it hurts me. the parallel of Charlie at the start of ep 1, so excited about showing her plans for the hotel to heaven she doesn't see how VERY NOT excited about it Vaggie is (cough angel kicked out by heaven for not doing enough murder cough cough), even while getting literally up in Vaggie's face.....
and then Vaggie, when Charlie comes drooping home after that all crashed and burned spectacularly- now it's VAGGIE so excited to show CHARLIE the new and improved hotel commercial she got everyone to make while Charlie was away... now it's Vaggie, up close and basically physically pressing her excitement into her girlfriend, not seeing how utterly crushed Charlie is right then
like, clearly Vaggie expected the heaven meeting to not live up to Charlie's hopes for it. Clearly she REALLY wanted to have something GOOD AND HOPEFUL for Charlie to come home to afterwards
-which would have worked too, if the Extermination schedule update hadn't interrupted the commercial airing
look at how habby Charlie was finding out about the commercial
awww
"heaven isn't homophobic" well then what do you call them interrupting this lesbian's hard won cheer-up-the-girlfriend effort huh? what was that then. not only cruel but also an insult to us queers everywhere. one of the only real sins we ever see in the show, tbh
but gods, they give each other so much CONFIDENCE, chaggie and the mutual "I can do this for her" / "She thinks I can do this and I will" synergy...
and it keeps fucking their relationship up. GODS
how they mirror and act like they're trying to literally meld into each other, while both being So Bad at actually SAYING when and why they're upset about something Serious-
when they're also clearly wanting to share SO MUCH of what they feel specifically with the woman they love!!!!
and how that sometimes blinds them both, over and over again, to the moments when (ironically) their other half needed them to be a little less sure, for a second, that things are or would be okay. Share less of their own conviction, that they got from the other one in the first place
When instead of needing answers to the obvious problem, they both needed to be asked hey IS something wrong? is there ANOTHER problem here actually??
they both put so much of themselves into each other, they both rely on the other one for their sense of self-worth and the strength they need to be The One Who Get Things Done and The One Who Always Has A Plan
that's so DELICIOUSLY fucked up. the flip side to love,
(Vaggie freaking out feeling her existence is pointless while thinking she's failed Charlie, and Charlie losing so much hope just at the thought Vaggie might not really love or believe in her)
when someone else is walking around with your heart beating in their chest because you yourself put it there
heck, their resolution in s1 ISN'T even them hashing things out or communicating better! they don't NEED that- (yet) they JUST need each other! (soooooo fucked up I LOVE it) the thing that brings them back together is Vaggie fully letting go of her angel past to focus on her life with Charlie and tapping back into her whole self for first time since meeting Charlie, it's Charlie the singer and giver of heartfelt motivational speeches having her mind blown by words meaning less than actions as her partner who lied to her is also off right that moment doing everything she can to protect what they've built
the big moment is NOT them actually TALKING about what happened or why it happened. it doesn't matter!!! (to them) Their hurt came from being scared of losing each other, they meet up at the hotel gates and just seeing the other one there is Enough!
they happily return to status quo minus some secrets and plus some more confidence in what they have.... which means the rest of this stuff, the root cause of it all, the unaddressed subtext that they NEED to be fucked up together in an active, intentional, KNOWING way but are so good at inspiring and supporting each other that it just, doesn’t, happen..... that's all still there.
(i see you, Charlie sitting alone with your story of hell book and being shocked at your long time girlfriend coming up to your shared room, being around to see you sad, you putting on a smile and trying to wave it off bc yeah she's right you AREN'T alone anymore. technically)
(i see you, Vaggie asking to be left alone on a rooftop so you can deal with a devastating blow to your whole sense of self as 100% unintentionally dealt by your loving girlfriend who WANTS to be there for you through this but who YOU can't face until you're ready to shoulder the blame and apologize to her)
(i see you both trying so hard to help each other and not letting yourselves be helped)
(because no clearly you don't need it, clearly this is all already so much better that what you used to have and you're doing so much better, and what if you're still not good enough for it actually-)
chaggie is so happily, catastrophically entertwined and i hope they spend the next thousand years suffering through it together
#hazbin hotel#charlie morningstar#vaggie#chaggie#hmmm#BLARGH BLARGH BLARGH#i don't want them to get better i want them to get blissfully worse

This week @lathez's Sujamma wants to hear all about your big ideas. What’s a new story idea or OC idea you have? Maybe you haven’t fleshed it out yet - this is a great opportunity!
[NERVOUS NOISES] Hej hej hello there ❤ Thank you @sulphuricgrin and @hircines-hunter for tagging me!! I always have . . . far too many ideas we're not going to talk about Breathless we're not going to talk about Breathless we aRE NOT GOING TO TALK ABOUT BREATHLESS ahem. Peruse below the nifty read more cut if your eyeballs wish to perceive my rambles [I am so sorry in advance ;w;]
Diplomatic Immunity?
