flush against yours, allowing his hands to travel all over your body with no hesitation.
You mumbled Timothée's name against his lips before you broke apart. “Did I go too far?”
You smiled at his worried state “No, I loved every second of it.”
He copied your smile resting his forehead on yours “Sorry, I could help myself.”
He laid on his back before you cuddled to his side, leg wrapped with his and head resting on his shoulder.
Timothée observed your crimson cheeks and swollen lips. He wanted to tease you about it but he knew damn well that he looked the exact same.
Sleep eventually took over you. The soothing sound of the storm was the last thing you heard, and the motion of Timothée's chest calmly rising and falling was the last thing you felt.

song: driver’s license by olivia rodrigo
word count: 2.5k
genre + warnings: angst; swearing, fear of driving, reminiscing in old memories
pronouns used: she/her
a/n: this was orignially supposed to just be an imagine inspired by the song, not apart of the song series but it fits too well to not change oikawa’s song. i also wrote this for @kybabi bc i love her :D n e wayz enjoy :) (part 2)
"So here you're going to turn and he'll make you do a parallel park in the street. You remember how to do that right?" Oikawa asked as he guided you to the next turn. As you turn the steering wheel, you spot a crowded curbside.
"No, can you please please park for me? I hate parallel parking," You pleaded.
"Only because you asked so nicely," He teased.
Ever since you told your best friend that you wanted to learn how to drive, Oikawa never let it go whenever you wanted to hang out. Having you drive him around for practice and giving you tips as you went. He's helped you a ton while you drove around, the only issues you had were parallel parking and merging onto the highway.
"Maybe we should try the highway again," Oikawa said after you two switched seats.
"Are you asking for a death wish?" You joked. "I drive too slow and I'm scare to merge into lanes."
"We can practice on smaller freeways if you want," He asks.
"No," You growled.
It was always a terrifying thing to drive on the highway. You always saw those horrid accidents and feared being in one. Oikawa would always put his hand on your thigh as you merged to calm you down. Just having him be there was enough to get you to get onto the highway. All your fears just faded with him beside you.
Just having this intimate driving lesson with him was enough for you. You grew to fall in love in your best friend. A cliché thing, yet you couldn't say anything. Only you and your girl friends knew about your big crush. It was a funny thing, falling for your childhood best friend. Iwaizumi always joked about you doing so but you never admitted to liking Oikawa. What would that do to your friendship?
Today was the day, it was your test day. The scariest thing you anticipated was finally here. The thing you practiced days on end with Oikawa. The thing that could either make or break you. Today, you'd either come out with your license or you'll be walking home.
The nerves crept up your body like spiders leaving a trail of anxiety webs. You bounced you leg as you waited in the lobby looking out for your driving instructor. As your sweaty palms go to check the time, you notice a text message from Oikawa.
butthead: hey! good luck on your test today!
That's what cooled you down. A simple saying of good fortune will help, right? Sure enough, the test was a breeze, minus the parallel parking as it was the one mistake you got. You happily drove home to tell the news to your parents.
"Have you told Tooru yet?" Your mom asked.
"I'll wait until my actual driver license to prove to him I got it," You smiled.
"You like him don't you?" Your mom gestured to the joy on your face. "I can tell."
"No," You looked away from your mom as she raised her eyebrow. "Okay, maybe but you can't say anything. I'm going to my room now." She chuckled as you dragged you feet to your room.
Two weeks passes and you finally received your license in the mail. You smiled happily down at your new card as you walked outside the school building. You looked up to search for your best friend. Your eyes scanned the courtyard before landing on Iwaizumi. Assuming Oikawa was nearby, you headed towards him.
"Hey Iwa, where's Oiks?" You asked. Iwaizumi raised up his hand and pointed across to the gate. You looked over to find Oikawa talking to Kasumi, a classmate of yours.
"He's asking her to go on a date with him again," Iwaizumi says.
Again? He's done it before?
"Are they dating?" You ask.
"Not yet, Oikawa wants to ask her to be his girlfriend on the date," Iwa explains. "What's that?" He points to your hands as you fiddled with the corner of your driver's license.
"Oh," You said solemnly. "I got my license."
You waved goodbye to your childhood friend before going into he parking lot. Without thinking, you started the car and just began to drive. Out of the school and onto who knows where. Your mind grew blank as you drove.
How could he not mention Kasumi to you? He used to tell you everything but lately he'd been so distant. Maybe that's why he hasn't texted you all week, you thought. Who could blame him for liking Kasumi? She's so pretty and not to mention how smart she is. She's the class representative and she's one of the nicest girls around.
You fell for the one man you shouldn't have. It was too late to even confess how you felt. He was already falling for another while you were left behind. You felt a sharp pain in your chest as you drove by familiar buildings.
The laundromat where you and Oikawa would go to help with the laundry. You both would end up messing around and your parents would have to kick you two out. You and Oikawa would go across the street to the convenience store to buy steamed buns.
He doesn't like you.
The library where you would wait for Oikawa to finish practice so you two could study together. He'd bring you a bottle of tea and some sort of snack to keep you from burning out. Those study dates where you'd stay until the library was closed.
Give up, stop thinking of him.
The ramen restaurant where Oikawa would take you if he won a game. It was a great celebration and you two had made so many memories there. You two had gone there so often, he convinced the owner that you were his girlfriend.
Let him go.
All the feelings you had for him began to ache in your heart as you reminisced in the memories. You gripped tighter on the wheel as you saw an highway exit. "Fuck," You whispered as you merged into the fast lane. Suddenly all those fears you had of driving, just disappeared. You felt this peace as your eyes locked on the long highway. It was like, nothing hurt anymore. Your tensed shoulders relaxed, yet you felt tears roll down your cheeks. You took deep breaths as you drove attempting to stop your tears.
