Chapter Twenty

Where Did We Go | Series Masterlist

Word Count: 1972

Author’s Note: First of all, I just want to say that I loved seeing everyone’s reactions to the last chapter. All of them put the biggest smile on my face :) Also, this will be the last chapter from Tyler’s point of view for the entire series. I held onto Y/N’s hand tightly as we walked up to the front of the restaurant. Through the door, I could already see most of my siblings waiting around inside, talking happily with one another. Y/N turned to me and smiled when she noticed them, squeezing my hand a little tighter. Although she hadn’t known at the time, I had planned this dinner to celebrate our engagement with our siblings, as well as get everyone together one last time before we left for three months.

“Are you nervous?” I asked, leaning in close to her.

“I don’t think nervous even scratches the surface of what I’m feeling,” she laughed quietly. “I just can’t wait to see the look on Carter’s face when he catches sight of my hand.”

“Do you think it’ll be like when he found out we were dating?”

“Worse.”

“Alright, let’s do this.”

I pulled the door open for Y/N, finally releasing her hand so that she could walk in ahead of me. Immediately, all of our family was turning to look in our direction. Y/N had already dug her hands into her pockets, keeping the ring out of sight for now.

There was a chorus of “Tyler” and “Y/N”s as we walked up to them. I started to wrap an arm around Y/N, but she was quickly pulled into a hug by her brother. My eyes flew to her hand, waiting for the second when the ring became visible. She had barely started to put her arms around Carter when Marenna reached out and caught her wrist.

“What is this?” Marenna asked, pulling Y/N’s hand closer to her face. “Is this what I think it is?”

Y/N turned to me, already smiling. I nodded and turned towards my own siblings, only to see that they were already looking at me with raised eyebrows, waiting for an explanation.

“Surprise! We’re engaged.”

The room immediately erupted into excitement, with everyone crowding around to see Y/N’s ring or pat me on the back. After talking to Y/N for awhile, Carter eventually made his way over to me. I straightened up a little bit. I had known him for nearly as long as I had known Y/N, but he still never failed to intimidate me. Even before I was dating his sister, I had always wanted to make a good impression.

“I guess I have to stop teasing her about getting married now,” he laughed.

I crossed my arms in front of my chest. “You still have a while until she’s officially a Joseph. There’s plenty of time to get some final jokes in.”

Carter nodded. “You know, I always wondered if you two would end up together and, I have to say, I’m really glad that you did.”

It was hard not to let a smile completely overtake my face at Carter’s compliment.

“It means a lot to hear you say that.”

He smiled, “You obviously make her very happy and that’s all I ever wanted.”

“I intend to keep doing that for the rest of my life.”

Carter clapped a hand down on my shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. “Good.”

Deciding that we had stood in the front of the restaurant for long enough, I finally walked up to the hostess. She looked up when she noticed me walking towards her and began to smile.

“I have a reservation for Joseph.”

“Party of nine?”

“That’s us.”

She quickly counted out menus and gestured over her shoulder, “Right this way.”

“Hey, guys, we’re going to sit down.”

The conversation quickly quieted down and everyone fell into their places. Y/N rejoined me at the front of the group and wrapped a hand around my arm, still smiling. I pressed a quick kiss to her cheek as we walked.

There was a bit of commotion as everyone tried to figure out where they were sitting. I eventually ended up between Zack and Y/N, who naturally had Carter on her other side. Once everyone was settled and happy with the seating arrangement, we began to look through our menus.

“What do you think you’re going to get?” Y/N asked, leaning over towards me.

“I’m not sure yet. Do you know?”

“No, that’s why I was asking you,” she laughed quietly.

The table was quiet as everyone looked over the menu and tried to decide what to get. Once that was finished, the conversation really began to pick up.

“Ok, I have to know the story,” Maddy chimed in. “How did it happen?”

“The engagement?” Y/N asked.

“Of course.”

Y/N turned to me with raised eyebrows, “Do you want to tell it or should I?”

“Why don’t you tell it and I can fill in the details?”

“Tag team it. Good plan.”