Right. So. Some backstory. I have a Thieves Guildmaster named Wynnarwe, who's an Altmer! She has four other siblings, the youngest being her sister named Rulve. Rulve is short and has dark hair and freckles. Why? Because she sometimes gets possessed by a Dwemer ancestor that thinks she can solve their untimely murder . . . for whatever reason. And after Wynnarwe performed shenanigans and shamed the family name, Rulve decides she'll redeem it! By joining the fucking Thalmor and Nyzrldchk [the ancestor] [Nyz for short] LOVES THIS IDEA BECAUSE POWER. MURDER SOLVING. SHENANIGANS [THUMBS UP] This idea has gotten even more away from me as I believe Elenwen has kids--a daughter and a son, to be exact. And they, too, serve in the Aldmeri Dominion--why wouldn't they--and, well . . . every now and then I daydream about Rulve interacting with her coworkers. Specifically Elenwen's daughter because they'd be sort of rivals and who doesn't like a little toxic yuri and discovering lesbianism in the most inconvenient way possible AHA Now will my dumbass ever get around to writing the damn thing that would probably be a few chapters of Rulve and her ancestor causing trouble . . . . . who knows! But I think about it a lot. And since I didn't get to write the quest Diplomatic Immunity in my main fic, I thought perhaps it'd be a good opportunity to write about what happened there. Alas. Maybe. Some day. haoguogh
. . . And More OCs, Dribbling in from Time to Time
Oh man they just keep coming. And they won't stop coming. I have a few main ones that take over several roles presented in Skyrim, but now I just have . . . . so many others. My most unique OCs are a Hagraven and a Giantess, the latter not super fleshed out. I imagine she's a very gentle giant and takes care of a kid named Edraeus, who's a werewolf and has been through wayyy too much at his age. He's very much inspired by Atreus, if anyone here is familiar with the newer God of War games. He translates for Íðr when they have to communicate with others and overall the pair are just very gentle. Soft and gentle and kind despite the harsh reality of the world and all that. There are too many others [looking at you Falethas and Atuakh and Lucius and Ponders-Orb and Doubts-You and Nyzrldchk and Finiah] and if I keep rambling I'll be here for fifty more years--
Softly, Nightshade
Originally hadn't intended to talk about this, as the idea itself is over a year old, but I am slowly nearing the end of a one-shot between Valerica Volkihar and a Dunmer OC, Mevunsi. It deserves a shout-out at the very least, as it's my attempt to write about Valerica and how she's coping after the death of Harkon and Serana essentially going off on her own. It's been very fun to write and I'm hoping to finish it one of these days so I can share it with everyone ❤ It's not much but I like her and I'm here to give the Valerica lovers out there something to read and hopefully enjoy ;w;
. . . . And All the Other Side Quests
EVENTUALLY. I will write about. Many things. All the things! I'd love to write about my Listener Shatha's journey through the Dark Brotherhood, and how Wynnarwe seduces Nocturnal and her bullshit in the Thieves Guild, and perhaps a couple of quests with the Companions and Do'Shavir, maybe even something amusing with my Arch-Mage Octeagan and his weird babysitting relationship with Miraak. Hell, maybe I'll even write about the dumb rarepairs I've invented [Agmaer/Ria and Hestla/Aela. So far. Don't ask LJSGLKJDFLG]. Oh right and I have to finish the one piece I have about my Hagraven and Namira and Jordis the Sword-Maiden [who's Champion of Meridia]. GAH I have too many fucking ideas SAVE ME
I will now . . . return to my mausoleum. To attempt writing and further contemplation. Uhm. Yehet. If you read all of this incoherent and gibberish nonsense, thank you ;w; ❤

okay but srs and gen question how do bi lesbians and male lesbians work. ain't that like contradictory and transphobic. And lesbiphobic. And stuff not tryna be rude I'm just confused
hi! i think you're asking in good faith, so yeah I can explain it.
Terminology out of the way first: a lot of people say the term lesbian means that you are a women who solely likes women. This is still the widely held belief. However! The actual lesbian community has been broader than that since the 80s. Of course, there have been groups who excluded people who didn't fit the strict definition, but a lot actually considered deviations from that definition members of the community. After all, they were fighting the same fight.
Bisexual lesbians are a thing because like, what if you like women 99% of the time, and men 1% of the time? What about if you identified as a lesbian for years, and then met one guy that you fell in love with? Should you uproot your entire identity within the lesbian community just because of that? This is why setting hard rules like "No bisexuals" doesn't seem very fair.
