oh i feel like you guys need to know that not only does my dad LOATHE smile bomb but he's insisting that it has... no melody? he's called it atunal more than once, which isn't a word but whatever. and when we pointed out that it does, in fact, have notes going up and down and shit, something that him disliking the song does not change, he did not retract this statement, and insisted on it several times afterward

#just as an update for you yyhheads #he's kind of a facts and logic guy but when you get into it he's just stubbornly confident about his bullshit #the other day i asked if edible mushrooms counted as vegetables bc like. they're not plants but we don't have a fungal food group #and he insisted that they couldn't be vegetables bc they weren't plants + they're just their own thing and i was like ok i respect that ig #and then he (and no one made him say this) added that tomatoes were totally vegetables as well despite the scientific reasoning #girl you can't pull out scientific classification on the basis of 'theyre used like vegetables not fruits' and then say mushrooms aren't #vegetables bc of their scientific classification despite being used like vegetables. do you hear yourself #anyway he's Silly and when it's stuff like this it's fine so. laugh at my dad with me