Soon enough, driving on the highway had shifted from a phobia to an escape. Everyday after school, rather than meeting up with Oikawa and Iwaizumi before practice, you'd drive on the highway and on backroads. It was the only thing that kept you sane when you see Kasumi with Oikawa together.
You became accustomed to the fast pace of the highways. Occasionally you'd speed if you felt some type of pain grow in your chest. You'd blast music to drown out any thoughts or feelings you had. You knew Oikawa could never be yours, so why bother crying over him, right? The thought of being around him began to make you uncomfortable. If you kept your distance, you wouldn't get hurt. You wouldn't be considered a distraction.
butthead: hey?
you: what's up?
butthead: it's been a while since i've seen you :( i miss my best friend
you: are you sure you mean to text me or iwa?
butthead: you, y/n i miss hanging with you
butthead: you didn't come to the restaurant after our game
you: i was busy, sorry
butthead: :(
you: i gotta go, ill talk to you later
Oikawa sighed at his phone and looked across the table to Iwaizumi. "Have you talked to Y/n lately?" He asked.
"Yeah, she borrowed gas money from me," Iwa says before slurping his noodles.
"Gas money? She got her license?" Oikawa tilts his head. "How long has it been?"
"A month? You got caught up with Kasumi," Iwaizumi says.
"Hmph," Oikawa huffed as he sipped his drink. He'd been spending so much time with Kasumi that he forgot about you. Or was it, you started to forget about him? He glances at the window behind Iwa and noticed a familiar car parking.
You parked your car across the street of the restaurant next to a convenience store. You quickly got out and went into the store looking for something to drink. As you began to scan the fridge, you heard the door open. "Y/n?" You turned to find Oikawa.
"What are you doing here?" You turned back to grab a soda.
"Iwa came to eat with me since you didn't make it," Oikawa says. "He's still there, did you want to join us?"
"No thanks, I'm kinda busy at the moment," You say dully. Oikawa goes to speak but you had already walked to go pay for your drink. "Later Oikawa."
"Oikawa?" He watched as you left the store and into your car. He follows suit and watched you speed off. Oikawa quickly makes his way back to the restaurant and seats himself disgruntled. "Y/n called me Oikawa..."
"That's your name isn't it?" Iwaizumi raised his eyebrow.
"She always calls me Oiks or Ru, never Oikawa," He says. "Did I do something wrong?"
Iwaizumi shrugged even though he knew the answer well enough. After Oikawa had asked Kasumi to be his girlfriend, your demeanor had changed. Iwa was the first to notice too. Typically, after school you'd see the duo before practice started, yet since you learnt Oikawa had eyes for another, you stopped.
One day, Iwaizumi decided to follow after you when school was over. He trailed behind as you walked to your car door. You pulled open the door handle only for Iwa to shut the door immediately after. You turned to find Iwaizumi with scrunched eyebrows. "What's wrong with you?" He asked. "Why haven't you came by before practice?"
"No reason, I'm just busy," You lied.
"Liar, what's wrong?" He asks yet you remained silent. "I won't tell Shittykawa just tell me why you're being so distant...and also why your eyes are always puffy."
You paused before answering, "I'm just...upset with Oikawa...and Kasumi.."
"Do you..?" Iwaizumi implied. You nod and looked at the ground. "What have you been doing since you found out about them?"
"Driving," You sighed. "Just driving...It's keep me off my mind all week. I bear the fact that he looks so happy with her and not...me. God I'm so stupid."
"Don't say that-" Iwa started but you immediately lashed out.
"It's true! I was too late to confess! And I fell for the one boy I can't have!" You felt tears well up in your eyes. "I can't even drive by certain places without getting upset. I take backroads and I avoid them completely. I hate driving by his house but it's the only way to my own. He just treats me like another fucking fan girl! I'm just so stupid for falling for my best friend." Since that day, Iwaizumi kept to his promise. Not word about your feelings were said to Oikawa.
butthead: hey are you busy right now ?
you: no, what's up?
butthead: can you help me with something?
you: depends
butthead: meet me at the library so i can tell you more :)
You locked you phone and tossed it into your passenger's seat. You looked up to see the light change to green, allowing you to speed into the highway. Your hands rested at the bottom of the wheel as you drove. The slow, lo-fi music surrounded your car as you drove which let you get out of your trapped mind.
It was a crazy thought to think that you and Oikawa were so excited to drive together. Yet now all you want to do is drive alone. You turned up the volume of your music as you merged into your neighborhood. You leaned further back into your seat as you were driving around the suburbs. You glance at the white cars lining one street leading to the library. You scoffed at the sight as a repressed memory resurfaced.
"Why do you like white cars so much?" You chuckled.
"Because they look clean and nice? Sorry I don't like your basic silver car," Oikawa raised his hand to block your face.
"I'm basic? Says the one who wants an automatic," You pretend to throw up to mock him.
"For someone who can't drive yet, you talk big," Oikawa pats your head only to be smacked a few seconds late. Oikawa drapes his arm over you as you walked down the street to the library The entire walk was filled with mocking and talking about the future. "Let me teach you how to drive, that way we could go out together more."
You finally arrived at the library, spotting Oikawa before parking the car. He watches as you easily parallel park and is stunned by how casual you are as you drove. You set out and approach him. Oikawa holds out a snack to you but you politely refuse.
"Let's go inside?" He asks. You shrugged and followed him in. Rather than sitting beside him like usual, you sat across from him. You still had those feelings for him but you couldn't stand sitting next to him. Your heart was pounding out of your chest as you anticipated his next words. "I was wondering if you could help me with Kasumi?"