Everyone listened intently as Y/N told the story, from setting up the blankets in the back of the car to the actual proposal. I only occasionally filled in details when I felt they were needed, which wasn’t often.

“How did you keep the ring hidden from me?” Y/N asked after Tatum had brought it up.

“It was an ordeal,” I laughed. “I brought it home early last week and my original plan was to keep it hidden in my t-shirt drawer, but then you mentioned how you found the old postcard in there so I decided that was a really bad idea.”

“So where was it?”

“I kept it in the center console of my car.”

“Is that why you made me drive everywhere last week?”

“Yeah,” I smiled.

“That makes so much sense.”

“Do you guys know when the wedding is going to be?” Zack chimed in.

“Josh and I are planning on taking an extended break once this tour is over to work on the next album and have some time to ourselves, so we’ll probably do it during that break.”

“Other than that, the only thing we’ve decided is that we’re getting married,” Y/N added with a laugh. “Speaking of weddings, Ren, does your comment about never wanting to plan another wedding in your life still stand?”

“I think an exception can be made,” she smiled.

“You know, we can talk about things other than the engagement and wedding,” I said.

“Oh, come on Tyler,” Maddy said. “This is exciting! Our big brother is getting married!”

“Yeah, let us be happy,” Zack said, reaching over to lightly shove my shoulder.

“Sorry! Sorry. I just want to hear about your lives too, you know.”

“We’ll get there,” Jay added.

Our conversation was only interrupted when a waiter came over to take everyone’s drink orders. After Y/N ordered, I leaned over close to her so that I could whisper in her ear.

“Are you having an ok time?”

“I’m having a great time. This was a really good idea, Ty.”

I leaned back, now with a smile on my face. It wasn’t often that we were able to get all of the siblings together, but I always looked forward to when we did. I considered myself incredibly lucky to call all the people around me family, even if we weren’t blood relatives.

“When do you guys leave for tour?” Will asked.

“Monday morning. We’re spending a day in Cincinnati before the tour officially begins to get people acquainted and all that.”

“I think Tatum and I are going to drive down for the show,” Zack said. “I don’t know if any of you are interested in coming along.”

There was some quiet murmuring around the table as people discussed whether or not they would try to make it for the show. Next to me, I noticed that Y/N was fiddling with her ring.

“You ok?” I asked quietly, reaching out to put a hand on her arm.

“Yeah,” she nodded. “Just thinking about things that we need to do tonight and tomorrow.”

I lightly rubbed my thumb along her arm, “It’s ok. You don’t need to worry about that right now, just focus on spending time with family.”

“You’re right.”

She put her ring back on her finger, spinning it back into place.

“Are you excited to be touring again?” Tatum asked.

“I wish I had a longer break, but I really do love playing shows. Even with all the bumps this time around, I feel really good about the show that Josh and I are putting on and I think it represents this album well.”

“And you look sexy in your suits,” Y/N added under her breath, making me snort.

“What did you say, Y/N?” Maddy asked.

“Nothing,” she answered quickly. I could tell by the way that her lips were pressed together that she was embarrassed.

“Are you looking forward to tour, Y/N?” Zack said.

“Yeah, I am. It definitely takes some adjustment, but honestly after spending a month at home without Tyler, I’m ready to be back on a cramped tour bus again.”

“It’s not that cramped.”

“That’s because you take up the whole couch and don’t share!” Y/N giggled.

“Alright, whatever.”

“We’re going to miss you guys,” Marenna said, which was met with nods from the rest of the table.

I ignored the pang of sadness in my chest and put a smile on my face, not wanting the mood at the table to take a turn. Today was supposed to be about taking advantage of the time we still had left, after all.

“We’re going to miss you guys too.”

Dinner eventually came to an end and after plenty of hugs, we all walked back to our cars with promises to keep in touch when Y/N and I were on the road. Y/N laced her fingers with mine as we walked back to where I had parked at the very edge of the lot, swinging our hands idly back and forth.

“This was really nice, Ty. Thank you for getting everyone together.”

“Your welcome. I knew it was something you would really enjoy, plus it got most of the people that we needed to announce the engagement to out of the way.”

