Can I hear your thoughts on this panel?
I feel that Hyrule looking at Legend as Four says that is important somehow... What do you think?
Hmmm
Well one thing I’ve noticed in the last couple of updates is Hyrule and Legend have been around each other A LOT
Practically ever since Hyrule finished healing Twilight and helping Four they’ve been hanging around each other. In close proximity too. Which, given that Legend usually only stands close to the people he trusts (principally Sky) is a big deal.
If Dawn pt. 5 is any indication, it seems that Hyrule is mostly initiating this lol
But Legend is letting him
Excuse me while I fangirl over the downfall duo for a moment. ALDNDLSDJSLDNSL THE BROTHERS EVER
Ahem ok let’s continue
Now, I’m overdue for a LU reread so correct me if I’m wrong BUT I seem to recall that they’ve never stayed this close to each other before. Could just be that they take comfort in one another’s presence. Seeing the panel you shared, though, I’m gonna say it’s more than that.
Idk if they’ve figured out their place in the timeline yet (I’m assuming not due to how everyone acted in Timeline Talk pt. 1). That doesn’t mean, however, that they haven’t begun to guess. Jojo has hinted at many interactions that the Links have had offscreen. Plus, Legend and Hyrule met up before they ran into the others. They’ve had time to get to know each other. I guarantee they’ve got suspicions about their places in time.
Which leads me to believe Hyrule is afraid of losing Legend. He must have figured out that Legend was a hero sometime before his journey began. Meaning, somewhere along the way he perished and the darkness he struggled so hard against spread over Hyrule anew. With Twilight just having escaped death (plus the cryptic comments he continues to make regarding Time’s fate), I’m sure untimely demises are on Hyrule’s mind.
I don’t think he knows Legend’s fate (unless there’s something in his games that hints toward the previous hero’s fate). But I believe he wants to. I can’t be the only one who sees the striking similarities between Legend and Time. He likely came to the realization that a guy like Legend will most likely die a wanderer or a warrior (doesn’t mean he did. I don’t like to think he did. One blorbo with a tragic end is enough XD But still). And being a hero and Legend’s friend he’s wondering if maybe, just maybe he can change that.
If it’s possible to know a future occurrence, it could be possible to transform it, right?

Outbreak Pt 2 (LU in Healthcare)
Legend slurped on his energy drink, anxious to get to work. He and the entire night shift had been called in early to attend some training for this new virus that was potentially a problem. Administration mandated everyone attend to see how to don and doff personal protective equipment.
It was mildly exasperating, as it had cut into his sleep and he'd run out of time to really grab an actual breakfast. But whatever. He paid attention as best he could, leg starting to bounce with nervous energy. When his phone buzzed, he glance down, distracted.
The name Zelda was on the screen, and he immediately tuned out everything around him.
They hardly messaged each other, really. Birthday wishes, the occasional "are you alive" text, that was about it. It was hard to maintain much of a good relationship sometimes, given... well, everything.
Hey. So. I have this patient. Heart attack, CABG, pathway, blah. But he's got family who knows you?? I just want to make sure??? Like he seemed legit but still. Says he goes by Wild.
He... the heart attack patient from yesterday...
Shit.
Legend texted quickly, gaze flicking between his phone and the person wearing a gown in the front. Yeah, I know a few people named Link, so we go by nicknames.
His sister's reply was practically instantaneous. Still not over the fact that you call yourself Legend LOL you're so lame
Legend huffed, feeling his cheeks flush. THERE'S A REASON OK
Uh huh. Sure. So this Wild dude is legit then? I didn't let some random stranger into my pt's room yest right?
Sighing, Legend replied, Nah he's legit. Good guy. Wish he could've told me his dad was here.
Because it had to be his father, right? The more Legend thought about it, the more it made sense. The man looked just like Wild, except for being older and more worn out. He'd been reaching out to Wild, calling out his name, in a frenzy. Wild had been acting strange. The long drawn out gaze with Time. All of it.
"Legend."
Glancing up, the travel nurse saw Warriors standing over him, looking grim. "Uh... Wars, you good?"
"Hope you paid attention to the training," Warriors said. "That patient who got diagnosed with Arfy at the urgent care is here. You're taking him."
Legend blinked. "He's--he's here? Did he get worse?"
"Yeah. They're intubating him now."
Great. As if his stomach wasn't in knots already. Warriors gave Legend the room and said that would be his only patient to try and decrease cross contamination with other rooms. Legend ran the training demonstration in his head, now mildly panicked that he'd ignored some of it in lieu of talking to his sister, but it was fairly straightforward. Everyone was already masking as a precaution, he just needed to start wearing gowns and goggles and face shields too.
Time to get to work.
XXX
Wild paced in his bedroom, simultaneously annoyed and thankful that he had tonight off. Everyone had texted him by this point asking if he was alright, and while he appreciated the sentiment, he really had no way of conveying that he desperately wanted and needed to keep his past separate from his present.
He hardly knew his life before Castle Town. But what he did remember was enough. He couldn't--he couldn't go back to that life. He'd lost everyone, and it had been his fault. As his memories had come back, he'd doubled down on avoiding his past, including his family.
How could he possibly reconcile the old him with who he was now, after all? He just wanted to close that chapter of his life. He just wanted closure, period. He was terrified of seeing his family again. What would they think of him? How could he have left them like he had? How could he ever return to them?
He... he wanted to check on his father. But he knew by now the rest of his family was likely at the hospital, and he did not need to see them. Guilt twisted his gut as he stared out the window, watching the cows graze in the pasture.
Sighing, he went downstairs, catching sight of Malon watching the news. He distracted himself with asking her what was up, and she said, "There's ten more cases of Arfy in town."
Wild blinked. Ten? Hadn't there just been one yesterday?
That... didn't bode well.
Before Wild could comment, Wind skipped in, having mentioned he was dropping by for dinner. "Yo, you guys should see the picture Legend just sent me of this guy's chest x-ray!"
Wild and Malon both crowded around Wind's phone to look at th eimage, and Wild asked, "So what am I looking at?"
Malon hissed, staring at the image. "Those lungs look awful."
"Right?" Wind glanced up at the OR nurse. "I'm surprised they have any compliance."
Wild stared at the pair dully. "I take it it's bad."
"His lungs are shot," Wind emphasized. "Like... they look like they're rocks. Legend said they can barely get the guy to oxygenate."
Wild felt a new twinge of anxiety in his chest. This new illness had been tearing through some cities in the Gerudo Desert, and now that it was in Castle Town...
As if he didn't have enough to worry about. He sighed. Hopefully his father would get better quickly and his family would leave before anything truly terrible happened.
Hopefully nothing terrible would happen at all.

As someone who's favourite LU duo is Wind n Wars I would love to know if you have thoughts on them!! :DDD
I HAVE SO MANY THOUGHTS AND HEADCANONS. I love these two so much, I really gotta write more stuff focusing on just them
- Wind is one of the only ones who can snuggle up to Wars when the captain is half asleep and not face the consequences of scaring the shit outta Wars. He still definitely spooks him if Wars didn’t see him coming, but it doesn’t take that long for Warriors to realize who it is
- Warriors has definitely had to grab Wind’s shoulder more than once to stop him from accidentally walking off a cliff or falling into a river because he wasn’t paying attention to how close to the edge he’d gotten
- Wars sometimes grabs Wind’s hand in crowded city streets because he gets too curious and darts off and the ONE time that happened it took three hours to find him. So now Wars holds his hand if he thinks Wind will run off
- Wind definitely looks up to Wars (and Time) and he’s tried to copy him a few times like doing his hair a similar way (Legend teased him to death and he hasn’t done it since) or quite literally walking in Warriors’s footsteps by stepping in the same spots as his boot prints and mimicking the way he walks. Wars is oblivious (because Wind is DIRECTLY behind him), and the others all think it’s really cute and sweet so they don’t say a word
- I headcanon Wind has super curly hair that he just doesn’t know how to take care of because he wasn’t taught before he had to run off on adventures, and while Warriors’s natural hair is not anywhere near as curly, he was able to help Wind learn how to take care of his hair. And he’s the only one Wind will let cut it
- Wind gets very curious about any little thing he sees Wars doing, like sewing up holes in tunics or things like that, so Warriors will offer to teach him (even if he knows Wind will lose interest in it after 24 hours)
#this is all i got for now cos my brain stopped working akjhsksjhjj but i have a lot of thoughts about these two#linked universe#linkeduniverse#lu warriors#lu wind#jes talks#jes ask#lu headcanons

Hi there! I hope youve been having a good day and had a treat rest can we get a soft and sweet chubby reader who wouldnt hurt a fly byt cant throw your across the sea like a pebble if your test her. Can we get her fighting agaisnt powerful gods and winning but being the sweet heart she is she makes sure theyre safe before anything else please!
-If anyone was to ask if you were a strong warrior, most would probably scoff or laugh in your face, but it was the truth- you were incredibly strong- you just didn’t show it often.
-You didn’t like hurting others- you didn’t even really like to spar with others, you preferred to train on your own, as your strength was a bit unusual, even for you.
-Other warriors knew that you were strong, but they didn’t know exactly how strong you were- as you were always so hesitant to fight against them, so they couldn’t gauge your strength.
-That was until a cocky upstart god insulted one of your good friends, Kojiro, calling him a loser and a washup, as he was taking a break when the god came to fight against the strongest of humanity’s warriors, and while the others were paired up with someone.
-You were nearby, not sparring, but you had made lunch for everyone, which caused happiness all around, but the moment you saw this god insulting Kojiro, who was just taking it, you saw red and instantly you glared.
-Lu Bu and Leonidas instantly grinned, seeing that you were pissed, which didn’t happen often as all eyes turned to you as you stalked over.
-Kojiro, seeing the angry demon that was approaching, was quick to lean back, knowing that you were about to kick ass, but not his.
-Your hand clapped down on the god’s shoulder, and he turned, angered that one of you humans would dare touch him and he instantly froze, seeing what looked like a furious demon there as your hand snapped to holding him around his throat, holding him up.
-With one swift motion you sent him sailing out of the training ground, his screams echoing around everyone before a crash was heard as he slammed hard into the ground.
-You were panting heavily, adrenaline rushing through your veins before you inhaled deeply, turning to the samurai before, “Kojiro~~” you instantly had him in your arms, hugging him close, “He didn’t hurt you, did he? Are you all right?”
-Loud laughter filled the training grounds, seeing the drastic change in your personality from one to the other as Kojiro enjoyed the hug, finding you very warm and comforting as you fussed over him.
-Since training came to a halt, either due to hugs or to laughter, you ushered everyone over to have lunch, something they appreciated, enjoying the meal you had prepared.
-They knew you were strong; they just didn’t want to incur your wrath themselves. They were curious, not stupid.