Ouch.
"With what?" You ask.
"I want to give her a gift, right?" He starts. "A gift that goes along with me telling her I love her."
He loves her?
Your heart aches but you decide to move past that. "Isn't it a bit early to say I love you?"
"Well, we were long time friends before we started dating and I feel like it's the right time to, y'know?" Oikawa leans forward on the table. "Can you help me find a gift?"
This feels familiar. Helping him find a gift for a girl that isn't you. It seems like anytime he does have a crush he'd come to you for advice. This is the first time that you didn't want to give into his favors.
"No," You sighed.
"No? Wait why not?" He raised his eyebrows at you.
"Because," Say it. "Because I-"
"Because?" Oikawa tilts his head at your response.
"Because I can't keep doing things like this for you," You stood up and began heading for the entrance. Oikawa followed afterwards as he could see the pain in your voice.
"Y/n, talk to me, we haven't talked in forever. Tell me what's wrong," He says as you exit the library. You ignore his voice and reached for your car door. He grabs your arm but you shove him off.
"Would you just- leave me alone?" You snapped. "I don't want to help you, okay?"
"What did I do?" Oikawa was beyond confused at your response.
"I- You- Ugh! Just go away, I don't want to see you!" Your voice cracked as the suppressed feelings began to rise again.
"Why not!" Oikawa grabbed your arm again, this time you weren't able to break free.
"Because I fucking loved you idiot!" You yelled. Hot tears streamed down your cheeks as you stopped struggling in his hold. Oikawa paused and stared at you in wonder.
"You...loved me?" He asked.
"I still fucking love you! God, I hate you- I just- Let go!" You pulled off him. "I'm leaving. If you try to stop me, I'm never speaking to you again." You wiped your tears as you entered your car. Driving off into the neighborhood, crying at the red lights knowing you could've ruined your whole friendship.
Oikawa watched as you sped off. Those words lingered in his ear as he stared down at his hand where you let go. His mind was lost in thought, how could his best friend love him? Was he that blind that he couldn't see your admiration? "She...loves me?" He thought.

We Met Within This Screen (chapt. 4)
[Donnie x fem reader]
sfw, chapt. 3, pt. 4 here
Tumblr media
Sighing, you set your phone face-down after sending your last text to Bo. What an abrupt end to something that had been so good. You were confused, a little taken aback and honestly sad. You'd thought the two of you were getting along well. Bo was smart, well-spoken, funny, and all around, a really nice person. He listened to your venting and seemed like he had a response to everything. Always, he had some random fact to hit you with whether it was about biology, chemistry, astronomy, language—you weren't sure where he got all his knowledge from. He'd never mentioned school, if he went. He didn't mention a lot about himself, actually.
People come and go, someone had once told you. You guessed that he was one of those passersby, as much as you wanted it to be more.
More?
When had you started thinking that? More what?
You were tempted to pick your phone back up, to check and see if there were any new messages. Not that you could expect much; Bo had been so curt about his exit from your friendship that it was left at his last text, "Again, I'm sorry." You wanted to say something, but what was there to say? It was his decision. A sudden, uncharacteristic, and frankly odd decision, but still, his. Thinking back on it, you tried to remember any instance you might have crossed a line, or maybe said something you shouldn't have. That's what made you open up the messages again, scrolling up and up and looking for anything weird, but finding nothing of the sort. It had all been normal up until when you texted him about the clamor you'd heard outside your apartment building. And then it went flat—he didn't even respond to it, just said his apology and his goodbye before going offline.
You wanted to take your mind off it with a game, but as you looked through your list and saw the one you and him had played together, you knew it was near ruined for you. It just wasn't the same to play alone or with your acquaintances. An otherwise boring game made fun by one particular person, but now it was barely what it used to be.
Unfortunate.
The next morning might have felt more normal if it weren't for the fact that everyone was pretending like it was. For the sake of secrecy from their father. As far as Donnie knew, Splinter still didn't know anything was or had been going on, and he intended to keep it that way, too. He wanted to tell his father, he did, but all he saw coming of that was reprimanding, or at the very least an awkward discussion, and possibly, time in the Hashi. He was already feeling the aftermath of his actions; he didn't need any more. Especially as he checked the messaging app one last time, only to find it empty, aside from her goodbye.
Donnie stood at the kitchen counter, mask off and groggy as usual, scrounging for something to eat. Maybe a cup of coffee (if they had any), which he was looking for when Mikey bounced in. Normally, his brothers would avoid him when he was in one of his "moods". He hadn't a passionate temper like Raph but a slow-brewing one, the kind that festers until it's alleviated or boils over. Cold quiet was his thing.
But Donnie knew why he was here. So did Mikey. He had that familiar glint of mischief in his eye.
There was no coffee, so he settled for some kind of pastry they'd found while looking through the dumpsters. Really, the item was fine—only the packaging and appearance was defective. It was a wonder just how much food grocers wasted over arbitrary reasons, but regardless, he was happy to oblige his secret sweet tooth.
From the corner of his eye he could see Mikey waiting eagerly for him to turn around and regard him. To listen to whatever he was about to talk his ear off with. Their youngest brother was more often than not bright-eyed in the morning, something Donnie's morning fog could not always entertain. He picked at his food at the counter for a moment, mind wandering back to his night and subsequently,  the unresolved feelings. Dreadfully unresolved, he groaned inside. And they probably would continue to be, as after sleeping on what had happened the previous night, thinking about her, he realized something that made his face flush. Oh, no.