This logic also goes for men. If you are bigender, can you be a lesbian? What if you're two spirit? Do you have to be woman-leaning in your gender identity? If you are 99% woman and 1% man, are you not allowed in? What if you were just a butch for years, but then come to realize you want to transition? Do you leave your entire life in the lesbian community just for that?
These no-nuance boxes get messy pretty quickly when you get actual people with actual experiences involved. If you're pretty much fighting the same fight, then who cares about the specifics? Labels aren't god-ordained, we made them up to try and simplify the incredibly complex human experience. Sometimes not everybody fits 100% into a set of rules. And that's okay.
Maybe there's a reason TERFs side with lesbians who believe in a rigid label, rather than people who will live and let live.
#i really hope this answered your question anon#i also hope you were actually asking in good faith and i didn't misinterpert#cheers peace and love on planet queer

Some more personal opinions about HOTD season 2
So this blockade. How does it work. It's not a siege, the Blacks only control Blackwater bay. I'd assume that food arrives to Kings Landing via land - Stromlands and the Reach are both close and are also Green supporters. Yes, a sea blockade can screw up the economy (cutting off communications with Essos) but. Like. it wouldn't starve the city. SO. how.
On the topic of the blocade, I can 100% belive the smallfolk would cheer for Rhaenyra because she brought them food even though SHE is the reason to the starvation in the first place (though, again, I have no idea how). Also I hate how the show doesn't adress the fact that Rhaenyra is fully willing to starve the people and only give them food as a PR tactic.
Hey, Mysaria, quick question, what is it exactly that makes Rhaenyra so great? Why do YOU, specifically, believe she is the rightful and good queen? In the show Mysaria is the voice of the smallfolk, but Rhaenyra is uncaring for the smallfolk (not in any way that matters) and a mediocre leader besides.
Corlys being mad at Rhaenyra was such a good moment for me.
I understand they are pushing the angle of "Rhaenyra's council wouldn't respect her cause she's a woman" which, yeah, 100%, but I think a more interesting aspect I see int he show is how Rhaenyra is NOT GOOD at running her council. Slapping a person in plain sight would not make them respect you, it's the abuse of power you have towards them. Saying crap like "I want prince Aemond's head" and then LEAVING, giving the council the option of either ignoring what you said (which sets a problematic precedent), or have an excuse to do whatever they want (which led to Blood and Cheese and in general encouraged Daemon's unruliness) is BAD. Fucking off to an udnercover mission without telling anybody is BAD.
Rhaenyra, people keep bringing up Daemon not because he's a man that needs to save you, but because he's a warrior and a battle seasoned commander whom you should use. The fact that you can't utlize your men properly is a you issue, but saying "well we have Daemon" when talking about getting Dragonriders is actually a very reasonable point. I just wish the show would have her confront her flaws instead of saying "she's a great leader they just don't like to see a girlboss winning!!!". Jace is coming close, though.
Like, don't get me wrong, the Greens aren't some awesome megabrained function, but the show makes their flaws very clear (As it should) and I just... want to see the same treatment for Rhaenyra.
You know what? At this point, Let Rhaenyra ride the dragon to battle. If she can't heed what JUST happened to Aegon in Rook Nest that is a her issue.
So.. why are they trying to tame Seasmoke? Rhaenyra knows that Laenor might yet live; therefore, Seasmoke cannot be claimed by a person and any attempt to do so is a suicide mission.
Alicent being actively kicked out from the small council was such a good scene, actually. Yes, the side that uses misogyny as a tool and justification cannot have a woman lead them. But, I think Aemond didn't kick Alicent out of the council ONLY because she was a woman. I think part of it is because he knew she would still champion to Aegon, and he can't have that. The scene where she tenderly touching his cheek... His mother still have power over him and Aemond is clearly fighting it ohhhh the acting in this show is soooo gooodddd.
Lady Arryn my love, the show might have forgotten that you are a female ruler who never married and was a lesbian but I NEVER will. At least they gave you a kickass dress, you look amazing. You are everything show!Rhaenyra tries to be and they would not let you shine
I don't like the way they write the Smallfolk view of the dragons and try to pass dragons in general as "gods". If the smallfolk are in dissarray over killing 10 ratcatchers when one of them is guilty of killing the crown prince (which was horrible), they should be furious at Melyes stomping and killing tens if not hundreds (which was also horrible). "It's an ill omen" no, actually, it's the best thing to ever happen to non-royalty in years.
I never thought I'll be so happy to see the freaking TWINS. The scene with the Freys was amazing. I found it interesting that the Lady was the one to take charge in the negotiations.