“Now it’s just our parents, Josh, and the entirety of the clique,” she laughed.

“To be fair, Josh already knows because I slipped up about having to pick up a ring after one of our meetings. Then I got excited and just told him the whole thing.”

“It’s a good thing Josh can keep a secret.”

“Honestly. I was tense that entire night that we got dinner together.”

“Speaking of dinner, don’t forget we’re going over to Carter and Marenna’s on Sunday night to see my parents and Max one last time.”

“Right. And we have dinner with my parents tomorrow.”

“Yes.”

Y/N finally let go of my hand so that she could walk to the other side of the car. The door creaked as I opened it and climbed inside.

“Alright, let’s get home so we can finish up more tour preparations. We only have a couple days left,” Y/N said. She was already plugging in her phone so that we could listen to our music on the way home.

“These last three weeks really flew by,” I said as I started up the car. “I swear just yesterday I was napping on the couch with you after getting home from the airport.”

“A lot happened. I mean, my brother got married, you had meetings most of the time, and now we’re engaged.”

I reached over and grabbed Y/N’s hand again. She began to rub her thumb along the back of my hand, keeping me calm as I pulled out of my parking spot. Once I did so, I looked over to her and smiled.

“And I couldn’t be happier about it.”

Okay I managed to get this one done just before I have to get ready for work. Just like with you and WrenWes this will be more from Chance’s view. I tried though.

Rowan x Chance

General:

Rate the Ship -

How long will they last? - This could really be a long term relationship. Chance doesn’t hold his breath or want to think about it ending because that’s not really helpful to anyone. He wants to enjoy the moment. I’m sure Rowan forever the optimist sees this going till the end.

How quickly did/will they fall in love? - Okay listen, Chance falls fast for people, he doesn’t say anything until he’s sure that’s what he feels. Chance starts to feel in love by like the fourth or fifth date but won’t say anything about it until a few months in. Rowan most likely said it first.

How was their first kiss? - Third date Chance “hears” something in the distance and moves them behind a tree. Tells Rowan that they should kiss to hide from whatever creature he comes up with on the spot better. It’s soft and warm mixed with smiles both knowing how it didn’t need to be that elaborate.

Wedding:

Who proposed? - Chance isn’t scared of commitment but he’s not really one to want to get married. There will forever be this fear that it’ll end badly if they do, that the curse is going to hit another generation. Rowan seems better adjusted and will instead opt for a proposal of long term commitment for Chance. So like instead of “Will you marry me?” it’s more “Will you join me on this adventure forever?”

Who is the best man/men? - Chance would have Wheaty as the best man, other groomsmen would be Hurk Jr and Sharky, who promise that they don’t have fireworks hidden on them.

Who is the braid’s maid(s)? - I mean Wren obviously. She’s also the one to officiate.

Bonus: Boomer is the ring bearer.

Who did the most planning? - It wasn’t a very big thing there wasn’t much planning involved, though Chance got overwhelmed and let Rowan do most of it helping where he could and needed too.

Who stressed the most? - Chance. He has a hard time letting go of the feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop. He also just wants the day to be everything Rowan wanted.

How fancy was the ceremony? - Not the fanciest, it was optional to wear super fancy dress wear. Chance wore a nice suit, one his dad would wear to functions to present findings at and he would also have his grandfather’s formal ring as his commitment ring. Rowan would wear a lovely white dress with accents of dark green.

Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 This ceremony was never meant to be big, and became bigger than Chance anticipated, like he thought just the two of them wheaty and wren, but it had nice touches and felt like something formal while being outdoors. For sure happened out in the Whitetails in Rowan’s favorite spot.| Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.

Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - Eli. Chance doesn’t know a ton of people, basically if he didn’t think to invite you then that should say something.

Sex:

Who is on top? - Both, though Rowan a little more so.

Who is the one to instigate things? - Chance once comfortable will always love to have his hands on Rowan which turns to teasing that then turns to more.

How healthy is their sex life? - Healthy, Chance is always up for some and even when they get busy the two like to make sure there’s some time in there for fun.

Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 Minimum once a week but there is no objection to more, I am also going to count just anything that ends in orgasm as sex because at the end of the day that’s what matters most.| 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now

How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? - Chance loves to cuddle and loves holding Ro. He likes to stroke her hair or make her smile so he can see her dimples. He loves to be able to have physical contact with Ro, makes him feel safe.

Children:

How many children will they have naturally? - I don’t think I could see them having any naturally. Maybe one if it was fated.

How many children will they adopt? - Two. Chance loves the idea of adoption a lot more given that he was adopted himself.

Who gets stuck with the most diapers? - They try to make it equal but Chance is used to seeing single dad life and so defaults to it.

Who is the stricter parent? - While Rowan isn’t strict in the bad way, she would be perceived as the stricter parent cause Chance can’t take many things seriously. He can be a big kid himself so there’s that.

Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts after school? - Again Rowan. Chance would encourage or try it first just to make sure they won’t get hurt to badly.

Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - Both do, though what their contents are varies on who packed them.

Who is the more loved parent? - Loved equally but like they have a cooler aunt so they don’t exist once she comes around.

Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings? - For all of Chance’s joking and not being serious, he takes education very seriously. He’s right there making sure his kids and others have what they need to succeed.

Who cried the most at graduation? - Both cried equally. Chance cried more later behind closed doors, he’s got a lot of feelings about it.

Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Chance will but I feel so will Rowan and dole out the punishment at home that is appropriate.

Cooking:

Who does the most cooking? - Rowan is the better cook so she does.

Who is the most picky in their food choice? - I would have to say Rowan cause Chance is someone that lived off of gas station food and once you get to that point I don’t think you become picky about food.

Who does the grocery shopping? - Rowan gives Chance the list and he gets everything to her liking.

How often do they bake desserts? - Rowan bakes a lot of them by hand. Chance bakes the boxed desserts for her on occasion.

Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - They are even, though more towards the meat side. Rowan is a hunter so there’s always some fresh game, Chance fishes enough that there is always some fish in that freezer too.

Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - It would be who can beat the other to it first.

Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Chance. There’s only so much home cooking you can do and he likes to show Rowan off.

Who is more likely to burn the house down accidently while cooking? - Chance. He gets lost in his head and also is not the best cook to begin with.

Chores:

Who cleans the room? - Chance, sometimes things have to be a certain way.

Who is really against chores? - Neither likes doing them but it has to be done.

Who cleans up after the pets? - Whoever gets to it first but like they live out in the middle of the woods so they don’t have too if they let the dogs out.

Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - Neither.

Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Rowan, I feel like she cares more about appearance than Chance.

Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Rowan, she has better eyes for spotting things like that.

Misc:

Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Rowan, more so if Chance decides to “help” her.

Who takes the dog out for a walk? - They both like walking the dogs so they each get a leash. Or the dogs become trained enough to not be leash bound.

How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - Major holidays they decorate.

What are their goals for the relationship? - Chance has the goal of having a partner in the adventure and journey we call life.

Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Chance. He gets weird sleep schedules.

Who plays the most pranks? - Chance. Nothing too harmful, but he likes seeing chemical reactions occur here and there. Rowan tries to get him back and while he figures it out quickly sometimes and just lets it happen so he can see her smile.

got any monochrome headcanons?

OH DO I

- I think I already mentioned it, but @good-rwbyaus opened my eyes with one of their skits on Weiss singing for Blake (and their kids). Since then, one of my favourite headcanons is that Weiss will sing for her girlfriend/wife and, later on, for their children. The evening lullaby becomes sort of a tradition that Weiss wouldn’t break for the WORLD. Even when she’s away, she calls her children right before bedtime to ask about their day and sing them the lullaby Willow used to sing to her when she was a child (Willow herself was taught this lullaby by her father, Nicolas, who learned it from his own father. It is one of Nicolas’s and Willow’s dearest memories with their respective fathers and it becomes one of Weiss’ favourite things to do for her children). When her children grow up, Weiss starts singing the lullaby to them less and less, seeing as they don’t need it as much anymore to fall asleep, but she will still sing it to Blake sometimes, especially when she has nightmare, and her children pick up singing and an instrument to sing other songs with their mother. I actually imagine that most of the RWBY character songs in the show will be written and sung by their children based on their parents’ experiences and lives.