He froze in his place, suddenly very awake. He looked over his shoulder and found Mikey was distracted rummaging through the food for his own breakfast, and with a faint cringe, tried to sneak out of the kitchen undetected. No way would he admit to Mikey's words on the rooftop that night, the ones that made him flinch with embarrassment. The same ones that bounced around his head despite all attempts to stuff it down. "You like her, bro."
Things involving him could never be simple, could they?
Abandoning his plate, Donnie began tip-toeing out of the room right behind Mikey. His foot hit the leg of a chair and caused a creak—he winced. As he thought, Mikey looked back, "Why are you sneaking around? You didn't finish your breakfast. Can't go on patrol on an empty stomach, dude."
Before Donnie could even answer, he continued in a whisper, "Plus—"
"Whatever it is, Mikey, not now," he cut his brother off, "last night was the end of it, alright? You need to let it go." It sounded harsher than he would have preferred, but he felt the need to drill it into Mikey's skull that it was over, that it was just something he'd have to deal with. There were a lot of things they dealt with despite not liking it. With time, he'd forget—more accurately, be able to ignore— and maybe he could find the same enjoyment in his brothers once again. That sort of friendship.  But at the moment, it was ruined for him—he got a taste of something more and it was taken away what felt like second later.
Mikey's face fell. Donnie couldn't stand that, seeing him upset over something he'd said. He had a bit of a soft spot for their youngest, no doubt. Just wasn't always obvious.
"Aren't you afraid you'll regret it?" he asked, voice soft.
Fear was a strong word, but of course Donnie was anxious. It was the thing holding him back from being able to simply compartmentalize everything, to put it in a box and on the metaphorical "deal with this later because it's uncomfortable right now" shelf. Or to deal with it at all, as ignoring his problems with studying and unrelated research and experimentation wasn't exactly prime management. He knew that.
After a while of thought, Donnie was able to give him an answer. "Well…I mean, how could I not be?" he inquired in return before leaning out of the doorway to scan the lair. Everyone was either in their room, the dojo, or there, in the kitchen. Mikey has always made him feel most comfortable, and he was sure that was the case for the other three, just that they had other ways of showing it. He was certainly easy to talk to; if Donnie weren't so careful of his mouth and what came out of it, he could probably spew way more to him than he liked. Mikey could come through sometimes, though, which prompted him to keep going, "It was a big thing for me. We've been disconnected from everything else for so long that it was just...exciting, to get a look into what it's like. Being 'regular', you know?"
Mikey sat down on one of the bar stools, feet idly shuffling against the floor as he folded his arms and rested on them. "You didn't hear it from me, but I'm a little jealous," he said playfully, but Donnie was aware that it was the case. "Maybe I'm pushing you to go after her because I'm trying to live vic–vicrous–v–…"
Donnie smiled, he couldn't help it. "'Vicariously'?" he suggested.
"Yeah! That," Mikey beamed, nodding. "You get what I mean."
"I understand."
The conversation died off soon after as Donnie decided to get breakfast over with and do whatever needed to be done before they left for patrol that night, darkness falling earlier due to the upcoming winter. It wasn't too cold for them to be out yet, though, so that still meant a chilly patrol in the Autumn breeze. He hated the cold.
As Donnie was making himself busy at a circuit board in his lab, he heard the beads in the doorway shift, and to his surprise, Splinter came shuffling in.
"Sensei?"
He put down his soldering iron, spinning around in his chair. "Something the matter?"
Splinter ran his fingers along a shelf on the wall as he wandered by, careful to not disturb any of the items lining it. Beakers, recently-repaired electronic parts, projects put on pause, things that would loathe to be broken.
"There is always something," Splinter replied enigmatically, "I would not be here if that weren't true. Would you agree?"
 I'm compromised!
Donnie had a strong but hidden dislike for vague speaking, even if he did it himself sometimes. When spoken to you it's much more bothersome.
Splinter waited for his answer, looking at him expectantly. "Donatello?"
"Yeah, um…yes, I would—I would agree. I suppose. So...what is it again?" Damn his stutter, he couldn't get away with anything, hardly. He was only able to stifle it just enough.
Picking a random pipette on the desk next to Donnie, Splinter studied the green liquid close for a second before his nose twitched, and he put it back down. "You have been very busy lately, it seems. What is it that you work on all day in here? Or are you playing games?"
Donnie's heart thumped. His hand found that particular spot on his neck and began to scratch, and Splinter looked at him dead in the eye. He should have known; there was no hiding anything from their father, he was too good. Stupidly, infuriatingly perceptive. Donnie caught himself scratching that spot and slid his hand away, he hadn't even noticed he was picking at it again. He knows, Mikey told him, I probably look like a guilty idiot right now, I'm—
"I haven't been playing games," Donnie blurted out.
Quizzically, Splinter gestured at the computer screen on the other wall, which had the menu of the game he'd opened up just earlier. Reminiscing over it even though it had been only a couple of days since he and his friend had last played together, but he stared at the screen as if it had been years. It made him realize how easily he'd gotten attached to that. Well, to her. He was on the fence about whether he wanted to try playing again or not and left it on.
Oh, you have to be kidding. I'm a fool in a man's shoes.
Donnie laughed uncomfortably, "You caught me, Sensei," he said, "I guess I have been playing games more often lately."
It was honest enough, right?
Splinter hummed and cupped his hands behind his back. "I see."
Straightening out, Donnie dipped his head a little. "I'll...lay off on them. Sorry for lying. I've just been really distracted recently."
"Liars never prosper, my son. Take care of yourself."
He then left.
