VIII - STRENGTH: Give a good example of your character showcasing their strengths in a dire situation.
In a dire situation, Reacher turns into a soldier. He is very quiet and very smart about things – both carefully crafting plans, actively thinking on his feet, and using all his assets to ensure his victory. His defenses are up at all times. I think excellent proof of this is when he conducts a little raid inside a huge manor all by himself. It was risky, but he set the setting meticulously, even luring the enemy in. He worked things out both before and during the situation, when things started to escalate as, of course, not everything would go as planned. Though he was outnumbered, he took the enemies one by one and, though he almost ended up at a disadvantage, he used his strength, tools, and surroundings successfully, which ultimately paid off. (There are many examples throughout both seasons, but this one was one of my favorite and longer action scenes, so I had to mention it. I feel like it went into further detail as to his style and background as a Major.)
X - WHEEL OF FORTUNE: How would your character handle being in the opposite situation of their everyday life for a day?
His everyday life involves trouble finding him and him traveling anywhere without much luggage, if any. He's basically a free spirit. So, if he were in the reverse of this, I think he'd definitely feel out of his element, because normalcy is not something he's ever known, and being in a singular spot would make him feel uneasy and trapped. He'd probably handle it... decently enough, but I think he'd be more prone to stress and violence than ever, just because he doesn't feel right. He feels wrong, lost, he wants out – it would spin constantly in his head.
IX - THE HERMIT: How would your character handle waking up in a location they’ve never been before?
This would actually be a good thing to him, the usual. He's used to traveling to locations he doesn't know, discovering places over and over. It is all he's known, ever since he was a child. He'd handle it pretty much like normal. Roam around wherever he pleases, eat at diners, sleep on cheap motels, research whatever he wishes, live his life, and eventually travel to the next unknown spot.
