Another random Erenville headcanon I have: He's a really good artist and his notes are filled with detailed sketches of various flora and fauna that he's come across while observing them.
#I think he'd have a sort of sketchy realism style#so that he can capture the details of whatever he's studying#with the most accuracy.#and he'd probably have little maps and stuff drawn in his own shorthand#that pretty much only he can decipher#I think he also uses regular maps as well#but whenever he goes off the beaten trail#or whenever he's tracking something#he jots down little shorthand details on the map#like a little sketch of a rock formation that stuck out to him#so when he's tracking his way back#he can more easily find his way.#It's not really a secret that he's good at art either#but most people don't know about it#since most people don't really think to ask.#and he'd probably just shrug it off like 'If I need to remember something a visual is much better than just words.'#like I don't think he gives his own art a second thought.