- when Blake and Weiss get married, I imagine them taking both of their names, resulting in them being called Blake and Weiss Belladonna-Schnee. This is because Weiss, as expressed in the series, is still attached to her family name and wants to erase her father’s legacy with it by writing her own legacy over his. So she wouldn’t abandon her name upon marriage. Blake is similar in that she wants to keep her family name because of its history for the Faunus : Ghira Belladonna was the one who created and led the original White Fang for years, is the chief of Menagerie and both him and Blake had a hand in creating the New White Fang and taking down the old one. Because of that, I think that Blake would want to keep the Belladonna name because of its significance for recent Faunus history. At the same time, joining the Belladonna and Schnee names show that the two sides of the war between Faunus and Humans can live together without one upping or swallowing the other, in equality. Both Blake and Weiss liked the message it sent, and so they decided to join their names and pass both of them down to their children.

- after Jacques was arrested, the company was returned to Willow, seeing as how Whitley was too young to run it. But Willow has a hard time balancing her family situation, this new, stressing job and trying to recover from her addiction, so, after the war, she asks Weiss for help, seeing as she was actually taught, when she was still heiress, how to manage the company. Long story short, Willow, Weiss and Whitley all work together to keep the SDC running and undo all the shit Jacques did and give their workers better working conditions, equal pay, etc. A few years later, the SDC is finally on the right track, all the racist shits on the board of directors were forced to sell their shares to the Schnee family and, at about the same time as Weiss’ wedding with Blake occured, Willow gave Weiss ownership of the company. The organisation didn’t change though, Willow kept her position in the company, but she felt Weiss deserved this. Weiss took the opportunity to change the company’s name to the Belladonna-Schnee Dust Company, to show that the company was taking a fresh start with a new CEO, a new name and new policies in terms of human/Faunus equality.

- Blake is shit at dancing modern dances because she doesn’t understand the moves and most of them recquire her to more or less dance on her own, so she doesn’t have a partner, to move with, but, thanks to Weiss, she discovers that she is actually pretty good at ballroom dancing. It is lucky because it’s one of Weiss’ favourite things to do and Blake, as a good romantic, has always dreamed of waltzing with her lover. They will always dance together when there’s an opportunity to do so, be it at a party or a festival, and sometimes even in the privacy of Weiss’ office or their bedroom when the night is getting long and they just want to hold each other close and sway to the rhythm of a music Weiss is humming.

- I like to think that Weiss and Blake would live in the Schnee Manor with Willow, Winter, Whitley and their respective partners and children. Willow would want to stay in the house her father built and reclaim it as her own and her children wouldn’t want to leave her alone in this big Manor. Plus, they figure that if they all live together and without Jacques, they might actually make good memories in this house. Ruby and Penny would join them with their daughter too whenever they are in Atlas and Jaune, Ren, Nora and their children would also be welcomed to stay over whenever they visited their friends. (Yang is married to Winter so she’s there all year long, much to Weiss’ (fake) dismay =P) Thanks to all those people, the Schnee Manor becomes a warm, happy, lively place =) The fact that the children get to grow up all together and see their aunts and uncles on a daily basis is a big plus for everyone involved.

- Weiss works for the BSDC and Blake is a member of the High Council of the White Fang, but they still take missions as Huntresses from time to time (since Salem’s disappearance wouldn’t make the Grimm disappear). They can’t always take their missions together, but always try their best to do so. And because the BSDC is so pro-Faunus rights, they work together closely on improving working conditions for the BSDC employees while the BSDC provides official support and funds for the White Fang. Sometimes, Blake and Weiss will sit through a Kingdom’s Council meeting to discuss new Faunus rights laws and accomodations and let me tell you, Blake and Weiss Belladonna-Schnee are a mean combo to deal with. They have different approaches and domains of knowledge when it comes to Faunus rights and legistlation, which means that they complete each other’s arguments and points toward the proposed laws. The progressive Councilmen and Councilwomen who want to propose laws for Faunus rights can always turn to them for advice or to ask them to come defend it during a meeting. Their racist counterparts always pale when they hear that the Belladonna-Schnee couple is going to attend and speak during the meeting x)