So he didn't know. Donnie still couldn't say it with any degree of confidence, because Splinter would trip them up here and there, but it was assurance enough to know that if Splinter was aware of what had gone on between the four brothers and his new—rather, former—human friend, he would have confronted Donnie about it. Or all of them, considering it was now a secret they were all in on actively hiding. And on top of that, Raph and Leo didn't know Mikey was conspiring. Layers and layers, he sighed.
With Splinter gone, he let out a breath of relief. Too close. Much. But, swiftly evaded. A chuckle left him, not of humor, but more because he was actually feeling a little confident. Just a little. They were really hiding something from Splinter; it was reason enough to pat himself on the back, nothing got past Splinter. Except for him.
Briefly, he thought of Mikey's outlandish idea as he spun back around in his chair. "Mikey, you are crazy," he mumbled to himself as he took his soldering iron, resuming his work from before. "But..."

The One Where Despite The Sports Festival, Shouto Todoroki Hates Using His Quirk, But [Y/N] [L/N] Enjoys It.
Edited: 12-2-2020
Tumblr media
"It's so fucking cold."
The words came out rushed and loud as you clattered your teeth together. Your arms rubbed up and down over your thin school jacket as you cursed at your teacher in your head. You were supposed to be indoors, doing this school activity inside of the warm enclosed walls of Gym Gamma, instead, Shouta had your class outside, working on the P.E grounds due to miscommunication and overlapping training schedules with class B.
"C'mere, you're warm, I'm cold, hug me."
You buried yourself into the warmer side of your boyfriend, Shouto Todoroki. He had his own personal built-in heating pad, it wasn't fair to let him keep it all to himself. After all, sharing is caring. A light blush spread across his face as he slung his left arm around your back and let his left hand rest on your arm. He pulled you against him, helping you create heat as he debated giving you his own jacket to put on.
"Mm. That's great."
Shouto let out a small smile and he moved his warm, left hand up and down your arm as you both watched Mina spar with Mineta. His hand came up and rolled over your shoulder and made soft contact with your ear and cheek.
"Talking about me or the fight?"
"Well I was talking about you, but I can't say I don't find pleasure in seeing Mineta get beat."
"I know he can be a jerk, but isn't she going a little extreme. I'm surprised he isn't unconscious."
You let out a small chuckle as Mina destroyed his balls with her acid and delivered yet another punch to his face. You had to admit, she was going a bit hardcore on him, and you were sure Mr. Aizawa could see that, but no one stopped her. You were sure she was going so extreme with him due to the stunt he tried pulling the week before, your blood boiled and you clenched your fists just thinking about it. You hadn't told Shouto about said stunt, choosing to keep it a secret between you and Mina.
"He deserves it! He's commenting on our bodies is one thing, but he crossed a line last week."
"What did he do now?"
Shouto knew the boy's schemes were horrendous, and he tried his best to put the pervert back in line when you asked him to or complained about it. It was his job as a boyfriend to make you feel secure, and he took pride in it. He wanted to be the opposite of his father, a significant other you could run to for help, and making you feel safe and protected from the antics of your lesser classmate was how he did that, but you and neglected to tell your boyfriend about how bad the boy was getting.
Shouto placed a chase kiss onto the top of your head as he ran his hand up and down, his fingers leaving warm soothing circles on your shoulder. You pulled your lip between your teeth, realizing you slipped up and mentioned it. You hadn't told your boyfriend about the stunt Mineta pulled because you were both embarrassed it even happened, and ashamed you couldn't defend yourself. Besides that fact, Shouto could get jealous and possessive. Whenever you mention Mineta was bothering you Shouto didn't give you a chance to ask for help, he just seemed to take care of it. Jealousy and possession was a natural human feeling, but you didn't want him trying to murder the boy for his severe actions.
"Uh, well, I mean it's not worth sharing that much. Just the usual nasty things he does."
"What did he do?"
Shouto ran his fingers over your rosy, cold cheeks. Trying to entice you to answer him by distracting you with warmth. It worked.
"He snuck into the girl's dorms to spy on us after hours! To make things worse, he tried watching me change. When I saw him, he used his damned balls to make me sticky. Stuck in my bra and panties, completely helpless and unable to move. You have no idea how humiliated and disgusting I felt!"
"I would've made him apologize. Why didn't you tell me?"
Shoutos grip on your arm loosened but you could still feel the heat just radiating off of his body. He was upset that you didn't tell him, you knew that, but for all the wrong reasons. What you assumed was jealousy, in reality, was fear. The thought that you didn't need or want him to defend you. He took joy in it, he took joy in protecting you. What he so proudly took pride in, was swept away by Mina.
Mina had finally knocked Mineta out and walked past you and Shouto with a shit-eating grin on her face. She shot a thumbs-up signal in your direction as she went to the infirmary to retrieve Recovery Girl for Mineta. Nonverbal communication that she had avenged your dignity, but to Shouto it was just a slap in his face. Why hadn't you immediately told him? He would've knocked Mineta down a peg or two. He would've humbled him down and made him apologize. He should have been the one to redeem your dignity and redeem your image. He should've been the one defending your honor, but you hadn't even told him about it.
Did you not trust him? Was he not good at making you feel secure?
"Todoroki vs. Bakugo."
The anger and frustration was already taking over Shouto as he broke away from you and walked toward the center of the training grounds to meet Katsuki. The feral boy wasted no time in blasting Shouto, trying to anger him resulting in him using his flames unlike he had in the sports festival.
"Die!"
Shouto rebutted Katsuki's blast by hitting him with ice. Aggravated and aggressive, Katsuki sent boom after boom, blast after blast while he growled out phrases to work Shouto up and bring out his flames.
"Won't use your flames? Pathetic. I honestly wonder why [Y/N] is with you, my explosions always got her going."
"Leave her name out of your mouth."
