i think we as a society don't talk about just how good the key change in reach by s club 7 is enough
#it's. such a nice key change. subtle but still increases the energy just without the awkward EVERYTHING IS UP A MAJOR 2ND that u often get#i've been arranging it and black parade (and toxic but less relevant) for next term with my choir#(can really call it MY choir now. co music director >:D)#and i actually jsut cut off welcome to the black parade before the key change cos it kinda adds nothing#and if ur doing it acapella there's not really any point#whereas with reach? it's just an organic part of the song#and i don't even mind copy pasting an extra page of the music with just the same bit as before but up a 2nd#cos that modulation slays#it's like the whole bridge#which is something like F/G - G - F/G - G - C - C/B - Am and then slides so neatly with a little Am - G - E - A(maj) and boom. a major.#why can't all songs have it go this smoothly instead of just awkwardly jumping