- on a related note, Weiss and Blake are literally the strongest, most awesome, most ICONIC power couple Remnant has EVER seen. It’s kinda scary, actually, for some people, how powerful the Belladonna-Schnee family is. Not only are Blake and Weiss extremely strong and skilled Huntresses, they also have a lot of wealth, political power and a great reputation, not to mention how powerful and influential their loved ones and family members are. Blake Belladonna-Schnee is a war hero, as is her wife, is one of the most respected members of the High Council of the White Fang, the most respected and influential organisation for Faunus rights all across Remnant, and her father is Ghira Belladonna, highly respected former leader of the White Fang and actual chief of Menagerie. Weiss Belladonna-Schnee is the owner of one of the largest companies in all of Remnant, is one of the richest people of the world and is the sister of General Schnee, the leader of the strongest military in Remnant. Both of them have ties to all the other war heroes that helped save the world from Salem, one of which is married to the first synthetic human able to produce an aura and another is the daughter of a Maiden who is also the Headmistress of Haven Academy AND Willow Schnee’s lover (yes, I headcanon that Raven will be redeemed, become Haven’s Headmistress and grow closer to Willow to the point where they start dating. Fight me)

- Weiss, upon becoming a mother, learned how to bake cakes and cookies (Yang was the one who taught her) because she wanted to do something nice for her children to eat all on her own, no cake butler involved. Blake would join her when she had the time (usually when the children were napping) and either help or try to steal as much dough as she could depending on her mood. When she was feeling more teasing, the baking session would quickly devolve into a food fight, leaving both women covered in flour, milk and eggs, but also laughing their hearts out. As the children grew up, this became a family activity and the food fights, while less common because Weiss and Blake tried to be responsible adults in front of their children, were even more funny with the kittens involved~

Self-shipping AU

Just wanted to do these questions hehe ;w;

1. What kind of blog does your f/o have? Do they selfship on main? Do they look like a regular fan? Quiet reblogs or lots of gushing? Lots of analyses of your character and your source or incoherent blabbering? Do they have a headcanon blog? Do they try to roleplay as you?

Ren is shameless and only has like one sideblog that he reserves for creative stuff. He posts everything else onto his main blog. He also gushes a lot just lots of keysmashing and talking about how cute I am, and not a lot of analyses just tons of blabbering. He posts all his headcanons on his main blog and frequently tags pictures with our ship name if they remind him of us.

2. Do they prefer selfshipping by inserting themselves into your source, or by daydreaming about you in their own little / personal world, or by imagining you by their side during their daily life?

He definitely daydreams about me in his own little world especially before bed and also imagines me by his side during his daily life. He would probably insert himself into my source as well bc he's not satisfied with where he is in his life. He just wants to do everything.

3. What’s their self insert like? Is their s/i literally them? Is it basically them but with just a few changes - to be more like the person they’d like to be, or to “fit in” your source better? Is their s/i totally OP or extra or more realistic? Is it an OC that’s totally different from them?

His s/i is literally him. He doesn't change parts of himself to fit into my source or to be more like he wants to be because he uses self-shipping as coping and wants me to love him for him.

He's definitely a fandom wiki kind of guy and scours the internet for content. He doesn't need to look at references that much because he has me memorized pretty easily. There are multiple looks I've gone through in "canon" and while he loves all of them and it's hard to remember all of them, he tends to stick with the one that's most currently out in canon because it makes him feel like he's living beside me.

5. Do they create anything inspired by you and/or their ship with you? Fanart? Fanfics? Gifsets? Moodboards? Edits? Songs? Dances? Crafts? Playlists? Cosplays? Do they post them (or pictures of them) online? Do they sell any merch (online, at cons, etc)? Do they make pics of their selfship in dollmakers? Do they spend hours on otp prompt generators? He creates fanart but doesn't draw much anymore and is kind of sad about it because he misses how much he used to draw. Instead he tends to write fic and create songs and playlists. He posts his music and stuff online on his sideblog for creative stuff and doesn't sell merch when he goes to cons. Because he doesn't draw as much anymore he LOVES making us in dollmakers and picrews. He also commissions a shit ton of art for his selfship and is completely shameless about it.