Stowaway Chapter 11
Trafalgar Law x Fem!Reader
Summary:
The reader is a slave to a nobleman due to her devil's fruit ability which allows her to control the emotions of the people around her. She flees to bump into Trafalgar Law and boards his ship.
Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 Chapter 6 Chapter 7 Chapter 8 Chapter 9 Chapter 10
A/N: Same topics as the previous chapter but if I were to title this Chapter I would call it Robin's and Sanji's therapy session.
---
As you sit in your thoughts a new figure joins. Sanji announced his presence by offering tea to the two beautiful ladies. Robin smiled taking the cup off the tray and grabbing the other to hand to you. You curl out of your ball and nervously take the cup.
Sanji lowers himself opposite to you and Robin leaning on the railing. You sighed, the sound heavy with the weight of the impending interrogation. You didn't try to leave this time excepting your faith. Sanji pulled out his cigarette blowing out a puff of smoke, "So how are you doing now?" He asked with concern laced in his voice.
"Why are you two so concerned for me?" You finally asked as you watched the two exchange glances.
Sanji sighed, "Let's just say we both can't help but feel a tinge of familiarity." seeing him act so seriously in front of women was unusual but something about this topic brought out a rarely seen side of him.
You look down at the warm tea in front of you understanding his words. "I don't want to die… At least I don't think I do." you spoke, "I don't know what came over me. I just want to protect what I do have now."
"Regaining all your memories at once is probably not helping," Robin stated, "You have a lot to sort through."
You nod in agreeance, "Why don't you tell us what you remember to sort it out." Sanji spoke up.
You sigh, "I never lost my memories of my time before the heart pirates. My mother's death… then being sold by my stepmother into the cruel world of the auction… the time with my first master. I was forced to forget escaping and running into Law and the warmth I found with Law and the Heart Pirates. Their acceptance, their love… it helped me heal, piece by shattered piece. I miss them." You pause as you think about your crew.
"My escaped gnawed at my master, his possessiveness refusing to let me go. He eventually tracked me down connecting me with the Heart Pirates. When I revealed to Law that my master was connected to Doflamingo he was covered with fear. Law never spoke of his past with Doflamingo just that he had one and my powers told me that he was filled with an unspoken terror. To protect Law from facing the man before he was ready, I fled to Amazon Lily, the island where we took your captain after Marineford."
"Amazon Lily?!" Sanji growled, "That bastard was on the Amazon Lily!" His glare shoots towards his captain full of jealousy and envy.
"Sanji," Robin warned causing the chef to refocus on your story.
You continued your story as your mind flashed to your capture.
---
Panic pulsed through the air as the island buzzed with desperate energy and Amazonian warriors prepared for battle. A rumor that a foreign ship has been spotted outside the island struck your attention. You wanted to run toward the forming battlefield but the pirate empress herself stopped you, "No," She commanded, "Go to your room. I have a bad feeling about this battle."
You disappeared to your room as told before the foreigners forced their way onto the island. You listen closely as the foreigners force their way into the throne room of the palace where Hancock waited.
"Hello, Hancock!" The intruder greeted.
"Men are not allowed on my island Doflamingo," Hancock spoke aggressively.
"Oh, Hancock let's skip that part and make a deal warlord to warlord," Doflamingo spoke sending chills down your spine. Hancock did not give the man a response that you can sense had upset him. "I know that after the battle of Marine Fort, you aided and harbored a particular pirate a Monkey. D Luffy"
You sensed Hancock's stress grow at the mention of Luffy's name but knowing her she is hiding it well. "I don't know what you are referring to."
The man laughed, "I personally don't care about your reasoning but I think the government might. No, what I care about is the fact that Trafalgar Law was with the straw hat pirate at the time."
Your heart dropped at the mention of Law's name.
"I learned that a crew member of his has taken refuge here."
"Get off my island Doflamingo!" Hancock shouted standing her ground.
"Ah, so she is here." Doflamingo laughed, "I'll make a deal with you. I will keep your secret from the Marines if you give me the girl."
Boa did not respond and instead, you start hearing the start of a fight. You sense 5 other people enter the palace. You begin to hear the starting of a battle as the Amazons fend off the intruders. As you focus on the intruders with your Haki you almost miss your door slamming open revealing Marguerite. "Y/N we need to get you out of here!" She shouted and you nodded.
Unfortunately, her shout drew the attention of one of the intruders you sense the intruder's path changing to your room and you pull Marguerite to the ground before a cannon is shot through the door, flying over your head and destroying the wall to the outside.
You turn around to see a young woman with long black hair and a cannon for an arm. You jumped up and pulled Marguerite out of the new hole in the wall. Instead of falling down to the ground with Marguerite, you cling to the wall. "What are you doing?" She hissed from the ground behind a bush.
"keep running I'll be there in a second." You hissed back and she nodded running off making the bushes shift. The woman who attacked you walked up to the hole watching the Amazon run away. She holds her arm out to aim and you take your chance. You grabbed onto her arm and forced her to feel an intense fear. She screams and holds her head seemingly going through a mental break.
You jumped off the wall and to the ground to catch up with Marguerite. The two of you took off through the forest a more familiar land for you to hide and defend. You met up with a few more Amazons who were ready to help defend you from the intruders.
You all took to the trees shooting down any intruder with Haki-filled arrows. You also got the opportunity to use your new use for your power by coating your arrows with a mist of emotions that will cause your targets to fall to whichever emotion you filled them with. You all held your own quite well not allowing any intruders to make it far into the forest or to leave to inform their leaders of your location.
A loud boom echoed through the forest changing the tides of your fight. Above you, strings began to stretch down surrounding the island. Arrows made of string began to fall from the sky striking down the Amazons that surrounded you. They fell from the trees when they were hit and you rushed to the ground after them.
As you tended to one of the Amazon Marguerite came up behind you aiming her arrow at you. Her scream gave you enough time to dodge her attack rolling to the side. You looked at the haki-filled arrow nailed deep into the ground where you once were.
"Marguerite what's happening?!" You shout at her as she starts to cry while aiming another arrow at you.
"Get out of here!" She shouted as you shuffled to your feet you felt her fear and knew you needed to follow her words. Before you got a chance to run a hand wrapped around your ankle. You looked down to see the Amazon you were just tending to hold you in place.
The feeling of fear and confusion filled the air as all the Amazons started to stand up. They all drew their bows at you. They all shouted at you to run away before firing at you.
You shook off the hand on your ankle before you ran. Arrows flew past you not in the way that has when training but with aggression and thirst for blood.
You sent a mist of red fear in an attempt to steer the amazons away but when they ran through the mist they never stopped their chase but now showed more fear on their faces. You freeze in confusion as you watch the people you considered family for the past 8 months run at you with tears in their eyes.
In a moment of realization, you create a mist of calmness for the Amazons to run through. Their tears dried up and they looked at you in confusion as you stood in front of them no longer running from them.
You were immediately tackled to the ground and the snakes the Amazons held and boes turned into bondage. "Y/N! Why!" Marguerite cried running up behind the other Amazons not running through the mist you used to calm the other Amazons.
"I can't fight you." You sob on the ground, "You all helped me so much and I don't want you to feel guilty that something is forcing you to do this."
Marguerite cried as she was forced to punch you to knock you out.
When you woke up you were being dragged through the door of the palace with blood dripping down your chin. Marguerite was the one leading the way as the Amazons brought their prize to the Doflamingo all with stone-calmed faces except for Marguerite who had tears still falling down her face.
A chilling laugh echoed through the room as Doflamingo sprawled himself on Hancock's throne, her unconscious form lying beside him like a discarded doll. You scowl at the man when you are pushed to his feet. He reached down grabbed you by your neck and pulled you toward his face, "All of this fighting just for you." He spat in your face, "Pathetic."
You gather the blood in your mouth and spit it into his face. a vein throbbed on his forehead but he simply wiped the blood off his face with his hand and licked it off. "Oh, I will enjoy breaking you." He threw you off to the side.
He lifted his hand up and all the amazons fell uncautious being released from his control. The woman who attacked you earlier approached you holding chains which she placed on you removing the snake that was bounding you. As soon as the chains were placed on your hands you knew they were Sea Stone as you felt your energy sapping.
The man approached you grabbing you by the neck again pulling you off the floor. His eyes dart to your hip and you feel uncomfortable for the first time in the revealing outfits of the Amazon. He smiled seeing your tattoo that represented your freedom and place within the heart pirates but now felt like a target. "I see Law has placed his mark on you." he taunted.
He continued to hold you by your neck but lowered you to his ground as he dragged you out of the palace.
---
tears streamed down your face as you recalled the attack on Amazon Lily and your capture to Sanji and Robin, "At that point, I felt like I was just destined to be a tool."
Your sentence hit a cord with Sanji and Robin now understand why they both feel so similar to you.
The two waited patiently for you to continue your story. "He brought me back to Dressrosa and locked me in a cellar deep within the castle. The hardest part was when my old Master came to visit."
---
You sat in the cold cellar chained to the wall by a Sea Stone chain that locked to your neck; a full plate of food that you refused to touch hoping that at the very least you could starve yourself to death. The door creaked open and you looked up to see the figure of your old Master and his friend who had found you in a town and was your past abuser.
Fear grew within you as they approached you knowing you were stuck. You pushed yourself as far as you could into the wall in an attempt to create as much space between you as you could. Your master walked up to you with pretend worry in his eyes as he gently rubbed your cheek which was still swollen.
"What did they do to you." He complained as his eyes and fingers wandered over your figure still wearing the revealing clothing of the Amazons. When his eyes landed on your hip where his mark once sat now replaced with a heart tattoo. "What the hell is this!" He grabbed the skin of your hip causing you to yipe. He growled as he grabbed onto your cheeks, "You have no idea how kind I have been! I didn't destroy your body with a banding as everyone insisted instead I gave you a beautiful tattoo and this is what you do!" He tossed you to the side. You spit the dirt out of your mouth as you sit back up only to be kicked back down.
Your old master spits on you before whispering to his friend and leaving the room. His friend stepped forward punching his fist into his hand seeking his revenge for what Law had done to him. You noticed some features on his face were still not in the right place, his eyebrows were switched, and his thumbs were backward he looked like a Picasso piece. You couldn't help but snicker at the sight.
Smack…
You were kicked back into the wall as a punishment for your snicker.
---
Your voice cracked as you told your story and Robin pulled your head gently onto her shoulder for comfort. You sniffed away your tears, "Doflamingo would then come in and nurse me to health, he would tell me a story about how he could save me from my abusive master all I had to do was become a part of his family. At the same time, he was doing something to my memories." You instinctively rubbed the back of your neck where the strings were pulled out of your brain.
"After a week I agreed and I was made into the perfect servant for him." You hold your head blocking the expressions of the two pirates as you tear up. "One day he told me I was going on an important mission, to spy on Law."
You pull out the Vivre card that you kept in your pocket with the transponder snail you were too afraid to toss "He gave me a snail and told me he made me a Vivre card so he can come in a rescue me after my mission. and then… he gave me… his vivre card." You froze staring at the card. You thought it was a piece of your own card to give to Ceaser but it wasn't it was his card.
Sanji reached out for the piece of paper. "So this card is pointing to Doflamingo." He investigated it laying it flat on his palm and watching it point behind them.
Robin's concern deepened. "That might be helpful," she said, her voice laced with urgency. "Let's go tell the rest."
As you walk down the stairs with Robin, Law jumps up with concern upon seeing your face and runs up to you. You wipe your tears and grab his hand, "Law" your voice cracked, "I have some important information."
You pull out the snail and the Vivre card which sends Usopp and Nami into a panic as you tell Law that the snail is how you have been communicating with Flamingo and how he had made a Vivre card for you. You then tell him how this Vivre card isn't a piece of yours like you thought. It was his.
Law takes the card and looks at it carefully as it points in the direction of punk Hazard the island they just left. Law looks up to the skies and sighs with relief, "The skies are clear so he can't follow us. We should be careful from now on keeping y/n away from anything we don't him to find."
Your face turns to guilt which Luffy caught onto. "Don't worry, Y/N," His voice cutting through the tension, "by the end of tomorrow, he'll have no control over you." His words offered a sliver of hope, a promise that chased away some of the shadows clinging to your heart.
Sanji then announced himself in front of the kitchen door where he disappeared to, "Dinner is up!" The crew jumped up in excitement running to the kitchen. After the crew dispersed, you lingered behind with Law, your heart pounding in your chest.
He pulled you into a tight embrace, his warmth offering a comforting haven. Tears streamed down your face as you confessed, "I'm so sorry." Your voice trembled, filled with guilt and regret. "I should have told you sooner."
Law held you close, his touch calming the storm within you. You pulled back, your eyes searching his. "I tried to kill myself last night," you confessed, the words tumbling out in a rush. "I didn't want him to find us. I didn't want to ruin your plans any more than I already have…" Your voice broke, the pain threatening to consume you.
"I… I didn't want to be the reason you die," you choked out, burying your face in his chest. "The whole reason Doflamingo captured me, manipulated me, was to get to you. And I… I don't want that to happen. I… I love you."
Silence descended, thick and heavy. Then, Law gently lifted your chin, his gaze meeting yours. His eyes, usually stoic and unreadable, held a depth of emotion you had never seen before.
Law wiped away your tears and placed his forehead onto yours, "I know," he said simply.

