I've been chipping away at info posts about The Nine and I'm like. how do I explain they were canonically a polycule, where do I put that info
#OOC / HOLLY.#if nothing else there's a fun fact for y'all#which I think makes the Crown and its outcome hurt EVEN WORSE#they adventured together for THIRTY YEARS#they built a HOME together#they were companions and friends and lovers#I genuinely think this was one of the happiest periods of Laeral's life#and she would've stayed with these people until they all passed away#and honestly? probably would've continued to live in the Stronghold — the home they built together — even then#literally nothing good ever happens to Laeral but that something proportionally as terrible happens#she never gains something but that she loses something else#this is not an exaggeration it happens to her every single time#like becoming pregnant but Khelben dying before she gives birth