6. Does your f/o have a selfship wedding with you? Do they celebrate it on their blog or more privately, with their fellow selfshipper friends? Do they make any content (like art, fics, etc) to celebrate?

He wrote a song to propose with and is waiting for anime canon to catch up to his favorite part from the manga before posting it and making a huge deal about it. When he does have the wedding he commissions a really extravagant wedding picture and has it framed and put in his room.

7. Does your f/o have fankids with you? If not, maybe pets?

We own a dog and he wants to have kids when we get married so he can cope with his anxieties of being a bad father.

Oh god lmao. So like I was doing this for Ren, but imagining everyone in a discord server is killing me!!! Vincent would do nothing but post porn gifs and be an absolute butt and laugh at people all the time and Jack would like never talk in it except to post the occasional psychological profile of me and talk about how interesting I am every once in a blue moon. Gengar would just cry type all the time. Craig would shitpost with memes and laugh at people because he’s a dick and not actually into self-shipping and Shino would analyze EVERYTHING from the show. The people who would gush and talk the most would be Ren and Omen ;w; Ren would share his music and Omen would think it's all very interesting. Omen might even develop a crush because Ren is so interesting and Ren would be completely oblivious bc he’s guzzling that self-ship juice lmao.

Ren likes the ship name Rae and uses that irl, but he likes to do the fun creative ones in order to tag stuff. He uses "Little Star" for it.

11. What’s your f/o like when they read / watch / play your source? Do they reread / rewatch / replay their favorite parts over and over? Do they make comments aloud? Which parts of your story made them laugh? Made them cry?

Ren gets really happy when he watches the anime because it's very relaxing. He watches his favorite parts over and over and over again until he can say the dialogue by heart. He doesn't make comments aloud but he gets super emotionally invested. His favorite parts that make him laugh are when I say goofy or dumb things and then comment on the irony and break the 4th wall. The parts that make him cry the most are any time I get hurt and start crying. When I got bullied or felt bad with my classmates or was hurt when I was very young. All of those hurt him a lot and he cried about it.

12. Do they post any videos related to your source? Like AMVs? Or reaction vids (with them reacting to your source as they read / watch / play / etc)? If your source is a game, do they make a walkthrough? Is it a perfect walkthrough, a more casual one?

He would like to make AMVs but doesn't really have editing software for it, but wants to learn! He wants to post reaction vids but is nervous about posting his face online for...reasons. lmao

Ren would definitely call himself my biggest fan. He wouldn't use husband but he'd definitely use fanboy.

He has a plush that he cuddles and sleeps with and sometimes makes out with lmao. He also has so much merch!!! He is the type to make ita content. On Christmas he decorates the tree with stuff and has posters all over the walls. His favorites tho are figures. He looooooooves figures the most. He's constantly shelling out the big bucks for the biggest and most detailed ones because he can look at them and feel like I exist in a 3d space.

-rubs hands together- His favorite content is hurt/comfort both with me being hurt and me hurting the other party, depending on his mood. When he gets unstable and lonely he plays out angsty situations to further his spirals. He knows it's unhealthy, but it comforts him at the same time. His favorite when he's feeling like being healthier is making irl AUs where he can play out his trauma with me as a caretaker figure or alongside him and comforting me.

16. Which of your f/os has 1341 pics of you saved on their phone / laptop? What kind of pic did they choose as their phone / laptop background? Is it a canon pic of you, or fanart, or art of their selfship with you?

Ren definitely hoards a lot of shit on his phone, he has so much content of me on it it's ridiculous. Omen kind of does the same but not nearly as much because he has multiple f/os and has to share space with them lmao. Vincent's phone is just filled with porn ok just lots of rule 34 shit but he also like doesn't have a lot of content on it because like he's just a horndog and only really gives a shit about the dirty content.