Which Links do you think have been to formal schools?
Oooo, good question
Sky without a doubt has a formal education; I am not sure what kind of teaching they do at the knight's academy, but I am sure they would teach some kind of math, science, or whatever was known in Skyloft at the time.
I think Four might've also had a formal education, as we can see a school in Minish Cap in Hyrule Town. Then when he was of age, he would've been taken under apprenticeship by his grandfather (or maybe taught smithing at an earlier age, who knows).
For Time, I think he relies heavily on experience. The Kokiri don't have a traditional school, and judging from the little training area and how highly they regard their deity, I think they have a sort of "figure it out" mentality when it comes to, well, figuring stuff out. I don't see Time (especially as a kid) to going to anyone for anything, but I think Talon would teach him some things, especially when he gets together with Malon as that's probably the only adult that Time trusts (since the Great Deku Tree is gone).
Legend is taught by his uncle during his childhood, and does try to go seek more places to learn (as apparently he does travel in pursuit of knowledge, hence why he got caught up in the oracle games/link's awakening). Then, afterwards, tries an apprenticeship with the blacksmith but then just decides experience is the best teacher and travels from there.
Much like Time, Hyrule is also a hands-on learner. I think the reason why he might be so insecure about his place in the Chain is because he wasn't taught properly like some of the other knights; one day he was just given a sword and was told to go save Princess Zelda. The only things that he were taught were magic spells by old people in Zelda 2 (though I am not too familiar with the game so I might be wrong on that) and that is about as much as he would learn. I like to headcanon that he tried to get a formal education in the 6 years in between games with Princess Zelda, but it didn't work out for him.
Twilight was most definitely taught by the people of Ordon. Probably not any formal education, as Ordon is a small village and probably not enough kids to have a proper school (like, you're telling me that Ilia is the only other kid in the entire village close to Link's age? And look at that age gap between Link, Ilia, and the other kids!). I think Fado taught Twilight all of the ranching aspects -- horse riding, animal tending, etc -- while Rusl taught him how to fight, other things a boy needs to know, and Uli taught him how to take care of himself and to help others.
I'm not too knowledgable about what goes in Wind Waker, but there is the old guy that teaches Wind how to sword fight, right? If I am thinking correctly, I think Wind's island would've had kind of like what they had in Moana and that the village elders would just teach the kids what they need to know, mainly stories as that's kind of what Link's grandma does in the beginning of the game.
I think Warriors was taught by some sort of school. After all, he had to become a knight in training and there had to have been some qualifications to get into that, right? Either that or he was taught at the knight training place, where he would've learned to strategize and make rational decisions. Maybe some heavy-duty military training.
Lastly, that leads to Wild. I kind of have a few headcanons with this, so stick with me.
Before the Calamity, Wild was definitely taught things when he was travelling with his father's knights, especially how to fight. He was probably under apprenticeship with his father, as it's sort of baffling to me why a four year old would be travelling with the knights instead of, I don't know, at a daycare or something? (But that raises the question of if whether or not his mom is alive, but she should be since Wild's sister is canon in LU, but then again his dad could've remarried and had his little sister a bit later. Actually, I kinda like that idea.)
Anyways, when Wild was old enough he could've further his training and education at the military camp right outside of the Lost Woods, which would've made it easier for him to find the Master Sword when he was twelve (plus with the village nearby, he and his father could've been living there as it is close to the castle, but not close enough at the same time). Then for the next five years, Wild just goes around Hyrule, doing natural hero stuff, developing his stoic personality as everyone sort of tells him what a hero should be; so it gives him plenty of time to mold that persona until eventually he becomes a Champion and... well, y'know the rest.
After the Calamity, Wild just sorts of takes the Time and Hyrule route and learns on his own. Though, I will say I think Wild is more open to asking how this are and what to do with things more than the former heroes because its quite easy in the game to have a tutorial on literally anything if you ask the right npc. So, he would just have an education from just random travelers he meets. Plus I guess it would make fighting easier since he still has muscle memory, due to his prowess with weapons right from the get-go.

General LU Headcanons part 1
Heya! So I'm starting this blog with some general headcanons about the boys, I think I'll divide it in three parts so it's not too long. First up are Four, Hyrule, and Legend! Hope you enjoy :D
Part 2 Part 3
Four
It takes him so long to emerge from sleep
Like he'll be in a haze for like 20 minutes, not able to form any coherent thoughts
Which is kind of a surprise because he's one of the early risers, and is super reactive once fully awake
He tends to talk to himself a lot, mostly when he does something or thinks through a problem
It's mostly to exteriorize all the noise inside his head tho
The others aren't as weirded out by it than he feared, and he's thankful for it
Whenever they're in a market or just in a town, he always finds himself drawn to craftsmanship
Like if they need to interrogate people about monsters and stuff, he'll go ask artisans mostly
He feels more comfortable around them
It feels like home
Also he likes to compare his work to other blacksmith's
He feels like he has a lot to learn still, and he's very curious about how the craft has evolved with time
He doesn't know first aid and the scent of blood makes him sick, but if his teammates need tending he'll do his best
He tries to see their wounds as metal work needing repairs
It helps him keep his cool
But he'd rather leave it to someone else
Hyrule
Another early riser, but he hates it
He loves sleeping in and wishes his body would let him sometimes
But oh well, when it's time to wake up it's time to wake up
He's a very light sleeper too, like the wind blowing in the leaves above would wake him up
He hates it
Botany nerd
Loves keeping track of the new plants he finds along the way
He always asks the Link from the Hyrule they're in if he knows about it, and will pick them up if he can't get an answer, to study them later hopefully
He rarely can, but when they have a moment he'll either find a plant book (and a Link who can read it for him) or straight up ask someone if they know about the plant
He's always so polite and genuinely curious, people can't help but answer
He accidentally set Sky's stuff on fire once when showing off his fire magic to Wind
Sky was too impressed to truly be mad at him tho
(Also Hyrule replaced all of the stuff that couldn't be repaired, don't ask him how)
He doesn't mind blood and grime and gore, but can't handle anything with maggots in it
He'll stitch up anything, he'll put bones back in place if necessary, but one bug? In a wound? Don't count on him
He can keep his calm even before the grossest injuries, which is why he's often fixing up the others after a fight
He rarely uses his healing magic tho, he knows he'll tire too easily, and he can't help them if he can barely stay awake
So potions potions potions
He's a gentle caregiver but you better do as he says when you're hurt
Legend
A heavy sleeper, and he dreams a lot, but he never remember them
Probably for the best if you ask him
He usually wakes late, but never truly rested unfortunately
That never stoped him from being immediately efficient and fully awake tho
He knows he has a reputation of being sharp and closed off, but he's a really good listener
He's the kind of person curse the world with you when you vent until you're in the right headspace to find a solution
He kind of encourages the others in their dumbest ideas just to see what'll happen
(not the too dangerous ones, of course)
But he's curious, and after all the adventures he's been through, he believes that if he survived all of this, surely Wild will survive trying to cook a bomb flower
He did, but Twilight almost died of stress
He's the one who helps Warrior with refilling their inventory when they're low on supplies
He's a great negotiator and can get them twice the supplies for the same price
He's sometimes even charming enough to get them all a free meal
It's his favorite skill
He doesn't mind blood but will not look at broken limbs
Not his own, not other's
He tries to keep his cool around the others to not make them panic, but he really hates broken bones
If one of them is hurt, he'll try to distract them and make sure they have water and enough heat
He'll also keep them in place if they move around too much for Hyrule or Warrior to work on them
He's not gentle, but he's still reassuring somehow

Hold up, HOLD UP.
What if the chain was in a really heated battle with a bunch of enemies, they aren't letting the reader even five meters away, so the reader is just watching, you know?
But then the reader just sees a Link was about to get attacked, shit.
So the reader ran headfirst in the middle of the battlefield, not paying attention to any of the Links' yells at them to retreat, no, they are way too focused in saving one of them.
The Link looks at them in confusion until the reader pushed them away, and then they got hit in the head by an enemy, losing consciousness.
They had sacrificed themselves. They pushed that Link away a split second before he was supposed to be hit in the head, but no.
The reader took the blow.
*Angst city
Angst city
ANGST CITY!!
No but for real, imagine the things that could happen after the hit. I mean, Reader could fall into a coma, get seriously hurt from the hit, get amnesia and NOT remember anything about the Chain or their adventure with them!
Could you imagine if Reader actually got comfortable with the Chain and finally accepted their yandere tendencies and began to love them back only to develop amnesia and the Chain has to start back at square one?!?!
Like… I gotta make a little snippet for this now I swear.
Also I hope you don’t mind, I know you’ve kinda lost interest in LU but I really like you ask ideas so I’m still going to answer them. I hope that’s okay Chrom!*
This wasn’t how it was supposed to go.
Wind could only stare down in shock, the person he viewed as his older sibling, someone he would give his life for, was laying at his feet unresponsive with a bleeding wound on their head that just kept getting more and more red as the green grass was dyed a more brownish and rusted copper color.
He wanted to throw up.
He was used to fights, contrary to the chain’s forgetfulness. He had gotten wounds and injuries of his own that he alone had to patch up on his journey to save his own home.
But he was 12 and this was different.
This time he hadn’t been the one to get hurt, instead he had to watch someone dear to him be struck down.
It felt like when he had watched Aryll be taken away that day long ago, but even worse because Aryll was alive and…
He couldn’t even bear the thought of it.
He just continued to stare down at your crumbled form in shock.
The others quickly took note of what had happened, all with ranging emotions at the forefront of their minds.
But one thing was similar.
They were pissed and they wanted revenge.
All hell broke loose on the battlefield.
Time’s hands itched, reaching instinctively to the ominous mask on his hip. Why shouldn’t he let the Deity out to enact vengeance upon those who had dared to hurt one he held so dear.
Warriors cut through the monsters with a brutal finesse and he did so efficiently and effortlessly, making his way across the battlefield with a cold and hard gaze that any soldier would have in a war. He didn’t care if the monsters would have a slow, agonizing death. Only that they would be incapacitated and that they would die.
Four split without a second thought, if the chain didn’t already know about his ability and of the colors then they did now. The four colors working together to take down the onslaught of monsters more quickly, each with their own style. Needless to say Blue was the most brutal and impulsive out of the colors, not caring a thought about any injury he may have or did sustain during his rampage.
Hyrule and Legend didn’t waste a second and we’re next to your body and Wind as everything went down. Hyrule worked on checking out the head injury and using any and all healing items along with his own magic to help stop the bleeding and heal the wound.
Legend, meanwhile, was the defense. He had his sword at the ready on his hip while his fire rod was in his hand, ready to go full on scorched earth at any monster that even thought to try and get close.
Wild , Twilight, and Sky teamed up. Wild would use his Sheikah slate abilities to freeze the monsters in time, allowing Sky and Twilight to wail on the monster before they moved onto the next. Meanwhile, Wild continued to shoot down more monsters with his bow and assortment of arrows, he even used up many of his ancient arrows to get rid of them quicker.
With all of their combined efforts the hoard didn’t last even a whole two minutes. And when everything was said and done, the rest chain converged on where you lay; either talking to Hyrule about your condition or checking in on Wind.
The days after the attack are spent in an inn, under Time’s order. It doesn’t matter if Hyrule healed everything up, you’re resting and being pampered and that’s final.
Wind stays next to your side like a leech, not leaving you alone even for a second. Well really they all do, but Wind does NOT leave you alone. You guys are roomies now too, doesn’t matter if there isn’t a second bed in your inn room. He’s either gonna sleep in the same bed or (if the others tell him he can’t due to your injuries) he’s dragging his mattress from his room to yours.