Emotions consumed him once your name left Katsuki lips. He was angry that you didn't trust him enough to tell him about how his classmate tried to defile your image. Sad that you hadn't gone to him for comfort and redemption but Mina instead. All his emotions were thrust into his quirk as he sent Katsuki one hard blast of his flames. Blow after blow, eventually, Katsuki went down. He gripped his arm which now held a severe burn from a Shouto as he screamed out fuck you's.
As he cooled down, ex or not, Shouto couldn't help but regret his actions towards Katsuki. He saw the burns he left Katsuki with. He saw Katsuki gripping his arm as Recover Girl made her way over to him. He could see Katsuki resist help, trying to say it wasn't as bad as it was. He looked over at you, as you stared at him while you bit your lip, guilt flooded his entire being.
What if that had been you? What if he had lost his temper with you? If he was capable of snapping at Katsuki so quickly, what was he capable of with you?
Shouto made his way over to you and with quick hands, you grabbed onto him. You inspected him for injuries, worried he had been hurt too. Shouto hadn't been the only one to get blows in, but his injuries weren't physical. As your worried eyes met his, he felt disgusted with himself. He didn't understand how you were able to cling to such a monster like him. Katsuki's burns flashed in his head as Shouto pulled away from your grasp and ripped his jacket from his back.
He could hurt you. He was capable of hurting you.
"I'm fine. Here, take my jacket so you can be warmer."
"Oh, won't you need it? Quirks are just physical extensions of your body, I don't want you overexerting yourself."
"Don't worry about me. I'm going back to the dorms since my fights over."
His voice came out rushed, his tone cold, harsh and you frowned. Before he even heard your reply, Shouto turned on his heel and walked off to class 1-A's dorm rooms. He hadn't meant to be so cold with you. He didn't want to be harsh with you. Anyone, but you. He didn't want to, but he couldn't stand to be there with you. He couldn't stand there and let you take advantage of his quirk. He couldn't stand there and heat you knowing how he could hurt you. After what he did to Katsuki, you should have been disgusted with him.
He was a monster, he wasn't worthy of you.
Tumblr media
"Who's next on the list?"
The snow fell around you, wetting your hair and getting your clothes damp as you pulled your hands out of your pockets and opened your phone with stiff cold fingers to look at the Christmas list you both together made weeks prior. Shouto wanted to reach across the small gap between you. He wanted to reach over and push your hair behind your ear. He wanted to reach out and pull your frozen hand into his warm one, but he wouldn't. He couldn't, he was already pushing the limit by being here as it was.
He was distancing himself, pulling away, and hoping you would receive the subtle hints he was dropping your way. The hints that he wanted to break up, to no longer see you, to no longer be yours. It wasn't that this is what he wanted, it's what he felt needed to be done. Shouto didn't want to hurt you by breaking up. He didn't want to be away from you. To him, you were his whole world, one of his motivations to become a hero. The more he thought about it, the more he realized how much safer you'd be off without him. How much safer, how much better you'd be without a monster like him.
He hoped the list was almost over with, he wasn't sure he'd be able to handle another minute with you. He knew he couldn't handle breaking your heart himself, so ingeniously he found a solution: Be detached until you break up with him instead. He was supposed to distance himself, but all he wanted to do was pull you in his arms. He knew he should've stayed at the dorms, stayed in the confines of his dorm room, neglecting you under the pretense of studying. However, when you came to him asking if he still wanted to go Christmas shopping together like you both originally planned to, he couldn't say no. The way you looked at him, a broken hopeful expression that he would say yes. Hopeful that he'd want to spend time with you despite him pushing you away. It broke his stoic reserve.
"We still need a guitar for Kyouka, a bag for Ochako, and something for Momo, she's kinda hard to shop for because she already has everything, but I saw her eyeing a necklace last month. I bet we could even find Ochako a bag in the same store."
He was practically ecstatic to hear you only had three more people to shop for, two of which could be hit in the same store. The quicker this was over the better. You placed your phone back in your pocket and reached out for Shouto's hand. The gap was closed between you both as you tugged him along the sidewalk with you towards the store you needed. Shouto smiled. He briefly smiled and relished in the feeling of your hand in his, but it was short-lived as he pulled his hand out of yours and stuffed it in his pocket.
He knew there must have been a hurt expression on your face, but he had to take a moment to remind himself. He had to remind himself why he was distancing himself from you. It was for you. You didn't deserve to be with a monster like him. You didn't deserve it, all you needed was a push in the right direction.
As you walked beside Shouto into the Lois Vuitton outlet store your heart felt heavy but you tried your best to push through the pain. You couldn't pretend that there wasn't anything wrong with your relationship. You couldn't pretend that your boyfriend hadn't been distant, hadn't been cold and closed off. He used to be so sweet, sweet, and present. He would walk you to your dorm after class, take you for walks, hold your hand, and more often than not, take you out on impromptu dates. He didn't do that anymore. He was cold and absent. He rarely talked to you and he put little to no effort into being with you. Even when you tried putting all the effort, you could see him pulling away. As he pulled away more and more, you had to wonder if he even wanted to be around you.
You had a whirlwind of thoughts on why he was being so distant, why he no longer wanted you. You just wanted all the worries and thoughts to go away. You wanted the negative reasons you'd come up with every night as you laid in bed to be gone. You wanted things to go back to normal because, despite all of this, you were holding out hope that things would go back to normal. Hope that perhaps he would begin to come around again.
You walked through Louis Vuitton with Shouto hot on your trail as you went to the jewelry display. Shouto quickly grasped the right necklace in his hands, the expensive a thousand dollar golden lipstick holder necklace. He turned to you with a determined smile.
"This is the one right?"