I really like Jace. I think he's my fav Team Black member, even if he brings into the table this vibe of "actually fucking doing something" that Rheanyra doesn't like.
Aemond in his Kingslayer, Kinslayer, outfit slayer era, going out there being a blockhead and taking the worse decisions. Love her. Aemond really screwed the Greens over by almost killing the king and gettting rid of one of three (four?) dragons they had. It's so fun to see everything implode.
Also, in my favorite interactions list, Larys-Aegon was not one I expected to see but one I welcome. It's just really good - you can tell there is emotion in there, but also that Larys is using him (he tried moving from Alicent to Aemond, and Aemond rejected him, so Aegon is his grasp for power). Might be one of the most layered relationships in the show.
lol at the Lannisters summoning Aemond, and having lions for some reason. They are just doing the most.
My friend said: "Rhaenyra should've sent Jace to Harrenhall" and oh, my god. yeah. This would be a safe place for him (at least for a while) and Jace does have better diplomatic skills than Daemon. but then we wouldn't get the Daemon getting tortured in Harrenhall plot. And that one's my fave.
Daemon fucking up and getting chewed up by the Riverlords... yeah, my skin is cleared.
Alys killed lord Grover, right? That's what they were getting at?
Daemon blaming SIMON for his dream sequence side quests is just.... Chef's kiss. I get the idea he doesn't suspect Alys because she's a woman, which might be my favorite way the show explored misogyny.
Alyn and Addam, my loves. I don't know why I just like every scene they are in. And having a discussion while Addam is shaving his blond hair while Alyn had a head full of black hair... The way one has given up any connection to Corlys and the other one is striving to get the acknowledgement of his father and the privileges that come with it... The drama, the tension.
Also Seasmoke and Alyn's meeting was the first time since Sunfyre headboop that I actually felt something for dragons.
Ser Gwane Hightower >>>>>>>. That is all.

Now there's a lot wrong with this post but there's a specific part that is just an extra special kind of fucked up.
"90% of Ace/Aro people just need therapy. Their lack of sexual/romantic attraction is merely due to the fact that they have trauma from past sexual/romantic relationships or experiences..."
First off, nice job pulling that statistic outta your ass. Secondly, can you imagine applying this logic to any other orientation?
Imagine if someone were to say-
"90% of lesbians just need therapy. Their lack of sexual/romantic attraction to men is merely due to the fact that they have trauma from past sexual/romantic relationships or experiences with men..."
Doesn't that sound absolutely ridiculous? You should know good and well that is not how sexuality works. And it is incredibly telling that you believe the majority of asexuals have undergone such trauma, because God forbid anyone not feel sexual/romantic attraction.
And your "9/10 other asexuals/aromantics are children who don't REALLY know how attraction works" is just. Completely baffling. Again, try applying this logic anywhere else.
"You can't be gay/trans!! You're too young to know!!"
Sounds like a load of shit, right?
Lemme tell you from personal experience- I felt zero sexual attraction to ANYONE growing up. It was not simply a phase nor do I have trauma of any sort. Again, I don't understand why you can't seem to wrap your head around other people's lives NOT revolving around sex or romance.
Additionally, having a valid identity or being a part of the LGBT+ community is NOT about how badly you are treated. Someone's validity is not (and should not) be based on how horribly they are treated.
Asexual & Aromantic people are not LGBT.

Asexual/Aromantic people are not LGBT. You have to be LGBT to be LGBT.
Why aren’t they LGBT?
Sexuality is about who you are attracted to, as in what sex/gender you are attracted to, not how. They’re both about the “how”.
The only way you can be LGBT is if you are attracted to the same sex in some way or if you have Gender Dysphoria. ( Or Both ) Ace/Aro is neither of those things.
Being an Incel isn’t a sexuality.
You aren’t oppressed by anyone in any way for being Ace/Aro. Not at all. You aren’t. The LGBT community is a group of individuals who have been oppressed, murdered, and discriminated against.
They have their own community already. The AVEN community.

Why they aren’t valid as Sexualities.
90% of Ace/Aro people just need therapy. Their lack of sexual/romantic attraction is merely due to the fact that they have trauma from past sexual/romantic relationships or experiences whether they be consent or not.
If it’s not due to trauma 9 times out of 10 they are children who haven’t even gone through puberty yet and haven’t developed those feelings of sexual/romantic attraction. I personally believe no child should identify as such.
The Split attraction model makes no sense, it invalidates itself, and it’s literally just normal attraction, sexual or romantic, with extra steps or worded differently.
Sorry Asexual and Aromantic people. ( Not Really ) Your “Sexuality” is not valid or LGBT. 🤷🏻♀️
#and yes i am aware that there are people who HAVE actually made that arguement about lesbians and trauma#its shitty