Inspired by @crazylittlejester's Wars headcanons, which intersect a lot with my own issues with food so of course it stuck with me.
Content warning for discussion of a very broken relationship with food/implied restriction, but I like making things a little hopeful and sweet.
Twilight & Warriors LU fic, rated G, approx 1000 words.
Also on AO3
IIII
Twilight set up to make dinner, as he had a hundred nights before for the group, with about twenty minutes of that being debating what to make with Wild, which one of them was going to be in charge tonight, and then getting the ingredients out of Wild’s slate before he settled to clean up and start. It was his favourite chore, if he was honest; he loved cooking when Wild let him, and after how long they’d been together Wild often was content to help rather than lead. He got distracted a lot, and liked the chance to get up and wander, and after one too many “What if” ideas, the others preferred it, too.
It was around when Wild wandered off to see what Hyrule and Wind were doing that Twilight saw Warriors crack his neck at the far side of the fire and stand up. He turned and started walking away himself and Twilight froze.
Had he ever seen Warriors leave the fire when he was cooking? He didn’t think so. His mouth twitched. “Leaving already?” he joked. “I’m gonna miss the company.”
Warriors startled, then turned and laughed. “What, you liked me just hanging around staring at you?”
“I don’t care,” Twilight admitted. “Although in Ordon I’m used to the company. I've just gotten so used to you watching the whole time it’s strange to see you go.”
To his surprise, the other man walked around the fire and touched his shoulder. “I think if you haven’t poisoned me after four months, you’re not going to. I don’t think Wild would either, at least on purpose, but...”
Twilight automatically responded to the second with, “He’s only done that once,” before the first part finished processing. “You thought I might poison you?!”
The hand almost left his shoulder, then squeezed it before its owner dropped to sit beside him. Twilight turned to stare, but Warriors couldn’t quite meet his eyes or answer him. Twilight stared at his hands again and tried to think back – he knew at some point in the first two weeks they’d been together, Time had talked to Warriors although not what about. That was when he’d started watching him cook.
Had he ever eaten with them before that? Twilight didn’t think so. When Wild cooked, Warriors usually asked him for something to make himself and...
“Something happened during the war?” Twilight guessed, when Warriors hadn’t spoken.
“Very early in the war,” he agreed. He looked around the nearly-empty fire, but most of the others were napping, training, or getting up to something else. “Impa had taken me on as her protege and – literally within two weeks of losing the castle, I fell.... very ill. I almost died; if we hadn’t been staying with the Sheikah, I likely would have. And within days of pulling out of danger, I was sick again before they could find out who was doing it.”
Twilight swore and narrowly missed cutting his finger as he cut up the onions in front of him. He shook himself and sighed. “Shit. That fucking....” He couldn’t think of a strong enough word.
Warriors snorted quietly. “I’d be sick after eating anything after that, for another two weeks until Impa figured out a strategy to make me not... Not panic at the thought. Fairies can detect most poisons, so I started coaxing them to stay close, and the rest of the time... If I didn’t make it, or Impa didn’t vouch for it, I just.... didn’t eat. Add that to rationing, and I made more than a few people scared for my health the rest of the war.”
Twilight didn’t comment that he’d honestly talked to Time about how he looked now. Warriors still was one of the skinniest among them, although Twilight had just assumed it was his natural body type. But to hear the rest was.
“I don’t mind you watching me,” he said, because what else could he say?
“I’ve appreciated it,” Warriors said, softly. “Time caught me not eating and reminded me we had to trust each other. It was... hard.”
He’d never watched anyone close enough to see if the risk of Warriors being too nervous to keep food down had come up now, Twilight supposed, and he wasn’t going to ask now. But it was tempting. He dumped the chopped onion into the pot and started on the wild garlic, feeling his eyes with more pressure than before.
Was it clean enough? Did he think his food was safe?
Cooking for the village children meant a lot to him; he was always careful about that, because making one of them sick was his worst nightmare. But it didn’t feel the same as the importance of realizing Warriors trusted him in the face of something that’d almost killed him before too.
Just as vital, but nowhere near the same.
“Thank you,” Twilight said. He swallowed until his eyes didn’t burn. “For trusting me. Is there anything else...?”
Warriors snorted, hard. “Just warn me if Wild tries to talk you into anything weird if I walk away. Alright?”
Twilight turned and caught his eyes before he nodded, not letting the lightness in his voice belie the fear he could see there. “I promise. No surprises here.”
“Great. I’m gonna go find the river and bath, then.” Warriors stretched his jaw and stood, squeezing Twilight’s shoulder as he walked away, his light tone at odds with the tension in his back.
Twilight would chase Wild off with the spoon if he had to to keep that trust.

Ask game: Hero of Warriors?!?!!?! 👀
🤗
🍿
Oh, dang, this was from forever ago I didn’t think I’d see an ask for this game ever again. However, this was one that I wasn’t asked about that I really wanted to talk about, so thank you for asking about it!
I’ll talk about it for a bit first, then share a snippet of what I’ve got done, if that’s alright with you.
So, this is a fic I haven’t worked on in months because I kinda got distracted with other ones and haven’t yet had the time to go back to it. For those who have heard of Epic: The Musical (which I’ve come to realize is a lot of people in the LU fandom), the fic is based off of the songs Survive and Remember Them. I haven’t quite gotten to the part where these two songs actually come into play, but I’m extremely close to getting started on where Survive will happen, if that makes sense.
Besides the fact that I got distracted, another reason as to why the fic has been untouched for so long is because I’m unsure as to how much of the song lyrics and such to include in the fic. There are certain lines I know for certain that I will be including, because how could I not?, but I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to have the dialogue be the lyrics word for word, or if it’s better to skip over certain things.
This fic has also somehow managed to branch off into ideas for other fics titled similarly and revolving around the same idea for each Lu character. These ones are still completely unwritten, and I’m not planning on starting them until I get the one for Wars done.
(Okay, that’s a lie. I have, like, a sentence for two written for Legend and one of the others that I can’t remember which one it is, nor do I want to search all my docs at the moment)
Now for the snippet I promised:
“Well, I suppose we can lend a hand or two, what do you guys say?” Warriors turned around, addressing the rest of the Chain who had managed to cut down the surrounding monsters enough for them all to talk.
Wild’s immediate reaction was to run off and charge some nearby Bokoblins that had gotten too close to some of the soldiers. He was soon followed by Wind and Four, the two of them yelling some sort of battle cry as they slashed through any enemy that crossed their path. The rest of them were quick to join the battle, assisting soldiers who appeared to be in need of reinforcements.
After some time, the monster forces seemed to be dwindling, and while it took longer to kill these ones off, — Legend learned the hard way that they had infected blood — they were making more progress than the troops had been making without the Heroes of Courage.
“I think we’ve almost got them all,” said Twilight from across the battlefield. It was hard to hear him properly due to the sound of clashing shields and weapons, but the Rancher was loud enough that it sparked some hope in everyone present, giving them all the more reason to continue fighting until they no longer could.
“Well, that’s good,” breathed Hyrule from somewhere off to the side, treating Legend’s injured arm while still keeping an eye out for any threats coming their way.
Warriors looked around, scanning the area for the rest of his fellow heroes. He caught a glimpse of Wild running through a crowd of ChuChus, slicing them apart with ease, before he lost sight of the Champion. Sky wasn’t too far away from him, using the Master Sword to fight some Moblins from Wild’s world. He didn’t have time to worry about the fact that they were not only battling black-blooded enemies, but also ones from Wild’s era, some of the strongest they’d ever encountered even when not infected. From behind him, he heard Wind’s battle cries once more and came across the sight of his little brother caught in combat with an Aeralfos, the winged creature swooping down on him. That, however, didn’t appear to be a problem for the Sailor seeing how he just jumped out of the way before stabbing it with his sword
That brought the total up to six, seven counting himself. Only two others were left.
I (surprisingly) have a lot more than this written, it just might take a while to get out, but I promise it’ll come eventually
#I had everything up until the snippet typed up this morning and had planned on posting it then#but then I had to leave for school#currently sitting in one of my classes trying to finish this up and get it posted as soon as I can but school internet sucks#So it might have to wait#linked universe#warriors linked universe#lu wars

Day 23 - Forced Choice
Character(s): Warriors and Wind (LU)
Words: 1599
Summary: Warriors would do anything for his little brother, anything. At the end, he was the only real one.
Whump scale: 4 (see the full scale here)
Warnings: Injury, Major Character Death, slight manipulation
Part 1 in Day 2
-
Dark, everything was dark. Maybe because his eyes were closed.
Or maybe not, he didn’t know. When the light got to his eyes he had to close them instantly.
His body was trapped by a rope, his body leaning on a rock.
“Finally awake! Glad to see that my special guest did have good dreams.” A familiar voice, one that was painfully from his loved ones.
He wasn’t sure if they were really there anymore.
“Why so silent? I remember you being like this, but right now you should be screaming at me! Insulting me! Calling me the worst words in the hylian dialect!” The voices changed, making it look like a lot of people were in the place.
He knew that only one person was here.
“Stop using them as a costume.” His voice was raspy, that damn soup was horrendous.
“Oh! But they’re so fun~” The veteran’s face greeted him, his voice too similar to the one that he had heard for his whole journey. “I can’t believe that the Hero of Warriors is a fun-breaker, and I expected more from you”
His own face was now looking at him, the only differences being his hair, tunic and eyes.
Warriors didn’t answer to that comment, the Shadow didn’t deserve his words, even though he wanted to call him so many things.
“Mm… Let’s see, would you be more talkative if I give you some information?” The smirk went ear to ear.
That gained his attention, still, he knew this trick. He had been a victim of it a long time ago.
“Well… I can tell you a little about your brothers, your real brothers.”
“Speak, now.” Are they fine? Didn’t they get killed or something?
“Let’s see… We’ll go in chronological order, you won’t mind, would you?” The Shadow didn’t wait for an answer, walking around him, like if this was a fun game. “The bird one, yes he’s fine, mostly what you know is true. He’s at home, living his life with his dear goddesses-reincarnated girlfriend or whatever.”
Sky, he was fine. At least that’s something.
“The tiny one, he had chores to do at home, so no adventure from him.” Something flashed from its eyes “Although, the little rat decided to just left one with all the work, and he claimed that he finally learned how to work in group, what a liar.”
That, was interesting. He knew that there was something weird with the smithy, but, huh, he must have had reasons to not mention the fact that he had other siblings.
“We’re gonna omit one, because he’s special.” Before Warriors could ask who, the Shadow kept talking “Our dear veteran, ahh yes, he’s living with that merchant from a mirror kingdom, I think they have something going on, I never understood.”
Ravio? He suspected something, but he was glad that Legend was happy, maybe even getting finally a break.
“Now, the guy that followed that pink rabbit like a lost puppy” Even if he didn’t want to admit it, that description was fitting in some way “At least he’s alive.”
So little information? That was… Not good.
“The rancher, a good man, depressed but honestly he doesn’t even seem to care” If Warriors gets to see him again, he needs to talk with him about that. “And the wild child, that guy has still work to do, but he’s still whole… For now.”
“What do you mean by-“
“ANYWAY!” That was rude. “Finally, the one that you might be wondering how is his life going.”
Depending of what comes out of that fake mouth, he will commit murder.
“He has a wife” Warriors’ mouth was shut before he could ask “They’re happy, he has a ranch and I think he was about to give you a nephew, or niece, I’m not sure.”
So. His little brother. The little Mask was going to be a father. If it wasn’t for the situation, he would be so proud.
“Yeah, that’s all the information I got for you.”
Now was his turn to ask the questions “They got completely safe home? Nothing happened to them during the way?”
That made the Shadow giggle, like if the captain was just telling a stupid joke.
“They never were there with you.” Its face changed to an unsettling one, a smile that easily would put nervous to even the roughest of the generals. “All this time, you were with illusions, puppets if you want a clearer description.”
Maybe his face was doing a funny expression, maybe it was just because the Shadow, that damn being, enjoyed how his world collapsed.
“Yeah, sorry, I had to. I needed some unfinished business to be addressed.” It walked away, going to a part of the cave—was this place a cave? It was so dark— like if on search for something. “It is funny, that you didn’t notice an empty space.”
What was it referring to–
Wind.
“Where is he?!” It didn’t mention anything about him, how was he, how was his life going, where is he, nothing.
“You see, I needed to give a last favor to my dear master” He grabbed what looked like a dagger, the shape being difficult to make out in the dark “After all, you killed her.”
It clicked, of course these damn copies of him that Cia made were a sentient being, of fucking course.
“You took the one that I lived for, the one that I cared the most” Its voice sounded less like the joking one that he was using and more like one full of hatred, full of a toxic grief. “So, in exchange, I must offer you a deal.”
Warriors didn’t ask, didn’t said any word, it wasn’t necessary. Wind was tied up, with cuts and some bruises on his arms.
“This rascal was a pain for my plan. The little fucker infiltrated into my perfect illusion before I could take his place” Wind seemed like he was going to bite its fingers off, maybe that’s why he had a rope in his mouth. “When I was about to put his replacement in the way, he appeared like out of fucking nowhere and decided to include himself into the group of clowns. If I did a wrong move, any error,” At this point it was acting too dramatic, it makes sense that Cia created it “everything that I planed so carefully since that dark day would shatter into pieces.”
“Funny how a kid can do that, are you sure this plan was perfect?” Warriors wanted to fuck with it a little, it talked enough already, it was his turn.
A silent giggled came from the sailor, obviously for once taking the ‘being a kid’ card as a very powerful weapon to make fun of the Shadow.
“Ah-ha, yes very funny, let’s see if you stay laughing.” He grabbed Wind’s shoulder, making him move to be in front of Warriors, now they were face to face.
“This is my deal;” It made spin the dagger in his fingers, a smirk on his face that didn’t gave the captain any good feeling “You let me take an important thing from you, like that you will compensate what you took from me.”
“And what is the trick?” He knew it wasn’t this simple, it was impossible that the Shadow would ask for his favorite rock or something like that.
“Simple! I need you to choose which of these important things you will give to me. You have two very easy options:” It pointed his dagger towards Wind “The pirate’s heart, or…” The dagger was now pointing to his direction “Your life.”
Wind seemed like he wanted to protest, to give his opinion, that made him gain a kick from the Shadow.
“Choose, O Hero of Hyrule” The voice of Legend was the one used to say that.
The mother fucker.
Somehow, the sailor managed to free himself from the rope in his mouth “Captain don’t you fucking dare to–“
“Take my life. Let him be free.” He looked directly in the eyes to the Shadow, red ones and his own face looking back.
Wind was saying something, that wasn’t important right now.
“You can’t be serious! What in Farore’s damned tits are you thinking?! You can’t just choose to fucking die! You–“ Warriors kicked him without too much force in the arm where his hand was, making him shut up.
“Alright, now that our beloved seagull chick was silent, we can proceed!” The Shadow moved to stay in front of the captain, leaving Wind out of his sight.
“Just… One small request, yeah?” He looked again to the Shadow “Tell Cia that I say hi”
Before it could ask, its chest was impaled. Wind, having one of the hidden daggers in Wars’ boots, pressed it in where the heart must be.
The captain always had a plan, he wasn’t going to die so easil–
Something went through his throat, the taste of iron now sickly present in his mouth. He looked up and red eyes, full of hatred and an emotion that he couldn’t recognize, meet his.
“Now we are even.”
Wind’s scream was the last thing he heard; his vision was now filled with black spots.
When he finds her, he will ask Hylia to send him back to his island. That’s the last thing he wants to ask her. At least, his brothers, even if he didn’t really meet them, are okay.
Sorry Twilight, hope someone else talks with you about that thing about pretending to be fine, you idiot.