Suddenly, that dark cloud of thoughts came out again. The one that rained on you when you were at your most hopeful. The one that said he didn't love you, but most likely fell for another. The one that gave you the most probable answer.
"How'd you know that was the one she wanted?"
"I was with you both when you saw it."
It was a logistic explanation, but the simple sentence placed the seed of doubt into your head. Doubt that slowly diminished your hope. Despite the awfully, distrustful feeling it left you with, you chose to give Shouto the benefit of the doubt as you made your way over the bag selection.
"So, everyone's making plans for Christmas, and I was wondering if we were going to spend it together."
"I haven't really thought about my Christmas plans yet."
"We don't have to if you don't want to, figured I'd ask."
You kept your face away from Shouto and buried in the bag rack. You didn't want him to see the expression on your face. You didn't want him to see the remnants of all the hope you had left in this relationship. There was a right answer, the right answer you hoped he'd say, but that seed of doubt knew he wasn't going to say it.
"I was gonna go home for Christmas. Figured we both could use time with our families."
A single stray tear made its way down your cheek as his sentences tumbled out. All the hope you had left in your body crumpled as his words resounded in your ears. You hadn't spent a Christmas apart since the start of your three-year relationship. He knew you didn't have the best family. He knew you hated your father just as much as he hated his father. You both made it your tradition to be together for the holidays. You asking about it wasn't supposed to be a question, but reassurance he wasn't going to leave you alone. It was reassuring you he still cared, but all it did was water the seed.
"You want to go home for Christmas? I thought you hated being home over the holidays."
"Some things change, [Y/N]. You don't have a problem with it, do you?"
Of course you did. He was abandoning you. He was leaving you over Christmas for his bastard father he hated. The seed of doubt was beginning to blossom and you were looking for ways to uproot it. You had one vice left to try. His jealousy. If he so much as still loved or even liked you as a girlfriend, then just bringing up you and another boy alone would bring out the beast. No matter how innocent it would be, whether it be walking in the halls, or studying, Shouto could get possessive of you, and while you hated the idea of playing into his emotions like this, it was necessary.
"Of course not! Denki invited me to go on a trip over holiday break anyway. The guy he interns for owns a mansion up north, perfect for skiing. You don't have a problem with that, do you?"
"No, I hope you have fun."
You scanned Shouto's face for any indication that you going up north with Denki alone bothered him, but stoic as ever he was unbothered. A last resort really, but you pulled out a card you never wanted to.
"You're sure? Katsuki is going to be there, and I don't want to make you uncomfortable by hanging out with my ex for a week and a half."
"[Y/N], I don't care. Go ahead, you know not to do something you'd regret."
If Shouto really cared for you he would have said yes. He would've said he had a problem with his girlfriend going on a trip with her ex-boyfriend. You thrust the bag into Shouto's arms and avoided his eyes, scared you would let the tears flow out in front of him.
"Um, can you go pay? I need to use the bathroom."

Shouto tried not to look over at you on the couch. He wanted to scoot closer to you, he wanted to pull your body against his. He wanted to see the little face you made when his warmth took over your freezing skin, he wanted you to fall asleep on him. He wanted to be close to you again, he wanted things to go back to how they used to be. They couldn't go back, it wasn't that simple. He could never revert back into your loving boyfriend, he couldn't allow himself to be yours.
As the weeks from that day in the outlet mall progressed, Shouto could feel his resolve diminish. Despite the distance you still tried to connect and be around him, he was still your boyfriend no matter how cold of a front he put up. It hurt to have you trying to cling to him but he kept pushing you away. It hurt to have you offer date opportunities only for him to turn them down. What hurt Shouto the most was letting you go on that trip with Katsuki. He wanted to tell you not to go on that trip, he wanted to tell you to stay at the dorms with him. With every passing day you talked with Katsuki more and more, it pained Shouto to act like he was fine and chill with it.
Shouto didn't know this was a ploy to make him jealous to try and incite any lingering feelings for you. He didn't know that you weren't even planning to go on the trip with Katsuki but actually planned to stay at the dorms once he left for his own family home for the holidays. You chatted up katsuki more often and even went as far as to ask Shouto for advice on a bathing suit to both bring forth feelings from him and make your lie more convincing. It wasn't as though Shouto wasn't jealous, it wasn't as though he stopped caring for you and who you hung out with. The idea of you in a bikini with Katsuki grated him. The two of you in a hot tub, escaping the dreaded cold rubbed him the wrong way, but he needed to let it happen, he needed to push you away into the arms of someone more worthy, into the arms of another.
"When are you leaving for your trip?"
Shouto hadn't even turned to look at you as he spoke out the question. He hadn't looked and maybe had he, he would've seen how broken you looked, he would've seen your disheveled appearance and his resolve would've broken for sure. With your legs pulled up on the couch and your head resting on your knees, a frown on your face as you stole sneaky little glances at your boyfriend when he wasn't looking. He never looked at you anymore, just another indication of where your relationship was headed.
"Katsuki and I are meeting at the airport in a couple of hours, he said the ticket was paid for by his internship boss, but I think he's really paying for it."
Shouto didn't look at you, and it hurt. What guy didn't get upset, or weird at the very least, at the idea of his girlfriend going on a trip with her ex-boyfriend? Beyond that, the proposed idea that his girlfriend is getting a plane ticket paid for by said ex-boyfriend should upset him. You snagged your lip between your teeth as your grip on your legs tightened.
"When are you going home?"
"Tonight."
You nodded your head and made a mental note to leave until he left to make it seem you went on the trip. You didn't want him knowing that you planned to stay in the dorms alone over Christmas, but those were his exact plans. He hadn't spent a Christmas apart from you since the beginning of this relationship, and he just wanted to wallow in self-pity over having pushed you away successfully.