No. I think only Time and Sky would call the child that.
Probably about the same reactions they would if they found that Hyrule had the full triforce. Shock and awe. With a healthy dose of horror and anger. I can't imagine it changing much of how they already treat the child though.
Warrior, for sure. Legend and Sky might but it's 50/50 for the both of them.
Let's be real, they'd probably pop into existence in the middle of the street and cause mayhem before they could figure out what was going on. The rest of us better but on the watch and pray that we find them first before the cops do.
Horror. Link just couldn't let them go, huh? Now they came back wrong. Wild thanks his lucky stars everyday that he avoided it because he was close to a very similar fate.
Remember the Goron Spice? Yes. Yes, he does.
Panic. Pure unadulterated panic. Find the kid at all costs sorts of panic.
I don't think they would need to think for very long as to why the king wants to exterminate them. They're monsters. End of story. I don't think it's that much of a leap on logic. They just suddenly don't agree with it as blindly anymore.
Sleep walk? I don't think so. Sleep talk? Sure. He get those visions, right? I don't see why he wouldn't react to what he was seeing if he was trapped in it.
I think this is a question more suited for @thesoftieanon. Remember, Hesper is not my character! :D
Wild. I don't think that's much of a question. XD
I wanna be in Zora's Domain. I just love the way it looks no matter the iteration and its just so pretty. It would probably be humid but I don't think it would be hot so it couldn't be so bad. <3
I think Legend would get the hang of it the fastest. He's quick on his feet and on the draw and has been on more than enough adventures to figure out almost any puzzle that's presented before him.
I feel like this also has an actually answer somewhere on the blog back when they were getting near daily updates but I think this is another question better suited for Softie. Telepath! Reader was their character as well for the most part anyway. :)

Sooo, I know that you are technically the “Wars expert”, but you are really good at predicting things that will happen the LU comics.
I keep thinking that Twilight is getting more and more fed up with everyone treating him like he’s made of glass. What do you think, how long will it take until he snaps at someone for being overprotective? And who will it be? ( my guess is that it’ll be either Wars or Time and that it won’t be long 😉)
okay pardon the fact that my brain is soup rn my head is pounding lmao, none of this is gonna be coherent and most of it is off topic rambling i dont think a word of this makes sense-
I don’t really think the others are treating Twi like glass, at least not now
so in my mind i separate the group a bit into “kids” (wind, four, hyrule, legend, wild) and “adults” (time, wars, twi, sky). Now I think the only thing canonically established in LU is that Wind is the youngest and Time is the oldest, so the rest of the group hierarchy can go literally whichever way you interpret it, but I definitely think of Wars and Twi as pretty close up there to Time in regards to how much “power” (for lack of a better word-) they have within the group. They’re the only two who feel like they have the power to “talk back” (again for lack of better words) to Time in a way where Time might actually LISTEN. I feel like it’s not that the others are treating Twilight like glass, they’re worried about him because he almost died, but they have faith in him. But Time on the other hand has to look at Twilight and see his own future with Malon and all that, and based off the conversation in “Malon 5” it seems like Time might feel at least a little bit responsible for keeping Twilight safe and uninjured. But despite this I think that hasn’t impacted his view of Twilight’s capabilities, like yes he might keep more of an eye out for him, but he knows Twilight can handle himself
The new added element to this whole situation is Warriors and “Wild’s” dungeon inexperience. Because now Time, unofficial official leader, has his two “second” in commands as “Guy who has never stepped foot in a dungeon before in his life” and “Descendant who almost died”, and as we’ve seen he’s been really stressed lately and this is just adding to it. Which, yeah, I would be stressed too 😭
My theory isn’t necessarily that Twi is going to snap because he’s being babied, but rather if we DO see him getting snappy at people (Time) it’s going to be because of how strict he’s getting
That being said I have theories about the breakdowns of the groups, and I’m not sure I see a scenario in which Twi, Time, and Wars would be in the same group. MAYBE two of them, but I can’t imagine all three of them would be in the same spot. If they are tho, that’s be hilarious and the fucking DRAMA- oh my god
I think if Warriors WASN’T with Time, he’d be with either Twi or Legend, but not both, and I think the third person could be Wind. If I were the one building these groups, I’d make it Wars, Legend, and Wind
If Time WASN’T with Twi, he’d be with Wars, and if not Wars then I think Four and/or Hyrule. High Stress Adult + two experienced but very chill “kids”. They’d have their differences in how they do things, but I think those three would work well together. But if Jojo’s feeling evil I think Time, Wild, and Legend would be an EXPLOSIVE group of clashing personalities and all three of them would argue the entire time because they’re all very stubborn. I think poor Wild would really get the short end of the stick in that scenario-
I predict, if these groups are gonna be 3 groups of 3 and the goal is to create well balanced teams:
Twilight, Sky, and Wild would be a POWERHOUSE: two adults + one “kid” with ‘half’ dungeon experience. They’d get along well, they’d work well together
Time, Four, and Hyrule: Again, High Stress Adult + two quieter “kids”, but I really think Hyrule and Four would work well together, and they’d balance out Time’s stress with their goofy little guy-ness
Wars, Legend, and Wind: It’s giving a mom taking her two kids to indulge in their hyperfixation she knows nothing about. Wind and Legend are totally capable in a dungeon, and they both have a good dynamic with Wars that could be very entertaining and funny, and definitely just enjoyable to witness
but the evil voices in me want the groups to be Wars/Time/Twi, Legend/Hyrule/Wild, Sky/Four/Wind, because I’m just imagining Drama Queens (crying, screaming, emotions involved), Triple Threat (pure crack), and The People Actually Getting Shit Done, and that would be so epic
aight thats all i got

Quest for a Cure (LU in Healthcare War Era)
Sicktember prompt 2 is here! :D @hermitdrabbles56 @socialc1imb I know you wanted to see this plot. :)
(AO3 link)
His entire body hurt so much. It wasn’t the worst pain he’d ever been in, but by heaven it was unpleasant. What was more alarming, though, was the distinct sense of dread that was steadily building in his stomach, a knowledge of oncoming darkness that couldn’t be pierced, a strange peace and anxiety fighting for control as something so unquestionably inevitable slowly edged ever closer.
Time swallowed thickly, trying to open his eyes. By all things holy, I certainly am being dramatic this evening.
Yes. Yes, he was just being dramatic. That’s what the logical side of his brain was saying, at least. The side that was desperately trying to maintain control as it slipped through his fingers. The rest of his mind was registering how utterly weak he was, how he hadn’t had anything to eat or drink in at least two days (from what he could reckon), how someone was at his side constantly, how this virus had hit others and was more than capable of snuffing out its victims.
The darkness was pierced with light, dim and flickering—he really needed to change that lightbulb, didn’t he?—and he saw three silhouettes over him.
Saria? Sheik? No, none of the figures matched their physiques. The blurred edges of those over him started to clear, just enough for him to see familiar faces.
His Lost Boys.
Warriors, Sky, and Wind were watching him with varying expressions of concern. Wind’s eyes were wide and worried, fear evident in his constricted brow. Sky was more distant, anxiety held at bay by sheer force of will but still clearly showing through his expressive face, however muted he tried to make it. Warriors just looked exhausted, a dread shrouding him and making him look far older than he actually was.
Time tried to smile, but he knew it looked as strained as it felt. “What’s with the long faces?”
“You’re definitely not going to work today, old man,” Warriors said with a carefully light tone. “I see the night didn’t treat you well.”
“Are you feeling any better than before? You look awful,” Wind asked, his voice trembling.
Time swallowed thickly. He’d physically been through worse, he knew, but…
He was a trauma surgeon. He fixed things. A laceration was simple, an illness…
Damn it all. There was a reason he didn’t go into internal medicine. He hated how helpless he felt. He hated how scared his boys looked. He hated how he knew in his bones that this was not going to be an easy illness to overcome… assuming he would even overcome it.
“I’ll be up and about soon, Nugget,” Time answered to reassure them, even if he was lying through his teeth. Wind brown uncurled a hair, the tension in his face releasing for a moment, and Time thought he’d almost succeeded. Sky and Warriors, on the other hand, had hardly changed their expressions.
“Please try to rest,” Sky said so softly that Time almost missed it entirely.
Time watched the boy and stretched a trembling hand out to take his. Sky slowly took it. His hand felt so warm in Time’s frozen grip that it brought a little sigh of relief through the surgeon’s lips.
He wanted to say something, anything. Some anxious thought in the back of his mind said this might be his last chance to do so. He really didn’t appreciate the sentiment behind that, but…
If it was his time, then it was his time, he supposed. His gaze passed theirs, up to the ceiling. You have lousy timing, you know. Why would you take me away now, when I have children to look after? To finally find companionship and family, to finally find a purpose once more, to finally feel as if I belong, only to be ripped away and leave them bereft… what a terrible fate.
Despite his ire at the situation, despite his worry for his boys, Time felt his eyes closing once more, and the darkness consumed him.
As the surgeon’s eyes closed and he let out a shaky breath, the three others in the room tensed once more. Sky hated feeling how limp Time’s hold was on his hand, and he stepped away, hugging himself as Wind slid in to replace him. He took a fortifying, slow breath, leaning against the doorway while Warriors took the washcloth from Time’s forehead and dipped it in a bowl of ice water.
“So is he feeling better…?” Wind questioned hesitantly, suddenly not so sure of Time’s reassurance.
“No,” Warriors answered curtly, and Sky winced. The nurse was clearly not pleased with what he was seeing, and it made Sky worry even more.
“You think it’s going to get that bad?” Sky asked hesitantly, his voice quiet.
Warriors sighed as he wrung the cloth out. “I don’t know. I’ve seen it sweeping through barracks, though. It hits everyone to varying degrees. Some people just feel run down and bedridden, and others…”
The rest of his sentence hung heavily in the air.
Wind burst out, “But you guys are medical people! There’s a hospital right here!”
“It’s a field hospital, kiddo,” Warriors clarified as he wiped the sweat off Time’s brow once more. “We stabilize, do emergency surgeries, and then ship them somewhere more equipped to handle a long-term stay and recovery. Besides, the medicine to treat this virus is expensive, they’re not going to ship it out here unless it’s taking out the troops in droves, and it isn’t. Time wouldn’t be staying here, and his illness isn’t something we have medicine for. Either he’s going to get through it or someone will fly him out of here.”
Sky shifted uncomfortably. He didn’t usually fly people from the field hospital to the fully equipped military hospital in the Gerudo capital. He hadn’t seen a piece of land that wasn’t involved in the conflict since he’d finished basic training. The capital was very much in a safe location and therefore not his priority. Time would be protected there, but…
“We’d never see him again! What if they transfer him from there or something?!” Wind exclaimed.
“You don’t know that—” Warriors tried to reassure, but now the teenager was frantic.
“No! This is stupid, why does everyone have to keep leaving—” Wind growled, turning towards the door, and then he stopped with a heavy sigh. “I’m… I’m sorry. I know you’re dealing with a lot.”
“It’s okay, Sailor,” Warriors replied with a kind smile, though Wind didn’t see it.
Sky looked between the pair, and then his eyes settled on Time’s pale face, already drenched once again in sweat. He wasn’t winning this fight and Sky knew it. Thoughts clouded his mind so much he couldn’t put words to them or string a coherent sentence together. He settled for putting a gentle, reassuring hand on Wind’s shoulder.
Then sudden clarity struck him. His lips pressed firmly against each other, and his fingers curled into Wind’s shoulder, catching the teenager’s attention. Sky motioned towards the hallway with his head.
“We’ll be back later,” Sky said to Warriors, who gave a simple nod.
When the door to Time’s room closed, Wind said, “I know I shouldn’t have yelled. Can we do something to help them, though? I can bring Wars food or something.”
“I have a better idea,” Sky said, a smile starting to pull at his lips. “This virus is pretty common to this area. Which means somebody has to have medicine for it closer than the capital. I think the nearest enemy camp in the town ought to be a good place to start.”
Wind gasped, immediately catching on to what Sky was implying. “Hell yeah! I know all the ways to get in there too!”
Sky smiled as the boy’s face practically glowed. There were likely a hundred rules Sky was breaking in even suggesting this, but he didn’t care. Time was seriously ill, and Sky knew the enemy had to have medicine for such a thing. Sure, the local village might not have it, nor would their military base, but many of the enemies they were fighting here were locals, and they had been dealing with this for ages. He also knew from flybys where their nearby camp was – the nearest one, at least, and the one that was based in a town, which meant it likely had the medicine.
And he had a kid who knew how to sneak in and out of said encampment.
It was time to help their friend.
Sky guided Wind to his own quarters. His roommate thankfully was out, which gave him the opportunity to plan things out somewhere as private as possible. He quickly pulled out desert camouflage attire, putting it on and glancing at Wind, who waved him off.
“I’m small, I sneak in and out of there without it all the time,” the kid reassured him with a smile. His easy confidence both amused Sky and made him uneasy. For a moment he realized the gravity of what he was asking of a fourteen-year-old. Time’s pain-stricken face floated into his mind, though, and his anxieties over losing him overruled the concern. Besides, Wind had said it himself – he’d snuck in and out plenty of times. It wasn’t fair to ask this of the kid, but Sky did have to wonder how well they’d fare if the army utilized Wind to take the enemy base down entirely.
That was a matter for another day. Sky couldn’t eliminate an entire enemy base, but he could sneak into one.
But just in case, he packed two pistols and his semi-automatic gun. Just in case. And maybe a sniper rifle.
Wind did, under mild protest, get a camouflage jacket from Sky, both for the elder teenager’s sanity and because the desert was frigid at night.
The pair snuck by the guards rather easily—unnervingly easy, Sky would have to bring this up later—and began their long trek through the desert.
“How long does it usually take to get to the town?” Sky asked before adding out of curiosity, “And why do you sneak in there so much? You know they can kill you, right?”
“It’s like an hour walk from here with the route I take,” Wind answered. At Sky’s alarmed expression, he added, “It’s not a route that vehicles can drive. We’re gonna be climbing. A lot. Hope you can hold on to all your guns.”
“Speaking of which,” Sky said, holding out a pistol and a machete. “Do not use these unless you absolutely have to. Got it?”
Wind reached out hesitantly. Sky quickly asked, “You do know how to shoot, right?”
Wind gave him bewildered, somewhat exasperated look. “Why the hell would I know how to shoot?”
Great. Maybe just the machete, then. “I don’t know, you’ve been wandering a war zone for so long now I figured you had something up your sleeve to defend yourself.”
“I do!” Wind replied excitedly, pulling out a boomerang. “This baby’s helped me out in tough times!”
“Huh.” Sky gazed at the boomerang curiously. “That’s different.”
“It works!”
Sky shrugged. Whatever worked, he supposed.
The adolescent pair continued into the desert night, a chilly wind trying to tear through them. Wind’s path quickly went off the main road, and Sky did indeed find himself climbing nearly sheer cliffs, gripping whatever flora had managed to creep along its walls. He started sweating quickly, feeling his stamin fall, but they managed to reach the top before his grip gave out. Their journey was mostly spent in silence aside from Wind giving pointers on footing, giving Sky plenty of time to formulate different plans.
This medicine had to be in a clinic or hospital. Which meant they’d have to get to that point. Then they’d have to figure out how to sneak into such a facility. It was a good thing he had thought to swipe a few items that Wars had left lying around.
Wind held up his hand suddenly, making Sky freeze. Then the kid cackled, pulling out his phone. “Gotta do the obligatory pre-break-in selfie.”
“Wind!” Sky hissed. “I could get court martialed for this, no pictures!”
“Oh come on!” Wind argued. “I’m not dumb, I don’t share this stuff! These pictures are to show my grandma and sister when I find them, that’s all.”
Sky sighed heavily. To hell with it. Pulling down the black mask that was covering his face he gave a strained smile as Wind winked at the camera with a peace sign.
The edge of the town was surrounded by stone walls. The only entrance in and out was flanked with multiple armed guards. Sky looked at Wind hesitantly, and the kid had the audacity to smirk. Sky was almost proud of him.
Wind moved towards the alpha side of the town wall, pointing to a spot that seemed darker than the rest of the surrounding area. “A lot of places here have old leftovers from way back when. This town’s got old sewage system that they don’t really use, it’s kind of more just runoff for… I don’t know, I guess they get rain sometimes. Either way, we can get in that way because they don’t really use it anymore.”
“And nobody’s guarding it?” Sky asked curiously.
“There’s, like, one guy. And he’s so freaking bored. He plays games on his phone.”
Sky snorted out a laugh and then followed his friend. The pathway was a little muddy, implying that something usually ran through here. It didn’t have a terrible odor to it, though it wasn’t great. Sky clutched his gun tightly as Wind peered around a corner and motioned for him to follow. The mud squelched too loudly for his liking, and with as on edge as he was feeling…
These people wouldn’t hesitate to hurt them. He’d seen what they were capable of. They’d shot down a medical helicopter for heaven’s sake. Still, if Wind had managed to sneak in and out…
Wind pointed silently, and Sky saw the guard in question. He squinted, staring at the man’s phone. Was that Angry Birds?
Slowly, Sky put his gun away, letting it rest on his back, and the pair scooted forward. The man sat close to the entrance, but not directly beside it. If he stayed engrossed in his game, they might actually have a chance. Wind snuck out first, quick and silent. Sky followed suit, feeling his stomach clench so tightly he thought he could throw up, but neither caught the guard’s attention.
Great. Great. They were in the city. Sky let out a subtle laugh, shaking the jitters off as they slipped into an alley. Now all they had to do was find a clinic or hospital or—
Oh, that giant building with the medical symbol ought to do nicely.
“What are you usually doing when you sneak in here?” Sky asked, suddenly curious.
Wind shrugged. “Looking for my sister and grandma. But they don’t really have refugee locations or prisoners here or anything.”
Sky felt his heart hurt. This kid was so determined to find his family. It was no wonder he was desperate not to lose anyone else.
“They’ve got curfews and stuff here,” Wind noted. “Since they turned the whole place into a base and all.”
There went Sky’s next thought to just blend in with the civilians. He supposed they would have to sneak around everywhere, then.
Maneuvering to get to the hospital wasn’t too terrible – the majority of the guards were posted along the walls rather than through the streets. The hospital was a fairly small one, but still more of an official medical institution than the field hospital Sky flew people to. He grabbed Wind by the shoulder and motioned to a bag he’d brought along.
“What’s that?” Wind asked hesitantly.
Reaching in, Sky pulled out a pair of scrubs and smiled mischievously.
Wind’s eyes brightened. “We’re posing as nurses!”
“I am,” Sky corrected. “You won’t fit in Wars’ clothes.”
“How did you get his scrubs?”
“Lost a bet. He wanted me to do his laundry as punishment.”
“…Did you clean them first?”
Sky tilted his head with a sheepish smile. “Well… point is, I have scrubs.”
Wind raised a cautious eyebrow. “So then what about me…?”
Sky’s smile grew more devious.
Ten minutes later, a security guard was knocked unconscious and dragged away, tied and gagged (with a bonus unconscious selfie with Wind winking and Sky looking mildly exasperated), and a wheelchair was acquired as a nurse wheeled his pediatric patient into the hospital.
“Okay, so we need to find the pharmacy,” Wind whispered. “That’s where the medicine would be, right?”
“We need to know what the medicine is first,” Sky replied quietly. “The only way to do that is for you to have that virus.”
Wind gave a quick huh? And then gasped with an oh! And proceeded to start fake coughing so hard the veins in his neck bulged.
“Easy, sailor,” Sky said worriedly, but Wind waved him off. When they stopped at the emergency department doors, Sky got himself together and waved sheepishly at the triage tech. “Forgot my badge, sorry. Mind letting me in?”
The triage tech rolled her eyes good naturedly and walked over. “You’re on the struggle bus tonight, buddy.”
“Yeah, I know,” Sky replied with a chuckle as he wheeled Wind in.
“So uh, what’s this virus called anyway?” Wind whispered as Sky found an empty room to put him in.
“I know the colloquial term is Sand Fever,” Sky said, pausing. “But I don’t know its actual name. I’m hoping that’s enough, though.”
If there was one thing Sky knew he could rely on, it was the chaos in the emergency department. He went to registration and put on a show how there was no paperwork for this new patient and gave her false information for a face sheet. She noted that he hadn’t been triaged, according to the paperwork, and Sky said he had, actually, he was in bad enough shape that they were going to get the info once they brought him back, which wasn’t unheard of for critical patients.
So one false paperwork bracelet later, Sky and Wind found themselves awaiting a physician’s examination for the presumed serious case of Sand Fever. Wind really played it up as much as he could, and it certainly worked well enough that the physician was willing to do a test for the virus. As soon as she left, Sky asked Wind, “How did you fake wheezing? Like this whole thing definitely has my heart rate and blood pressure up, but I can’t fake wheezing.”
Wind huffed, almost proudly, but then he wilted a little uncertainly. “I… don’t know. I tried hard, though.”
Sky’s confidence in the situation faltered a moment, quivering like a freshly hatched chick. Wait…
Dread filled him, and he slowly walked out of the room. He wandered the emergency department to get a lay of the land and distract himself, keeping close enough that he could rush to Wind’s room if anyone suspected anything. He felt incredibly exposed all of a sudden.
After maybe his third lap around the unit, the physician from earlier stopped him. “I put in orders for the Velkisen. Give him an initial dose and then I’ll write a script for pharmacy to fill.”
Sky blinked. What? “Uh, yeah. Okay.”
He repeated the name over and over. Velkisen. Velkisen.
Wait. Was that… was that the antiviral medication? Was… did that mean…?
“Shit,” Sky swore, going back to Wind’s room.
Wind perked up immediately, having been anxiously fiddling with the blanket provided to him. He also immediately could read Sky’s expression and knew something was wrong. “What is it?”
“You’ve got Sand Fever,” Sky said.
Wind blinked. Then he said, “Wow. Okay. That makes sense for the wheezing and achiness.”
“You’re achy and didn’t say anything?!”
Wind stood, crossing his arms defensively. “What differnce does it make? It doesn’t affect everyone the same, clearly I’m not as bad off! So what if I got it from Time! He needs the medicine.”
Sky groaned. “Well, we’re in luck because—”
A script! They were going to get a script!! All Sky had to do was fudge the amount of pills they would need, he could double or trip it, and they could get out of here with everything they needed from the hospital pharmacy!
…Assuming the pharmacist didn’t question it.
And he needed to get the initial dose apparently.
Sky advised Wind to wait and turned quickly, asking another nurse to let him into the medication room because of his supposedly forgotten badge. That wouldn’t get him into the actual dispenser, though, and he knew that. He had to figure out something.
Wait. He knew a trick he’d seen Warriors done a few times to override for medication. All it took was swiping some aspirin out of someone’s bag. Then he poked another nurse. “Hey, I need to return this medication, but it’s not popping up for me. Do you mind checking for me?”
The nurse shrugged and popped in easily enough, and Sky once again felt guilty at how he was abusing the camaraderie that emergency personnel showed each other.
The nurse logged into the dispenser and asked, “What’s the med called?”
“Vil—Vilkon—Vel—”
“Velkisen?”
“Yes! That’s the one.”
The nurse tossed him a look with a smirk. “Long night?”
Sky laughed nervously. “Yeah. I keep tripping over my words.”
“What’s the patient’s name?”
“Last name is Tingle.”
“Looks like it hasn’t even been dispensed.”
Sky made a humming sound and gently pushed by the nurse to look at the screen. “Weird. Well, I guess I’ll just pull it again, then.”
He tapped the medicine name with his finger, and a drawer popped open. When a compartment opened inside, awaiting his removal of the medication inside, he hesitated.
This was an intravenous medicine. He could immediately tell from the vial. There was no way he was administering this to Wind, even if the boy needed it. He grabbed it nonetheless – hopefully it could help Time. The script ought to provide more anyway. With a nod to the other nurse, he quickly made his way back to Wind, who was just finishing a conversation with the doctor.
“How old did you tell them I was, anyway? She hasn’t once asked about a parent,” Wind noted as Sky hastily slid the door closed.
“Eighteen,” Sky answered easily before pulling out the medicine. “Did you get the script?”
Wind waved the paper triumphantly. “I sure did! Tripled the dose, too. Now we just wait until I get discharged?”
“No,” Sky immediately said. “Too much paperwork, too many questions, too easy for people to figure out something’s off. Let’s head for the pharmacy now.”
“That means we have to sneak by the nurses too.”
“Yeah.”
“Sweet! Best night ever! We’re like spies!”
Sky sighed heavily, feeling exhausted. They were going to be dead spies if they weren’t careful. “Let’s go.”
Wind snapped one more selfie, showing his hospital wristband, and then nearly skipped over in delight. The pair tried to look as innocuous as possible as they casually slipped out of the room and into a hallway before following a transporter through locked doors and peeling off to head towards the signs indicating pharmacy.
It was honestly unnerving how easy it was, even if Sky felt like he was going to have a heart attack at any moment. He was going to ask Wind how the kid was so excited, but the more he watched him, the more he saw the nervous ticks, the way the younger one’s hands were shaking, the way his eyes were constantly on alert. Wind was just as scared as he was, but he expressed it through excited jitters.
The pharmacy tech filled the prescription after an agonizing few minutes, and before they knew it, they were slinking through the basement of the hospital with pockets full of pills.
“I hope this is enough,” Sky muttered as they found their tied up security guard. The man was wiggling now, trying to yell over the gag Sky had secured over his mouth. Sky grabbed his bag of supplies, changing out of his scrubs and back into his uniform as Wind threw the spare camouflage jacket back on and ripped off his hospital bracelet, pocketing it. Then Sky grabbed the butt of the gunstock and slammed it into the man’s temple, knocking him out once more. He then untied the guard so he could awaken and get actual help when they’d left.
But he should have known. This mission had been all too easy. Something had to go wrong.
It was blissfully late in the game. They had gotten back to the Angry Birds guard, who had now taken position directly in front of the entrance to their escape route. The pair came up with a plan quickly, and Sky waltzed up to the guard.
“Nice score,” he commented with a smile, and the guard jumped, registered the sight in front of him, and promptly got clocked on the head by a boomerang that he’d missed due to Sky’s distraction. A solid punch to the face did the rest of the work.
Unfortunately, it was time for the soldier to check in based on the radio traffic. Sky grabbed his gun, hissing for Wind to run ahead, and the pair tore into the tunnel. By the time they’d reached the other side, alarms were blaring.
“Head for the cliffs!” Sky yelled. If they could clear them they’d at lease be out of sight.
Instead, a spotlight shone right on them. Wind yelled, running faster. Sky whirled, firing his rifle at the light source, blinking rapidly to see his target. A few blind shots in the general direction eliminated the spotlight, but it also gave away their position just as well.
“Climb! Now!!” he ordered, slipping behind a boulder to give cover fire.
Wind scrambled up the rocks, flinching as gunfire peppered the area around him, though it primarily honed in on Sky’s general location. Sky fired off rapidly, praying he hit at least a few targets or warded them away long enough.
“I’m over!” Wind called. “Come on!”
“I’ll follow you, just go!!”
“Sky—”
“GO!”
Any argument Wind might have had was covered by the wound of bullets slamming into stone, sending dust and tiny, sharp rocks flying. Sky prayed the kid listened. You have the medicine, Wind. Save Time and yourself.
The distinct sound of a gave opening caught his attention, as well as motors. Sky turned his head and saw two motorcyclists tearing out of the main entrance to the town. They wouldn’t be able to get to Wind in the higher terrain, but they could chase him down until he reached the end of the cliffs. Taking a steadying breath, he peered out from his shelter and fired, managing to pick one rider off, leaving their bike spinning out of control.
Their bike.
Sky held his breath and ran. Bullets sprayed the ground around him, creating a trail as the gunner tried to keep up with his steps. Sky nearly slammed into the bike, throwing a leg over and gunning it with all his might.
Drawing close to the cliffs, he screamed out Wind’s name. After the third attempt, he saw the blonde head poking over some stone, the only thing visible about him. Wind immediately perked up, but then he pointed and shouted in warning. Sky turned and saw the other cyclist approaching, gun in hand.
Pulling out one of the pistols he had tucked into his side, Sky fired once, twice, thrice, and the soldier fell. He moved towards the cliff again. “JUMP!”
Wind ran alongside him and leapt without hesitation, arms and legs splayed out wide. Sky reached out for him, managing to catch the falling teenager and helping him climb onto the bike between the pilot and the handles.
“Hold on tight!” He instructed as they tore into the night. Wind kept a continuous lookout, and Sky’s head turned so much it might as well have been on a swivel, but they had gotten enough of a lead to outmaneuver anyone on foot, and Wind started pointing out trails off the main road before any other vehicles could exit the base.
Sky revved the engine again, watching as they accelerated to speeds in the triple digits, and Wind laughed almost as loudly as his namesake that was whipping through their hair. The farther they got from the town, the more infectious the laughter became, and eventually Sky himself was whooping and screaming in delight.
We made it.