"Do you want to exchange gifts before we leave?"
"I didn't think we were getting each other gifts since we're not seeing each other on Christmas."
You let out a sigh as you tried to keep the tears down. You were so hopeful, you were holding out for him but you couldn't anymore. You got him a gift, hoping that Christmas would bring out the best in him and make him open up. You thought that the day would roll around and everything would be fixed by the magic of Christmas. He hadn't even gotten you a gift, yet he knew what neckless Momo wanted. You couldn't do it anymore, you couldn't pretend things would get better. You couldn't pretend he still loved you.
"What did I do wrong? I'm sorry, I can fix it. I'm sorry, I'll fix it."
The tears began leaking out and running down your cheeks in warm streaks. You tried to keep your little sniffles quiet by pressing your hand over your mouth and nose. You didn't want him to see you cry, you didn't want him to hear your tears, but he did. Shouto looked over at you with knitted eyebrows before looking back at the fireplace. He wanted to comfort you, he wanted to hold you and reassure you that it was okay, but he needed to push you away.
"I'm drowning, I'm drowning Shouto. I don't understand what I did to make us like this. Am I too clingy, do I suffocate you? I'll give you space, I can give you more space!"
Shouto clenched his fists as your words tumbled out in frantic sentences but he stayed silent. He did so well, he's done so well at pushing you away. He had to keep his resolve up, he had to push away. You didn't deserve him, you didn't deserve to be with such a monster.
"When Katsuki broke up with me he said it was cause' I'm weak. Is that it, am I too weak for you? I'll train harder. I'll be a hero you can be proud of."
Shouto kept his face away from yours, silently and still staring at the fire. He knew if he looked at you then he would break. If he looked at you he would crawl into your arms and whisper reassuring words on how Katsuki is an ass, reassuring words on how strong you were. He wanted to tell you that you always made him proud, but he didn't let himself. The more he continued being silent, the more it hurt you. More tears flowed from your eyes as you spoke out the sentence you so solemnly tried to quell. The thought you so desperately had been trying to put out like a wild fire.
"Deep down I know the truth, you want her, don't you? Momo? God, how stupid I must look, my boyfriend and my best friend right under my nose."
You pressed your hand to your mouth to muffle a strangled sob as you wiped away your tears with the back of your hand, futile as more quickly replaced them. Shouto looked over at you, a few tears dripping down from his own eyes. That's what you thought? That he was cheating? Shouto wasn't sure if he should feel insulted for you thinking so low of him, but then again, had the roles been reversed with you pushing him away, he would think the same.
"I... I just want you to know I don't blame you Shouto. She can suit your needs so well. She's smarter, rich, and god, she's so much prettier. I- I'm sorry I wasn't enough for you, I'm sorry I couldn't satisfy you. I'm sorry I wasted your ti"-
"Don't say that, don't, just don't. Don't compare yourself to her. I don't want Momo, I haven't wanted anyone except for you."
"Then why don't you want me? You don't touch me anymore, you don't even look at me. I don't understand what I did."
"You didn't do anything! You did nothing, it's me! I'm the problem, I'm the issue."
Shouto stood up abruptly, pacing back and forth he ran his hand through his hair roughly. He should've kept his resolve, he should've stayed solid, but hearing the quiver in your voice, hearing your thoughts, your deeply negative thoughts broke him so.
"You are so perfect, [Y/N]. I love when you cling to me, you're so strong, you're beautiful and perfect, and fuck! The only reason I remembered Momo's necklace was because it was right next to the earrings I bought for you."
You stood up and wrapped your arms around Shouto. You buried your face in his chest as he let his tears fall. He should push you away, he should make distance from you, but he couldn't. He couldn't, instead, he wrapped his arms around you and let out his own sob into your hair as he held you close for the first time in days.
"I'm such a monster [Y/N]. I'm such a monster, I'm just like my dad. You saw how I burned Katsuki. You shouldn't be with me, I might hurt you."
You pulled out of Shouto's arms to cup his face. There was a frown on your face, leaving him with an unsettling feeling in his gut that you agreed. It was quite the opposite.
"Shouto, you would never hurt me. I don't know where you got that idea, but I know you would never. You are sweet, caring, and possibly the best boyfriend to ever exist. You are not your father, you are Shouto Todorki, my boyfriend."
"I've hurt you so much these past few weeks. I've ignored you, and I've been cold, why are you still here."
"You pushed me away because you thought it was good for me. Granted that wasn't your choice to make, I'm still here because I love you, and you love me, the rest is pudding."
You pressed your lips against Shoutos, they felt warm and rough, you hadn't felt them in so long, how you missed them so. You pressed into the kiss, with him pulling you closer, want and need dripping between you both as your wandering hands pulled and tugged each other.
"Tell me what's going on instead of pushing me away next time. I'm not letting you go, no matter how hard you push me away. I'm here to stay."
"I will, I promise. I love you, [Y/N], so much. I need you in my life. I've been an awful ass, and I know I'm in no place to make requests, but please don't go with Katsuki."
"I never planned to, I turned him down when he first asked. I wanted to spend Christmas with you, Sho. We're always together for the holidays, we have our own traditions, and spending it with anyone else isn't right."
"I wasn't gonna go home either, was gonna stay here. What a pair of liars we are, c'mon, I think we can still salvage this Christmas Eve."
Shouto kissed your hand and tugged you towards the kitchen. With your hands enveloped in each other, all was right. It was right, being with you was right. Maybe he was a monster, maybe he was temperamental, but that was something he was willing to work on to be with you.