The room felt so quiet. So empty. So cold.
Warriors slumped in his seat, alone with his thoughts. Time had long since fallen asleep, breathing disturbingly shallow. It was high time he take him to the hospital. It was high time he get transported somewhere that could better handle this, assuming it wasn’t too late already.
It was silly, really, to assume such a thing. Time had only been sick a couple days. It had just slammed him all at once. He hadn’t become altered to such a degree until tonight. Some part of Warriors’ brain insisted on taking care of him here, in the barracks, as if telling himself the situation as fine would actually make it so.
But he’d waited long enough. He wasn’t going to risk Time’s life over his desperate attempt to placate his mind. Time would go to the hospital in the capital and be treated and he would be fine. Never mind how quickly he was deteriorating. He would be fine.
He fell apart in forty-eight hours. Will he last the flight? Will they even think it’s worth flying him? Will they risk a pilot, a flight crew, a helicopter to transport someone who might already be too far gone?
Is this my fault for not taking him to the hospital sooner?
Warriors was usually better than this. He could figure out when a situation was going south, he could distance his emotions from the situation. This should be no different.
Except it was different. Because he’d already lost others, and just the mere thought of Time leaving sent him spiraling.
Impa. Lana. Oh fuck, Lana.
Warriors blinked tears away, tried to regulate his breathing. It was time to get moving. He tried not to look at Time, tried to think he was just taking a patient, grabbed his radio to call for an ambulance, when the door to the room slammed open with such intensity it nearly took it off its hinges.
Shooting to his feet, Warriors stumbled and knocked over the chair he’d been sitting on, taking in the sight before him. Sky and Wind were in front of him, breathless, excited, covered in sand and sweat and—was that a smear of blood?! They were wearing camouflage, and Sky was sporting multiple weapons in different holsters.
Warrior felt his body grow cold. “What. Did. You. Do.”
The pair immediately dug into their pockets, hands emerging bearing pill bottles and a vial. Their eyes shone with hope, twinkling brightly like stars in their filthy faces. “We got medicine.”
The nurse’s brain immediately put the pieces together, and his body found itself in a strange, bewildering, clashing state of relief and horror. “You stupid bastards.”
Their laughter at his words was not appreciated.
“You could’ve gotten yourselves killed!”
“Medicine!” Sky barked as if issuing an order, interrupting Warriors tirade.
The nurse snatched the medication, still glaring at the pair. “We’re not done here, you hear me?”
He tore into his drawer to grab a syringe, a flush, and alcohol swabs. The medication, according to a quick internet search, was given IM, which simplified things. He was still taking Time to the hospital, though. But injection first. Dosage check first. Reconfirm the route first.
Time didn’t flinch as Warriors gave the shot. Sky was already on the radio calling an ambulance. Wind was smiling in the corner, looking like a triumphant little imp.
They were imps. Warriors was going to have a freaking heart attack. The lecture he had in store for them would certainly be enough to make them think twice before doing anything like this ever again.
Good Lord. If Time’s illness doesn’t kill me, these two surely will.
XXX
Waking up really shouldn’t have been this hard.
For whatever reason, Time was distinctly uncomfortable. The bed was too hard, blankets too warm, skin too itchy, joints too sore. As he fluttered his eyes open, he swallowed and coughed at the dry sensation at the back of his throat.
What had…? Where was…?
Wait.
Sitting up, Time felt the room spin a hair, paused, and then resumed what he was doing.
“Easy, old man.”
Warriors. That was Warriors.
Glancing to his left, Time saw the army nurse watching him with a gentle hand on his shoulder. Warriors gave a small, relieved smile, and it temporarily hid the dark circles under his eyes.
“You’re okay!” Came from his other side, and immediately Time felt Sky’s hand on his other shoulder as the teenager helped guide him back to his pillow.
“I’m… okay,” Time affirmed, actually feeling like it could potentially be true. He felt… not great, but also not the way he had before. The growing dread, the bone-weary exhaustion, the haziness… they were all gone.
He marveled at it a moment. Couldn’t quite believe it himself. He’d been so sure that…
Well. He supposed even surgeons could be wrong.
“Time!”
Wind practically leapt onto the bed, held in check by the other two, but not even Warriors and Sky could stop him when Time held out his arms invitingly. Wind tore into his embrace, practically flattening him into the bed as Time chuckled, relief flooding his body.
“It’s good to see you boys,” he whispered, tears leaking out of his eyes and disappearing into Wind’s hair.

Hello!! Can I request a yandere lubu x angel reader x yandere thor. I love these men and I want them to share the reader instead making them fight to get reader's love.
-When they both saw you, you were holding hands with two children, allowing them to pull you along, smiling gently, your wings tucked safely along your back.
-You were stunning, they couldn’t look away, and as warriors, they both knew you must have been special, as they both hadn’t really been interested in women, they just wanted to fight and have fun.
-You were surprised when they both approached you, asking you out and they sent a small glare to each other, but were stunned with you agreed, “Where do you want to go out to?” oh lordie you were too precious!
-The two men set aside their differences pretty quickly, as they could see that you liked the both of them, and when you started to pull away, feeling bad because you didn’t want to choose, they were in agreeance to share you, if you still wanted them.
-When they told you this, you showed off your surprising strength, plowing them both down, covering both their faces in kisses, leaving lipstick marks all over, which was amusing to see, but they didn’t mind, for you.
-They were protective of you, as you were kind to others, and they knew that kindness could be seen as weakness in the eyes of others, especially men.
-This came with territories, if they believed a man was getting too close, one if not both of them would come over, wrap an arm around your waist, minding your wings, sending a glare to the offending party.
-You adored your lovers, giving them equal attention, you were a ray of warm happy sunshine, countering their stoic, battle hungry personalities, but people loved that about the three of you, you just fit together so nicely.
-When you came home in tears, they were both instantly murderous, Thor cuddling you close after you crawled into his arms, before Lu Bu grabbed your hand, seeing a ring of bruises around your wrist, a handprint.
-They demanded to know what had happened as Lu Bu got you ice and you sniffled, telling them how a man tried to force you to go with him.
-Thor was so furious, he was radiating such pure malice, that you almost felt hot, “Where is he?”
-You blinked in light confusion as Lu Bu took you from Thor, holding you on his lap instead, as Thor was going to handle business this time, “Oh I killed him!”
-They froze, looking at you in shock as you blushed cutely before you explained yourself, “When he wouldn’t let me go, I gave him one chance or else. He chose or else and I threw him over my shoulder, in the judo throw you taught me, Lu. He landed wrong and I broke his neck because he was fighting me.”
-The two gawked at you before they were quickly laughing, their anger leaving them, while you pouted, blushing cutely as you continued, explaining that since there were witnesses, you weren’t in trouble.
-They hugged you gently, giving you soft kisses as they praised you, which made you feel happy.
-They shared a look without you seeing, making the decision that one of them would be with you at all times while out and about, just in case something like this happened again, but with them there, you wouldn’t be hurt.
-Nobody was going to ever be able to touch you again, unless if it was one of the two of them ~

NGA LU FRA'U You are Everything - Hek Tìpähem
Hek Tìpähem - Unexpected Arrival WC: 2.5k FemOmatikaya!Reader Pairings: {Neteyam x Reader - Strangers to Friends to Lovers}, {Lo’ak x Reader, Kiri x Reader, Tuk x Reader, Jake x Reader, Neytiri x Reader – Platonic} {An’oung x Reader, Tsireya x Reader, Ronal x Reader, Tonowari x Reader – Family} Prologue Here Chapter 2 Here Chapter 3 Here
This version is in Third Person.
The day of the Sully’s arrival to Awa'atlu was not ideal in the slightest, at least for the Olo’eyktan and his family. His daughter woke up impossibly early, though this was normal. She started her morning routine, checking camps, making deliveries, guiding the fishermen, gathering herbs and other materials. She snuck out onto the beach calling for her Ilu, the light not yet peaking out. She got onto her Ilu and swam the border of the reef before ducking off to familiar waters. She reached the tree of souls, the sight taking her breath away as it did the very first time she saw it. “Eywa, oh great mother.” She felt the energy around her, swimming close to the tree and watching as she wrapped her queue around the roots of the tree. She could hear them laughing, playing, smiling, singing and so much more. She felt more alive here than anywhere else, She spoke to her ancestors, talking to herself in the reflection of the water. Imagining it was her mother. She examined her features, sighing deeply as she brushed away her reflection in the water.
After a while she made her way back to her village, where her father, Olo’eyktan Tonowari stood waiting for her for morning training. She rose from the water, pushing her hair behind her. She had been late today. He gave her a stern look; she knew what it meant. I’m disappointed in you, daughter. He didn’t speak, he didn’t need to. The look was enough. He just headed straight to the ring made of shells on the south beach for combat practice. Tonowari stood to the side of the ring, watching as his daughter stepped in. He watched his good friend, Tsualuan, who he had known since he was a young boy step into the ring from the other side. Tonowari trusted this man with everything in him. He knew he would never do anything to purposely hurt his daughter, which was why they often sparred in combat together during her morning practice. Today was hand-to-hand combat.
He knew that his daughter was good with a spear, but he wanted to see how she did up close and personal. As he watched his eldest daughter in hand-to-hand combat with his second in command, he grimaced. He knew she was nimble, fast on land, agile, and graceful. Though she had one fault to her skill that he would have to correct. He knew Tsual certainly wouldn’t do it for him. His eldest was strong, mighty, he knew that for a fact. He watched her complete her warrior training just a year prior and was there when she received her first tattoos. She moves fast on land, especially sand, her feet are quick and precise.
Tonowari watched her strike the man in the ring from his left, turning him around as she spun behind him to again attack on his right. Tsual turned forward, reaching out to grab her. She was too fast, ducking down and sliding through the sand and under his legs. She grabbed his wrist from behind and twisted it behind his back, forcing him onto his knees and pulling his head back with her free hand. She hissed at him, dropping her hands as a smile grew across her face. “C’mon Tsualuan, give me a real challenge please!” She whined, knowing the old man often took it easy on her due to their difference in skill and age. Tonowari knew though that this time she had simply just outsmarted him. Tsualuan laughed, standing up and wiping the sand from his knees. “How would you ever win then?” He taunted her, it was a crucial part of their game.
Tonowari cleared his throat, approaching the two standing around. “Thank you Tsual, you are dismissed.” He nodded towards him, smiling softly as he walked away. As soon as it was just the two of them though, his face fell to disappointment “It was a nice takedown, but you left yourself unguarded many times with many weak point open. What if there were more than just one person? How would you expect to take down 5 men in armor with your stance unbalanced and choppy? What if you had not been in the sand? What would you of done then? You need to focus on your skills and not your terrain.” The girl in front of him let a sigh escape her lips, her ears falling to the side of her head, nodding. “Yes father, I apologize I was too caught up in the moment.” Tonowari paused for a moment, thinking for a moment before he placed his hand on her shoulder, guiding her down the beach path. “I have something important to discuss with you. It will be a difficult conversation, but it is time.”
He walked with her down the beach, quiet until he knew that they were far enough from the village that no one would hear. “Daughter, I know that for the past 11 years of your life you have been training and learning and adapting.” The words flew out of him like a river, expressing each thought, concern, and obligation. It all seemed so obvious. “I know you know that you are different as the rest of our clan, an outsider. The people of our clan love and adore you. They accepted you as one of our people many years ago and then again last year at your painting ceremony.” She listened carefully as the words flew out of her father's mouth, she felt like an idiot. “It’s just, the clan fears that since you are not Metkayina blood, that you will not be fit to lead the clan. You will have to fight An’oung for Olo’eyktan when the time comes. There will be several trials and many tests, but the final fight is one of most significance."
Her face shot up, looking directly at her father. She was in shock, fight her brother for Olo’eyktan? Did she even stand a chance? She could feel the heat, her face warming up and her ears dropping to the side. She dropped her head, trying to keep the tears inside. She tried to avoid eye contact, knowing that it would break the only thing keeping her together. She turned away from her father, trying to muster up all the courage she possibly could. “Alright, if that must be the way.” She knew that the more she tried to avoid it, the more it would burn. She walked away from her father without another word. Before she even knew it, her legs began running, not paying attention to where she was headed. She ran into the woods, the place she had gone for years. The place only she had found since the others didn’t dare come into the forest, at least not this far in. She had always found the forest comforting though. She arrived at her pond and curled up by the water, letting the tears flow out of her.
While she was gone, the Sully family showed up on their doorstep. They came to us seeking uturu. Ronal was hesitant to allow them refuge, she did not believe that forest Na’vi could offer any support to their people and would only be a hindrance. She didn’t believe that the Na’vi in front of her were built to learn their ways, especially so late in life. Tonowari was hesitant at first too, knowing first-hand what the RDA could do. However he also reminded Ronal that their daughter could do it, to which she could not argue even though she got a much earlier start. After some brief debate, they were accepted into the clan. “Toruk Makto and his family will stay with us. Treat them as our brothers and sisters. They do not know the sea so they will be like babies taking their first breath. Teach them our ways so they do not suffer the shame of being useless.” Tonowari looked them up and down, still a bit unsure. “My son, An’oung and daughter Tsireya, will help teach you the ways of our people.” An’oung groaned in protest, “But that’s not fair-” His father's eyes bore holes into his, he bit his tongue and sulked, not wanting to cause a scene in front of his father. Tsireya showed them to their marui, they got settled in. As it was getting closer to the start of eclipse Tonowari approached Jake in their family's new home.
“Jake Sully.” He spoke, standing in the entrance of the marui. The family looked up, seeing the Olo’eyktan in distress was not a good sign, especially so quickly after their arrival. “Is everything okay?” Jake stepped closer to him, setting down the blanket he was holding. “It’s my daughter. She has not returned from the forest, I am worried for her. I come asking for your help.” Jake and Neytiri look at each other, knowing the distress they would be in if something had happened to Kiri or Tuk. Jake thought for a moment, sighing a bit and finally speaking. “Neteyam, Lo’ak.” Jake turned to them and rubbed his forehead, unsure of what he was going to say next. “Go. Find her and come back. If you cannot find her, leave before eclipse ends and your mother and I will go look for her.” The boys made eye contact, Neteyam giving Lo’ak the ‘please don’t do anything stupid’ eyes. The two of them sped off, heading into the woods to search.
“Bro did we even ask what her name was?” Lo’ak turned to Neteyam, scratching the back of his head. Neteyams eyes widened, they didn’t know her name, how would they find her? “shit bro, I can’t believe we left before asking that.” Neteyam shook his head, clearly more stressed about the task now then he was moments before. “Let’s just stick together and you look on the left and I’ll look on the right. If you see or hear anything just tap me.” The two ventured off into the woods, it was not very large compared to the forest back at their home. The two boys stayed close to each other, not wanting to get lost in an unfamiliar place. They walked around for what felt like hours, but had only really been roughly 20 minutes. Lo’ak groaned, getting bored already with the chore they had been assigned too. He opened his mouth to complain to Neteyam when he heard the slightest sound coming from his right. It sounded like... singing? His eyes lit up, smacking Neteyam in the chest and pointing in the direction of the song. They approached a small opening in the trees, looking through to see what was inside.
Neteyam held a finger to his lips looking at Lo’ak, motioning for silence. They both followed the sound, stumbling upon the young girl sitting at the pond playing with the fish and singing an excerpt from a song, her songchord from the way it held emotion, pain and loss. Neteyam gently approached her, he thought the sound of his feet against the ground would be drowned out by her singing. He stopped a few feet back, noticing there was a long sharp spear sitting next to her. “Excuse me?” He gently spoke, trying his best not to spook her. Her eyes opened suddenly, as she spung around, splashing the water and grabbing the spear at her side. He held his hands up, showing a sign of peace. He was confused, this girl was not the same as the Na’vi he encountered on the beach. She looked like him. She was darker, more defined stripes along her body, a smaller frame and tail. She was from the forest.
He spoke gently, eyeing the spear in her hand. “Your father asked us to look for you” He watched as the girl hesitated, unsure of whether to trust them or not, after all two random boys she has never met approached her in the middle of the woods. “Tonowari was worried about you.” Lo’ak chimed in. The mentiono f her father’s name seemed to make her relax, lowering her weapon and placing it into the holder across her back. She eyed them up and down, her forehead crinkled down in a curious look. Neteyam held his hand out to her. She pushed his hand away, walking around the boy in a circle. She inspected them thoroughly, as they well, they looked like her. She had never seen another Na’vi that looked like her. “Who are you? What are you? Where did you come from?” She raised their arms while she inspected them like they were on display, she couldn’t help it she was curious.
The boys laughed and this made her stomach twist. “What was so funny?” Were they laughing at her? They soon saw the confusion on her face, realizing that she truly had no idea. “We’re just Na’vi from the forest, we’re Omatikayan.” Lo’ak began speaking, walking closer to her. “I’m Lo’ak and this is my older brother Neteyam.” He gestured towards the taller boy. The girl nodded towards them and started walking away, back towards the village. “Interesting.” They quickly scrambled after her, “Hey wait up!” Lo’ak caught up and started trying to explain the Omatikaya and why they were here. During their walk back to the village, Lo’ak started to realize that if this girl really had no idea about anything from where she is from, he could definitely make something up. “There’s a tradition back with the Omatikaya, when you meet someone, you smile and say ‘fuck you!’” He tried to stay as serious as possible, knowing damn well that Neteyam was shooting him major side eye. “That’s enough Lo’ak, don’t teach her bad words.” Neteyam soon enough had to take over the teaching. “Oh, Lo’ak right” The girl spoke up. He turned to her. “Yeah?”
“I know what ‘fuck you’ means.”
His face dropped, all the color leaving his face and his ears went back and forth from up and down momentarily. Neteyam let out a loud laugh, clutching his stomach and patting her on the shoulder. This was the closest she had felt to normal in a long time. She was so excited to finally feel as if she might finally fit in somewhere. She learned of their family, she had only heard legends of Toruk Makto and felt incredibly honored to be in his presence, and the presence of his kin. The two boys, Neteyam and Lo’ak, and the two girls, Kiri and Tuk. They shared stories of their home, doing their best to describe to her the beauty of the wildlife. She wanted to see it in person so badly, her heart ached for it. They reached the corner to go their separate ways for the night. “Thank you for escorting me home.” She smiled at them, taking a few steps towards her marui. “And by the way, my name is Ok’irse.” She was excited for them to be here, excited for them learn the ways of water, the ways of her clan, the ways of the Metkayina.
